$15 platinum wash review because I am extremely disappointed.I am a car guy and keep my vehicle religiously clean. Some splashed on dirt on the mud flaps, some bird poo, splattered bugs and dust/water spots were on my vehicle from a 2hr trip. (Rain-x, and washed often). Should have been no task for even the most basic of car washes, but still paid $15 for the platinum top of the line wash to treat my beloved vehicle to a great wash and tire shine. At the beginning when most washes power wash off any heavy dirt/poo/bugs ended up being more like the mist setting on your typical garden hose nozzle. The included pics were taken immediately after. Please note the tire shine on tires, the only 2 bird poo spots neither of with came off and dirt still on mudflaps (something I could remove with a garden hose nozzle). Looked at my receipt and realized I could return within 3 days for a free wash! Great! However it is only for the most basic wash. So Id have to waste the gas to go back and not have the 1 good premium platinum wash I paid for. Go elsewhere this place is a joke

Giving a few stars rather than one because Ive had previously good experiences at this wash. However the last time it was a zero star wash, it was very busy, I wont mind, I had the time, when it was my turn the two service attendants immediately began soaking my windshield blinding my ability to steer my vehicle correctly on the track. They were shouting at me to put it in neutral when I couldnt see the lights that typically indicate this, it was very rude. Ive been toPlenty of different car washes Im aware of how they work and never had issues before. I put the car in neutral and proceeded through the wash, I heard a strange sound during but trusted the process. Upon exiting the wash I notice my Audi stock rim completely scratched and scuffed and one of my brand new Pirelli tires had a huge bite taken out of the sidewalk. I realize they offer 100% satisfaction but I wouldnt dare take my car through that wash again. Im sure 9/10 its fine but maybe dont spray the customers windshield as they are entering and focus on the body of the car.

I love this place! They have fun wash, good team of people and gets your car pretty clean. I am a regular and get my car washed here often! They even allow you to have your car washed multiple times a day. Usually my per car wash for the month will be around $3. I enjoy their wash and has monthly platinum membership.Only bad thing about the car wash is that they don’t have multiple front of car/windshield cleaning stuff. So after I go on a trip - they do not do a good Job cleaning the bugs off of my windshield. So I have to do a car wash, use a towel to clean as many as bugs off of my car then do another car wash. It is a pain but I don’t expect them to take off hard sticking bugs off of my car. Anyway I love this place and their car wash! Would love to see them in business for many years to come 🙂

Good place, Im not a member, but I wash my car there every couple months.One time I wasnt happy with the wash, and they rewashed it for me (better, but the van still had some tough bug guts on front). FREE vacuums, and discount/free for another wash within 3 days with their top 2 wash options.

Out-of-state visitors in desperate need of a car wash. Noticed the positive reviews and made the choice to pay roughly $14.95 for a premium wash experience. We politely asked the guy who was outside spraying vehicles to please spray a little extra water on the front grill of my 2021 Trailblazer (the bugs were sticking to it like glue). He replied Certainly kind of in a sarcastic manner. Then he turned the hose on our front window (on the passenger side) before we could even roll our passenger side window back up! Amazed at what just happened my partner and I stared at each other in stunned silence. After the wash we noticed the back window was still dirty and bugs were still on the front grill. This location does not take the time to spray vehicles properly. In the late spring/early summer months people can accumulate a ton of bugs on vehicles. In the interior of the wash building, I noticed a sign that said if we are not satisfied they will wash it again. However, after the attitude of the person spraying the vehicles, we decided to take this experience as a lost and take our business else where. I appreciate you for taking time out to read my review.

The are the best car wash in the area but they never get the bugs off. They really dont take the time to spray your vehicle down and actually gets the bugs off. When I went today I still had bird poop all over. They put you to close to the other cars that I always feel like I will hit them or they will hit me.

Zippy is a clean, well kept car wash which sounds weird because you’d think all car washes would be like that, but some are just not well kept up. Free self-service vacuum which is great. I wish they had towels so we could towel off our cars after they went through, but that’s not something that will keep me from coming back, just bring your own if you like to do that.

Been going to zippy for a few years and always professional service. I love they power wash your car before you go through the auto wash. This ensures heavy dirt is cleaned off before the brushes catch it and scratch your paint. I have the month pass and love that I can go through as many times as I want. Having a dark colored car a little bit of dirt makes it look terrible.

Best brushed car wash in Ann Arbor. Brushes are clean and strong vacuums are free. Wish there were more brushless options in the area. The attendants pre-soaking the cars do a haphazard job but the results are still pretty good. The air dryers at the end leave something to be desired so be sure to finish up when you get home by cleaning up the small dripping water spots.

My favorite place to get my car clean. I been coming here for 3 years. Today the person in front of me for some reason put the breaks on and we could not see due to the heavy foam and we tap the bumper. Right away the whole machine stopped. The car ahead of us was off track. The attendant put the car in front of us on track, and also our. Nice and clean. One can tell that they clean the water filter system so your not reusing old dirty water. I was at another car wash and right away one could smell the bad water. I wish they would offer a free car wash once in a while. But its nice and clean. Smells good. Love the disco lights.

Great Car Wash! I bought a monthly membership. Line moves smoothly. The have at least 2 locations in Ann Arbor. I have been to both. It helps prevent the salt from the road from causing rust on your car.

Went through the car wash when my car was covered in snow. Halfway through the wash my entire windshield cracked. Went in to talk to the workers about it and the lady was very nice. I was told the owner would call me later that day to figure it all out. Been 5 days and have heard nothing, manager has been beyond rude and disrespectful. Worst part is my car came out of the wash dirty, snowy and cracked! So disappointed because I was a very frequent costumer and loved how fast this car wash was. I am still hoping to hear from the owner about the damage this car wash caused.

It was the best car wash around but now the young guy who sprays the cars at first only prays the ground and not the car. I have been through 3 times this week and he has done the same thing every time. He will only do one swipe with water and then continue to wash the ground.

Normally not bad but this last visit not impressed only one person spraying car with water so only one side was sprayed down an expensive car wash for only half a spray down. Probably short handed since people dont want to work anymore they would rather stay at home and collect so called free money just what this administration wants let us do your thinking we control you.

Easy instructions, car was cleaned well though still had some wet spots. Vacuums were free and had really good suction.

The line is fast, if there is one. Sometimes the rear bumper doesnt get as clean as everything else but all in all, they do a good job. Best of all, their system is clean and the brushes dont leave scratches... Theyre not full of dirt.

Reliable, fast, and pretty damn good for an automatic wash. This is my go to carwash. Its a little costly but you can get $100 gift cards for $75 at the nearby Costco, which makes the pricing pretty competitive.

Its my go to carwash. Its across town and the location isnt all that convenient. That also dont towel dry. Car is usually pretty clean and the free vacuum service is nice.

Usually quick and always professional. I have a pretty old truck too and the machines are pretty gentle.

Doesnt clean the back window of Edge SUV very well. Otherwise, pretty good job. I moved from Novi where all the car washes had staff to towel dry the cars. Wondering why not here.

If you get the unlimited pass its a great deal otherwise its pretty expensive.Only knocking one star because they leave soap on the back of my ford fusion but the car is clean.

I really wanted to like this car wash, and I had even bought the unlimited car wash pass. I had to cancel my pass after the last wash left two scratches roughly 3 feet long on the side of my truck. I filed a damage report with them, but they denied the claim and stated that the Envirosft foam is physically incapable of scratching, chipping, or otherwise altering the vehicles finish.While they sound confident in the statement, I am not. I know that it was from their car wash and not my fault, nor was I scraped by another vehicle. The two scrapes run perfectly parallel to each other for 3 feet. I drive a 2017 Silverado truck, and if you look on the door panels there is a small trim piece. The scrape occurs along the piece of trim as well as a few inches above that trim. As the trim piece sticks out a quarter of an inch off the door, it is impossible for any one object to have made those two scrapes with out any damage in the middle of them.I have seen other reports of damage here and should have listened to other reviews.

Definitely quick, with a nice no-contact setup that worked well given the pandemic, but at least half of the bugs from my recent highway night drive were still plastered over my windshield and front grill at the end.

I been going to the one on ellsworth and the one on zeeb since March... both are EXTREMELY unprofessional... they dont guide you the way you need to go do you dont hit your tire rims, and to top it all off they dont want any room in between cars.... they try to force me to move forward so I would be less than 2 ft behind the car in front of me... which means that the back of their car not gonna get clean properly nor will the front of my car. And every time i go i have to ask them to spray the top of my back windshield. So if you have a lip basically on thetop of your rear windshield, it not gonna get clean. And you cant just call and stop charges to your card. You have to email them and hope they cancel it.

This was BY FAR my WORST experience going to a car wash EVER in my life! The employee that I dealt with was EXTREMELY RUDE! And EXTREMELY unprofessional! This employee even had the nerve to spray his power washer into my girlfriends face at point blank range leaving marks on her face! When askedif he could spray our rear windshield, because we were instructed to do so from a Michigan State trooper. Only 30 minutes before. That isAssualt!!! And my lawyer will be contacting your establishment soon!!!! I would advise others to look for a more professional place of business to get there vehicles washed. Unless you enjoy disrespect, unprofessionalism, and ridiculously rude employees with bad attitudes! I was completely appalled when an excuse of a manager said all they could do was refund me my money, which I still have not received!!!!

We like zippy auto wash for our smaller car. The car is really clean when we are through the car wash. The prices are fine. Just with our minivan, the car wash is a little bumpy. We dont take our minivan to zippy anymore.

This was a great in and out location, drive through. They prescribed the bad parts of my car and it smelled wonderful going through. Also, there were vacuum bays so definitely a one stop shop. It was a decent experience and I will be back again. Great location right off of 94 and State St.

Poor wash! If I had the time I would go thru again based on the 100% satisfaction guarantee! Don’t waste $12.00! Went use the vac, had as much suction as a soda straw! UPDATE: I just got rid of an Infiniti QX80 that the wash scratched the lift gate of. When I informed the guy a week later he told me he knew about it. Apparently I was not the first. That being said, the owner sent me a free wash due to soap getting stuck in.the mirrors and I have taken my wifes car through a few times with it. I can say that the soap is no longer getting stuck in the mirrors and then flying all over your car as you drive out. This is an improvement.PREVIOUS REVIEW: The wife got a new car two months ago with a rather small windshield. I asked the guy to please put the wash pass as low as possible. Nope. With some attitude he put it in a terrible spot blocking my wifes vision. Gee, thanks. Sorry for interrupting your break. 🙄Last week I went through with my monthly pass car after waiting over 20 minutes in line for only half of it to get washed. No rinsing. The brushes only turned on for the rear half of my car. It required me to go back through again to get all the soap off.Fast forward to today. I take the wifes car up for a $12 wash and it comes out with no tire shine. The line was backed up into the road and I couldnt make it up to the front to tell someone. Want a refund? Too late once youre home. The line is so long you cant pull into the vacuums to towel dry.Zippys used to be top notch but the quality has been slipping. Youd think after all these years theyd adjust the sprayer so it shoots at your side mirrors to rinse the soap out but it stays in there until you turn onto Ellsworth and then it flies out all over your car. At least 80% of the cars coming out have soap flying out of the mirrors.Ive washed everything from a BMW to a Bentayga at Zippys for my job. The quality and customer service needs to improve for me to recommend Zippys again.

I took my car here yesterday and the wash completely scratched the hood of my car. I called the place 4 times and no one has picked up.

14 dollars I pay for my services but its look like need more attention to the wheels too.

My Older vehicle came out clean and shiny. I got the $10 wash that includes underbody and wax. A little more expensive than some car wash but did great job. Place looks new!I should have paid extra for best wash because they might have been able to get the brake dust off the wheels with wheel wash .

Good service, good staff, and the colored bubbles are incredibly entertaining to my toddler. The $30/month wash-all-you-want is a great deal if youre crazy about keeping your car clean like I am. However, my lowered Mazda 3 was too low to get into the track of the car wash, but thats probably my fault and Im not dinging them a star.

Zippy is what every car wash should be for all time. Our cars always come out clean and the prices are reasonable. That might sound obvious but its not, no other car wash in the area ever gets our cars clean. The secret? More brushes, a lot more brushes. Thats it, thats all it takes. The monthly subscription is a great idea too, especially for Saline with all the dirt roads in the area.

They scratched my brand new car very badly. I paid the best quality wash amount to clean everything like tires and rims but they didn’t touch those area.

Very quick car wash with monthly plan. Car comes out decent- minor parts of back end missed. 2 guys to spray your car on the way in; no human driers (but automated drying fairly well effective). Automatic wash only- no detailing, etc.

This place is the best place to get your car washed. The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and very professional. They use a rainbow colored soap that makes the inside of your car smell great if you have your air on.

We went there early on a Sunday (8.30) and got through the wash without waiting. Paid for the platinum option and the car came out looking like new, including some washing under the body. Only thing that could be slightly better from our perspective might be some more options for additional pre-washing for very dirty cars to get rid of crusted on stuff underneath and to avoid scratching on the upper bodywork (wed just driven to northern Canada and back through heavily salted freeways and muddy off-roads). But all in all happy with the result and felt it was good value.

Its a little pricey but my car always looks great after running through Zippys.

Great car wash

I did wash here yesterday evening. My car has still dust/ stains and finish was just like some rub on exterior. Not worth 12 bucks I spent for titanium wash. I’m not happy with what I saw on my car after wash- I expected better based on reviews I read here.

Just went through the carwash and as I went through the sprayer on the outside signaled to the sprayer on the inside. The inside sprayer hit a button on the console near him and I ended up going through the carwash without getting a carwash. Have a video of it I got when I was partway through after noticing what was occuring. My vehicle is now covered in dried up soap. Very disappointed.

This place really is the best. Did you a great job washing and if youre not 100% satisfied to send you through again for free. The customer service is really improved recently and with the new brushes Im noticing it even better level of quality. Zippy Auto Wash usually does such a good job washing your car you only have to wash once a week. This compared to other car washes where I end up washing multiple times a week.

I have always had a good experience going here to wash and vacuum my vehicle, with the one exception of this last time. One vacuum hose was not sufficiently working. First time Ive experienced that since they opened.

Prices are high compared to other local washes but the convenience of the monthly pass bring the price way down. Will continue to patronize zippy for this reason alone but honestly the quality of the wash is well above competitors. They do a great job pre washing the vehicle and I feel the mops throughout the rest of the wash are cleaner and scratch the vehicle less as a result.

Best auto wash in Washtenaw county. Even my dog likes to go.

For Michigan, where full service car washes are few and far between, Zippys is a good option. Its quick (usually), cheap and easy. If you have a SUV, dont expect the back of your vehicle to be cleaned. If you dont mind all the water marks that youll have because no one dries your vehicle, its a good option.
