I went to get my haircut at Floyd’s, I was supposed to get a skin fade with about 1 inch off the top, after the haircut was done I noticed the left side looked a little weird and so then I grabbed the barbers card and took it to my car, upon further inspection the left side was barely faded and very rounded, the back of was also poorly faded and the right side looked fine, I went back in to tell the barber(David S) that I wanted him to go over the fade again since he didn’t do a good job. He said that he didn’t know what I was talking about and wasn’t skilled enough to fix what he messed up. You shouldn’t be working there if you have to say that about your haircuts. I was about to leave and a woman named FeliCa said she could fix it, and she had fade higher to fix the haircut. I’m never getting my haircut there again, I would rate this place lower than 1 star if I could.

Love getting my hair cut here. Great music and great cut. I really appreciate that I dont have to worry about appointments because everyone has been great. But Ill definitely ask for Stephen next time as he was especially awesome.

Ive been coming to this place since it opened, and my most recent visit will be my last as the quality has done nothing but drop. Apparently a medium fade isnt taught in cosmetology school anymore because none of the girls can do one properly. I have even gone so far as to show them a picture of myself with the exact cut I want, and they still cant replicate it. I was excited when this location opened near me due to Floyds reputation for affordable mens haircuts, but I will be going elsewhere for my next one.

Lots of the ladies that work there smoke and smell like smoke. They are in a rush and care very little to do a great job. They are almost like robots. This place used to be classy. Now it’s no different than a Supercuts only with loud music. However, I would recommend David. If I can just review him I’d give him 5stars. He’s always full. The rest, and I’ve tried a few now, 1-2 stars at best.

Ashley is the best! Very nice and knows how to cut hair the way you want it.

First time visiting this location and I can honestly say I enjoyed my experience. Dora cut my hair today and she was simply amazing! We shared laughs and stories in the time I was there. This was the first time having her cut my hair but she made me feel like we’d known each other for years. Haha Will definitely be returning and booking Dora for my haircuts!

My son was looking for a new barber in town. He has a very particular mother with high demands on professionalism and quality. Felicia knocked it out the park without any problems. Definitely will recommend. Thanks again Felicia you did amazing.

I raised my rating to 5 stars because now I have a barber I can regularly go to at this location. I highly recommend asking for David if you want a nice fade. Hes very kind, takes his time, and does exactly what you want done to your hair. The location is clean and decorated pretty well. I suggest you call in ahead of time because they can get busy.

I used to frequent the Addison location several years ago and the service/haircut quality was pretty good there. However, the Allen location has a lot of catching up to do. I wont be back.

Amazing place, the cust serv is off the charts, Kathryn k is the complete package she can do it all, she is a magician with the blade. I was more than impressed, with the knowledge and the experience. Im a regular cust now after 1 visit.

Asked for fade in the back, the barber didnt bother showing art work with the hand held mirror. When i got home and felt the back of head, noticed portions of longer strands and no fade. Forced gel in my hair, didnt shave the neck or offer the hand held massager when the dude next to me was offered. I was actually going to ask to have my hair shampooed as the hair bothers me since i had to do grocery shopping right after but that too was skipped. Would have left a nice tip for just what i thought was part of what sets floyds apart from supercuts. It was my first haircut in a year.. boy was i disappointment. The barber didnt introduce herself either. Seems like either i will go back to doing myself or driving a little further where the staff is not in hurry to get people out of the chair and is standoffish. Stay home if you dont want to serve paying customers! Cost me approximately $40. Never again.

Today I stopped in for a haircut as the boss (my wife) said my hair was getting a little out of hand. I had been to this location 3 times before and had 3 different stylist, all of who did a great job and were very friendly. Today I did as always and walked in without an appointment and was greeted promptly by the receptionist who got my temp and checked me in. I was assigned to Kathryn who didn’t appear to be stoked to be at work in the first place. I started off by asking how her day was and got no response. As soon as I was seated I noticed a plaque next to her name plate that said “I’m kind of a big deal” so I attempted to make a joke “So I guess you’re kind of a big deal” to which I merely got “That’s what they say”. I’m not looking for your life story but having small talk while getting your hair cut helps to pass the time and make people feel good. I’m not sure what her deal was today but it didn’t make me want to come back or leave her a tip even though I know tips are what a lot of stylist love off of. When she finished cutting my hair I wasn’t offered a wash and style or even the “complimentary neck massage”. I plan to come back for my next haircut but I guess from now on I’ll have to make sure she isn’t working so I don’t get stuck with someone who clearly hates their job so much.

Have always came out just fine until today. I got my hair cut by an older asian lady (not sure of her name) and received a haircut not even close to what I asked her. came in with a mullet with 3 or inches of length in the back and left with it taken clean off after asking for an inch off. I told her to do a 3 on the sides but I got a 3 all around. If your haircut is anything other than a buzzcut, insist on someone else because this lady does not understand English.

The ladies are very courteous at the reception desk, the salon is clean and Karla is an excellent stylist/barber. She has done a wonderful job every time. Perfect haircut, and a very relaxing experience always.

WORSE experience ever!!! There is so much bad energy at this place. I was there with my kids and see every customer upset about their haircut and communication with the staff. Looks like they do not want to help customers or work. I will never refer or recommend anybody to this barbershop !!!

My boyfriend and I went into this business with very high expectations and left disappointed. The stylist named “KK” did not preform the correct technique to cut his hair, for she left long pieces and did not do anything similar what he requested. She was not friendly and the environment throughout the whole establishment was hectic. Will not be recommending to place to anyone.

I came in with an hour to close and told they are done for the night due to low staffing. This is the second time this has happened. It’s nearly impossible to get a haircut or anything done working the night shift with poor business practices like this.

Just moved to the area after living in SoCal most of my life. Tried Floyds out for the first time. Staff was very friendly and my experience was great! Jessica did a fantastic job on my hair. Will absolutely go back and recommend to others.

Wanted to say thank you to kristyne. She managed to squeeze me in her already busy day. I had a great experience there. She’s funny she carries on a conversation and gave me a great cut. She’s happy to be there and it shows in work. If you want a great cut at a good price with someone who cares how you look and won’t rush you out, ask for Kristyne.

Go to any of the other close locations if you value your hair style. Worst cut I’ve gotten from any Floyd’s and in general.Not even an objectively bad one like length or weird bangs. Genuinely cut about an inch into the top of my head (think REALLY high and tight or a Mohawk) when I asked for a medium fade lol. Cut into my hairline as well and made them do a weird arch above my eyebrows. I’m shaving it later as I have to look professional for my job.She could’ve been blind, so I still tipped and left. Front desk was nice though as usual.

Checked in online, was in and out for my 13 year old sons hair cut within 30 minutes.... highly recommend... very friendly

BRING YOUR OWN THERMOMETER! I showed up for my appointment and was turned away because I measure the temperature of 102°. After returning home, I took my temperature again and measured at 97.7. Either their thermometer is broken, where it took out of the wrong greeting because I was cooking in my car waiting to actually get into the place. I promise if I had a 102° fever, a haircut would not be the first thing on my mind.

If you have a newbie with no experience, please don’t put them on floor to cut hair. I walked out with terrible haircut after 40 mins of sitting there and wasting time. I had to just get up and get out. Came home and had my girlfriend clean up and cut an inch off my hair on top. I have been going to this Floyd since they opened but maybe go somewhere else now.

Was told an hour, but still waiting 90 minutes later. So probably best to make appointment on busy days like Sunday. Still great atmosphere and good cuts.

I think that thermometer is broken. I showed up for an appointment and they measured me at 102°. Apparently they think someone with a 102° is still able to get out of bed for a haircut. They of course turned me away and wouldn’t let me schedule again that day. Pretty outrageous if you ask me.
