Bridges has been a godsend to our family for our son. He didnt fit in at daycare and they determined they could not meet his special needs. We were referred to Bridges through one of his doctors and i have to say they were exactly what he needed! His BCBA designed a plan and sets goals geared towards his needs and reassess as he learns and grows. Throughout the day he has someone who works with him one-on-one. They are teaching him how to communicate in a different way, as he is non-verbal. The staff is very attentive and always professional.
Bridges is the place to get your child evaluated for autism and receive services. Their staff is professional and dedicated to the profession. They are quick to respond. When we suspected our child had autism, we called them for an evaluation and did not have to wait months or even years like most places. Highly recommend!!!!
Bridges is a wonderful place about a year ago my son started there. All the staff is so nice and caring. I have seen my son improve in so many area in just a years time. Starting talking etc ect... Nothing but good things to say about bridges. You guys rock. Highly recommend.
I’m so grateful to have found Bridges, Inc. My child has severe autism. When myson was younger, Bridge’s provided training and guidance for our home ABA program that lasted five years. Now that my child is a young adult, I needed assessments and documentation for his current levels and abilities. Dr. Kovatch provided great reports with insight and recommendations. Bridges developed a new ABA program for us now as our needs changed. Everything was individualized to my son’s levels and abilities. My input as a parent was included in all goals and decisions.Bridges Inc. Is very professional and handles all insurance and paperwork promptly and clearly. My experience with Bridges is extremely positive. I very much needed help, and everyone was caring and knowledgeable. When my son is making progress and connecting with the therapists, I know that we are all on the right track. I appreciate the professionals from Bridges for their compassion and specialized training for special needs children.
Bridges has been there for my family since before we got our son’s autism diagnosis. They helped us find a place to get his evaluation done (now they do evaluations there). After, they helped us figure out which services were best for our son and made getting services started as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Our son has made incredible progress since starting a year ago at the center. They also helped us diagnose our other son and get him started right away with services, even during the pandemic! He has already been showing progress! The care and dedication they have for our sons is incredible. They have become like family. Their center and at home services have not only been a tremendous help to our sons but also to us. We have learned so much from them. I can’t express enough how thankful I am for Bridges and the amazing people who work there!
When my son was diagnosed with Autism in 2010 Bridges and Stacy were the only company offering services in the area, working with schools so that educators understood what having a child with autism in their class meant. Since then so many lives have been touched by Bridges as they continue to meet the needs of the autism community. Partnering with Community Organizations has always been important to Bridges and that is important to me!
I was so excited to get a place for my son for ABA therapy. Boy was I in for disappointment. I was an open book about every thing to do with my son I was told by S.B and the other person N that they were not an issue I was reassured by both that they had other children there with similar or more serious medical issues. We did all paperwork and made both appointments (we live out of town) we met the ABA therapist and went over everything he had a start date (so exciting) the night before his start day we received an email that due to food allergy he was no longer accepted and they were sorry. Also there was incorrect information on their review. I emailed N back and we also tried to call her and no response was mad on their part. This was the most disappointing experience there was no follow up with us there was just nothing. This place was a medical referral from our pediatrician and to my knowledge they should not have done that. I thought everything was great in the beginning and even if they didn’t accept him, a response or any type of professionalism from them would have been nice like I said we tried to call I did send an email. They did not handle this situation correctly and they were completely tactless. NM has very little options for Autism services and I hope they do not do this to another family.
They are wonderful. My grandson has made great progress working with the caring, knowledgeable staff.
We have been with Bridges for years and their services have been effective for our family. While the COVID-19 issues caused many problems for many of us, their agency and staff have been effective at communicating and accommodating us within this changing environment. As a result, there have been few gaps in services and it has helped our family manage the constantly changing circumstances we are currently facing with school closures and the limited availability of other activities.
We were living in Tucson, AZ when we first got our son’s diagnosis of autism. We got a recommendation for therapy over there and had it for about six months until we decided that the therapy wasn’t what we wanted for him. They used ABA that was traditional feeling due to repetition until gotten right which would typically lead to tantrums. We decided to move to Los Lunas where our son’s family doctor recommended Bridges. I was cautious at first because I feel using the sonrise method is the best for my son, and most places still use ABA. To be honest I am not sure if this is ABA because they pick programs for a kid by analyzing his behavior over time, but this place is the bees knees. We’re talking always listening to my input, making learning fun, pairing my son with other kids that have strengths in areas my son does not to help him learn. Since we’ve been here for about 4 months my little man has developed in speech, behavior, and communicating his needs/feelings. I couldn’t recommend a better place!
Bridges has been providing services for those affected by autism in Albuquerque for over 20 years. Being locally owned and operated is important to my family and I when choosing a provider. Their staff is professional and friendly
Excellent school, the staff is so friendly and professional. Our child has improved in a just a short amount of time.
Bridges is a great place to work! It is highly rewarding working with children and families.
Staff here are incredibly professional! They really care about continuity of service of care. Their BCBAs all come with plenty of experience and individualize their treatment plans. Life changing organization!
I’m extremely unhappy with this place we’ve only been here for three weeks! They make up lies! To cancel your services! Please do your research before picking this place! Lesson learned!!
This place is a joke went trough hoops and did everything they needed and wanted to get my child accepted they called me up and said my child was accepted two weeks befor his starting day then they have the nerve to call late afternoon the day before his start date to say my kid was no longer accepted after I had to changed my work schedule to accommodate there hours they gave me all kinds of excuses from allergies to what he eats and not being verbal
In my opinion it is an excellent school, my son has been there for almost 2 years and he has improved a lot in different areas, all the staff are very attentive and kind, thank you for your help !! ❤
