I love this place and I have been there for about 3 times now. But I am giving 3 stars this time because the last manicure they did came off just within a week. I went there on Saturday 08/07 to get my nails done. All my no chip manicures are coming off since Friday 08/13. Usually that doesn’t happen but this time I am disappointed.

The salon was clean, & social distancing was happening. I was very happy about that. Kayli my nail tech, was friendly & to the time to help me decide on what to do with my nails. We chose a no chip French manicure. Im really glad we did. She did a wonderful job! I look forward to going back. Thank you, stay healthy everyone 🙂

Heather was a wonderful nail technician. She was very kind and considerate. She was also very knowledgeable and gave me some tips on how to prevent an issue I’ve been having with my nails. She did both my dip powder manicure and my pedicure wonderfully. I will definitely request her when I go back :)

I don’t remember her name because this was a couple weeks ago, however, she got me in and out quickly and did a great job. Did it comfortably quick without hurting me. The place is very clean and they are all very friendly. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the prices.

Kim is PHENOMENAL! She is super sweet, knowledgeable, and a great artist! I went in for an acrylic fill. I was not happy with my set and shape from a previous salon. Kim shaped them perfectly! My nails look AMAZING. I cannot sing her praise enough!

The service here is exceptional! This is the first nail shop that I’ve been to that’s on time for their appointments. The technician I go to is Annie and she’s phenomenal!

I have come to this place many different times. All the nail techs are very nice and super willing to work on designs I have asked for. The man at the front desk is extremely rude. I have read other reviews of people saying the same thing, and this company replies with extremely unprofessional responses. No business should be telling other customers “he’s rude because he is burnt out”. Lots of people work extremely long hours and are still have just an ounce of respect for customers.

Customer beware!! Had a 10am appointment for a no chip mani and regular pedi. Arrived 5 minutes before appointment. Put in tub to soak 15 minutes later, was told that my technician isn’t there and won’t be there till at least 10:30. The attitude was just “oh well”

Been here 2 times now, 2 different technicians. I think they do a great job! They are busy but always seem to accommodate everyone- they have a large staff. Nice, clean environment.

I came here on a whim and I am glad I did. I was able to make an appointment online which I really appreciate. Kim was my technician. I came in for an acrylic fill with no chip polish. I originally had coffin shaped nails. I wasn’t crazy about the original shape. She told me to trust her and I am glad I did. She shaped them so beautifully. She really did a good job and made sure each nail was perfect!

Clean and professional setting! The place is spotless. You have to wash your hands when you walk in, even if you’re only getting a pedicure. That definitely puts my mind at ease. Also, the appts are always timely, no being promised and sitting around waiting. Everyone is friendly. The owner Mike is pleasant and professional. Hong is the best. She’s professional, friendly, and genuinely cares about her customers. She does a great job on my nails, dip and pedicure.

My nails starting lifting before the 2 weeks. I spent 50$ on a new set and they are garbage! I have to get a new set. They were friendly but the service was not good. I was also done in 30mins when im usually at a salon for an hour or more

This is a great place to get your nails done. They are very clean they sanitize before and after they take you. I seen KIM she did a great job👍👍 she made me feel comfortable and was talking to me, very nice. She took her time on my 💅 nails and did exactly what I wanted EXCELLENT job. I WILL BE GOING BACK😁😊

I have been here 3 times already if I can give this place a 0 I would... the place is small and there are so many people in there during a pandemic it’s not safe at all. The guy at the front he’s so rude for no reason like i don’t know why he’s always so mad all the time lol then I got a no chip manicure it’s not that bad I don’t like to complain but for some reason the girl cut my nails wayyy too short but this place is not all that and is over priced for no reason

I gave it a 3 out of 5 because of the lady that did my nails(Annie). She was super rude and kept pushing me to buy more and more. I was originally going to get $35 acrylics without gel but she insisted I get gel since it lasts longer which I said ok. She then said I should get my eyebrows done because I needed the work on them. Very disappointed in the response.

I went today to get a no chip manicure with a design and Kim did a great job a little bit more expensive than my regular place that I need it to replace because its becoming hard to schedule an appointment but its worth it everyone was super friendly so Ill be coming back

So today I was feeling really bad and thought maybe if I get a new set of nails it would help me feel better. I suffer from severe depression so treating myself is always the go to when I’m feeling low. Today I decided to go here because of the amazing reviews I saw on google so I went. But it turned out to be One if my worst experiences ever at the nail salon. When I came in everyone seemed very kind and professional. The lady who did my nails was kind but I showed her a picture of nails that I wanted, she assured me that it wouldn’t look exactly the same but I still gave it a shot. In my nail inspiration pic, two nails needed the pink powder, but she put the pink powder on all of my nails. Which I never asked for and was never told it would be extra. After putting on the pink powder on all of my nails and filing them, she started the design my nails which was just a flame on the ringer and middle finger. She started on one nail she asked if I liked it before going any further and it did not look anything like the picture, not even close which was okay because I understand some people cannot free hand. So it wasn’t a big deal to me so I told her before continuing that I didn’t like it wanted something else because she couldn’t replicate the picture. I showed her other simple designs but The nail salon didn’t offer it or it was a lot extra for other designs. I realized that everything I wanted, she couldn’t provide so I politely asked how much would it cost just for the work she did and I could go somewhere else to finish and she said the price was $35 dollars!!! When all I needed was a fill which is $26. My nails had no polish on them and just the pink powder that was shear and could see old remaining polish that she took off that I never asked for. If they looked okay I wouldn’t make a big deal because I don’t want to cause any trouble, but they looked really bad. I also had two nails that were broken and she told me was fixing them for free, but when I went to pay she charged me for them. I was very confused because I didn’t know why this was happening. I was very polite and just wanted a simple design and i wasn’t rude. I even apologized even though I wasn’t in the wrong. I confronted her about the situation nicely and explained how I didn’t think it was fair I was being charged for something I Didn’t ask for. The guy at the front desk decided to chime in and help explain to me why I being charged so much. He was very rude when I just wanted to know what was going on. He instantly started talking to me with an attitude and I was confused about the pricing. I asked if it was $30 because I was confused about how much they were. he broke down the pricing to me slowly, you know when someone talking to you like a child or as if I was stupid. and he and the lady who did my nails laughed in my face when he was saying it slowly and I instantly felt so embarrassed and felt lower than I did going in. I just wanted to feel good and have my nails done but I left crying with nails that I didn’t want. I just wanted to feel better today. And they made my day much worse. I will never return here again

As a runner, I am always looking for a good pedicure to help restore my feet and this pedicure was exactly what I wanted and needed. She removed all the dead skin and got my feet feeling so soft. I will absolutely be coming back for another!

My first at L.Lovely Nails, and Kim did my acrylic nails. She did a fantastic job and I showed her a few pictures for what I was looking for, and she shaped them perfectly proportionate to my hand. If you need acrylics done and are a first timer getting acrylic nails done, Kim is perfect for you. Very gentle with tools, and very kind. Strongly recommended. ☺️

I booked an appointment for a mani/pedi. The man in the front is super rude! Gave me an attitude and rolled his eyes when I said I wanted a dip nail manicure. He said next time book at an earlier time! only giving a star to the nail tech. She was very professional and took her time.

Came in near closing, and they still accommodated me, that was nice. My nail tech did not cut my cuticles down and instead used a drill bit to file down my nails, and cut me. Left bleeding a little bit. Place was NOT clean. I could see and feel all days nail shavings at her station. Charged me an extra 5$ for no-chip. Manicure was already 45$? Really? The tech who asked me about no-chip did not tell me of the upcharge. Shady business practice. Would be 1 star, but my manicure is at least lasting long.

I made an appointment to get my nails done today at this place and had high hopes, the place is really clean and really nice staff but I got a full set with no chip and a little butterfly sticker on my ring finger, I got charged $70 and that to me is crazy because I’ve gone to a place where I have gotten done a full set with a lot of rhinestones and just nails that looked like they were worth at least $70 but they cost $50 or less and the shape was perfect and everything. The person who did my nails at this place just didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing and was even struggling to put the stickers on my nail and some of my nails are crooked. Not worth $70.

The first time I came here it wasnt the service and nail job I was expecting/hoping for. I called the manager/owner and she got me an appointment for the next day. I had low expectations at first but the lady who did my nails was amazing. She paid nice attention to everything about my nails and was very kind. She even changed the color for me and I appreciate that so much. I definitely would recommend going here. Amazing service.

I have been a customer of Lovely Nails for 17 years. I followed them from Mount Prospect to Arlington Heights. They have great staff and service. If there is ever a problem, they will make it right. In 17 years, I dont believe I have ever had a problem that was their fault. Ive messed up my nails by doing things before they were dry and they fixed them for me for free. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

Came here for the first time about a month ago. The first person who did my nails did a lovely job and they looked beautiful. I came in two weeks later for an acrylic fill and had one of the worst experiences. The person doing my nails was using the electric file to file down the acrylic, and gave me cuts on every finger. Was in pain for a week and had to wear bandaids on all my fingers! Nails looked nice, but not worth the pain. Will not be back.

I was looking for a nail salon and found them online. This is my second visit with Kim and she is awesome! She is very detailed and friendly. They are very clean and have a wonderful procedure in place with everything that is going on now. I am so happy I found them online and will continue to return.

L.Lovely is the best nail salon! I love how they have a 2-week no-chip/dip guarantee and will fix your nail if it chips within 2 weeks of your original appointment. Kim is my favorite technician and does an amazing job. She is so precise, always on time and such a sweet lady. Highly recommend her and the salon overall. Everyone is so nice and talented. I used to have stubs as nails but since going to L.Lovely I have nice long nails that I am proud of. Its the best, I refuse to go anywhere else but here!

I switched a few months ago to this salon. I absolutely love it. Kim and Bea do the best nails. Kim takes her time to make sure your nails are perfect and does what you want. They both do an amazing job. Bea always makes sure you get what you ask for with your nails.

I have been going to L. Lovely Nails for 5 + years. Constantly getting new colors and offer the latest nail trends. They are very friendly and accomodating. Very clean nail salon. They let you request appointments online and will call/text to confirm the appointment. I recommend making an appointment in advance. They do accept walk ins and let you know how long the wait will be.

I have been a customer here for 4 years now and it is the only salon I go to. The salon is clean and always has the newest colors and special services, i.e. cat eyes or dip powder, available. The technicians are all good at what they do. Some are even great! Long, Bee, Nomi and Kevin are all fantastic and take great care and pride in their work, always making sure their full sets, no chips, pedicures and/or waxes are top quality and, yes, I have gotten each of those services numerous times. They offer a full two week no-chip guarantee and, as long as you call in to make an appointment with the original tech, there is never an issue with the fulfillment of their guarantee. While appointments guarantee you a time slot and the technician you want, walk-ins are always welcome! When I call or come in, I am greeted by name and treated like family. I see several of the reviews note the owner as being rude or talking down to his staff... the truth is, he simply has a dry sense of humor and, once you learn that, you understand there is no malice intended on his part towards the staff nor the customers. I love L.Lovely Nails. I swear by L.Lovely Nails. Dont miss out on a good salon!

I sat there for an hour and a half and the girl i had made my nails navy blue not black. Also I got dip powder done and she made them very chunky and all different lengths. Also cut my nails with kids craft scissors. Usually it is a good service and a good outcome but this by far has been my worst visit. This girl has been here for a long time and I did not expect my nails to look like this. Contemplating on switching salons.

I moved to the area about 10 months ago and found this salon and Kim after trying many shops. Kim is the best! So knowledgeable about nails and helpful. Im one of those who cant ever decide what color and need help from my nail technician. Kim hasnt hesitated to help, and her work is flawless. She is officially my permanent technician to go to. I also like how everyone at the shop is professional .

Kim was wonderful, I asked specifically for a design and showed her a picture and she did it for me. I had the delux pedicure with Lavender and mani.

The service is great... The office manager Tammy is so friendly and also very efficient. The place is so clean and very sanitary conscious. Everything used is never reused. The price is not that bad, but what is a couple of dollars more when you are getting the utmost sanitary conditions possible. Ive never given reviews before, but I had to do it this time because I was blown away by the service I received.

First time going and it was big and bright inside which was nice. Had acrylics taken off then no chip manicure. Very nicely done but wish I could have had more input on the base color and shape of nails. want matte finish and designs so maybe try again and see how it goes. First time coming here.. I am from jersey & was visiting chicago.. i used google reviews to look for a nail salon near me. This one had the best reviews & best scenery. Lovely place, lovely staff, very clean, modern everything, reminded me of Tiffany’s. Recommend to any Illinois resident & out of state visitors. A little pricey but definitely worth it. Got a Gel pedi for 47$

So happy with the nail tech, Kim! Its hard to find a tech who has such attention to detail, paints close to the nail beds, and I can trust with my eyebrows.The salon is in a great neighborhood and so close to everything, you can get all your errands done. So glad to have found this place:)

I just recently switched nail salons and Im in love. From reception to the nail tech its always a great experience. My favorite though is Kim, my nail girl. She is an amazing person with a fun and great personality that can always make me laugh and brighten up my crazy days. Kim is always pleasant and the way she does my nails is not just great but amazing on how she makes the nail fit me in perfect shape that I could never get before. I love Kim and would never trade her for the world. Please give her a raise she deserves it!!! Will never change salons again unless you move in that case Im coming where Kim is always 😀🤗

Had my first visit today and it was probably one of my best manicure experiences yet. Staff is very attentive and professional. Nomi did a fantastic job with my nails and is very detail oriented. Facility is beautiful and clean. I will definitely be back and would refer this place to anyone looking for an above and beyond nail place.

Yesterday was my first time visiting Lovely Nails and I had my service done with Kim. Full set and Pedicure. She was wonderful. Very efficient and very sweet. I will come back to see Kim from now on.

I used to really like this nail place. Over all the customer service was good. The owner is a little bit arrogant and has a smart mouth with a little sarcasm. If I could give less then one star I would. So I came in to get a pedicure and a manicure. I got a deluxe pedicure which cost more then a regular one plus a new full set. So spending about a range of 100$ I got my pedicure done it was great. She sits me down and tells me to wait. When I thought she was doing my full set as well. She tells meTo wait a minute. So I’m sitting and waiting. I see other people being grabbed and going in front of me. They’re being serviced the one mother and daughter came in they both got a pedicure and manicure. I’m still sitting looking stupid. So I ask him what’s going on. I have been here a while and I’m not being helped at all. He said the one guy is finishing up he will be right with me. So I am still sitting and waiting. New people walk in and are being helped and i am still sitting. What kind of customer service is this honestly ???? Especially when I come here all the time and spend good money. The manager is just rude I won’t be coming back here anymore. Today was the last straw. I let things go but it’s just too much now. Work on your customer service.

I absolutely adore this salon. Ive come here a little more than a couple times and every time my nails come out just the way I had envisioned to. I love the two week policy where if a nail chips or anything, they can fix it for you within that two week grace period. The staff is super sweet and the managing of this salon is on point. If you make an appointment prior to your arrival, the wait is almost non existent. They take you in within minutes. By far my favorite technician is Linzie (I believe thats her name), she genuinely cares about how your nails turn out and I love a technician I can share a nice laugh with. 5+ stars if I could!! :)

I wish i could give a rating lower than one star! I went there for the FIRST TIME and the woman who did my nails TAMMY did a terrible job. She RUINED my bales and cuticles. She made 6/10 nails bleed. 2 of which are infected now, and all she could say was “they get better, you no worry. They get better”. I got acrylic nails and it is starting to peel off on the edges only TWO days after application... this is also No chip! I’ve never had a problem with no chip before! They are uneven and bumpy and crooked with dust and specks in the polish. She also rushed me. The only positive side behind this is the lady at the front desk was kind and polite. I will never come to llovely nails again, there are many better places to spend the money and get a good service. I definitely do NOT recommend getting your nails done here!

Kim starting doing my nails when she saved the day on my birthday when I went somewhere else and needed help fixing what the other place had done. Kim redid my nails and they were perfect. She has so much pride in her work it shows. I have gone back to her over and over. She does them with perfection every time. And I am extremely particular about my nails. Kim is fantastic!!!!!

Long has been doing my nails for about 1.5 years. I’ve been getting acrylics for decades. Long does a great job! Not to thick, not to thin and a nice smooth transition by the cuticle.

Kim is an excellent technician. I love that this place is run like a professional business and is up with technology (booking on line, etc.). However, the person that schedules appointments should be more conscientious of time frames. This is the second time I had to wait more than a few minutes for my person. First time was 30 minutes, 2nd was 17 minutes. My time is also valuable. Considering I observed the front desk person turn away a customer, in a very nasty fashion, for being 10 minutes late, the front desk person should practice what he preaches. You should have heard him rag on her. Not nice!So I think the owner read my review because instead of owning up to his mistakes in his attitude, he banned me from getting my nails done here, which I could care less about. However, please everyone beware of this place, this is somewhat odd behavior. I wouldnt want anyone to be in harms way. I have to admit this behavior made me nervous. Who acts like that! I should have reported this unprofessional behavior to the Village, but due to Covid striking, its now not worth my time or energy.

Most important the powder dip only lasted 2 weeks where other salons have lasted much longer. The nail people are pretty good but the owner is an unfriendly man which I consider unprofessional maybe he’s an unhappyPerson and it’s none of my business but I actually considered not going back bcuz of him

The salon is very clean and all the technicians are great. Walk-ins are always welcome but you can make an appointment with anyone you like. If anything is wrong, they will always work to correct it. The prices are competitive with salons in the area. Highly recommend!!

Ive been coming here for about a year now, and while Ive always had a nice experience, I had my first session with Kim a few days ago, and she was by far - the best! She went above and beyond! Not only is she super sweet, she did a fantastic job!! At one point, she apologized to me for a co-worker speaking to her and not speaking in English, which has never happened to me before in any of my nail experiences over the years. While I didnt mind at all that she was talking to her co-worker, it was nice of her to acknowledge the situation and say that she just wanted to focus on me, which made me feel valued. She ended our session with a nice long hand massage, which actually really helped with a pain i was having in my thumb! The pain has been gone since my massage! She also finished the massage with a hot towel wrap on my hands. Needless to say, I will be seeing Kim from now on. If youre currently a client at the salon or looking for a new place to go, I highly recommend seeing Kim!

I have been a customer here for over 12 years. For most of those years Cindy has been doing a great job with my pink and whites and tricky toe nails. She is excellent at what she does. I also love the massage chairs and TVs.
