Patricia was fabulous with caring for my visiting 86yr old mom and shampooed and & styled her hair exactly the way mom likes it done with not ever serving her before!!! The salon is well lit, clean and convenient to my home. We will use Patricia again before I return my parents to their home 365 miles away! Thank you Patricia!!!

I asked for my hair cut a little below my shoulders. The lady said she understood then proceeded to cut it way shorter than I had asked, about a centimeter above my shoulders. She then cut it uneven and had to go even shorter, my hair now just barely goes past my ears. This is not at all what I had asked for and I am so upset and disappointed.

I am not thrilled at all with the service today. My haircut is even, however I was charged $20 extra to straighten my already dry hair. Not to mention both straighteners were broken and she even mentioned that it wasn’t working right. Then the manager tried to rush her and stated that there were more customers coming in. While I understand that, I don’t appreciate being rushed.. I left the store with frizzy hair and paid $20 extra for it. Extremely disappointed with “basic style” today. I do not think I will be back which is disappointing because I liked my stylist Maria and her techniques with my actual hair cut.

Workers here are super rude and there online booking isn’t accurate. Your best bet is to call the store since they are always booked even though appointments are available online

Standard strip mall hair salon with tanning in the back. Nothing extraordinarily about the place. Friendly staff, clean and well organized. Price reflects quality of service.I would go here for a quick and simple hair cut for kids and men.

I made an appointment last night (2/7/20) per their website. This morning they cancelled my appointment by email and didnt call me approximately 3 hours before my scheduled time.Traveled an hour to go there. Terrible customer service! Ignorant! No call even but by email. Guess they dont need the revenue! Deserve no stars.

Got in with no problem and no line. I asked to have an inch off my hair because of split and frayed ends. I also asked for my bangs to be cut to just above my eyebrows. The hair dresser cut my bangs to where they almost look like a v shape. Extremely short on one side and not at all even. Thankfully, my hair grows out fast so I should be able to fix it myself in about a week, but it does not look professionally done at all. Wish I could provide a picture to display the disaster that is my bangs. Most likely won’t return.

Mai has no personality on the verge of just being a miserable person. The older lady needs to retire. She’s friendly enough but doesn’t know what she’s doing. We made an appt and they took someone back who came in after us because he is obviously a regular with the way he knew everyone’s names. So here we sit. Tried to give this place another try but never again. The Cost Cutters in the mall is a lot better. If it’s cheap, you will get cheap. Pay a few dollars more and just stay away from Cost Cutters in general.

I got my brows done here and I loved it! Very clean place! Amazing stylists! I had the NICEST lady!She made sure I was comfortable, and was happy with my brows!

I chose this place specifically for amenities I needed after a hip replacement I came into town for. In short, for a more upscale boutique hotel, it did not meet my expectations. When I stepped into the room, it was cold. Okay. This happens, but the temp in this room was 54. There is no grounds maintenance so the desk clerk came up and set the thermostat. While waiting for it to warm up, I went to the restaurant where I ordered a glass of wine and a bowl of baked onion soup. It came so cold that the cheese lay on top unmelted and you could stick your finger in all the way to the bottom. The second one arrived warmer, but not hot at all. Not even enough for the cheese to be melted, and when I went to eat it, there was no broth. It was more like a stew, but basically turned into a glump of inedible paste. I didnt finish it nor did I nor would I ask for yet another replacement done right. I had planned on using their restaurant services throughout my stay, but did not after that experience. So afterward (now nearly 9 PM), I went back to my room to find the temperature increased to 55 degrees. With that, I had to ask for another room. Because I booked a larger king room, they didnt have a replacement, so they were kind enough to put me in a suite. The suite was handicap accessible so it did accommodate my wheelchair after surgery. However, the shower design was horrible. The curtain wasnt long enough to reach the shallow floor tray, and because the shower wand was on the back wall facing the curtain, I got out to step on the wonderful bath mat, but it was underwater in my flooded bathroom. I told them about it at the front desk before I left for surgery, and when I returned, it was cleaned up, but no new bath mat left. The positives were that the staff tried to make things right by providing extra coffee and towels, and I enjoyed the fitness center. However, I could have stayed at the Raddison for much less and had the same amenities, closer to the surgical center. What I thought would be a pampering experience was more complaining and correcting than I cared to do on any trip, much less one I really needed to go smoothly for the purpose of it.

Dont go there if Trisha is working . She messed up my sons hair . And on top of that she made my daughter cry . She literally yelled at her and told her to move and go stand by the door . Mia is the one you want to see shes professional towards her customers. This Trisha woman needs to learn from mia . If you cant work with kids then find another job . My daughter was crying for almost 2 hrs after she got home because of the way trisha treated her

I have been to multiple salons to have my hair cut and styled and have paid in the upwards of $30 + Not only is this particular Cost Cutters half the price but they also do a better job than any of the other salons I have been to. If you ever get the chance to go here Mao and Kelli are both amazing and I would highly recommend them both!

They dont even know their own hours. Everything everywhere says theyre open until 8 PM. I check in on line and when I show up 5 minutes before my appointment, they say they close at 6 PM and wont honor the appointment Drove there for nothing. Best think you can do is avoid this crappy place.

The lady did a good job and was exactly what I wanted. I only had to wait for about 5 minutes. My only complaint would be that the first scissor she used to cut my bangs was dull and didnt cut well. She used a different scissors in the end and my bangs look good.

Ive been going to this location for many years now and Ive never had a single issue with it. There was one time when one of the ladies was new and it took her a while to cut my hair but the end result still looked good and now two years later its nice to see how much shes improved! :)

Was told there would be a 2 hour wait for a haircut. There were two stylist present, only one cutting hair and no one else in the building waiting for a cut. How is there a wait when no one else is physically there?! I asked if they do appointments​, they told me no. So please explain how there is a two hour wait when you dont do appointments and one stylist isnt even cutting hair and NO ONE is in the building​ waiting? Absolutely ridiculous. Drove down the road and got in right away.

Went there to get a quick clean up on the brows. Right when I walked it the ladie that did my brows was to busy talking to a friend to help me. When she was starting I layed back and she not only spit on me but she messed up the whole thing. I have a very simple shape just wanted a clean up she took it all off I don’t know if it will ever grow back.

Will never go back there again.

Made an appointment for 5:30. Didnt get into the chair about 6:00. Three employees were on staff. Two were with clients and one didnt even have no clients at this time and didnt even take time out to take care of us! I usually come here but after today, I might find somewhere else to get my business.

I am always please with the service I get when go to the Cost Cutters on Calumet. All the girls are so friendly and they do a great job.

Usual place to get haircut, glad to see they have enough staff for Sunday hours.

I called ahead asking for an appointment and Im told it would be 10-15 minutes. I get there writhing 8. She says it will take about another 10-15 minutes because they had a walk in. It took over 25 minutes. The lady goes in the back to check her email- doesnt say a word to me. I have stuff to do- I just needed a small trim. I ended up walking out. Horrible service.
