This place is ok. Only giving them 2 stars because I think they now tow peoples cars and I am able to find a parking spot by my hallway. One thing that makes me upset is there is no gym for residents or anything! Over 90% of apartment complexes have a gym. This place does not have anything. They once had a gym for a couple months years ago, but removed it. Outside gym places charge a lot and are a hassle when its time to cancel. I would love to walk to my neighborhood gym whenever I have the change to go. The grove, apex, the park, and avalon have a gym. I usually use theirs but it is protected with a key fob and I cannot keep coming up with excuses and lying about where I live to use it. For the managers here: Having a gym somewhere in the community could be helpful, or teaming with Avalon again and having us use their clubhouse would be great. Even if we have to pay a fee, I would do it.
Ive lived here for a long time with my uncle, and honestly this place went very downhill ever since it broke its ties with Avalon. First, maintenance doesnt show up half of the time, you have to keep asking them to come and even then, they expect you to pay for everything thats broken. Mind you the apartments are pretty old now, and the material of the things that are made in the house are low quality compared to other places. The garage is not safe, there have been multiple burglaries these past few years, people are parking in levels where they dont live, taking up the spaces for those that actually live there. There are cars that have been there for months and havent moved, and people have more than 2 cars stored in the garage when they shouldve been towed because apparently that was the policy before... and that doesnt get followed anymore? Also, I find a couple of strange people sleeping in their cars in the garage that DONT live in this area, mostly coming from different states. There should be assigned parking, because nobody follows the rules anymore. We have no amenities unlike other company buildings around us.. not even a gym! If I were you looking into this place, I would just save you the headache and go to AVALON! I know this place is affordable, but Avalon has affordable homes as well. A friend of mine moved from Arna Valley to Avalon, and they only pay almost a $200 difference. You guys need to do better on helping your community out, and getting involved on what the people that live here want, because its not fair to us when were giving you our money and you not doing anything back for us. One day, this place will be nothing if this continues to go like this.
Great place to live. Ive been here for 5 1/2 years is quiet clean and most important safeI want to thank Vanessa, Dalia, Loretta, who were the property managers and Ana who’s now the property manager for been very attentive to residents needs and concerns... maintenances employees are always on top off residents need. Is a honor to have this kind of people working here .Thank you very much for everything
Nice community. Friendly management. An added value for the property. The Virginia Surveillance Force. To protect property, assets and the residents
Me and my family moved to Arna Valley back in October 2017 and we absolutely love the community! as well as the property manager, Vanessa. She is so polite, happy, and always so helpful. Whenever I have an issue Vanessa is very knowledgeable of all the resources that are provided by APAH. Venus, the resident services coordinator is also very helpful with guiding residents to different resources offered through APAH as well as the county. Venus and Vanessa seem to work so well as a team. I feel as though that these two people are such great assets to APAH.Although I would like to add, it would be a tremendous help to the families of the community if there was a after school program offered for Children k-12.
