Chris Nolan has played at the north Valley senior center and the Whispering Pines Senior center and I had the chance to see both of his performances. He is an excellent musician and he played a wide range of music that was excellent for the audience. His music was very danceable, but also not so loud as to be uncomfortable for us seniors to speak to each other. He has a charming and friendly personality and is very approachable and likable. He is very sweet as bout playing special requests if he know them, and has even let some people who asked for songs he didnt know that he would learn them for when he returns.I do hope I will get an opportunity to hear Chris play again at the senior centers in town, and I would hire him for an event or party if I got the chance. I would definently recommend him for any of your music needs. I also understand that he teaches guitar and piano and I would think with his upbeat personality and patience he would be an excellent teacher.
Chris played Jethro Tull music for my birthday party. Great! Chris, email me please.
Very professional musician with many styles of music. Excellent teacher!
Chris Nolan performed-- at the celebration of Eva Wagner Cordovas 84th Birthday--Happy Birthday in both English and Spanish (Las Mananitas). In collaboration with Eve Cobos, song books were created and the event was a Smash! Chris Nolan performed such songs as Imagine, Here Comes The Sun,Leader Of The Band, and God Bless America for the sing-a-long. The dinner was also bilingual: enchiladas, sopapillas, Hamburger Fajitas, and Cranberry Relish. A birthday cake appeared with the birthday girls name on it. Guests were on their feet when their favorite songs were played. The surprise of the evening came when a country singer asked Chris Nolan to play a country song that he could join in with Nolan. No, the song was not Mama, Dont Let Your Baby Grow Up To Be A Cowboy. .
