All was great and the place was lovely. Beautiful wood doors and floors. Shower pressure and temperature was disappointing. The also don’t have a USB way to charge your phone like most hotels, thank goodness I had the charging cube in the car or I wouldn’t have been able to charge my phone .

My #1 concern at a hotel is cleanliness and The Bleckley Inn was very clean. I always check closely.It’s a beautiful old building that has been updated but kept so much charm. The location was nice. We walked to restaurants and even a chocolatier. Parking was not an issue. I will stay here anytime I travel yo Anderson.

We attended a beautiful wedding and stayed in one of their suites. Everything was superb. I highly recommend this Hotel for any occasion. The staff were extremely helpful. Our breakfast was delicious.

My husband and I stayed for one night for our anniversary! Our first thought was how clean the building looked, but were blown away with the character and unique details. The location is amazing; right on Main Street, the ceilings are high, and they left chocolate on our pillow, which was such a sweet touch. We did have one small issue with our bed sheets being the wrong size which took a bit to sort out because it was late at night, but after explaining it to staff in the morning they made it right:) The breakfast was also very good and the room it was in felt so classy lol. We can’t wait to do stay again, and highly recommend it!

The hotel is one of the most gorgeous properties in the Southeast. Full of charm. Extremely well appointed. The staff were amazing. Food was delicious. I travel extensively for work, frequently staying at 5 star properties. The Bleckley was equal to or greater than all.

Our suite was beautiful! Very helpful staff and accommodating. Bedding was extremely comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was superb! Extremely clean and just a short walk away from great restaurants and bars. Loved this place!

We had an incredible stay for our anniversary. The suite was gorgeous, well stocked, incredibly clean, and had an amazing view. The bed was the best Ive ever slept in! My husband really enjoyed all the extra amenities that the Bleckley adds.Location was wonderful, design was perfect, the bed was amazing, the bathroom well stocked and super clean, wonderful view, 1 minute walk to main street, super simple check in and check out, and a very good breakfast.We were delighted and look forward to our next stay!

The room was very comfortable. Bedding was great, bathroom and shower were nice. The food was very good. Many places were within walking distance. The cookies at night are a nice touch. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Bleckley Inn is a small boutique hotel situated in downtown Anderson, SC. Everything about the Bleckley exudes quality and understated elegance without being stuffy. The building and decor areinviting, the rooms (we booked suite #11) are spacious with comfortable beds, enormous bathrooms and conveniences such as kitchens and washer/dryers.A buffet style breakfast served in an historic part of the hotel, is delicious and is free to hotel guests.There is free parking for hotel guests just steps from the entrance.The staff are pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about the hotel, nearby restaurants and local history. Managers Shelby and Andrew are outstanding. These folks define the word hospitality. Every aspect of our experience was delightful...truly five-star.Ken Evans

Only because I am allowed 5 stars prevents this from being higher. The rooms are exquisite. Rainfall shower. Luxurious towels - you can buy them!Oral e bacon!!! Timms Mill grits!!! Goodness I could go on and on.Located in the heart of downtown Anderson so many, many great restaurants are walking distance.

I’ve never stayed in a room, but have toured the hotel. All the rooms are unique; some are large. All have nice amenities.I have attended several large and small meetings and luncheons there. The Board Room Room is very nice. Their breakfast is good as well.I also use their Rooftop for a Christmas Party each year. Super nice staff.

I shouldve given this place 5 stars but after the end of my stay Im over it. Luxury and comfort sure but I cannot get over how loud and obnoxious the guests are at this hotel. Thursday night at 11 pm and they are loud and drunk as hell. I called the front desk to let them know multiple times. Their response - why dont you get some ear plugs and a fan. Basically telling me its my problem and they allow the other guests to be as loud as they want. So much for southern hospitality.The sad part is that I visit Anderson on a frequent basis. I was planning on making this a regular stay but after this there isnt a snowballs chance I would give it another go. Fortunately we there are several clients and suppliers that are recommended to stay here and I will be more than happy to recommend them to the Hilton or even the motel 6 off 85. Checking out in a few hours and cannot wait. What a way to end a trip

Outstanding place! Highly recommend. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast is killer! The free cookies every night didnt hurt either. Would love to return sometime.

After two sleepless night due to heavy leaking in the roof and an incredible musty smell in the hallways due to the ceiling collapsing. I Called the front desk where i was met with a rude individual who and i quote said to me well what do you want me to do about it I had a terrible stay, I am a us Marine veteran with extreme PTSD. They offered to put me in a room half the size with no windows to make amends but as soon as I walked in there I began to panic. With that being said when i checked out in the morning the front desk clerk said the manager would contact me that never happened. The pictures and overall representation was nice the lobby was very clean.

The company I work for used Bleckley Inn as a venue for a meeting of 10 people of mixed positions from center level associates through C-level professionals. The space was ideal for our needs, and beautiful! The snack service they provided was super YUMMY and was set up on time. The rates are reasonable, too!

Rooms were outstanding but the beds are terrible. Breakfast is okay just wish they had non sugary bacon, eggs without any added casserole and better coffee. Nice place to stay overall. Would be 4 stars if they got new more comfortable mattresses and box springs for the beds.

The Bleckley Inn was home base for a 2 night stay in Anderson, SC with family after unexpected death of younger woman. Despite the sorrow of losing our young friend, we were comforted with the hospitality offered by every member of the staff at the beautifully furnished dear Bleckley Inn. Our breakfast was delicious and again, the thoughtful beauty of the tables made us feel welcome and quite comforted during our stress. We look forward to someday visiting Anderson, SC to see the continued growth of the area and wonderful educational and church communities. Our thanks always for the kindness shown at Bleckley Inn.

Great room, chocolates on bed, beautiful old world style with modern twist, snacks and cookies and milk provided at bed time. Breakfast was amazing. Bathroom was huge. I didnt want to leave. Only complaint, toilet tissue was a little thin. But hey not a deal breaker. A must stay inn.

The Bleckey Inn is amazing! We had our small, intimate wedding here in the dining room a few weeks ago and Shelby and the staff were absolutely the best! They helped to make the day perfect! Shelby is very knowledgeable and accommodating and made sure that every wish I had and the vision I had come to life. The staff was great with set up and clean up for the wedding as well! The rooms awesome too! We had out of town and out of state guests and everyone loved their rooms and breakfast! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here to tour colleges. I am very cautious of hotels I book. After, doing some research, I found The Bleckley Inn.When we arrived at the hotel it was what I expected and more! The pictures online are accurate. The front desk staff was helpful and very friendly. The hotel is beautiful, classical and up-to-date. Our room was just how it was pictured online. Our 2 queen bed room was spacious with tall ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors, spacious bathroom, Keurig coffee/tea maker in room and comfortable bed with clean white linens. My family loved the milk and fresh cookies in the hall every night. The breakfast was not a typical breakfast buffet, it was more an elegant sit down breakfast buffet with my family. The food was freshly made and the chef even came out and made sure everything was perfect. We loved every minute staying here and would definitely stay here again!

Had the best stay at The Bleckley Inn for my husbands birthday. Plaza room 101 was gorgeous and very comfortable. We enjoyed the Main Street view and the convenience of being so close to restaurants. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The amenities of the room were perfect - we look forward to staying again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night to just get away, even though we live in the area. The accommodations were very cozy. It was nice to have milk and cookies available after we came back from dinner. We had a great time and hope to visit again.

My wife and I had our wedding here in April, we both absolutely loved The Bleckley Inn! The rooms were incredibly nice. The staff were super nice and the breakfast was amazing ! Seriously tho, the breakfast might be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.

This is a top-drawer place for breakfast. We had the brunch which meant we could go and graze for almost anything we would want. Ambience is very fine and staff is most pleasing. This is a one-of-a-kind place that is well worth visiting.

Phenomenal rooms, guest services and event accomodations.We chose the Bleckley Inn for our wedding reception and we were beyond pleased. Shelby was our coordinator and she did an exceptional job. She was always available, organized and accommodating. Additionally, the event rooms, services and food were all lovely. Our guests also shared the same compliments.

I have to say, I wasnt expecting a ton of luxury from a hotel in Anderson, SC. Was in town for a friends wedding and this was convenient as the ceremony and reception were on site. Rooms were reasonably priced and it seemed like a neat place. Living in Charleston myself, Im familiar with quaint b&bs and small boutique hotels. This is up there with the best there is. The bedding was fantastic, the bathroom was extremely large, the shower was modern and large, the TV was excellent size and brand new. Most of all, the staff is super friendly. I dont write many reviews but felt compelled to give my thoughts here as our stay was fantastic. This is a perfect little gem in Anderson and fits right in with the community there. Its a mix of old lodge feel with modern updates everywhere. The breakfast was top notch as well. Many Thanks!

A beautiful little inn! Redone by locals featuring local artists on the walls (my very own mother!) Adjacent to the Church Street Heritage project and all of downtown Anderson. Very charming and cozy. Its the only place Id stay if I were visiting!

Awesome place. I have a time share through Wyndham and we always stay in really nice suite/condo style rooms when we go on vacation. Wyndham wasnt an option for us on this one day trip to Anderson so I looked for something similar and came across The Bleckley Inn. We stayed in suite 14 in the main building and it was simply amazing. The room was perfect it, it was so much nicer than the Wyndham rooms we get which is very surprising because the rooms at most Wyndham resorts are great. The best part of our stay though was the bed. It was so soft and comfortable, it almost rivaled our temperpedic at home. My wife commented it was like sleeping on a cloud. We also felt very safe the police department is across the parking lot and its right next to the court house. It was a kinda expensive but well worth it. Will definitely stay again.

Reserve your room months in advance. Cyshey beds, crispy clean, 1 block from the center of town, restaurants and the art center. Safe secure town center., Low traffic, low key all around but night life if you want it. Town drunk is hillarious 🤔 might be a pro in disguise.

My fiance and I attended a wedding a couple of weekends ago and had the pleasure of staying at The Bleckley Inn. We stayed in one of the Dickson Suites and it was an extremely enjoyable experience. The Dickson Suites have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and what feels like condo living with the living room, dining room and amazing kitchen. We also were able to participate in the breakfast at the Bleckley Inn and it was delicious, I highly recommend going to breakfast during your stay, it was worth it. I loved that the inn is located in the middle of downtown Anderson, for all of the wedding activities, we just walked to each destination. Ive had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they were very hospitable and accommodating to any of our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here while in Anderson, SC or even to go on a staycation - the facility is amazing and the service is wonderful.

Cannot say enough - I love planning business travel around staying at this place - breakfast is top notch, accommodations are like home, staff is incredible. I enjoyed it so much so that I opted to have our company retreat at the hotel and even did a presentation what phenomenal customer service their team has and what an amazing attention to detail they present. Of course our employees repeatedly spoke of how beautiful the hotel was and how they felt like kings and queens! Shelby helped me coordinate every detail and even facilitated catering in lunch and recommended a point of contact at Sullivans for our over the top dinner. If you just want a great stop through visit, a weekend getaway, or a meeting that is going to be truly memorable for a team you want to express some great appreciation to - this is your spot !!!

Awesome hotel and INCREDIBLE staff. My wife and I stayed here while visiting Anderson with our 3-year old daughter and we were blown away by their hospitality, friendliness, and willingness to go above and beyond. The breakfast was great and our room was tremendous. Definitely would recommend for anyone visiting this part of SC to stay here and enjoy the best that Anderson has to offer!

I visited the Bleckley Inn for an event. The staff was very friendly and the room was beautiful wood with nice architecture details. The tables were nicely decorated with cloth covers and live flowers.

This is the beat hotel that Ive ever visited. The service I received was superb. Sunset window view, hardwood floors, and the complimentary country breakfast were great addition.

The event spaces and room were beautiful, and the staff were extremely courteous. The breakfast was delicious as well! Our only complaint was that the bed was so soft that my wife and I both woke up with sore backs (we are in our late 20s)!

I attended a wedding here in October 2016. The venue is very nice and has lots of space. However, it was difficult to find -- not very noticeable from a moving car. Many other guests at the wedding experienced likewise.

Came for my brothers wedding, and as soon as I checked in I felt relaxed and at ease. The staff was great and very cordial . The breakfast buffett was good as well. Will definitely recommend.

Went as a caller for an event. Inn was VERY nice, and also had a homey feel without feeling small or unprofessional. Very clean on the inside, clearly premium. Staff was very courteous as well when asked questions. Didnt stay there overnight, but certainly would.

Great place for a wedding. Lots of room and so many activities like dancing and a photo booth. Very good food and wine.

Stayed here last year on our annual visit to our alma mater, Clemson University. Cannot say enough about this place. Everything here was top notch, including the service. The spacious room was truly special with super comfortable bedding, gorgeous furniture, and very tasteful decorating. The complimentary daily breakfast was fresh and delicious. Everything about this hotel speaks to the owners attention to detail. The hotel staff were extremely gracious and hospitable. They even put out delicious homemade late night snacks for us each night. Beautiful hardwood floors and solid wood doors and granite countertops in every room. Gorgeous! Southern Charm at its best!
