By far the most comprehensive inspection I have ever paid for.For once in my life I dont feel like they lazily checked over everything. I received a Nice easy to read list of things wrong, what i should do first, etc. Mark- at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and best of all funny. Good guy, tried breaking down everything in nice easily understood ways,

Mark was great when it came to setting up the appointment and very helpful in determining which tire was best for me. Matt was very friendly. Let me know about other issues on my car but never felt pressured to for it now. He helped make a long hour very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend these guys for any car needs.

We recently had break work done on our car. When it was finished we went and picked it up. A couple hours later we heard a noise. Then a grinding from the front. As we got closer to home it got worse. Now we were traveling on interstate 41 by Appleton. So we pulled off on Richmond Street exit. We live not to far. But there is a service center right there. So we pulled in. The technician took the tire off and was shocked. The break caliper was never bolted back on. Gouged the inside of our rim. They repaired it. So. When van zeelands opened on Monday we went back. Told him the issue we had. He said oh man. And he will call his manager and get back to me. Well he did. He said they would pay for the two bolts that had to be put in. Van zeelands charged us $500 labor to do a job that was not completed. We have gotten tires and oil changes there before. Never again

Do not and I mean do not take your vehicle here. I took a tire in with a small hole. They told me they could not repair the hole and attempted to have me buy a tire from them. I knew the tire was repairable so went to get it to actually do it myself. When I got there they took the tire off the rim and refused to put it back on. So I repaired the tire and had to pay someone else to put the tire back on and rebalance it. And guess what, the tire is fine and not leaking. Avoided a scam from Van Zeelands.

We were on our way through Appleton heading out in a week long overlanding trip and needed to have our new spare tire mounted on a freshly powder-coated wheel. Matt took great care of us and enjoyed chatting Jeeps and tire choices while we mounted the set on the back of our Jeep.They were quick, reasonably priced and very courteous and respectful. Not always the norm as a woman walking into an auto shop, so it was noticed and very much appreciated.

DO NOT go here! I was a first time customer. They tried up charging me on so many things that were unnecessary. As a front line worker during this pandemic, they saw this opportunity to take advantage of this situation. I went in for an oil change, and they came back saying that I needed $2,000 worth of work. My brake lines had some rust on, so they wanted to replace them. This was just the tip of the iceberg as I waited for my car to get done. CONSUMER BEWARE.!!

Called and scheduled a routine oil change / tire rotation. Was happy because I used to go to their Menasha location and had great service and this place is walking distance and they were open on Saturday’s. Received a call saying I had a stripped oil pan drain plug and that it would be around $500. So I walked to the shop to get this figured out. Once I got there I asked about more details and was told I was leaking oil and it was all over the bottom of my pan. I asked how did it happen and they blamed the previous shop. Well I had 0 oil spots in my driveway or garage, and I changed my oil for the past year so I know it wasn’t stripped. (The only reason I went to the shop this time is because I was due for a tire rotation and I for what they cost I’d rather just pay for a rotation instead of doing it myself). I was frustrated and skeptical so I wanted to see it for myself because I still was shocked, and when I asked to have it lifted up to see I was told that I’ve been changing my own oil for the past year I can go home and lift it up myself in my driveway... Any chance of having them work on my car went down the drain after that response and will never be back to any of the locations.

They were able to fix my tire same day. Quick service, great price, and Even through the tire right on. Will definitely go back to them in the future!

They wouldn’t help me when I had a flat tire and they were very rude. They had nobody working, and couldn’t even tell me what to do in the bad situation I was in.

I accidentally called the Menasha Office to schedule a very minor repair around the lunch hour, but meant to get ahold of this office. Despite the mix up, the staff here found time to help me even though most mechanics were at lunch. This accommodation and care for their customers is greatly appreciated!

They are always honest, reasonably priced, and do great work. I tried a number of different shops until finding Van Zeelands and now will not go anywhere else. You can trust these guys to do great work at a fair price.

Bought three tires and had them install a new full size spare for the fourth. Didnt even inflate the one I didnt purchase. Under 20 psi after installation. When purchasing almost 500 dollars in tires you wouldnt expect to have to ask for them to inflate all 4.

Van Zeelands on Northland provides me with BY FAR the best automotive service Ive ever had in my life. Todd and Jessie call me by name, explain the details of every issue to me, and my bill is consistently less than what I expect to pay. Im not exactly a Mr. Fix-it, so knowing I can take my car to get worked on without the fear getting taken advantage of means a lot to me. I wish I could give the place 6 stars.

Tire with slow leak, found a nail but would not repair because stop leak used in tire. Normally a nail can be pulled out and a tubeless tire seal pushed back in, DONE. For some reason they pulled the tire off, then refused to put it back on for Liability reasons? They definitly are good at taking a 20 dollar repair and turning it into a 230.00 tire. Bravo!

Went in for a scheduled oil change and rotation. They had 2 techs out and were behind. Manager on duty worked his butt off getting in replacement techs and accomadating customers. Nice job guys!

Have taken my car to VanZeelands many times for oil changes and repairs. Great staff and quality work. Anytime I need an oil change or to have my car checked out I take it to VanZeelands.

Ive been a customer at Van Zeelands for years. Always had a good experience until about a year or so ago when the service really went down hill. My last experience really took the cake. I had bought my tires there and I had a flat. They advertise free flat repair, to I took the tire in to get it repaired. When they called me and told me the tire was done, I drove the care with the spare tire there; hoping they would put the tire on; since I broke my cheap tire iron while trying to get the tire off and actually had to call roadside assistance. Well, when I asked them if they could put my tire on they told me they were too busy. Really? Too busy? I drove a half block to Tuffy Auto care where they put my tire on free of charge. Maybe Van Zeelands was too busy; just like the time they ripped the mirror off of my truck.

I called the guy answering the phone hung up twice, I had a tire I just needed the bead set on he said no time until Monday, this was at 9am and itTakes about 30 seconds to bead it up, drove over to tries plus they did it free of charge while I waited the 2 minutes in the waiting room.
