The spa is nice welcoming I was gifted a full set with pedi and back massage, everything was great except when it came to remove The calluses from your feet I had to ask and still wasnt much done my nails I pointed out a certain square shape this is more of a round square but the cuticle area Ive done nails and thats a no for me ..the massage oh boy it was so amazing!!!

We had some communication issues when I got my nails done, Donna was more then happy to bring me back in and fix the issue I was having (the nails were a bit thick for my liking) she told me just let her know if anything isn’t right and she will make it right and she did. Will definitely be back to see Donna.

This is the best Nail & Spa place in Apopka. They really take care of there clients. They dont rush doing your Nails or Pedicure. I really recommend you stop by and check them out

Great pedicure service and reasonable pricing. You will also enjoy a chair massage during your service which is always a plus. The place is clean and they seem to follow good sanitation practices. Would recommend.

I had my old set soaked off and a full new set done and I could not be happier with them! I’ve been getting my nails done pretty consistently for the past few months and this is the happiest I’ve been with a set, Hannah did an absolutely amazing job and I’m so happy to have found a solid place to go! For a removal and full set with gel it wasn’t expensive at all, I couldn’t be happier with the service I got.

After my appointment on Saturday, I will never be returning to the salon again. My last two experiences with them was pretty good, but this time I was not so happy. When I made my appointment, I specifically told the person who answered the phone that I needed an acrylic refill on both of my big toes and a color change as well as a full set. When I got to the salon, I did not get a acrylic refill and my toes were just painted and it seemed pretty rush. After my toes were done the individual who was working my feet was kind of trying to rush me to pay when I also had an appointment for my nails. When I came to have my nails done, she rushed through the process so my acrylic wasn’t laid properly and my polish looked sloppy. The first day they were manageable, but now I hate my nails and will be soaking them off. I’m upset that I even still paid for the service, but believe people should be paid for their time

They are very nice and welcoming. I mean obviously you could tell they were talking badly about the customers feet, but other than that the service was very good. The leg massage was amazing. And my nails are so pretty. Very nice place

The lady was friendly but this manicure is downright terrible. I got a full acrylic set, simple, no design just one color. I specifically asked for ROUND shape & even showed picture bc I can tell it was going south the way she cut them. she okayed me. my nails look AWFUL! they are NOT round. She just did lazy squares and filed them so hard it hurt. Thought she was shaping them, definitely not. They’re literally wonky and leaning to one side. These nails are embarrassing! A good nail tech should be able to do a simple round nail shape.

Not worthy of one star really. I had a 930 appointment with Lisa. I explained to her that my nail bed is wide and if she could make sure the acrylic is spread the width of the nail. She asked why and I explained to her and she said she couldnt do that.I left because I know that it can be done. I will just drive further to my old nail tech; even though this shop is closer to where I live now. Im sure she has enough clients and dont need my money. I will never visit this shop again.

Disappointing. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, the salon wasn’t too busy so I’m not sure why they were rushing. Most of my nails had a different shape to them. A week later all but three of my nails had fallen off.

Good service. Attentive when not too busy. I noticed when there are clients waiting, techs seem to rush through your service to start the next person. I got a 5 minute manicure that I still paid full price for 😕

My new nail salon - hands down one of the best Ive been to in a long time! The staff is friendly and professional, it was extremely clean and the quality of work was worth every penny. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the young man who did my pedicure but he took his time and did a wonderful job. Then I had the pleasure of having Lisa do my nails and wax my eyebrows. I explained to Lisa that I had a bad experience last time I had my eyebrows waxed and asked for ombre nails so she asked lots of questions and even did a test nail to make sure that she did exactly what I wanted. Seriously amazing - I highly recommend this place if youre like me and looking for a regular spot after a bad experience!

It was my first and last time in this place ... even though I check the reviews from this place I thought they changed for better but my mistake it wasn’t like that... the guy who did my pedicure was rude ... never stop talking on his phone which I think that’s very unprofessional... he treat me like he didn’t care ... I give this place -0... Plus no AC !! My best advice check another place ... DON’T WAIST YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE!!!

Sharon did my nails she’s the second lady to the left when you walk in. Started of good but then cut me a couple times while filing. I was in pain whole time thinking She was going to file the actual acrylic nail off with how hard she was filing it. But I was in a state of mind of pain is beauty. I wasn’t super happy with the end result but I was happy for the most part that it was over man.. just not with the pain I told myself I obviously wouldn’t go back to her. Not even a week later one of my nails came off today so I figured the pain and now I lost nail with just opening a door?? because the pinky nail was too small for my actual finger nail. She was a sweet lady but I just don’t see much reviews with actual names I feel that important. So there ya go.

Not sure what happened here. I asked for my nails to be longer and as a short coffin. Its okay... you live and you learn.

Ave Nail & Tan is the best salon for excellence, friendliness and cleanliness. I owned my own nail salon for years. When I relocated to Florida, I needed to find a place to do my nails. I visited multiple places. Ave Nails & Tan surpassed all of them!! Their cleanliness is exceptional! There is barely an odor from the products. The odor from nail products is not a healthy environment. So, I feel safe at this salon. The other salons I visited had a heavy smell to their products. The fact that in the very near future they are going to use organic products is a huge plus. I feel confident to refer people here that have asked me where I get my nails done. Give this salon a try. You will never go anywhere else!

Terrible experience. Worst pedicure Ive ever had. Upgraded to a scrub and on the website it says 45 minute pedicure that removes calluses and dead skin. Im done in less than 30 and going home to remove my own calluses. Terrible experience. I will never be back. Do not go here if you know what a good pedicure is.

I am new to the area and visited the Ave Nails & Spa for a manicure Pedicure ($37.00 plus tip). I was very dissapointed to say the least. The nail technician that I was unfortunate to get was rude and unfriendly, and acted like she was doing me a favor. She did a horrible job on exfoliating my feet and spent several minutes scrubbing the same spot on my shin area with some sort of grit and paying no attention to what she was doing. She was more interested in looking at her co-worker and carrying on a conversation. My heel and sole which needed a bit of exfoliation were never scrubbed, and she burned my foot with hot water when she started rinsing it off. The manicure was close to the worse I have ever gotten. The cuticles were not cleaned up and she polished over them. They are clearly visible under the polish and look untidy. I could have done a better job with my left hand. I will definitely not be visiting this place again.

I have been going to Ave Nails for over 10 years. It is a wonderful place. Friendly and very welcoming, and above all very clean. The staff interacts well together which makes the experience very enjoyable.Donna has been my go to person for my services - nails, pedi and waxing. She has always worked me into her schedule - and I know she does the same for her other clients.And unlike some salons, when you lose a nail they repair it for free - other places make you pay for that service.The rates are reasonable and the service is wonderful.I highly recommend Ave Nails.

There was a long wait, so we grabbed a bite and came back. Then I had an emergency and had to run our while my daughter got her nails done. I got back 15 mins before closing and they still took me and did a great job. First time back since the remodel and Im so pleased!

I was looking for a shop online and thought this salon had the best nails via photo for what I was looking for. Boy was I in to be dissatisfied got my nails done on a saturday. Its Thursday and they already look like they did when I came in. She half did the setting of my nails and my file down. I asked for squared. The shape they already where and she started rounding them and left them uneven with asymmetrical points because they were ment to be squared. I asked her to ay least level them out to my finger tip and several are still lopsided. I am never one to write reviews. I dont care usually however this was bad enough to comment on I wish I could leave photos. Just not happy at all. Ill never ever in my life cheat on my nail lady again. Sorry MiMi.

Best nail salon Ive ever been to. Donna is my nail tech for over 7 years and I would never let anybian else touch my nails. And I am picky!My husband gets his feet pampered here, too, and he loves the service here.

I went for a gel pedicure and the experience wasn’t one to remember! I’m rating two stars because of the color but the way they did it I could’ve done myself. They rushed through the whole process and did not take they’re time, they didn’t clean our feet well nor give a well massage everything that was done was rush and was not worth my money. Not coming back again nor would I recommend.

Honestly the best foot massage I’ve had yet. It felt clean and we’ll kept the minute you walked in. Me and my daughter went for mother’s day.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I entered with my sister at the same time to get a pedicure and I finished wayyy before she did. The lady I had rushed through my pedicure, kept yanking my foot, cleaned me up with a paper towel and cleaned her hands afterwards with the same paper towel. Not to mention that I had to tell her to clean up around my toes because it was messy, then she messed them up and did fix it but messed up again, I didn’t even bother to tell her to fix them. This was a well lesson learned to stick with one nail salon location and don’t try new ones!!! Lux Nail Bar in Sanford has always been my go to place and will remain that way.

My technician kept pulling and twisting my arms during a fill, the drill was way too hot. At the end i told her i wanted clear gel and she started putting on reg. Polish. When i stopped her she proceeded to argue about what i said. She got clearly very annoyed and began to speaking loudly in Vietnamese! I will never go back. Customer service stunk!!!!

Newer people since a couple years ago. The best technicians are Li & the only guy. Clean & reeasonably priced.

Im very picky when it comes to certain things, and because of this I wont use anyone in the salon except for Donna, she sits at station 2. shes fairly quiet, but if you just mention something to her she will fix it or do what you want. tbh, shes so good i tip 15 or more just to get her. Ive had another woman here do my nails, and wasnt too satisfied, the same when my mother ended up with someone else doing hers. go. and book an appointment with donna! you wont regret it. :)

Just awful! I said I wanted a powdered gel manicure, they told me 20 minutes, so I decided to wait, only for it to turn into 45 minutes. I finally get to a seat and they have no idea what a powdered gel manicure even is. Why didn’t they ask me that when I walked in?! Awful! I’m new to the area and in search of a place to go every few weeks, and they lost out due to their own incompetency!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Was told to come back in 30 mins for a party of 3 to sit together...well after we came back sat for 40 mins they started on 1...when going to walk out they wanted to try and start on the other 2. Will never come back, this place is slow!!

HORRIBLE! The only positive things I can say is that the salon seemed very clean and the ladies that work there seemed friendly. I sat at station 1. The gentleman that did my nails smelled horribly of smoke and was one of the rudest nail techs Ive ever had. I went in for a simple fill, going from red polish to a French manicure. When I pointed out that he left A LOT of red polish all over my nails AND hands, he seemed irritated. When I pointed out he smudged the white on 1 finger (not a minor smudge, a big one), he got mad. I dont know if he was in a bad mood and having a bad day or what but Ive never been treated SO bad by a nail tech ever. He made me, as a first time customer, feel very UNWELCOME to the point I do not want to ever go back.

One of the worst nail salons Ive been to. I got a full set, the lady butchered my skin around my nail. Six out of ten fingers are bleeding. My nails are bumpy, I got my nails matte so to can clearly see all of bumps and the paint job is horrible. Wouldnt come back for anything and definitely wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

This place is one of the worst nail salons Ive ever been too got charge $20 extra for having long nails on top of that one of the woman in the salon decided to slap my face after I touched it because my nails had chemicals on it after that my nails only lasted about five days and started snapping off at the root which left it all blood because it was my real nail and this was a fresh full set !! Utterly disappointed and angry about this NO NOT COME HERE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY
