A family member had some work done on a his vehicle recently. I drove the car home and it literally purred down the highway...Satisfied! The car is an import, 2005 model with less than 170K miles on the original engine.There was a leak in the gas line and something was loose under the carriage. I am not a mechanic and some things I have no idea about. All I know is that it was money well spent!Next time I am in the market for a newer car, I will definitely be back for a test drive. I went in for an oil leak, spend a good amount but never had my leaking car oil fixed. I took it to a different shop and they were able to find random clips under my car that was not supposed to be there. Everything under my car was a messed up, they made my oil leaked worse than before from back to front of the engine. I’ve always go there for mechanical fix but will not be a returning customer again.

I had my oil changed by one of the drive in places that also include a car wash, and a day or so later while driving to work the cover came off and all the oil drained out. I pulled over, called Petes and they towed me to their garage. They called the place that changed the oil and explained everything. To make a long story short, Im still driving my car. Petes has honest and knowledgeable people. Highly recommended!

Well we found Petes by reading reviews. They had pretty good ones compared to many others around here. They have been great with is. First we took a car in for them to fix. Long story short we had to junk it, bought a car from Petes fell in love with it. But unfortunately we only had the car a few days and something broke in the engine. I was devastated. So Josh recommended another car he thought may be a fit. We just didnt have enough money. So he gave us a rental to use told us not to worry(which is my middle name) and to come back next week when we do have the extra cash. Everyone seems so nice and friendly. Just my gut but I have a good feeling about the guys at this shop. Its hard when your from outta town to find a new reliable car place. I have a feeling Ill have nothing but good service stories to share. Havent felt so relieved in weeks. Thank God for them. I mean that. Ok Im rambling but wanted praise where its due.

I called Petes on a Saturday morning because my check engine light had come on the evening prior. They had me swing over and hooked it up to their machine, told me to come back if it turned back on but its probably a faulty sensor or need a tune-up. Anywhere else I would have been trying to find an appointment time and had to have paid at least $54 for such a service. Highly recommend and I will definitely be going back when I need repairs. If they are that honest and nice upfront without even having my business yet, I almost cant wait to be a customer.

Not yet a customer of their services but will be scheduling with them when I visit Appleton instead of taking my car in where I live. I previously took my car in for a routine oil change and was quoted 4k in Chicago to get work done on a handful of different things. Took my car into Petes and after inspection they said I didnt need any immediate work done and provided me foundational information on the parts and services that I came in for and was concerned about. The honesty and trust they provide is incredible.

Ive been going to Petes for over 30 years. Its hard to find a good, reliable, and honest repair shop and thats what Petes is. When have you been to a repair shop and asked them about some sound your car is making and the staff tell you its nothing to worry about? And, charge you nothing to check your car out? This has happened to me at Petes a number of times. That creates trust! They routinely tell me I can wait for a repair, instead of telling me I have to fix that sound and 5 other things - like at other shops Ive been to. Petes is a great repair shop!

The service here has really gone down. I had them replace my drivers side headlamp and when I got it back the light beam was point straight down to 5 feet in front of me. I alerted them to this and took my car back for them to correct it. After they worked on it....problem was still the same. If they cant properly change a headlamp I wouldnt trust them with anything else.

I was in a situation where I needed a very reliable vehicle within a specified price range and Bob definitely found me a van in mint condition well within my price range.The vehicle was for a single mother and her little 2 year old son. It was very important to me that the vehicle be in good maintenance inside and out. This van definitely was.Bob at Petes answered our prayers and we will definitely continue to do all our business with them.

Had my brakes done, oil change, and a valve stem replacement. I really struggled with trusting someone other than my dad to work on my car. These guys are great. Open communication, convenient drop off/pick up, great customer service, and quality work at a fair price! I had them put pricing together for some additional work i need done! Today was my first time at Petes and Ive gotta say Im extremely happy with the service. I took my car in for a wobbling steering wheel and a battery issue. They took care of me within an hour. By far the best auto service Ive had in a while. My alternator went out on Thursday night. I called the Honda dealership Friday morning and they werent going to be able to fit me in until the next Thursday. I called Petes and was able to bring it in Friday at 4:30 after work. He told me hed try to get it in on Saturday, he had a full schedule and couldnt make a promise. I went home and by 6:10 Friday night they called me back saying it was done already. I picked it up and it ended up $50 cheaper than he quoted me, too.All around it was a great experience! I would recommend it to anybody who wants a friendly staff and great customer service! It feels like a small town neighborhood auto shop. Again, it was absolutely great service!

I trust the Petes Auto team to always be fair and honest and fix my car right. Ive been a loyal customer my whole adult life. They even give me a ride home if I have to wait for my car a while. Biggest thing here is I never feel like there is an upsell, they recommend what I need at that time and nothing more. Exceptional integrity.

My husband just got done with knee surgery and when I came out to get the car we had a flat tire. We are from Juneau, so driving on the spare wasnt an option. I called Petes Auto and explained our situation. They were able to plug the tire immediately! Wish we lived closer! We would go there for all our car needs!
