We have been at Centro for over amonth now and throughly enjoy our time here. The apartment is top notch and the staff is excellent. This is a very dog friendly facility wich we love because we have 2 furry friends. The complex has everything you could ever image and more, they have all the ameneties you are looking for in an apartment complex plus a dog park on the roof. The pool and gym are luxurious and kept very clean. They also go above and beyond to host events for residents, like yappy hour, pool parties etc. A huge plus is the convenient stores below like Harris Teeter, restaurants, orange theory, great clips, vet clinic and more! The Maintenance team is also very good at this complex, usually there is a huge wait time and it takes weeks to even get through to maintence. The team was out in a day to fix whatever was broken. I believe the gentlemans name was King, he is a very friendly staff memember who is very helpful and accomodating he was able to help me unload furniture and even take it up to my apartment with a big smile. Of course Willie and Austin are the biggest help, they are always available to take care of whatever and help out with open arms. I dont think I have run into staff who was unwilling to help. I can say I feel very comfortable to ask managment for help. Overall centro has been wonderful and I have recommended friends to live in this complex!

Ive lived at Centro for a year now, relocating due to work but if I were to stay in the area I would definitely renew!! Centro Apartments has great amenities and incredible staff (shoutout Austin & King). Super nice & very responsive to any service requests. Definitely getting a great deal for the price, 10/10 would recommend.

I have been living at Centro for 4 months and have enjoyed my experience thus far. The staff are amazing and communicate very well with the residents. Rarely have I needed maintenance but when I do they are timely and efficient. The building is packed with amenities including an on-site grocery store, dry cleaning service, and vets office. I dont think we could have picked a better place!

Came in a few weeks back w/ a friend who is really interested in Centro. The building sells itself and we were impressed with the units and amenities. Leon toured us and he was very welcoming, personable, and informative! Im not sure what my friend will end up doing but it was a great tour!

I Lived at centro Arlington for 6 months. It was a great decision to live there. The apartments are brand new, the price is great compared to similar properties with less amenities. The management and maintenance team were terrific and very attentive of the residents needs. Austin the property manager was always there to resolve residents needs, very helpful and understanding. The location is ideal, Harris teeter in the same building just made everything so convenient. Close to all major highways and public transportation. I highly recommend Centro to anyone looking to live in the Arlington area and looking for a great apartment.

I only got as far as the application process before my spouse and I decided it would be best to with a different location. However, I still would like to leave a review as the manager, Austin, was very helpful and addressed my concerns in a timely manner.Leon was the one who took care of my wife and I before we decided to pull our application, and we did so for reasons completely unrelated to the apartments themselves. Anyway I e-mailed Leon letting him know we decided to go a different route, and he wished us the best of luck. I asked if there was anything else I needed to do on my end to receive our deposit back, and he informed me that the deposit is non refundable.If you are a young adult, one thing I would advise you is to make sure you ALWAYS read the fine print and make sure you understand everything before you sign anything. If you find a discrepancy, or you are being told something that is not included in the agreement, challenge it. If you dont, this world will take advantage of you.So anyway, I responded to him asking for him to point out where exactly does it state that the deposit is not refundable. On their website, and throughout the online application process, it clearly states that the APPLICATION FEE is non refundable, but not the DEPOSIT. I didnt hear back from Leon for a few days, so I resent the message. He still never responded but Austin, the manager, stepped in and let me know that I was correct about it not being mentioned anywhere in writing and that he will send me a check. He confirmed the address in which Id like to receive the check for my deposit and I got it in my mailbox in less than 2 weeks. He was very polite and professional.I never heard from Leon again. He never even reached back out to acknowledge his mistake or apologize for trying to keep my money.I would like to believe it was an honest mistake, and that they are not just trying to take advantage of us because they think were young and dumb. Hopefully nobody else experiences this.I dont know if they made any changes since then and finallyincluded it in writing somewhere, but if you applied with Centro but decided to pull your application prior to Mar 30th and they kept your deposit, I suggest you get in touch with someone about getting that deposit back. You never agreed to let them keep your money. At least, not in writing.=)

I dont ever write reviews on apartments because I move so much but I absolutely love this place! The gym is incredible, the management is very helpful and actually remember who you are and say hi when they see you around the property. Austin was the person who helped me with my move and has been a huge help even after my move! Package concierge is great and the apartment itself is so spacious, tons of natural light, all hardwood floors which is so hard to find, brand new utilities, and the open style floor plan really lets you make the place your own! Not to mention you are right on top of a grocery store, hair cut place, and right next to Balston quarter and shirlington. Very pet friendly with a lot of parks and trails nearby! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great space in Arlington!

I fell in love with this community from the first day I toured it, even though it was under construction at that time. I eventually moved in during fall 2019 and knew I made the right decision. Fast forward to 2021 and Im still here. Amenities (very many of them) and location are both great. Still very impressed with the community and the management team. Excellent overall!

Great place to stay, a little out of the way, but always well taken care of and kept up well. King and Alex from the maintenance team are super quick to help with any issues and extremely helpful.

Let me begin by saying, I don’t even write reviews. Barely even pay attention to them! I HAD to write a review about this company. Firstly, Katlynn was my leasing specialist. I literally couldn’t have asked for a better person to assist me! She made me feel like I was the only person she was working on. I have never in my life felt so important when applying for an apartment. Secondly, IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! This apartment is everything and more, it is beautiful!!!!!!!! Lastly, the professionalism everyone displayed was out of this world. I will be living here until I relocate out of state. I’m so thankful to have found this apartment, can’t wait to buy the team lunch.

My boyfriend and I have been living in the building since June. We recently just moved down two floors with the help of Eddie. He was extremely helpful, genuinely listened to any concerns we had, responded even when he was not in office, and has checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. He has made the experience so easy for us! The building is great and if you’re planning on moving in, meet with Eddie!!!

The maintenance team, (King and Alex) are the best. They typically respond within 24 hours or less and always fix the issue. A big “thank you” to the maintenance staff!

Centro is a great place to be. I moved in almost a year ago September. Eddie, one of the leasing managers has been so helpful. He is always there to assist. Centro is in a great location with amenities you can’t resist. Also living above the Harris Teeter has been life changing. I recommended Centro to a few of my friends and they now live here. With a price so great - definitely worth checking out... If so talk to Eddie, he has been here since Centro first started. All staff is friendly and helpful from leasing managers to custodial / maintenance staff.

If you scroll down to John Adams review his review is spot on. Coming up on 1 year - let me give you some perspective. There are better values for money than what you get here. I hope this is useful for prospective applicants1) Barely Functioning Elevator Service - if the elevator isnt broken today, it will soon (tomorrow or the day after). All fun and games if you need to get your steps in for the day but for some of us who shop for groceries, or you know, had a great workout but being equally exhausted afterwards its not fun to walk to the other elevators on a consistent basis. Its always something with these elevators2) I cant tell you how many times I (and others) have gone up to grill and parts are missing, gas is out, and when gas is turned off there it would be great to know *where* to go to turn it back on. Yes, gas grills are similar but not all of them. Its the simple things leave some instructions, if you clean a grill put it back together, check the gas if its a holiday weekend. Simple stuff.3) Have a package? Good luck finding it in the mailroom. It still takes Amazon forever to find the place and actually deliver your packages in a well sorted mailroom. Some of your fellow tenants cant remove a large oversized box to save their life4) Single? Married? Relationship? Well, youll be a new member of the family with the people/families next to you, above you, and probably below you because this building was constructed SO poorly that you can hear every sneeze. Neighbors have kids? Well at some point you might as well walk up there and ask to be the guardian of the kids too because the walls are so thin you might as well have them in your apt5) Good luck working out in the AM - the building was constructed so badly, the poor residents above the gym could hear people dropping weights in the early AM. Management even sent out a notice for people not to use weights until after 9am. While some of the guys I know feel comfortable running out in pitch black in the winter (6AM), as a woman I dont subscribe to that... Something to consider if youre an early workout person.6) Last and also my favorite you have some terrible pet owners that make every pet owner look bad. Thats for a lot of apartments yes, but just be aware your welcome to the complex might be constant urine and feces from your neighborhood dog --> the internal discussion board has called out the 4th floor numerous times, so theres that...Maintenance staff are really nice, and they are prompt, so thats helpful.If youre considering moving in, think about the rental market. The rental market needs you, and there are far too many good deals to be had.--And yes, Centro staff you apologize for the experience...I evaluate as I see with my own eyes and have experienced for over 10 months. I hope this gives you some perspective especially considering the other reviews Ive seen.

Update 6/23/2021: I am going to go out on a limb here and say this property has the BEST management / customer service that Ive ever seen at any place Ive lived (and quite frankly, might ever live). Ive always had very positive experiences with all of the staff here, but today they went above and beyond what I could ever ask. After my food delivery person didnt do his job correctly (and wouldnt answer my calls), one of the leasing agents went with me to nearly every floor trying to find where they left my delivery. He was so positive and friendly on our search and our jokes helped ease my frustration. After being unable to find the place in the picture my deliver driver sent, he and another staff member checked a couple of the cameras and we were able to find my delivery (in a strange place!). If there was ever a thats not my job, it would be a leasing agent trying to find a misplaced food delivery, lol - but the folks at Centro were able to solve a problem that wasnt even theirs. I wish I got the names of the two staff members who helped me, because they were awesome!Aside from this above and beyond experience today, Ive been super happy living here so far. The communication about reopening amenities, standard maintenance checks, fire drills, etc. is timely. I feel safe living here. The amenities are amazing. The elevator is sometimes out, but if you let that ruin your day then Im sorry about your hard life lol. If thats the worst thing about the place, Id say its a pretty great place to live.Original review:I have toured over a dozen apartment complexes, and Centro has stood head and shoulders above them all! Applying to Centro Arlington has truly been an experience. The customer service I have experienced from day one dealing with Portia have truly been amazing and attentive. A lot of places have not been able to adapt in proper customer service with COVID-19 happening, but through the masks I have felt warm, welcomed, and embraced. If you want a team that will be professional, attentive, friendly, and prompt during these times I would suggest looking into Centro Arlington.

To start, this location is amazing! I am moving to Arlington trying to find a place to live and Centro Arlington staff has truly helpful during this process. The customer service I experienced was outstanding. To point out a specific person, Portia went above and beyond to make sure my questions and concerns were answered. With COVID-19 and flu season coming around the corner, I was truly impressed with the procedures that are implemented here. 5 stars for Centro Arlington!

I lived here for almost a year and I love it. Best apartment ever

Moved in this weekend and so far, I am in love! Management has been extremely helpful. We were greeted my Portia who showed us which elevators to use and where to get carts. Our community manager, Eddie, reserved a moving spot next to the elevator closest to our apartment. It was the easiest move ever for me!Our apartment faces the community fire-pit which is surrounded by beautiful landscaping. It is peaceful and quiet (couldnt hear any traffic). Although most of the amenities are closed due to COVID, they seem amazing and high quality. Cant wait to use them.We used the grills and ate on the rooftop. The community is friendly and welcoming. Im looking forward to my time at Centro.

Did not end up leasing here because I found a better deal. However, the customer service here is unmatched. Portia and Ashley helped me out with all my questions. Often times leasing offices act like you are bothering them during a tour. Top notch

Id like to preface this by saying the on-site team here is great and very helpful. The amenities are high-quality as well, hence the 3 stars.But as of writing this, I dont think all of the elevators have been simultaneously functioning in this building for more than an hour in my 3 months of living here. Theres even been a couple instances where ALL the elevators have been broken at the same time. Especially with Covid, waiting 5 minutes to share a jammed elevator cab is unacceptable.Additionally, while the walls dont transfer a lot of sound, the floors are preposterously thin. Be prepared to hear just about everything your upstairs neighbors do.All of that said, Centro is still a nice place to live. You just better like stairs.

Horrible experience with a lady that answered by the first name of Jackie! Please AVOID her because she WILL NOT HELP YOU. I only called because of their 4.6 star google rating and well let me tell you that went down the drain when she answered. I even told her that the reason I was calling was because of the 4.6 star rating/reviews and it didn’t even seem to phase her. She didn’t even respond to that and showed no emotion or care in the world. We are definitely gonna move on and I recommend to you the E-loft apartments in Alexandria and/or the Foundry also in Alexandria! They both have great people with Great people skills. I read on the reviews about a lady name Portia that works here at the Centro but unfortunately I got Jackie! Very unfortunate wow! Guess it’s better to find out how their true colors and how they treat you before you decide to move. The apartment I see here on the internet is a 2/2 junior and it still shows AVAILABLE and I repeated that twice and Jackie said, “well we have the up to date information!” Well update your webpage Jackie! I really hope management sees this post and does something about improving people skills and phone ethics amongst their employees. Remember avoid Jackie and ask for someone else honestly you are better off.

I toured here a couple times and I really fell in love with the leasing assistant Portia. The location is cool but the prices for a 2 bedroom were outrageous.I have never had such a great time touring and I was given so much info and great energy from Portia. I never leave reviews but I had to!!!

The location is great! Having a Harris Teeter steps away from home is heavenly and it has a Starbucks inside! Parking is plentiful and the amenities are great. They have Pelotons!What really sold me on this community was Portia. Her professionalism and energy could be felt through the phone. You can tell she really knows her building by the way she spoke about it. I really felt like she wanted to find my best fit on-site instead of just selling me on anything. Such a great experience coming to this property! This will be my first rental in the state of Virginia, (just relocated from Los Angeles) so I was very nervous about the process, but Portia made me feel so welcomed and valued! This apartment is beautiful with jaw dropping amenities. Portia is AMAZING! She gave me my initial tour and was so thorough and thoughtful. Out of the 8 apartments I have toured, Centro has made my decision an easy choice.

Beautiful new complex in the center of up and coming South Arlington. Great amenities, fitness center, pool, and dog friendly. Lots of open floor plans that are bright, airy, and come in a good set of price ranges. Cannot recommend Van Metre’s portfolio account manager, Jason Kennedy enough. He went above and beyond (calls, texts, after hours service) to find me my perfect new apartment. Thank you!

Please be aware that almost all the reviews written on here are about the people working in the leasing office, the convenience/location of the building, how nice it looks (as it should since its a new property), or their review after only living her for a weekend or month.The apartments are barely liveable because of the cheap and poor materials used to construct this building. The walls and floors are soooo thin! I hear everything from my neighbors upstairs and next door to me. I mean, hearing the persons next door conversation. And they are not even yelling or loud. Ive caught other residents fighting in the hallways about all the noise coming through. Also the garage is filty and makes your car dirty, elevator constantly broken, and more recently property management sent out an email about cracking in peoples apartment and having the construction company come out to repair. Again for a brand new building and the price, its extremely disappointing. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!

When I first read Google reviews of Centro Arlington I thought it must be too good to be true and they probably have some incentive program if you leave a positive review, you get a box of cookies or something. After now knowing that neither of that is true, I can truly say 5 stars so far! Nora helped my roommate and I and from day one...she was/is professional, personable, prompt in her response times, and is overall very helpful. Her boss should really give her a raise. And Im not talking like 5 cents and a good work, Im talking like another g or two a year...they really need to know what they have in her... maybe even a promotion, idk. And although she didnt directly work with us as Nora did, our interactions with Portia were just as pleasant. She is very eager to answer questions and you can just tell she cares about the residents. The only real issue I can think of (and its not a big deal at all, it was explained as a safety thing with makes sense to me) was that our stove wasnt powered on in the breaker when we first went to use it (at the time we didnt know what the issue was), I phoned in a work order, which was answered by Eddie, Ive never met him that I can recall, but he was super friendly, apologetic, and had a maintenance guy immediately come check it out. I didnt catch the maintenance guys name (tall black dude), but he was quick, friendly, and a cool dude. Overall I can genuinely say that my experience has been great!

The building itself is beautiful. I love my apartment and so far no complaints. I wish parking was included but its what you get living in Arlington. Ive already met some of my neighbors and they are nice. Im really happy so far and Nora and Portia are the nicest and most helpful ladies Ive ever worked with. Ive lived places where you pay top dollar and get rude service here is not the case. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

Centro is absolutely amazing. We signed our lease while the building was still under construction and have been pleased throughout the entire process. The customer service is outstanding, they consistently go above and beyond. Even with the building being new and a large group of residents moving in over the course of one weekend, any and all of our maintenance requests were tended to within an hour. If you see any of the team in the lobby or throughout the building, they will drop what theyre doing to assist you or find someone who can. Absolutely thrilled to live here!

Portia from Centro Arlington is the best! From the moment I first moved in, she was very welcoming and very nice. I knew when I saw her, she would be really nice and someone I can talk to. Although she wasn’t my leasing agent, Eddie was (and he’s great too) anytime I have a question she was very eager to help and answer. She is very relatable and I can talk to her about anything even other than. SHE IS AMAZING!!!!

Absolutely love living here! Eddie was my leasing consultant and from day one has been one of the best people Ive worked with when apartment searching. I signed my lease while it was still a construction site with no idea as to what it would actually turn out to be, and it has exceeded my expectations. Eddie was incredible in answering all my questions and keeping me in the loop with things. A lot of construction still but all good things in the works. Austin is super friendly as well and does a great job at making sure you are happy. You can tell they are trying to build a inclusive community instead of just a normal place to live

Living here is awesome! I made the best decision by moving in. I am so in love with the apartment, its closer to my job. Portia made sure everything went smoothly with my boyfriends move-in. Shes an angel.

My move in experience has simple been HORRID. I was promised by the manager that someone would be there to assist me with moving in after hours, but NO ONE answered the phone. I wasn’t given enough keys and I feel like I was thrown to the wolves. I am so scared to live here for 12 months if this is how they do the people who move in, Im terrified of what is to come. Lack of communication and lack of care at this community. They treat you like trash. Please wish me luck!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE.Update: it’s okay so far.

From the moment I walked in the door of Centro I was blown away. I was staying at WhyHotel which was located in Centro on the 4th floor at the time so I went downstairs where I was greeted by Portia one of the leasing consultants there. She took me over to a screen on the wall and showed me different apartments that were available. We then went to see the apartments and eventually she had me sold on moving there that same day. It has been a great place to live with great people. I would tell anyone to come in and take a look. You wont be dissapointed

After doing the tour of Centro Arlington, we knew it was it. We just moved in and we absolutely love the place, its beautiful! Our leasing consultant, Eddie Martinez, made the whole process super easy from start to finish. He answered all our questions and made sure we were taken care of. Definitely recommend this place!

Honestly, there are a lot of pros and cons...Cons (starting with the cons so we can end on a positive note):There have been hiccups including, but not limiting, mealworms in the elevator, fire drills (due to construction dust), AC units breaking, and a billing system that makes you want to keel over and scream.Pro: It is a beautiful place to live—the amenities are beautiful and clean. The convenience and location is great and safe.But, why am I writing this review? Because Eddie and Portia are patient and kind. They go above and beyond (weekends, weird hours, you name it) to go through any difficulties or frustrations you have to make sure you have a good experience. The people make or break housing—at least in my experience—but Portia and Eddie are truly amazing.

Quite honestly the BEST team of people you could ask for. Eddie was my initial leasing agent and he was extremely helpful with all of our questions pre and post move in. Austin is by far the greatest property manager in the game. He has literally driven to the building to help us out with apartment issues at 11:00pm. I mean, how many people can say that their buildings’ management team cares that much? Devon is an incredible service manager. He has been hands on with every apartment repair, literally offering to watch my apartment during a project so that I could find a quiet place to have a phone meeting in the building. Portia has been so warm, inviting, and welcoming every single time I’ve walked into the building. You really can’t ask for a better place to live.

The leasing team here at centro have been amazing! Eddie was me and my gf’s leasing consultant from day one and has been amazing to work with. Centro is the place to be! The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. I have been here since September and haven’t had an issue. If I ever have a question or need something Eddie is always there to assist. Centro has everything you need from a beautiful apartment to a gym filled with great equipment, pool, lounge and more. Portia sold this place for me! Ill be applying solely based upon her amazing presentation of the apartments. I am not too thrilled about the parking pricing :( However, the location is perfect for me.

So far I’ve had a great experience here since my roommate and I moved in a few months ago. We mostly worked with the leasing consultant Nora Nelson and she’s been a great resource. Before we signed the lease, she gave us a personal tour of the building, answered all of our questions clearly, and helped us carefully decide which unit was best for us. After we signed, she remained consistently helpful and made sure we were properly accommodated. I’ve also had positive experiences from Porsha and Ikea with day to day apartment logistics. Overall, the staff has been pretty friendly.As for the unit, I really like it because it’s very modern and new. With brand new appliances, it really gives the apartment a fresh feel. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

I LOVE LIVING HERE! My favorite part of living in Centro Arlington is waking up to building-wide fire alarms at 3am to stand in the cold rain, or the sporadic fire alarms throughout the workday, and the complete lack of response from management or any advance notice! These alarms blasting keep me on my toes, anxiously awake, and are like music to my ears. Bravo, Maestro Centro! Encore!Highly recommended if you hate sleeping, are hard of hearing, or love fire alarms!Id like to update my response after the property manager responded with a completely misleading statement. Portia went above and beyond when showing me the place. It feels like she really wants to help you whereas other places Ive seen act like you are a burden. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in the Arlington area. Ask for Portia!

I had a tour set up recently and they completely flaked, no reasoning or response. It has been a week now that Ive been calling a few times a day and still no response....it is absurd and completely unprofessional!!!

Definitely deserves all 5 stars (pre-leasing period). Austin, Nora, and Eddie were all extremely helpful with their fantastic customer service while touring the building. I was immediately greeted by Austin (the program manager) and donuts/coffee were available at 9am. The list could go on, but the team made it a no-brainer choice to make Arlington Centro my new home.

Ive been seeing this building while its been under construction and it looks phenomenal. I looked into their Instagram to see what is going on and I am not surprised to say that it looks great so far. Can;t wait to see when everything is completed.

I would definitely recommend anyone to look at leasing here.Im back to review my move in experience. Nora is hands-down the best and made everything so seamless and easy. She walked me through the apartment again and made sure everything fit my needs. The move in gifts are EVERYTHING!!!All of the staff at centro are amazing and knows all of their residents and always making sure things are going well. So glad i moved here!

THE FIRE ALARM HAS GONE OFF 3 TIMES IN THE PAST WEEK, AMONGST MANY TIMES THESE PAST FEW MONTHS SINCE OPENING. NONE OF WHICH HAVE BEEN AN EMERGENCY, SO THERE ARE CLEARLY KINKS IN THE SYSTEM, UNLESS THIS IS HAPPENING DELIBERATELY. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS.

This is such a beautiful place! Wardell recommended this place to me and told me to check it out. Its a gorgeous brand-new construction, and is essentially a smart home apartment complex. Might I add this fitness center is unmatched by any other places Ive seen in my life. Cant wait to move here!Thank you to Wardell and Eddie for helping me find my new home!---------Update: I understand the inconvenience of COVID19, but I have had trouble getting ahold of any staff from the office regarding my move-out. I moved out 6/16 and received no guidance on where to leave my keys/mail keys. I still have them in posession.I also received a few codes for Luxer One lockers for packages, but they didnt work, and Im missing a package as well.
