The manager at this store, Shaun Lohry was amazing! I needed new tires and an alignment done last minute and they gave me a great deal on everything. They went above and beyond and their customer service was one of the best I’ve seen. Definitely check them out!!

Shaun has always been professional and told me what I needed to have done immediately and what could wait till funds were better. Prices are always fair and the work is always quality. Dont really go anywhere else.

The manager was rude and let it be know he did not want to work on a carvana car warranty and I had made a 2pm appointment today because of something they did wrong after fixing my blinkers. My center console wasnt working. He turned me away and wanted me to return another day because he said he had no mechanic to work on it. Yet there were 2 there today plus himself and yesterday only 1 plus himself.I then drove to Anyone Rides on WI Avenue in Appleton,WI and they had my console fixed in less than 2 minutes and showed me what and where the problem was. My car didnt even need to go into the shop. ANYONE RIDES had the problem fixed in less than 2 minutes!I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO CARX ON WI AVENUE IN APPLETON, WI EVER AGAIN!

Thought I would give them a shot as it was easy to book an oil change online. Got there and was told I did not have an appointment. I selected preferred contact as my phone for contact and the guys says, we emailed you did you not get? Nope.... “Yeah we have been having issues with our emails.... So you know your email system is broke? The person selects phone as primary contact and you still email through a broken system?? Thanks for wasting my time and if appearance of your business matters at all, this place indicates it is almost out of business, trashy looking business. I recommend to stay away.

Cant turn down a 19.99 oil change and tire roation, also got my transmission fluid changed here on my rav4. No pushy sales for anything visit was fast and hassle free andy and his team were good.

The manager Sean helped me the best they could and even though they couldnt solve the problem the day of they took the time to set up a more experienced person to come in and take a look at the problem with in a decent amount of time. All of the staff are very friendly to me and one another as well.

I had gotten a quote from another place telling me I needed 4 new tires, all new brakes, rear coil was broke and several other misc things. They quoted $4,700 to get my car back to road ready. Someone recommended Shaun at Car-X, I went in, he checked my car over and when all was said and done, I paid a little over $1,000. I needed new tires and just my front breaks replaced. Shaun was helpful and honest with me. I would highly recommend Car-X. 😀

No one ever have done anything like that for me, specially a business. They are very honest and fair. I will definitely go back, but next time with my debit card 😊

They got us in quickly at a time that worked for us. Fixed they tire and advised us on what needed to be done to repair the car. They told us it wasnt a safety issue but something that would make the ride better. no pressure and no selling repairs that you really dont need. While sitting in the waiting room another customer said he only brings his car to Car RX because of the trust factor. Thank you for being honest and trustworthy!

First time here. Came in for a oil change, tire rotation, and to break loose the transmission drain plug. When car was delivered to me I observed that the tire rotation had not been done which I could tell because one of my tires had been replaced and was a different model and was still in the same location. The next day I determined that the transmission drain plug had also not been broken free. I wont be returning to this place.

I’ve had the following services without issue or need to return: Trans flush, differential & transfer case fluids, wheel bearing, & oil change. My truck is in tip top shape. I was advised of possible future repairs with no pressure to get them done today. They’ve always been able to fit me in even on same day requests and the service was completed on time. I first went here a year ago to get my tires done and I never thought Id be happier with the service and price! To my joy and surprise, these wonderful people managed to blow me away even more when I took my car in yesterday, thinking there was an issue with my coolant.Within the hour, everything was checked out top to bottom and turned out to be a sensor issue. While they were looking, the exact fuse was found that could fix my power steering system. I have not had power steering on my 15 year old car in about 3 years and everyone I took it to before offered me $700-1000 to fix it. As a poor 20-something, I couldnt afford this. These amazing mechanics found out that not only was my power steering fine, it was just a fuse that had broken, and asked me if they could fix it for FREE.All in all, they sent me home with my power steering functional and a full engine and diagnostic check WITHOUT PAYING ANYTHING FOR THE ENTIRE SERVICE.Please go here. Had to wait overnight for part to arrive, they let us park our travel trailer in their lot and hook up to their electricity overnight. Couldnt ask for better service. I have always had a hard time trusting mechanics. I brought my car in because it was running poorly and car x just happened to be the closest repair center. Brandon and his team took time to help me out, right at the end of their day. Brandon correctly diagnosed my issue and set up time for me to come in the next day. I came to Car-X after the dealer failed to appropriately handle an oil leak. I also needed a new belt installed. The guys at Car-X were quick to get me in and investigated everything. They were fast and sorted my car out. Fantastic service.

Brought my 2007 Chevy Cobalt in for an exhaust leak. They only replaced what needed to be replaced (the resonator and part of the pipe) and got it fixed and got me in and out in just over an hour for under $80. Now my car doesnt sound like a motorcycle anymore and I have MUCH more money in my pocket than if I would have gone to my dealership. Would DEFINITELY recommend this place to others.

I got my car towed here to replace a broken fuel pump with an estimate of $500. They called me every two days for two weeks to inform me of a new problem they found, end total was a magical $999. During the two weeks they held my car hostage & didnt work on it I had to rent a car. When I finally got it back gasoline fumes inside the car were overwhelming, even with all four windows open. I took it back & Adam & Luke admitted they cracked open the top of my fuel tank by mistake & just left it. Luke, Adams brother, offered to take it home to his house & smear sealant all over the top of the tank, which is a felony, for only $200. Adam offered to have it fixed for $700. If I wouldnt have been so busy with work & my Dad dying I absolutely would have reported them to the Dept of Licensing & Regulation. Adam & his brother are criminals, Luke got fired later for something else. The CarX in Kimberly was amazing, but now closed unfortunately. The Wisconsin Ave location needs to be shut down until they fire the criminals working there.

Very small auto shop located in an easily noticable location with an out of the way driveway location, very strange setup but it works. Place was not really that clean when I was there and the mechanics were generally keeping to themselves not interacting with customers, could be good or bad depending on what youre looking for... The man who seemed to be the manager that actually helped all the customers referred to everybody as boss-man or boss-lady which was white entertaining actually. They were quick and efficient which is what most people look for. Oil change in about 20 minutes. Overall good place.

I had to stop in while visiting family due to an unbalanced tire issue. I was going to do a tire rotation and balance on all four tires. Sean, the assistant manager looked at my car and came to the conclusion that a full tire rotation wouldn’t gulp much and that because fix-a-flat was in the tire with the issue, a perfect balance wasn’t guaranteed. Instead of going ahead and charging me for services I did not need, he offered alternative options to help, including moving the problematic tire to the rear to reduce the shaking in the steering wheel for no charge.Sean’s integrity and true desire to help customers without exploiting them makes this place stand out far above other auto shops. I would highly recommend this location to friends, family, and anyone for their repair needs. If management holds this level of responsibility and dedication to their customers, I know their staff maintains the same values.Thank you for all of your help to make my drive home a little bit easier and safer.

I always have a great experience with this Car-X location in Appleton. From calling to make the appointment to when my vehicle is complete, it is always a good experience. I trust that when I take my vehicle here, it will be fixed correctly and the staff does go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable while waiting for your vehicle. I dont take my vehicle anywhere else.

The staff at the Appleton location is thorough and fair, always giving me all my options. Whenever I have an issue they make sure to fit me in, even on busy days. I will only trust Andy to work on my car and Shaun the manager is always knowledgeable.

The customer service was splendid and they were accommodating but we were provided an incorrect diagnostic of one of our cars at a $2,500 quote. Fortunately my husband decided he could do the work himself for a fraction of the price and went in search of parts. When doing so, American Fleet recommended he bring it in for review as it may not need the suggestion and when we did, American Fleet provided a diagnostic mirroring the data our Drivewise reported and repaired our vehicle for HALF of Car-Xs quote! Whats most troubling is the fact that 1. I showed Car-X the Drivewise report, he wrote the codes down and STILL provided an incorrect estimate and 2. American Fleet said its a good thing you brought it in because thats NOT AT ALL whats wrong with your vehicle so you wouldve been out of a whole lot of money for nothing.Overall, theyre good for an oil change but nothing else!

I have been pleased with all service I had done here so far. They have been honest and never tried to sell me what I didnt need. I can actually confirm the other review on here about CarX telling someone they didnt need an alignment as I was sitting in the shop when it happened. That is the first time I have seen a shop do that! They also pointed me to another shop for one specialty item the tech thought another shop had better equipment to perform, which I appreciate a lot vs ending up having to pay for it twice. Keep up the good work and service!

I went into this Car X location in April of 2013 with a coupon for an oil change, tire rotation, and free brake inspection upon request. I really feel Andy (the new manager) and Gary (the technician on duty) did an excellent job. Not only did they do what was on the coupon, the also took it upon themselves to see why my exhaust sounded like an earthquake for me. Andy explained what was wrong (and also took my into the shop to show me) with my exhaust and a week later I made an appointment to have him take care of that too. My total bill was VERY reasonable and I am very satisfied. I will be bringing my vehicle there from now on because, their customer service and ability where both excellent. Keep up the good work guys!

I am from out of town and took my vehicle in for a tire repair and what I thought needed an alignment, turns out I didnt need one and they called to make me aware that an alignment was unnecessary. Never have I had a repair shop call to let me know that work wasnt needed, usually toally opposite. Just shows that these guys care about your wallet and are only there to do whats actually needed for your vehicle. Thanks!!

Have gone here for about 3 oil changes. My car always runs smoothly afterwards (unlike at Meinekes where it broke down the same day). I never schedule ahead, I just walk in and they tell me it will be done within a few hours.

Needed a windshield wiper installed during a snow storm, the guys came right out and got me on my way quickly, and at a much lower price than expected. Ive paid more for just the wiper at a store, besides having them put on.
