I have used TLC for replacing Kitchen faucet and bathroom faucet and they were excellent. My 10 year old Hot water heater began making a popping noise and it couldnt be repaired due to a crack inside so I needed a replacement. I called TLC and they said they could be at my house the same day. Carlos the estimator gave me all of the quotes and answered all of my questions. Adam, Christopher, and I didnt get the third plumbers name, but they showed up and installed the new Hot water heater within 2 hours all up to code. Excellent employees. TLC is fantastic and will use them in the future for sure.

We had TLC replace our old air conditioner with a heat pump and our gas water heater with an electric model. The work they did was excellent, taking two days to complete the project. They brought everything up to code and installed a n additional electrical circuit to power the new air handler, using an existing conduit through which to run the line, thus minimizing the impacts to the walls. They also cleaned up the garage and installed a new thermostat. TLC did an excellent job and we are very pleased with their work.

We found a leak under our kitchen sink on a Saturday morning. TLC came out within a couple of hours (maybe even less) and were able to quickly fix the issue. I was very worried about the price of an emergency service on the weekend, but our repairman was extremely fair about the price and it was much cheaper than expected. I would definitely hire TLC again.

I have had a contract with TLC for 3 years and have been very satisfied with their service. However, when they came for regular maintenance to replace two filters and check my furnace which they have always done, I was told that the second filter was not one that they carry, and I would have to pay to have it replaced!! After three years of service, and always replacing both filters at not additional change now they tell me this!! I will not renew my contract with them. This is not how you treat a loyal customer!!

I have always had great results and great customer service with TLC.When I discovered a huge leak gushing from under my yard irrigation system, I called them immediately. Called last week for an estimate for a split unit installation quote. Left a voicemail for Carlos Robles. Carlos called back, I wasnt able to answer the call. Promptly called back and left a voicemail on his cell phone. Waited the remainder of the week for a call back, never happened. Called today and asked for another salesperson to work with and was advised hes the only contact. Working in construction myself, I understand the importance of customers as they pay the bills and keep the doors open. If the sales team has a backlog for call backs maybe TLC should get more sales people or a more effecient salesperson if they only have one point of contact. With as many HVAC companies Albuquerque has to offer, Id rather move on than deal with a company that has sales people that dont want to sell. Looking at the reviews online it seems I am not the only person with this problem.

From beginning to end this was a smooth process. First I had Riley out to give me the estimate to switch from a swamp cooler to refrigerate air. I also needed a new furnace and new water heater. He was extremely thorough in checking everything out and answering all of my questions. He talked to me in a way that I would understand everything. He gave me the proposal which I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when it came in lower than what I expected. After 1 last check of the panel I signed of and Riley started to look for the equipment. Because we are in the middle of the pandemic I knew that getting equipment could be hard. I received a text from Riley a few days later stating all the equipment was in stock and we were set for install. Monday rolled around and Buck the electrician showed up to do his part. Then Brian and Q showed up do do my install. Besides the rain storm everything went on as planned. The furnace was in and the ac was in as well. The next day we had two more electricians show up to finish the electrical part and John and Q got back to work finishing the job. Everyone who came to my home was beyond polite and professional. They did not leave a mess once while they were working. They even informed me of a possible issue I might have with my roof and directed me on who to call to have it checked out. Overall TLC was absolutely amazing I am so glad I decided to go with them over another company. You got a customer for life.

They explained what they were doing and why ever step of the way. They did not leave until they were completely done. I needed a new natural gas fired furnace. I had five companies come over and give me quotes on installing the same model furnace. I do this for all my projects. I throw out the highest and lowest and have three from which to choose. TLC was the highest.

Unfortunately, we’re very disappointed with our recent experience with TLC. We contacted them two months ago to come inspect our swamp cooler that was leaking. We were unable to use our AC at the time, and it was the hottest part of the summer. They told us they weren’t able to come for another two weeks, and even then, it was only an inspection for an estimate. We had to wait another two weeks before any repairs were made. We endured the entire month of June with no cooling in our home, until someone finally came out.Lenny came to our home and was able to get our unit working again. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and we were thankful for his services. However, there was major rust damage on our unit from previous owners, and much more work needed to be done. He gave us an estimate for the additional repairs and told us we would be contacted soon to schedule another appointment. We were never contacted. We called TLC three times over the following weeks to try and set up a time for the remaining work to be completed. Each time, the attendant on the other line was dismissive and unfriendly. We were told there was no record on file for us and that they would simply “call us back.” They never did.The message is loud and clear. They don’t want our business. So, they won’t have it.

In purchasing my home, the old furnace & AC needed to be replaced. I decided to go with refrigerated air. Chico & Jake came out and gave me an estimate. I was promptly scheduled. Called on a Saturday for a water leak from behind bathroom wall.200.00 and hr x 3.5 hrsParts- $130.00$871.00 for weekend service.Was left with 3 holes cut in my walls.Tech had to call multiple times to other employees as how to remove handle to shower head, plumbing and so on. Another tech had to come and assist the repair tech as to how to complete the repairs.

I got all the important information I needed over the phone from Riley who was very courteous, and set up an appointment. Our service tech, Shannon (sp?) and his team member were timely and professional. We had a broken outdoor hose bib which they evaluated. Shannon made sure to explain all the possible costs and repairs based on a number of escalating scenarios. I really appreciated him explaining the cost of the worst-case scenario before surprising us with it when there was no other choice. They were able to easily replace the bib and piping quickly and professionally. We really appreciated their hard work! Would definitely call them again!

Had a water leak over weekend in my front yard. TLC showed up promptly and did the work well. There was some miscommunication over cost, which TLC promptly resolved when I called the following day.

I had guests staying in my home and they said the garbage disposal wasn’t working. Because I was out of town, I called TLC to come and look at it. They pulled a shot glass out and charged me $135 for the visit. I didn’t object whatsoever but the gentleman I spoke with was rude in general and I will not be calling them again.

I called TLC to come hook up my evap. cooler for the season thinking they werent going to be able to fit me in for maybe at least a week out, but no, they were able to come the very next morning! And the technician, Albert, was on time, and genuinely friendly and courteous. He did a very thorough job in the assessment of my ac and what it needed to get it in good working order for the summer and so far, it is running fantastic, I highly recommend! Identified leak in water water main from street to house and dug 4ft 3 inches down to fix.Jeff, Mike, and Lucas were fantastic! Answered all my questions, showed me the part that failed. Jeff and Mike even came back a 2nd time to precisely locate the leak within inches during Lucas digging. I can not emphasize how helpful these 3 were and how TLC scheduled this right away - literally the same day. they pinpointed the break in the line they started digging. Other businesses (I wont name names) told me to wait until Friday just to even identify the leak, let alone fix. So bigtime kudos for responsive, quick, professional, and friendly service from TLC!

First I called the morning after I discovered a leak the previous night, and I was able to get on the schedule that next day. The plumber, Mike Martinez, was courteous and gave me a heads up call and a realistic timeline of his arrival. He helped me with a leak near my water heater. Mike was quick, friendly, and informative. He even took a quick look at another issue I had in the house that I wanted to try to fix myself and gave me some advice.Service was great and price was reasonable. Water heater failed unexpectedly, so I called TLC. They set up for a next day replacement and told me I would hear from someone midday. At 8 am, Gabriel called to ask if he could come get started, which was perfect. He was extremely professional and did an excellent job replacing the tank and bringing everything up to code. A couple of weeks ago, Marcus, Adrian, and Jose came to my daughter’s home to repair a hot water leak. It was a three day process. Their attitude and work ethic was nothing short of exceptional. Even though I spent my days off house sitting, I enjoyed having to watch them at work.Marcus and Adrian certainly had an expert knowledge of plumbing or the task at hand. It was amazing to see them work together as a team to fix an issue as they would come up. Mind you, they were working on an old home with extra work done on the original floor plan.Marcus was a great team leader assigning tasks to help speed the repairs, even minimal tasks such as maintaining the cleanliness of their work space. Their personality made me feel comfortable having strangers in the home and without a doubt very trustworthy personnel.I would recommend these personnel and TLC to anyone needing work done at their home. I give them 3.5 *** . As a small business owner I have used TLC many times. In December I called them to help me with my malfunctioning furnace. Over the next 2 months, they sent 4 technicians, 3 of whom could not figure out the problem, which ended up being a circuit board. The cost was to me $1000 instead of the $600 this service usually costs because I apparently had to pay each time for poorly trained technicians who did not understand and could not figure out the problem. Thanks to LaRae I was able to get a corrected invoice today for $700 total which is a fair price. I appreciate their concern to my review and the fast response from Becky. Like others I never received the estimates I had requested for both water heater and furnace replacement. Thank you for paying attention!!

I went with TLC plumbing for its fantastic reviews and they technically do a good job. Less than a year ago, i had them install a new water softener and it stopped functioning before 1 year. I figured there is full warranty for a year and then 10-15 years manufacturers warranty for parts. So instead of looking into it myself, i called them and told them what the issue was. They said its no problem, the system is under warranty and asked if the time slot worked for me.To my surprise, they charged me over $400 for a easy but time consuming repair. Extremely disappointed that first they did not do this for free, considering it was within the year and secondly they did not give any idea or estimate up front.The technician is solid technically and goes to show the reviews. But extremely disappointed with the warranty support and billing. Had i known, i would have done it myself. Sad to say, but i am not going to be calling TLC again or recommending them to anyone.****************I am going to leave the original details as is for why it was 1 star originally. Right after this review, i called Jay at TLC and told him about the charge. He looked into it and said he will talk with Becky and get back to me. He called me back within 10 minutes and said that they will do a refund for the labor charges. This is the level of service and professionalism i would expect and why they are at a 5 star rating.

Very happy with the service Chris Rendon provided. We called for an AC inspection before warmer weather sets in. Chris and his helper inspected our split system and cleaned the unit that is outside first. Then he came inside to check the furnace. At this time it was after 5 pm. Chris found our lower blower on the furnace to be very dirty and recommended having it cleaned due to the severity of it. He could have not mentioned it and wrapped up to leave - we would have never known about it. Chris though, being very professional, did make us aware of it and we agreed to have it cleaned. He stayed and cleaned it, taking his time. He made the blower look new again. His knowledge, professionalism, is very appreciated! This is why we go with TLC. Employees like Chris make TLC shine! Dont hesitate to get your AC inspected and cleaned! There may be a problem you are unaware of, like our dirty furnace blower. Thank you TLC! Chris is a great employee and asset to your company!

Chris Lucero in the drains department came to help us with an urgent matter concerning our sump pump which had been destroyed by a renter flushing all kinds of non-flushable items. It was an urgent matter because we had another renter coming in. In the same day he completely replaced the whole system that was destroyed. He was not only professional and courteous, but also kind and so helpful. I have the highest regard for Mr. Lucero and for TLC getting someone to us so quickly.

Great service. Technician Antonio Lujan was professional and knowledgeable. He took care of our water softener problem and educated us on maintaining our system. Other companies we contacted were more interested in selling us an expensive replacement. Antonio got our softener going with minimum of fuss.

Lucas Lopez with TLC came out to replace an old faucet in the bathtub, and the old faucets in the master shower which were corroded with calcium deposits. He was very knowledgeable, professional, competent and nice. He gave me a quote before starting the work, which was reasonable, and then got right to it. He did a great clean up job when he was done. So nice to have faucets that are not hard to turn in the shower and a faucet that works again in the bathtub. We have used TLC for many years and will continue to go to them with future needs. I would definitely request Lucas for any future issue that might arise.

Four years ago their technicians did kitchen remodeling for me ------ removing/installing faucet, and garbage disposal, disconnect/reconnect dishwasher, etc. Recently they replaced an outdoor faucet for me. All the technicians are polite, nice, responsive, and doing good job with reasonable price.

We woke up at 7 am on a Sunday morning to find our living room had been flooded due to a pipe leak within the walls. By 9 am, Shannon and Isaac had arrived at our home, assessed the problem, and had it fixed by 10:30 am! The responsiveness of TLC is unmatched! Have used TLC a few times this year and they have always done a great job. I had some difficult issues the last few weeks with leaks in different places and water hammering in the pipes and everything was taken care of.

Had Tankless Water Heater flushed. Service was performed well. Only complaint would be they showed up 40 minutes late. Was promised service between 8-10, showed up at 10:40, he called at 10:20. A bit expensive.

Before my nearly $9k conversion from swamp cooler to refrigerated air (that TLC completed), my fairly new furnace had zero problems, I had consistently cool-ish air from my swamp cooler, and all my household electric worked. In the 38 days following the conversion, major parts of my 4 year old furnace needed to be replaced, the a/c shut down several times, the city electrical inspection failed and an entire circuit of electricity in my home no longer worked. So I had to pay another $600+ TLC to fix what mysteriously broke after installing a brand new system. I have had great plumbing work from them in the past, but this past month has been a nightmare. Not to mention twice being scheduled for service or inspection but not actually put on someones schedule. Never, ever again.

My elderly uncle needed a new water on an emergency level, his old one blew the TP valve and water was flowing. I shut off the water contacted TLC. They were able to get him scheduled for a Friday afternoon while anyone else I called stated they were out 1-4 weeks for a water heater. They stated clearly it would be later but waved the OT charges. Wes and Mike did a great job and corrected any updated code expectations. Great job and friendly for the larger outfit TLC is.

Even though I had to do the emergency visit meaning its a little bit more pricey but they came out the same day otherwise I would have been waiting for 2 weeks maybe even three in this heat they came out fast check my system told me right away that theres nothing to be done the same day because of it completely being over iced did not charge me for that at all they told me to let the fan run all night to let it melt instead of me having to use the emergency call they had an appointment available earlier so I did not have to pay the full price it was a simple fix of just having to change a filter that was dirty as hell and they hooked up all there little machines check if the fluids were right if there was any leaks anyting everything was fine handled it with care very friendly and all I had to do is pay $129 so I would definitely recommend and I will call and use them again.

I called TLC on a Sunday when I began to feel an unusual chill in the house and realized that our gas central heating unit was not coming on. Steven with TLC came out and quickly assessed our issue. The burners were activating and then shutting off because the motor had finally frozen up after 40+ years of service. After weighing our options, which included explacing the motor, my wife and I made the easy decision that it was time to replace the heating system which, frankly, was long overdue. Steven and a co-worker arrived early the next morning to install and activate the new equipment. I really appreciated their expertise and thoroughness in explaining the new system to us, which included a new digital thermostat! I would definitely recommend Steven and TLC to anyone in a heartbeat after our positive experience with them.

Called regarding a technical issue and there were no technicians on hand and could not get a good response. Will not use.

I highly recommend these hard working, honest people. I am very pleased with my new furnace & A/C. I was treated with respect by all employees involved. Riley ONeal stood out from out the other companies that came to give me a bid. He was trustworthy and very knowledgeable. The great crew that did the installation Barton, Dominic, Sergio were professional and friendly. Cheryl who worked with me to schedule my inspection and Coleen in Accounting were courteous and helpful. I had a great team taking care of my needs.

Lawrence was right on time. Patiently explained to me the situation of my 19-year old water heater. Walked me through all scenarios and fee for options. 3 hours after I said yes to a new water heater, he finished the new installation cleaned up the space. Best service I have experienced as a home owner.

Punctural, courteous, high quality. My 17 year old 50 gallon tank hot water heater went out. I called several other companies who indicated they could get to me in a few days. The TLC folks promptly responded and scheduled a time to repair or replace right away. I had to replace this aging tank and TLC did a fantastic job. While replacing my hot water heater I asked the cost to replace my ~35 year old furnace, the cost was not so bad and we scheduled to replace that within the week. Overall I paid ~$6600 for both the furnace and water heater. I thought the water heater cost was a bit high but the furnace replacement seemed reasonable. The quality of work received, the courtesy and professionalism of their technicians was par excellence. They may cost a little bit of extra money (for the water tank) but well worth it. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

My water heater went out on Monday evening I purchased a new water heater at Home Depot and was scheduled with one of their contractor (plumber ) for installation. He never showed and when I called him he was rude and very unprofessional. So I went with TLC called this morning about 9 am. I received a call back from Carlos with a quote and had a plumber in my driveway by 11:45 . James was very nice and very professional. By 2 o’clock my water heater was hooked up. Thank you TLC you will be highly recommended by me .

I took a shot and hired TLC to handle some electrical needs. It is so hard to find people who show up, are professional and do quality work. Dakoda and Jonathan were all of these things and nice guys to boot. The call center was extremely helpful and overall it was a great experience. TLC replaced my leaking water heater and did an outstanding professional job, same day. Tech Jude Gonzales inspected my 15 year old water heater and determined that it was time for replacement. He advised me that some of my venting and other aspects were not up to code and explained exactly what could be done to make it right. He completed the entire installation in one day and did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to get TLC and Jude back in the future. Nice to know we have a company like TLC in Albuquerque who can handle just about any homeowner issue.

Had HVAC installed about 1yr 1/2 ago. Been having thermostat problems. Due to this its not kicking A/C on. Attempted to call to get repair and was told to google how to fix the thermostat. Really? Thats why we are calling you..to repair. We tried to google and tried everything to no avail. We decided to try calling again and finally got a repair scheduled..2 weeks away. If they had scheduled us in the 1st place we would have it fixed already. That was so unprofessional. I would think twice about utilizing this company! While dealing with a frustrating issue involving NM Gas company, Antonio from TLC came in and dealt with all the problems promptly and scheduled inspections. He was the most professional and knowledgeable technician I have ever worked with from TLC. I can’t recommend him enough!

We just had TLC out for another major issue, water main replacement, and the team was fantastic. Jeff came and gave us an estimate. Travis, Anthony, and Dillan were able to come out the very next day for the job. They were very courteous and professional, made sure all our questions and concerns were addressed, and were able to complete it all in one day. We not only had them replace our water main, but we’ve had TLC out to replace our sewer main, update electrical panel, convert to air conditioning, new furnace, and new water heater on other occasions.They are always quick to answer their phones, get someone out to you, and schedule the work in a timely manner.
