CSR Mike is always professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Today, mechanic Emily inspected a car that my mom was looking to purchase. Auto Plus stands behind their work and knows the meaning of customer service. They are honest and reputable. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to them--in fact I have and several family members and friends go to them as well and they are happy with Auto Plus too. Looking for a new local business to bring our cars to. We had a problem with the door lock that was not fixed correctly somewhere else. They figured out the problem that it was not put together in the right order. We had an oil change, filter, and tire rotation. The price was fair and they even applied a coupon for us. Employees were informative and friendly. So far they have earned a return visit.

These guys always go above and beyond to provide the best service possible. They always call to talk through what they want to do and what the costs will be before doing the work, so youre never surprised when you get the bill. On my most recent service, I dropped my truck off and left town. When they finished the work, they actually dropped the truck off at my house so I would have it for work when I got back. Well never use another auto company for as long as these guys are in business.

Got my oil change today, not the first time or the last. Always a great experience with Mike and the guys at Auto Plus. Unlike a lot of shops, they wont try to sell you maintenance you dont need and have no problem elaborating on why something went wrong with your vehicle. Id absolutely recommend them to anyone needing routine maintenance or need a more drastic fix.

I went to get a oil change and he came with more issues. He broke one of the wheel plug and i had to pay for one plug $170. I bought a deal from groupon for $38 for a oil change. Amd after all i have to pay extra $170. I would not recommend this place because they took forever.

Again helpful convenient and wont upsell, or push a repair that is needed but can be lived with if you dont have or want to put the money into your vehicle, only will push if its a danger to you or further damage to vehicle.Note: I started using them on a high recommendation of my friend Mike Happy Snap Galick the areas Snap-on dealer, and who best to really know what type and quality of a mechanic as he deals with all of them, hes been the areas dealer for over 30 years.

Always a 5 Star experience at Auto Plus! I appreciate always getting a heads up about what is coming down the pike, how serious and costly it is and when it is going to need fixing. Mike and Brian are always friendly, helpful and provide great customer service. My last visit, I asked Brian about a product to get rid of a greasy stain on the interior of my new car, he didn’t hesitate to offer to try to clean it, and did a great job! A ride is offered if you wish to leave your car but with a clean, comfortable waiting area, with WiFi, TV, cold drinks and coffee, hanging out is an option.

This place is great! I had been trying to find a new mechanic and then had a bit of an auto emergency after hitting a railroad track wrong. My mom told me to call Auto Plus (she started going there last fall when she had some major car issues) and even though I didnt have an appointment, they told me to come drop it off right away to see if it was safe to drive. They got me in at the end of a Friday afternoon and looked at it and then had ME come back and look at it so they could explain the issues. I LOVE that they did that! My old place didnt really explain things to me very well and treated me very much as a listen to us, we know what were talking about while at Auto Plus, they are trying to really help me understand what and WHY things need to be done. They are upfront with their prices and give you options and are very straightforward with the information and recommendations. And since I couldnt drive the car home (and they are closed on weekends) they gave me a free loaner! When I came back for the followup visit to see how it was doing (free!) and had another issue, they took such great care of me.If you are looking for a new car shop, Auto Plus in Addison is 100% the place to go!

This place is great! My family has been coming here for years and they always do a great job. They have a great family feel and I always feel like I can trust them. This was proven to me again last month when my car needed work done but I didnt have a lot of time since I needed it for work. It was right before the holidays so I was concerned about how long it would have to sit in the shop. When I let them know of my urgency they not only got my estimate done right away but they fixed my car the same day! Definitely a great service every time done by great, friendly people. They say the three people you need to trust are your doctor, your barber, and your auto mechanic. I have a good mechanic near my home, but I needed a good mechanic near my work. So I started looking around and asking around and found Auto Plus in Addison. My truck had a steering problem. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. We talked about the symptoms and likely causes. They got into the job and like good detectives chased down all the possibilities to the root cause. Turns out the three most likely causes were fine, and the problem was trickier to diagnose. They nailed it and fixed it fast at a reasonable cost. While they were at it they examined my truck which has 208,000 miles and determined that it is excellent condition. The only thing they found were cracks in my serpentine belt and a burned out fog lamp. I told them to go ahead and change the belt. They went ahead and fixed the bulb for me for free as a good will gesture. They even drove my truck over to me at work so I could test drive it. I was very pleased with the whole experience and will definitely give them future business and referrals. Ron

Great service!I was trying to find a new place to take my 2003 Honda Accord. I bought it new and Ive taken it to the Honda dealer for everything, but the last few times I took it there they did not repair it correctly and they did not seem to value me as a customer. So I decided it was time for a change. I had used Auto Plus to repair my old Volkswagen and I remembered them as always treating me fairly. So I decided to give them a try with my Accord. I was really pleased with their service. I thought that my car would be due for a major tune-up, but they said I could wait a while – how refreshing to hear that! Then I asked them to investigate an electrical problem, which I somewhat doubted that they could diagnose and repair. I was surprised when they offered me a loaner car. (In the past, the Honda dealer kept me waiting at the dealership for as long as 6 hours.) Shortly after I returned home in the loaner they called and said that they had found the problem and fixed it, and within the minimum allotted time for diagnosis. I was really happy! When I returned to pick up the car, it was washed. When I bought it new, the dealer promised to wash it every time I bought it in for service, but never washed it even once. Auto Plus is my new repair shop!

I grew up with an auto shop on the same block who were basically family to us. After that shop closed, Id lost all hope on finding a business like that. Until I came here. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Free shuttles were available to get you home if you didnt have a ride after you dropped off your vehicle. A very congenial shop. A type of family. They understand people are on budgets and they never coerce their costumers to strong-arm them to do repairs they cannot afford. They do document their findings and recommendations on the repair invoices so costumers are reminded that these issues have been discussed. I have never had to bring my vehicle back to them for the same issue. Only once, and that is because the GM/Delco part was faulty. They are timely and very efficient in getting your vehicle rolling as quickly as possible. I have known the shop to stay open later and finish costumers cars that were promised out.Their pricing is reasonable and every dollar you spend here, returns as an investment for your vehicle.

Brian helped me test my truck, when it was rejected, at the Illinois emissions test site in Addison, I had no Check engine light on, but was being Rejected and a No Pass, because my vehicle was showing Not Test Ready the Emissions center would not allow me to renew my vehicle sticker, until It was test ready, and certified by a repair facility. I calledAuto Plus in Addison, explained what was going on, they said stop in, I did so, and BrianExplained the issue, then went out and took care of the issue in my vehicle, and even went on the Government website to enter the information and register the work, they also gave me a copy, to turn in at the Emissions test site, I was able to get my plate sticker and was on my way. Best place to get your car serviced and repaired honest and great prices

Youll only get dishonesty from this place. Took my newly purchased used Infiniti for an oil change, tire rotation, and full inspection. First thing clerk pulls me aside for is that I need to change my brakes because they are dangerously worn and if I continue to drive, I risk my life. Clerk wanted $300?!!!? For just a brake change. I said not no thanks I can do my own brake change for $24 or so dollars. Next thing clerk says is that my car is leaking oil and in order for them to diagnose the problem they will need to wash the underside of the car to find out exactly where the oil is coming from. Me having very limited knowledge on cars agree to this wash because as soon I found out my car was leaking oil I freaked out. So, after my cars underside cleaning I go home to immediately change my dangerously worn brake pads...only to find out they were only worn halfway...NOT DANGEROUSLY LOW. I had an appointment set up to do a follow up for the oil leakage, but decided not to go back because of the dishonesty over the brakes. I had another mechanic look at my car and guess what...the mechanic from Auto Plus did not tighten the bolt where the oil is drained from. The other mechanic tightened up and told me that it seems like they did not tighten that bolt so that it would appear like my car is leaking oil. Sorry for the long review but no one should be scammed for trying to maintain their car. I do not recommend this place at all if you know nothing about cars because Auto Plus will take advantage of you.

I had a good experience getting an inspection on a car I was thinking of buying. The inspection seemed thorough and helped me identify something that needed repaired before I purchased the car. My only complaint is that the mechanic was unwilling to give me a clear answer whether the car seemed to him overall like a solid vehicle. He was kind of noncommittal about it. I interpreted this as him simply being cautious, but it would haven been nice to get a clearer answer about whether on balance the car was a decent purchase and whether it seemed to him like a reliable vehicle. Overall, however, it was a good experience and I appreciated that they let me into the garage while the car was on the lift so they could show me what they were seeing. I also appreciated that they did not charge me for an additional inspection when I brought the car back to see whether the owner had solved the problem they identified.

This is the most customer friendly, HONEST auto shop EVER. It probably helps that I live within a couple of miles from the place, but they provide shuttle service if you are dropping off a car and youre going within a certain radius, they can provide a loaner car, OR, the best of them all, they have come picked up my car from my house and on occasion, dropped it off at my house when the service has been completed. When one of our cars had an oil leak on our garage floor, whether it was their fault or not -- they sent someone over to clean up the garage floor for us. Just 5 Star service. Their prices are better than dealer and they are more HONEST...if it doesnt need replacing...they dont replace it! If your car can go a few more miles without changing something, they will let you know...and if something needs to be changed, you can be sure that they will do it for a fair price. Highly recommend this shop. I wouldnt take my cars anywhere else.

Awesome experience. I forget his name, (mike?) but the man who helped me was very helpful, quick, and courteous. My synthetic oil change was fast, and the inspection he gave was honest. He laid out my options and his opinion, which was not based on him trying to upsell, but truly taking into account my situation with my car, it’s miles, how often I drive, etc. On top of all that, he was very friendly and we had great conversation - as well as with the other employees there. Oil change was all I needed and all we wanted. The machanic told my wife she needed tie-rod ends $$$! I said no, and took it to my mechanic and he said not as bad as Auto Plus tried to scare my wife into believing. They also rotated the tires and left the front lugs much looser than the rears.My wife did indicate that the mechanic was very nice and information.

This might be a little long so the TL:DR is: this will be my new go-to shopI dont trust a lot of places that are in the business of selling. Many will try to sell you things you dont need so they can make a buck so finding a place you can trust that wont rip you off is pretty high on my list of priorities. I had a shop I could rely on where I used to live but they are too far now after moving to Addison and Ive been doing my own general maintenance so I havent needed to find a shop.Well, my 09 Vibe ended up making some noises at about 2400 RPM from the engine but ran completely fine. My mechanically inclined friend suggested that its probably time to get a new car but I wasnt quite ready. I took it to this shop since it got great reviews and was told theyd check it out but it would be 1000 bucks for the engine tear down and reassemble and thats just to find the problem, not to fix it. I get it, but I wasnt ready for a new car yet so you gotta do what you gotta do and that price was in line with what Id expect on an engine tear down for this area so I went with it. Got a call back about an hour later from Mike who asked that I come in real quick to meet with the master mechanic on duty so they came and picked me up (great service by the way) and they had me listen to the engine with a tire rod. We could easily distinguish that the sound wasnt from the cams or timing chain but was definitely in the base of the motor which meant $$$$$$ in repairs or even a new engine. Instead of charge me the $1000 dollars for the tear down, they did the honest thing and gave me their opinion that it wasnt worth it. That earned my trust right there.Fast forward 2 months later and my wifes car stalls on I-390. Engine shaking violently and has the throttle body light on. Get it towed in and they look at it first thing in the AM and give us a call, throttle body is in need of replacement along with wiring etc. Had the car back same day, parts/labor/inspecting all for ~$780. I gave it a few days before posting to make sure it was still solid and even put a few hundred miles on it to make sure. They did a great job and Im happy with the work.On top of that, they let me know that there are some other small things that could be done, but of most importance was that they told me the brakes and tires were good. I had my wife go to merlin to get an alignment and they send her home with $1200 in quotes including new rotors/pads/tires to which I said absolutely not! I had just replaced the rotors and pads. Again, Auto Plus they came through the with trust/honesty win.Great crew, great service. Thanks for that!Steve
