Highly recommended. The best in the area, tried few places. They were very nice and friendly and did a very good job with my nails. Dip powder lasted for three weeks.

Dian is amazing! I ask if she can do something and she creates the artistry. Colors are lilac and powder blue. I always leave very happy!

I have been coming to this nail place for over 10 years now. I have tried other places in between but the quality of the nails does not match Tinas. She does a very good job at securing them and sealing them so that they last a very long time. I have had Dip nails last me 4 weeks intact! Shes awesome at what she does.

I have refused to write Tina (the owner of tip nails) a review because I wanted her to be my little secret and not to share her... but its time to show everyone what an artist she is. I have been going to Tina since 2013 and I have remained extremely loyal because nobody does a job like her. I had to move to the city for 2 years and traveled back to AH just for her. Be prepared for a very detailed process, she makes sure every single thing is perfect. Plan on a lot of great conversations as well, Tina has a great warm personality and treats you like family the second you walk in. I haven’t been to Tip Bails since I was in high school, almost 11 years ago... yikes. But I used to be a loyal customer. I came back to Tip due to a nail emergency this weekend while visiting home from Colorado. Tina, the owner, was warm, inviting, and super efficient! She knows all of her customers names and makes the place feel like home, even after all these years. So happy I could make a visit and will always pick Tip whenever I’m back in town!

I have been going here for years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Manicures, acrylic, gel and dip have all been incredible. Tina and Cindy really take pride in their work and it absolutely shows with every visit! They make you feel right at home and welcome and make a wonderful experience. I see Lynse. She is fantastic! My no chip french mani literally does not chip or break for 6 weeks. I have been to every nail salan 2 towns over too. Never lasted this long. 3 weeks if I was lucky. She is nice and friendly. She pays attention to every little detail and does not rush. She takes her time and is very knowledgeable. She knows what she is doing. Enjoying my beautiful no chip mani. I will definitely be coming back.

I have been at this nail salon many times and find it so nice. The owner and nail tech actually are friendly and talk to you and remember you when you return. So different from other places that dont even look at you and dont talk to you. In addition, there was a new employee there today who gave me a stellar pedicure. Dont hesitate. Prices not the same as website. Hurried through because other people were waiting. Poor job. See pictures, this was after i left the shop. Couldnt have her correct because had to catch a flight. Last picture is 3 hours later, already chipped. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!

I absolutely adore this salon. Ive come here a little more than a couple times and every time my nails come out just the way I had envisioned to.. The staff is super sweet and the managing of this salon is on point. If you make an appointment prior to your arrival, the wait is almost non existent. They take you in within minutes. By far my favorite technician is Tina (I believe thats her name), she genuinely cares about how your nails turn out and I love a technician I can share a nice laugh with. 5+ stars if I could:-)

I had previously been told if I had any problems with my manicure to come back and they would fix it. Got a full set of acrylic nails yesterday and thought that they didn’t look good, but thought I would give it a day just to make sure. The following day I returned because the nails really did not look like a french manicure and I was not happy with the shape, my mom had previously made an appointment for me to come back to fix them. When I walked in there were only a few people there, and I was the only one waiting. After about 20 minutes, I was approached by the extremely rude owner who started yelling at me that the nails looking bad was my fault and that they didn’t have any time to fix my nails. HOWEVER, she would be willing to fix them if we paid extra. Meanwhile, they took four other girls who had walked in with no appointment. Extremely disappointed in their customer service. Started coming here because they were less expensive than my previous place, but it really goes to show that you pay more but get better service. Will never be returning.

THIS IS THE WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I am completely disappointed with my experience at Tip Nails. I went with a friend and both of our experiences were not good. To start my friend felt rushed to pick out her nail color as the woman doing her nails began filing them before she had the color picked out. The woman also didnt cut her nails, she just began filing, leaving them at an uneven length then applied the top coat. When she finished painting them, the woman left to work on another costumers feet and never came back. She yelled at her from across the room put her hands under the LED lamp, but that was it. (Which by the way, the lamps were very uncomfortably hot. I have gotten my nails done at another salon where a LED lamp was used and it was NOT hot or uncomfortable, but still got the job done). As for me, the gentleman doing my nails was very rough when using his nail to scratch off any polish that got on my finger and he left the polish completely jagged along my cuticles. Also, the polish I picked off their nail samples was not the color that came out of the bottle. I picked out a peach color and got a version of hot pink. He also proceeded to tell me how dry my hands were, how bad, my cuticles were, how short my nails were. Yes sir. I am aware. That is why Im here..During this process, they told us to rinse our hands at the sink. While at the sink, I was greeted with an oh so lovely COCKROACH looking right back at me from the cup next to the faucet!! When back in my chair a man from the city had come in to check on their licences and to look around. When he asked to see their license it was discovered that all of them were EXPIRED!! and he had to tell them to make sure they got them all updated. So to sum up, we were left feeling rushed, given half the services that were proposed on their website, greeted with a Cockroach, discovered they didnt have up to date business licences, and the paint job wasnt even good. Beyond displeased.

I shouldnt have even left a star this place is AWFUL. I went in for a polish change... first off no current colors to choose from finally find my color and they ask me to pay I go the polish change is 5 and the lady kept telling me no its 7 I went back and fourth that their pricing said otherwise. She did a half ass job ... after she did my nails she went back to eat I asked to get a nail fixed told me to get up and find the color. DO NOT RECOMMEND

My last experience was the worst because I had been growing my nails out for a long time now. I had the perfect length down. Well one last started filing my nails and another guy finished on the other hand, needless to say every single nail was basically different and I was so upset. He had to file them down super short in an attempt to make them even. And though I said I wanted them long in the first place nothing was said to me. I really just think Making an appointment with Tina is the best route here

The worst nail salon Ive been to. The owner rushed through my manicure. She was arrogant the whole time and the end result was just horrible. When I came the next day to fix it she gave me the attitude. Save your money and go somewhere else.

It was ok but my nails didnt look smooth when they were done and my cuticles werent trimmed very close. The place is a little hole in the wall and not very inviting. Wouldnt recommend it. You get what you pay for I guess...

I have been going to this place for a year now I got a no chip manicure on a Sunday and my polished was chipped on 3 nails within 24 hours. I went back to the shop to have them fix my nails and they told me I must be working too hard because my polished had chipped off and they have me problems about doing it over. Its a nail shop across the street from TIP nails and down the street. This was my last time getting their crappy ass service. Asians can be some mean ass non understanding English ass folks. Dont mean to sound racist towards asians but they look down on Americans as if their poor ass is any better but they come over here to our Country and tax the hell out of us with poor services. Never again !!!!!!!

I used to come to this place all the time as it is very close to my home. After my last experience, I will never go back nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone! I made an appointment for 330 and showed up at 335. I apologized for being late when I walked in but the owner kept saying we were waiting for you and made me feel very unwelcome. I offered to come in later in the week as I understand I was 5 mins late. They had me sit down and I asked for tips and no chip on top. I asked to have my nails filed round. The man who worked on my nails said he couldnt do it... you cant file my nails round but you work in a nail salon? Anyway, he rushed through my manicure and it looked absolutely horrible. I walked out and the next day went to passion nails in des plaines where service is excellent and they actually care about your nails. Will never be back and will make sure to send other guests to passion nails where you walk out satisfied and pay less!!

This place should receive 0 stars. I stopped going there after I realized how they half job anything and everything. All their nail polishes are cheap and old. My pedicures always chip within two days. The only reason I went back is because I got a gift card for Xmas. Got a half assed no-chip with old OPI polish that bubbled. The older woman who runs the shop, took zero accountablitly and continued to argue with me. Extremely unprofessional and dirty. Back an extra $5 and go to Toe Paradise. Never been disappointed with Toe Paradise. As a matter of fact, the staff at tip nails should spend a day at Toe Paradise and observes how to provide a proper manicure and pedicure and customer etiquette.

They did a good job on my toes. Although the one lady was a bit mean. The chairs are a little beat up,and the restrooms are dirty along with the back of the place is sketchy. I would go here again but not for my finger nails.

Everyone is friendly. The place is professional and clean. They put all of their equipment into the sanitizer microwave. Ive had different people work on me, and all of my mani-pedis have turned out great and lasted a long time. Good ventilation, lots of magazines, and a TV. What more could you want?
