What a lovely experience, I so enjoyed my time here getting both a manicure and pedicure. The owner Dein was such a pleasure to talk with and she did a wonderful job....whish was no surprise with her 35 years of experience in the business.

Very affordable and the service was good, but not the deluxe atmosphere you expect when going to a nail spa. They used old scratchy shop cloths instead of fresh, clean white towels. No pride of ownership, the place was a mess with supplies stacked all over the place. No music, no beverages or tea offered, no incense of candles. It had not been painted and both nail technicians were wearing old clothing instead clean fresh uniforms.

My husband and I went in for the special pedicure/reflexology massage. Oh my....the absolute best ever. The ladies Amy and Diane were absolutely wonderful. My husband is diabetic and Diane took such care with his foot and leg massage. On my end Amy made me feel so relaxed and my feet look wonderful. So glad we found this place in The Foothills. We will definitely be back. Thank you ladies....see you in 6 weeks.

I was very happy with the service I recieved. Diane was very nice and very through. One of the best pedicures I have had in YEARS. She also does reflexology and it felt great to have my feet pampered and cared for the way she does. I will definitely go back to her next time I get my feet done. Not only was the service great, I really enjoyed my time there and chatting with her.

This place is an absolute JOKE. Let me start out with I looked online to check out reviews of nails salons before I chose this particular location. Being their 2.8 stars outnumbered the other options, I chose to go here. Big mistake. I came in to get acrylic nails removed. I sat down and the owner (Im assuming) asked me Are you sure you want to take off, you just get fill? Yes, Im sure or else I would have asked for a fill? She shrugged her shoulders seeming disgusted and handed ME a nail buffer and said Start sanding, really hard, long time WHAT?! Since when do customers do their own nails? Afterwards she asked me to soak my nails in acetone. After 15 minutes I was asked to move chairs to another technician, she began to use the dremel and sent me back to a different chair to soak for another 15 minutes as she just walked out and disappeared for about 30 minutes. At this point my fingers were tingling and the acrylic was obvious to me as soft and ready to be removed, so I took my fingers out of the acetone. Then, the other nail technician moved me to yet another seat (3rd one so far) and literally pushed my entire hand into the acetone and said keep your nails in there she went on to ask me How you find out about my place? I told her The internet. She replied, Oh well we family here, no new customers come here. What the hell is that supposed to mean? Excuse me for being a tourist from out of town and supporting local businesses. By far one of the worst nail experiences Ive ever encountered. Not to mention this place is by far from sanitary or relaxing, what most expect from a nail salon. The quality of customer service is dissatisfying and attention to detail is ridiculous as seen in photos. Save your time, money, and stress and go somewhere else!

First let me say that Amy was a real sweetheart. She has the personality for this business. But thats where the positive things ended. We just bought a house out in the foothills and I have had First let me say that Amy was a real sweetheart. She has the personality for this business. But thats where the positive things ended. We just bought a house out in the foothills. I had been wearing shellac on my nails for the past 7 months, removing and changing colors every 2 weeks. But, because of the moving, etc... I didnt take the time to have my nails done at the 2 week mark as I normally do. Finally last Sunday I decided I couldnt wait any longer. It had been 3 weeks and I was in desperate need of a mani and polish change, and that would be the only time I would have a chance in the upcoming week as well. The only place I could find in the foothills that was open on Sunday was Ultimate Nails. So I called and she told me to come right in. I was shocked at how dirty it was in the salon. The floors are ridiculously filthy. No way would I have a pedicure there!! And the mani? Well, She used a Dremel tool to remove the shellac. Then after dusting off my nails with a big poofy brush she kept on her desk, she used the same brush to brush off the dust pile on her desk that was created by the Dremel. She did not open a freshly sanitized tool packet and when done trimming my cuticles, she just put the clippers back in her desk drawer. I was rather shocked, frankly. Ive never been anywhere where they didnt at least keep tools in a dish of sanitizer between clients. Anyway... back to the Dremel tool. By using that, she ground down my nails. If you look in the pic, you can see a huge horizontal ridge across each nail. Between the cuticle and ridge is my natural nail. Between the ridge and the edge of the nail is my new GROUND DOWN flimsy weak nail. I know they will grow out, and they are only nails, after all... but it will be this way through the holidays. The manicure and nail paint was... well, look at the pics. My 10 year old granddaughter does a better mani than this. There are two pics. The one she did is the reddish/pink ones. The orange was the shellac done elsewhere the time before. As you can see I did NOT have any ridges prior to my visit at Ultimate Nails. In fact, I pride myself on my super strong and healthy nails. ... er... DID. I certainly can not now. Tonight I broke one just trying to lift an edge on a roll of tape. They just bend right back. I barely even have nail there now. Check the pics...Oh, update... apparently I cant post pics to this review. Check out their facebook page. I will post them there.
