Always love their hairstylists. They did a great cut and follow the COVID19 guidelines. Felt really safe and now I look good too.

Big fan of the Barber Shop, its very easy to get in. They are reasonably priced, and all of the hair stylist are very friendly.

Hair cut was good barber was friendly but didnt no the line up on face and beard front center of beard had a chunk cut tonight in the center that I had to fix myself when I got home

Took my 2-year-old son to get his haircut, Ashley did an amazing job, now hes really looking sharp. Highly recommend. Didnt take a long time which was nice especially because you didnt feel rushed or anything

Prices get higher, quality gets worse. They rush through everything. Found out from a former employee that each stylist gets a half hour time limit with each customer. They shouldnt offer services like beard trims, shampooing, & a massage if they only have 30 mins to do so.

No area to wait with kids, closed for no reason, and requiring masks. I’m vaccinated, my kids have to be tested just to go to school, and yet this business is still requiring a mask when the CDC says we no longer have to. This family is over it. We won’t be coming back until this business is “up to the times” and joins reality.

Walked in, was greeted by two younger gentlemen in rapper clothing and a girl. It was not busy. They asked what they can do for me today, I said I had a hair appointment now (I was 2 minutes early). They said OK. The 3 of them then just kinda looked at me and back at eachother a few times before I awkwardly went to sit down. As soon as I hit the seat 5 feet away, The girl announced that one of the men was ready for me. I walked back with the gentlemen and he asked what can he do for me today. I said just the same thing as always. He had no idea what I was talking about. I told him there is notes in the computer. He went back and checked, then came back and said there is nothing. At this point I was feeling really uncomfortable about the idea of an inexperienced man (he looked no older than 18) cutting my long shaggy hair and giving me, a straight male, a shoulder massage and hair shampooing. I had to cancel. After talking to several people, I learned I am the Ahole for not wanting a man to give me a haircut, and not letting someone get more experience (they gotta start somewhere, I understand that) so I am not going to say its a bad place to go for haircuts, just that if you are like me, you will need to just ask for a female stylist and wait for one to be available

Would definitely recommend this to friends. You get so much for the price you pay. Private hair station, own TV, warm towel, shampoo, and shoulder/back massage. Kim P took the time to get to know me and what I wanted in a hair cut. From what I heard from other stylists, they were all very personal as well! Great place.

Really enjoyed going here. They were about 5 min late for an appointment I shredded the day before but other than that, I really enjoyed the last that cut my hair and trimmed my beard. And she did a superb job with that. Not to many people can give me a good haircut but she did. Will recommend thing place.

The Barbershop is a very good place to go if you like no drama, friendly people that work around your schedule, great service, and family friendly!! They have many customers and still seem to find time for me because of my job and hours I work I cant always make an appointment. I However, call if Im going to be late and also think that the prices are more than fair for the amazing haircut I receive from Ashley M., My grandmother owned a beauty parlor and my father was a barber that served so I know a great place and good people when I see them. The receptionist is nothing but helpful as well.

This places blew my mind. I was visiting from out of State and decided to get a haircut. I went here and it was haircut at another level. I received a shampoo with a scalp and temple massage, while having a hot towel over my face, that was fantastic, but at the end of my haircut I did not expect this, I was asked if I would like a shoulder massage, A Shoulder Massage? I will probably experience this in my hometown. Great place!

How can you be shown a picture of what the cut should look like and then go do something completely different. I’m not angry at them I just genuinely don’t understand how a barber cannot handle something as simple as that.

Always an amazing experience. I have been getting my haircut by Sherri now for months. She is always professional and does a great job. She also gives the best scalp massage I have ever experienced. The added bonus, she is fun to talk to and always make me laugh and have fun for an enjoyable experience. I have had a few stylists previously but once I had her, there was no trying anyone else. We’ve tried this place at least five times and I’ve never had good service. Everyone is SO grumpy and SO impatient with my very well behaved three year old.

I took my son to have a razor cut done done by Sheri Fischer. She did an amazing job. Clean lines. Perfect fade job. Loved it. Not only was I happy but so was my son. Amazing job well done.

I have taken my son to Aubree Wenzel for many haircuts. She does an incredible job. She keeps him calm and still all while providing a clean cut. I have never been disappointed. She also does my husbands hair and he likes to go back to her every time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I have been going to Lori at the Darboy location for 12 years now and wouldnt change a thing. I always get the best service, friendliness and great conversation a great price and know exactly that I will receive the same fantastic service every time. Ive even been known to fall asleep when she is washing my hair! I have recommended this place on many occasions but not just because of Lori but several times our schedules dont match so I will see Ashley W. or on the few times that neither are available I will just do a walk-In but still get the same great service. I highly recommend trying out The Barbershop!

I have since been here and was extremely pleased. Great staff, clean shop and fantastic service. I recently came into The Barbershop on the recommendation of my boyfriend. I was a little nervous at first, as I came in to get a haircut that is a little more modern than what I normally try. Luckily, April was there to help me out. Her expertise and attentiveness helped me get a cut that was new, but still very much me. Bonus points for helping me decide on the right styling product for my new look. Two thumbs up!

I am from Illinois and i needed to get a haircut at a place that was good. Thank goodness for google searches of haircut place near me. Because this place is amazing. Not expensive, the stylist was professional, the job was well done, and there was little to no wait! I wish more places offered to wash your hair. Businesses need to understand that customers have other things to do and they dont want to be covered in hair throughout the day.

I started going to the barbershop because the price of a haircut at my previous place was getting to be too much. When I heard that I could get a cut, shampoo/condition, hot towel and back massage all for $15 I figured I had to try it. So I went to the barbershop because of the price, I stayed at the barbershop because of Sheri. Shes easy to talk to and gives great (and honest) opinions on hair styles. And the shampoo/condition/scalp massage is to die for. Hands down my favorite part. I dont go anywhere else. Thanks Sheri!

If your looking to get your hair simply cut than it ain’t bad but if you have any specific directions well, you’d be better off going some place else. I’ve asked to women working there for SPECIFIC directions on what I wanted and I was just simply IGNORED. Telling the barbers you want to keep your hair long is like talking to a brick wall. As all they ever do no matter how specific the direction, your hair will still be short.

Abby did a great job cutting my hair. I’ve always had good luck with any of the girls who have cut my hair. This is the only place that I will go to.

This was the worst experience I have ever had getting my hair cut. Emily was in a very poor mood from when she called my name. She was in a huge hurry to finish my haircut, asking if I really wanted my hair washed after the cut. I said I guess not if you don’t need to in order to make sure it’s even. She only said 3 things to me the whole time I was in the chair. I had to ask her name because she never introduced herself. I will never go back to this location because of her. My son was taken back for his cut 10 minutes before me and April did a great job on his hair. He was finished about 5 minutes after I was also. I also did not get the hot towel on my face or the neck/shoulder massage. April is the only reason I left 2 stars.

My son goes to the Darboy location all the time, and they are great! He usually sees Lori and she is always terrific! She has a wonderful personality to go with her good haircuts. Its always a highlight of his week, to go here. Great, pleasant place!

Randi at the west hill Blvd location did a fantastic job when l came in for a hair cut. I wasnt sure of what I wanted but I knew I wanted a fresh new look. Leaving this review on behalf of my husband,(LADIES BRING YOUR MAN). We called and they got him in a chair in less than 20 minutes, it took us 10 to get there, 5 to wait. He has been a shave all your hair off yourself guy for 6 years, and I got him to grow it out and get it cut on our wedding day two months ago. Since then we have had an alright cut and a horrible cut. He grew it for a month and we finally found the place Im sure hell visit for years to come. Maria is the best, she left him with a perfect in-style cut with a fade that was well blended. He said she also washed his hair, and styled it. He got all that done and walked out with affordable product for under $30. What a steal. Thank you Maria! You left my husband looking dapper.

There is only one place in the state you need to go to for the freshest haircuts. Trista Zahn will always hook you up with best cuts in record time. I cant wait for my hair to grow back just to go back there again. I always walk out with an awesome haircut leaving me feeling crispy and ready to tackle the world!!!

Just like the location on the north side of Appleton, it’s hit or miss if you’re a walk-in. You could get a very good barber/stylist or get one fresh out of beauty school that has no idea what they’re doing. Once you find a barber/stylist that you like try to stick with them or risk getting a bad haircut. Also “The Barbershop” has a lot of staff turnover so the barber/stylist you like might not be there very long.

My 2 sons and husband have been going to Appleton West Barber shop to Lisa S. for years now and she does a terrific job! She is amazing with my kids who are not always the most cooperative! Lisa always remembers the way my husband likes his hair cut!! love her, shes the best !!

Great haircut. I will always wish they return to $10 haircuts but one cant change the economy. This location is great. I can always get an appointment within my 30min request. This is the complete opposite of the Neenah location where it seems they are always busy and can never get an appointment so I stopped going to Neenah and go here instead. Great staff. Great location.

I’ve gone to this barbershop maybe 6 times. The first few as a walk in, the last couple I called ahead for an appointment. Last time I arrived 10 minutes early and waited 20 minutes. I feel like 10 minutes past appointment time is pretty long. I called ahead again, arrived 5 minutes before my appointment, waited 20 minutes, watched two walk-ins get hair cuts and then walked out.

Nice to go to a salon where the people really know mens grooming. Workers are super friendly!

Cheri is my go to stylist: friendly, professional, great attention to detail, and consistently delivers the look I want (even when I cant explain it correctly).

Arrived for a walk in and the next avail appt was 2 hours from then.. which was understandable. Arrived 3 minutes late for the appointment and it was given away and were told to come back in an hour. I understand its their policy, but it could be as much as getting stuck at a red light... took our business to Mens Hair House and happy we did!

Always excellent and friendly service here. I have had several stylists over the years, but now I have the one that I’m definitely sticking with. Shannon Schoen never disappoints! Fully satisfied with the entire experience.

We love going here but only if Sarah Roman is working! I always call and make sure we get her she is the best we have never been unhappy with anything she has done! I have been going to her for years and will continue to do so. If you go make sure to request her you will be glad you did!

Ive been going to Lisa for several years at the Westhill location, she not only a great stylist, but a wonderful young lady. Over the years we have become good friends. Sarah Roman is the best there is and believe me, in over 4 decades, I’ve found none better. I’ve had my hair not only saved by her in the past (I thought I’d have to shave it down and start over - thankfully I didn’t) and she does exactly what you ask her to do, concerning how you want it cut. And if you’re not sure, her suggestions are the best. If you go, ask for Sarah Roman!! 5 stars!!

Sytlist Sarah is the best. She has done my husbands hair for years ~ somehow hell sit still for her 😉 Then once when my own stylist couldnt squeeze me in for a cut and I had a job interview ~ I went to her. Even though they definitely cater to guys I felt welcomed, comfortable and at ease. Peanuts for snacking, TVs in each station, and very reasonable pricing. As a Cosmotoligist myself ~ I appreciate the skills and efficiency with which she/Sarah helped me feel confident and by the way I GOT the JOB! 😄
