The technician was professional and courteous. Very helpful and if he didnt have an answer for me he made sure to get it. Repaired our fridge and its going strong.
So I used Sears appliance through my home warranty. Took the day off and the guy never showed. However, Sears lied and they did show up. Now I have to pay a $75 service fee for a guy who didn’t show up. So now not only am I out of a days work but also $75. Do not use this company. I called multiple times and they didn’t know what to do. How about you pay me back my $75 and do some training on honesty....
The person who set up the appointment promised a senior discount of 15% when asked if there was one. The repair person (who was nice and efficient) said a discount was not indicated on the order he had. While he was here I contacted the repair service number and was told they didnt give discounts even though she asked for a discount coupon number which was never given me. Being on a fixed income, this lack of follow through on what was promised is very distressing. I doubt I will use Sears Appliance repair again.
After reading some other reviews I see that I am not alone. We have been dealing with a broken refrigerator for about 3 months and here I sit waiting again for the tech to show to an appointment. They have no-showed, they have been late and they have continued to NOT fix the issue. I will never do business with Sears again! Honestly, I have totally lost track of how many time they have scheduled us and just not shown.
I cant list the service that they completed because we have been waiting for over a month for them to fix our fridge. The Sears warranty is a scam, dont waste your money.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Our appointment was rescheduled three times prior to their repairmen attempting to fix our Kenmore fridge. The fridge still doesnt keep cool and a repair follow up was requested, you guessed it appointments was cancelled and we are currently waiting to have a repairman fix our fridge. We are currently on one month with no fridge, their customer service promises to have someone call you within 3-4 hours because we are on an emergency appointment list ; they never called or an appointment was never scheduled. Just wanting a refund on my money and will take my repair service elsewhere. Waste of time / money.UPDATE: WE ARE 2 MONTHS into this process and our fridge is still not working!! This is a total joke of a company. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN FROM THEM!
Worse customer service and work ever had. Finally fixed refrigerator 30 days without and over 3 sevice calls would not use them again.
They were very thorough and checked on a concern that I had about an unusual noise when the washer was filling up that had recently started.
The Service person was great. He was on time and promptly identified and fixed my combination microwave/convection oven. HOWEVER, THE SERVICE WAS GREATLY OVERPRICED BY SEARS.
They close our ticket and never came to do the repairs. Theyre worthless and thieves.

The serviceman did an outstanding job with my riding lawn mower. Unfortunately, I had to wait weeks to get an appointment date, only to find out that when the serviceman arrived, he did not have blades for my mower. I had to reschedule the appointment and wait another two weeks for the serviceman to return. Sears initially wanted me to pay separately for the blades so they could be placed on order, even though the blades came in a packaged deal that Sears was offering at the time. A terrible experience with Sears, but the serviceman was excellent.
Original appointment was 7/26. We needed 1) icemaker repaired and 2) freezer door handle reattached. Tech said we had to order parts, which we did.He returned today to finish.1) He did not install new icemaker, which he never took out of box. It is still in original packaging.2) He did not repair door handle, and did not leave the part he ordered.We paid $942.86 for parts and labor, and neither problem has been fixed. The icemaker is not working, and the door handle is not attached.Cannot get a person on the phone via your contact number.He did not communicate any information about the repairs that would explain why he left things as he did. He did communicate, however, his bitterness about the number of service calls he had left to do today.Terrible, expensive failure.

Nothing was done, Im very unsatisfied. I was told my refrigerator, installed by Sears years ago, was installed incorrectly by the Sears installer. The legs were not leveled at the time of installation, causing my refrigerator to lean forward. Even though its never been moved, I was told its been so long the current service agreement doesnt cover that. Therefore, the repair man cant do anything about it. So, my refrigerator leaks water on all shelves and fills the vegetable drawers with water. This is causing mold on my vegetables and items to freeze.
Its now been eight (8) times in three months and we still have no ice maker. First time all the technician said was the ice is stuck, flicked it off and said its good to go, however this is still ongoing. THE only good thing is we purchased extended warranty, other than that, I simply dissatisfied with everything this repair center has done.

Unfortunately, the repair to our ice-maker required four (4) visits spanning the 1.5 months that we were without ice. The technician that finally proved capable attended to the 2nd & 4th (final) visit. One extra week of delay was waiting for a part, and a second week was missed because the dispatcher forgot to put us down.
The service tech did a great job. He had a little trouble and had to call for a service manual and they got it figured out quick.Thanks for the Good work
My experience with Sears has been a nightmare and I will never spend another dime with this company. I bought the top of the line refrigerator, which is the Kenmore Elite. I paid 2400.00 for a lemon appliance, plus the so called protective agreement. Im writing this review on September 1, 2016 and my refrigerator stopped working on July 21, 2016. I am at this very moment waiting for resolve on this worthless appliance. Forty three days later and they will still find a reason to not replace the refrigerator. Even the local sales associates and managers are not able to understand why Sears will not simply replace the obviously unrepairable item. To date, the circuit board, the compressor, the compressor starter and two other items called dryers have been replaced and the refrigerator still doesnt work. After the repair failed, I called the customer relations department and spoke with a reasonable person. (finally) She stated Mr. Smith, this refrigerator has cost our company almost more money than the refrigerator is worth and I think its about time to replace the item. After being on hold for a while, she advised me that I could find another refrigerator on line or go in to my local Sears store. The sales associates at the store called to get an authorization number and were denied the number and advised that the refrigerator and customer will have to undergo another repair attempt before their policy would allow them to replace the item. I then took the phone from the associate and argued about the inconvenience of having to eat out every day for, at that time, 38 days. Having to buy ice for drinks everyday, unable to replace the food lost because of not having any way to refrigerate the food and the September 1st repair time will be the fifth time Ive had to take off work and meet a repairman. The representative on the phone did not relent and continued stating that there has to be three installments of parts attempts made before the item can be replaced. No matter how much it inconvenience the customer. Five parts have been replaced. However, since they were replaced within two attempts, I did not qualify for replacement, (no matter how much I have been inconvenienced eating out and taking off work).First of all, the protective agreement states that Sears will repair or replace the item. To repair the item, they will inconvenience the customer by sending parts to the home, rather than sending them to the repairman or store. In my case, it was a compressor, a compressor starter and two other parts called dryers. It wasnt so much as having the parts at my home, but it was the length of time before the repairman would return. Also Sears wants to turn your home into a appliance repair shop. The extent of my repair issues should have been done in a shop, not in my kitchen on new hardwood floors. Im thankful that no damage occurred because if it had, I would have spent months calling 800-numbers and being placed on hold for hours only to be answered by a robot trying to get my floors repaired.IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT IT WILL MOST ALWAYS BE 6-8 DAYS BETWEEN APPOINTMENT DAYS AND OFTEN EVEN LONGER, Thus the current 43 days without a refrigerator that I paid almost 3000.00, including the worthless protection agreement.In my opinion, due to the unbelievable lack of service, uncaring, unconcern for customers I experienced from Sears, it explains why a business that my family has used since my beginning is closing some of its doors and rightfully so. My family has bought all their appliances at Sears for many years. Anytime something went wrong with any appliance, my dad would simply say, lets go to sears and find another one. When it came my time to make decisions for my family, it was automatically, lets go to sears. Never again! I will not even buy a pair of Levis from sears. I am on a mission to tell as many people as possible to not shop at sears. I am not a social media guy, but I will sign up for every social media outlet available to WARN against shopping SEARS!!!!!
If a repair-person is sent to repair an appliance, it seems logical that he would (1) have read the repair request (2) have the most common element that could potentially need replaced such as a seal or gasket (3) have his name on his uniform
So my son goes to Sears and buys me Kenmore stove and refrigerator to help build up his credit ALMOST a year ago and I payed it off maybe a month ago and then th fan motor went out, I was without a refrigerator for 5 weeks and it seems like since I wasnt paying for it that they didnt care how long it took, and on top of that the first service guy that came out said that if it wasnt under warranty that he would charge me 400$ plus to come out here and fix it..... for a 39$ part. are u kidding me????? Then the second service guy comes out and the first thing he does is ask to use the restroom, ... I was hesitant at first but said OK, well he was in there for like 15 min..... What kind of service is that??? I had to pay someone else to come fix it for me..... I will NEVE EVER buy from Sears again!!!

The first repair call resulted in the tech not having the right parts in his truck. So he had to order the parts and we had to wait 10 days for the tech to come back to make the repairs. Second repair call - This was the techs first time to make a repair call solo. He made the repairs and the dryer runs just fine. Unfortunately, he broke the plastic clips that hold the control console firmly to the dryer. So now the console wobbles. He also did not replace all of the screws in the back of the machine. But the most aggravating thing was that he didnt tell my wife that he had broken our dryer. He just said goodbye and walked out the door. Third repair call - I called to have someone come out and fix it. The next available slot is 11 days from now. But Im getting smarter, while on the phone with the customer rep I asked her order the plastic clips now so they will be at the house when the tech shows up. She looked up the schematic and ordered the parts. I gave her the techs ID # and asked her to send someone else. Finally, I asked her to tell the tech to remember to bring a screw driver to replace the screws, but if he forgets he can borrow mine.
It Took 3 Service men to fix the washer. It should of took 1 and it took over a month to get it all done.
It took several tries but the problem causing severe vibration was corrected. I was very happy that the part was on the truck with the repair person. Most of the time, there has been additional wait time while a part was ordered.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been trying for over a month to schedule a repair after a service call and I have been yelled at, hung up on, redirected for 45 minute and hour long sessions and still have no resolution. I have never had this much difficulty giving someone business. If there was any other option in town I would have stopped trying with Sears long ago.
Sears parts direct talked me into buying parts withou letting me know my master service agreement was still in effect, I bought a ice cube tray and dispenser solinoed, door light switch freezer lite board and had to make an appointment for service tech to show up without parts to fix the problem, he did order the part so I could fix it myself! I feel like Sears Home Services knowingly ripped me off!!!
It took over 1 month to get my refrigerator repaired and then it whent out again 3 days later.
Sears was a total ripped off!! I gave them 500+ dollors and my fridge is still not working 2 months later. They keep rescheduling the date and would not give a refund. Dont trust this company . Total waste of money

It took 4 service calls, 3 different workers. Over 3 weeks without a working washer. Still had to pay some when I had already paid up front and had been told that everything would be covered.
The serviceman was prompt and fixed our refrigerator issue. I appreciate the work ethic we have had with Sears repairmen.
My service was beyond a nightmare wemail waited over a month to have our refrigerator fixed and 2 appointments later (after they cancelled) it finally was. I also asked to speak with the manager of repairs he said he couldnt give out his number surprise and I said than here is my number and let him know Ill be waiting for a call. Well its been a week still havent heard from them! Will never buyou another thing from them. Terrible service!!!

Didnt like that repairman treated my wife like she was an idiot. Dryer wouldnt act up in front of him so my wife was treated badly.
