The 2 people in there were very helpful as stated below my issue was with hertz its selfWouldnt take my debt card (bank of America)Ive rented countless cars with enterprise and not had an issue now my trip for work will be delayed. This location is not bad hertz just sucks had issues with them in the past. Had to use because enterprise was all booked out

Mildred made my experience at the Sheraton HLE perfect. I was impressed with speed, efficiency, and care with which she helped me and the other customer at that location.Highly recommend getting a vehicle there. Will definitely be using them in the future.

Insane wait times! I reserved a car for noon and got in line half an hour early. There were still 12 people in line in front of me when noon came around and I was told to estimate 15 minutes per person just to get processed (meaning 3 pm). then no guarantee a car would be ready for me. No apology, just a bear with us; were understaffed. Just ridiculous!!!

Milldred and Moe are lifesavers! Hardworking and cool under pressure. Something happened at the other Hertz in Ann Arbor and they handled both branches customers like pros.

Booked midsize suv through a third party (Expedia), when I came in to pick it up- I was refused- because I prepaid with debit card on Expedia (there was nothing on that website that said I couldn’t, so I used debit and was charged $600.) They didn’t have the midsize SUV I reserved, the only car left was a larger SUV, which they said couldn’t be given as a substitute because I used debit third party. Only small vehicles can use debit apparently? If I knew that at booking, I would’ve used a different card! They offered no solutions, kept me waiting for an hour while they tried to text the boss and ask for approval. Boss never answered and they closed without renting me a car I already reserved and paid for. I finally contacted Expedia and was able to get a refund after 3 hours of this BS. Don’t recommend at all! Waste of time and money! I have to now rebook and drive 25 mins to a different car rental company at the airport.

Would have been an easy 4 or 5 stars if the hours were updated online. I went in to ask some questions and return the car, and they were closed for the next 2 days instead...

Not understanding why after paying $300 and being charged a $200 deposit I got a dirty car with blown out speakers. Can’t use all that money to run the cars through a basic car wash or make the inside not stink?

After accidentally overcharging me, my card froze thinking it was fraud. I was told to figure it out n the guy would “hold it” Not even 20 mins later my reservation was gone. Then they found me a car but refused to rent it to me because of how someone ELSE spoke with them. Worst experience ever. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Excellent retail location. Best of the 2 in Ann Arbor! It was a bit tricky to find our first time, as it is down a hallway inside the hotel, but a simple inquiry at the front desk and we were talking with our Hertz agent right away! In and out was only minutes, and the service was on point. Made our rental experience much more pleasant than any we have had prior. We will return.

Unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of cars that are always clean and in great condition. Very efficiently run, which is convenient in the mornings when I am in a rush to get to work. Highly recommended.

Pre-paid for a FULL sized car for a long road trip. Was provided an unwashed, smelly mid size and they refused to offer any refund. Manager was completely unresponsive. I was promised a $100 voucher by corporate. They said the local office would send it. Two weeks later. Nothing. Avoid the location.

Very friendly staff in this location, truly the best car rental experience I had compared to many other Hertz, Budget, Enterprize ... locations in Ann Arbor. I arrived late after they closed, but they were willing to open again to accommodate me.

Love this place, everyone was so helpful and accommodating. I will never rent from Enterprise again. the employees here tell you everything up front and dont pull a bait and switch on you like Enterprise does.

Ive enjoyed the professionalism for several years, and would give five stars except that I just learned today that I cant book for my one-day trip because (according to Hertz 800 representative) there is now a two-day minimum rental period. Im not shocked, just disappointed, and can only hope that you will change the policy back. Otherwise, Ill slide over to National ...

Everyone went above and beyond to help me with problems that the insurance company and a different hertz location created and tried to pass the buck. Moe and Millie are absolutely the best people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. After problems with Ann Arbor’s National location in the past I’ve resigned to use National’s airport location but because of the boardwalk hertz location’s professionalism and dedication to service I will use them as my exclusive car rental provider in the future. Don’t hesitate to rent from here because they truly treat you like family.

Charged me over $50 for gas even though when the car was returned it was full and was told from two people I wasnt going to be charged for anything when returned. Didnt have a car for me when I already paid in full. They gave me a jeep with no mirrors and said I had to drive that. and they made me return the jeep for another car, it was disgusting a legit melted candy bar on the driver seat and all over the center council. They made me clean it befor i could even drive it they wouldnt touch it because it was quote not my problem now the car itself had horrible breaks and the engine sounded like it was about to fall apart. If I could give zero stars I would. Will never rent again. Cant get ahold of a manager or even a employee. The lady in the office was unbelievably rude when I asked about the issues with my car.

Easy transaction. In and out in 5 minutes. Great price and free upgrade. Had to vacuum the car myself as the interior hadnt been touched since the previous renter(s). Exterior wasnt washed either.

Easy, fast, and friendly service. It took me just a few minutes to pick up my car. They even had someone go retrieve my rental for me (since theyre parked in a separate lot). Note that they dont offer pickup service, but they reimburse you for your taxi (or Uber/Lyft) to the location.

Nice car, free upgrade. Reason for 3 stars? I called about 30 minutes prior to closing, simple yes/no question, and lady acted like she was overly tired n not want to be bothered.

HORRIBLE! The office is dusty and dirty and the desk worker was very rude. She called someone on her team and said, the lady is here for her car...get it. and hung up. She began to shuffle papers and was staring at her computer for a few minutes and I finally asked what the hold up was and she told me I had to wait for the guy to clean the car of snow, get gas and put the license plate sticker on the car...she then tried to convince me to fill the gas tank myself. After waiting 35 minutes, I finally got the car to discover that it was NOT cleaned of snow, the driver who got the gas cleared a little circle on the windshield and thats it. After cleaning the car of 4 inches of snow, I got in the vehicle to see dirty napkins, an old Starbucks stirring stick and a plastic spoon, GROSS. When I returned the car in, the same front desk women snatched the keys from my hands and said she couldnt provide a receipt because they hadnt checked the limits and miles of the car yet- I need a receipt for my job! I suggested she emailed me the receipt and said Okay. Thanks bye. SHE DIDNT EVEN HAVE MY EMAIL!!!! So I gave it to her and she said to expect it in the next hour. Well, it is now 5 days later and I have not received an email receipt. I have called her twice and she keeps telling me Our system is down. It will be to you today. Bye. Unprofessional and rude. I will NEVER go back and I will be telling my company to NEVER use Hertz again along with everyone I work with nationally and internationally.

Ive rented from this location for years and they always provide wonderful service. It is easy to get there by bus, too.

Difficult to find the office (a hole in the wall), the woman at the desk seemed annoyed by us and to be working on a Saturday....Weve reserved a VW Passat and they only had available a old Elantra. Of course in poor condition and dusty, waiting for us at the parking lot. Mah, sometimes I wonder why Hertz does not care about customer experience...

Car was spectacular, and it was barely any hassle to retrieve the vehicle. Only downfall, it has taken over two weeks for the transaction to go through.
