Spoke with Rhonda who was super helpful with getting my grandmother set up with a repair man for their AC. They had a technician at the house in less than 24 hours. Kevin arrived right on time and did a fantastic job. He laid out exactly what was wrong with the AC, and informed me of the different repair/replacement options that were available as well as the pros and cons of each avenue. I was very impressed with this company. The gentleman, Del showed up on time. He introduced himself to me, and was very professional. He explained exactly what was wrong with the units, and went right to work. He kept me informed along the way, which I think is very good. I also give Rhonda a 5 star. She is the receptionist and was so nice to explain the process about the technician would call before he came out. All in all I would highly recommend this company.

I have had a maintence contract with electric city for close to 20 years, on 2 different houses. on june 1, they came out promptly and on time, like always. i had a leak in my coil under the house. the tech looked at the manufacturing date on my unit, and said it may still be under warranty. (electric city didnt install it.). i never even thought about it. they called the manufacturer and found it was still under warranty. they are having a new coil shipped to them and then will install it. their honesty, and thoughtfulness saved me over $2000.00. i am very appreciative

I have used for annual maintenance on HVAC unit for several years. Always a professional, but friendly person shows up to handle service. This year I switched to a new type of thermostat. Only cost for 50% of part and no labor because I had an annual contract. I pay monthly which helps me with budgeting. All around - a good deal.

We have used Electric City Heating & Cooling, formerly Stiles, for the last 8 years for the maintenance of our units. Also had to have a couple of emergency heating calls. They are very prompt and professional and just great people to deal with. Rhonda in the office will schedule your service at a time convenient for you. Del is our Service Technician who is knowledgeable and efficient at servicing our units. Our unit is 21 years old and we have decided to replace it. After receiving proposals from several HVAC companies we chose to have Electric City install our new unit after working with Josh to determine the system that would best fit our requirements. Will post again after our new unit is installed next week.

After several estimates for a American Standard heat pump, I was most impressed with the discussion of product details and installation with Josh. Costumer service with Josh, Rhonda at the office and the installers was excellent. The heat pump is running beautifully and we are delighted with our decision to go with Electric City Heating and Cooling.

Josh came on Thursday to check my air conditioning for a possible dehumidifier. I have used your company since 2009. He is an excellent representative of your company!He took time to check the attic and underneath my house. I have been having a humidity problem and mold issues in a wall in my kitchen. Called for service on a Sunday evening. The Tech we spoke too told us what could be the issue and to check it. It was late in the day and they would not be able to get a tech out until the next day. These guys are nothing short of awesome!Competent, Reliable, & Honest, ...they provided me with the best pricing in Anderson, SC. If you need AC work, call them.My main AC unit went out in March and it could not have been at a worse time. I was trying to make arrangement with other companies for a complete install. I was recommended to Electric City H&C through a member of my Sunday school class. E H&C promptly worked me into their schedule and their pricing was well below my other quotes. Josh and the install team are top shelf. They were on time and had my new unit installed and working perfectly by mid afternoon. 5 Star !!!

When our old HVAC system failed we got quotes from several vendors. Josh from Electric City listened and offered us several options while one competitor only wanted to sell us on one high end unit. When it came time to install the new unit they continued to listen, addressing any of my concerns and politely answering all of my question. They worked hard through the day. The new thermostat arrived at their shop late in the day of the installation. Josh went back to the shop to get it even though he could have left us with a running system (using our old thermostat). He stayed to nearly 7 PM to insure the job was complete. We would be happy to use them again.

We have two dogs and a cat and they installed a device that eliminated any pet odors. They were very professional and their device also kills molds and viruses. I recommend them.

I had an HVAC system installed by the previous owner of this company in 2012. That installation was very problem ridden.Lately, problems started occurring due to improper installation.I called what I thought was the company which installed the HVAC system only to find out it had been sold to new owners. Electric City Heating and Cooling. I told them of the current problem and my history of issues with the old company. They pulled my file and immediately offered to correct my current issues.One of the new owners responded at my house the NEXT day and had it repaired at NO cost.OUTSTANDING customer service!!!I certainly recommend them to anyone needing heating and air conditioning maintenance or purchase of new equipment.

We had an entire new HVAC system installed by Electric City Heating and Cooling when we finished our basement. We worked with Josh, and could not have been more pleased. Deceptive business practice. Had a tech come to install a new thermostat we have and filter. Turns out that if the thermostat was not bought from them they charge a very high fee for installation, and the filter didnt need to be changed. The tech left without performing any service and charged my wife $80 for the visit (I was not home at the time). I called the office the next day and they said $80 is what they charge for a standard inspection. (The tech was down in the crawl space for a total of ~5 minutes to look at the heater). I tried to express to them that $80 seems quite unreasonable for this, they said thats what it is and all their customers should know that (yes I certainly know that now); at no point prior to the visit they ever told us their standard is to charge you $80 to come and park in your driveway and leave without performing any service. What a convenient way to make money.I went on to the Better Business Bureau website to file this incident, and realized that their business is not BBB accredited, so beware when you deal with this merchant.

Cost $218 parts and labor for a $10 shipped Capacitor thats listed all over Ebay ? I understand they have overhead and got to mske a living, but charging $115 for the same Capacitor is very Wrong !!! Say $30 wpuld be high enough This is a very common item to be replaced every 4 to 6 years. Can take about 15 mins to change . . Very Sad, why so greedy and unfair. ????Note : if fan outside not running or compressor not running, its 90 percent chance its a Capacitot gone bad,,,, they are dual start,,, they start the compressor or the fan . They will go bad over time, as mentioned . Heck, Doctors dont charge that kind of money and they go to college for 12 years and have way more overhead. !!! Thats right uh huh !!!!!
