The lady (I am sorry I did not catch her name, maybe Maria?) was SO nice and friendly. She helped us upgrade once we realized we did not reserve a big enough vehicle for our family of five. She called me ahead of time to make sure she would be there when my flight arrived (apparently she works two locations alone most days), and then she went to the other location to get us a car seat for our little one. She was AMAZING and deserves all the praise she can get. Oh, the car was nice too :) This is in Yuma, AZ.
Small location so easy access to rental counter and picking up the car. They do not make it clear that Avis and Budget are together and when I got there there was only someone at the Avis counter, a man that did not bother to greet me or advise anything. So when Monica came back in she had me helped. She was very helpful every time I called (was making sure of getting the vehicle as we were arriving not long before they were to close for the day). I received some benefits for being an AARP member which was nice. I would recommend this rental facility, and Monica was always very nice and helpful.
The rental age in behind the counter was absolutely amazing in how professional Swift she took care of all issues. The service area on the other hand that did not clean the car adequately enough it was filthy inside not covid clean by any stretch of the imagination,the dash had the engine light come on telling me to take the vehicle to a service center shortly after leaving the rental agency in Yuma Arizona within 100 miles I am so early disappointed in how that department presents a supposed ready to go vehicle to their customers. I do believe regional managers should step in and do their jobs to make sure their subordinates actually clean the vehicles it was disgusting.....

There was no sign posted indicating there was assistance for handicapped people. It was a LONG WALK to get your car. About 2 blocks to walk after returning. They should have a sign offering help when picking up and dropping off. I Also rented using AARP TRAVEL. AARP has a deal with BUDGET which makes me think Im going to get a discount. But at the Budget counter Im informed that I only get an upgrade. (I also will report this deception to AARP Travel). Also the online prices are the same as counter prices. No benefit to booking on line. Second is that I booked thru AARP and purchased insurance. When I got my car the Budget Rep asked me if I wanted insurance ? I said yes I did, thinking she was just verifying the insurance I signed up for. Budget charged me an additional 30.00 per Day for insurance. ( more than the price of the car rental) Budget states they have no connection to what AARP Travel has provided me with.And they do not know that AARP has already charged me for insurance.This is outrageous. I had to drive BACK to the airport to cancel the insurance. The whole thing was a sham. Both are responsible for this. Why would Budget partner with AARP to give us a discount? Why wouldnt they have more shared registration information such as the insurance? Im thinking I renewed my AARP Membership for nothing. Read your contracts carefully. Question Budget thoroughly.

Staff at Yuma, and also Phoenix where I dropped the car off were very professional and courteous. Great service and well appreciated after and before a long flight. We had the rental period extended in Yuma for a few hours free of charge; and also on returning the car late due to delay from a wildfire, I would have expected a fee but that was waived also. In summary all rental companies should follow your high standards.

I love Budget! The prices are always competitive and mostly the best price around here. They dont charge extra for my spouse to drive and many times they have given me a free upgrade if they have something available. The agents are easy to deal with and professional.
The representative was very friendly and upgraded me to a bigger car with no issues. Evidently the car I reserved had issues or was still being used. It was easy to reserve through your online system.
The reservations clerk, and the POS clerk were all knowledgeable and explained everything. Very easy, smooth transactions.
Do NOT rent here. I returned my car on time, and since they don’t staff the desk 24/7, I had to use the drop box. Not only did they charge me a late fee, but Monica is saying that I returned my car 26.5 hrs late. How did I make my flight if I had the rental car for an extra day?! Your company is a joke.

Booked a car for a week for my son and when he went to pick it up, he was told there were no cars available. They told him he would have the next one to come in, but that one ended up going to someone with higher priority? Waited two hours and ended up loaning him my own car. If you want to be confident your car will be waiting for you, choose another vendor.
Great rates and service. Got an upgrade to an SUV for a last minute rental, and was still the same rate.
My credit card has been billed approximately 3 times what it should have been billed. I was not emailed a receipt so I have no idea why they billed as they did.

At the airport they have a variety of car rentals and Budget is one of the amazing ones. They are friendly and helpful.

They really don’t deserve any stars. My husband has hearing loss due to his time in the Army. When we got to the counter he explained to Monica the employee there that we had prepaid for a rental and we were there to pick it up. She demanded a credit card and told us we had to pay ANOTHER $100. I explained we already prepaid for the rental. She said the charge would be refunded. My husband asked why we were being charge again. She claimed it was in the contract and it was to prevent us from stealing the car. My husband said what! You have gps in cars. She said we’re right by the boarder and we are giving you a $30000 car and we need an assurance you will bring it back. My husband said fine take it, but this policy is wrong to enforce because no where in your contract does it say anything about this. She claimed it was in the small print. My husband pulled up the contract and showed it to her and said no ma’am it isn’t there. Then she got nasty claimed he was yelling at her and said she was not the one that does the website. I tried to explain that he had a hearing loss and he wasn’t yelling. She then practically threw a paper at him to sign and said something about damage to the car. He said asked her where the damage was and she said it was marked on the paper. It was hard to see and he said oh it’s hard to see your mark. She sarcastically said sorry I can’t do anything to please you. My husband said ma’am I’m just trying to explain that it’s hard to see. Then she went off on us and said he was yelling at her. I asked if she had a customer service number we could call. Then another worker came and called a manager on the phone and told the manager that he was yelling at them. I tried to explain again that he wasn’t yelling he had hearing loss. She refused to give us a customer service and refused service. We said wait you took our $100 she lied and said she gave it back and we could go across the street and see if they would give us a rental. I asked them why they were refusing to rent us a car. They said it was because he yelled at them. I said I’ve told you he has a hearing loss. That isn’t yelling he wasn’t even that loud. He did disagree that it was fair that we had to pay ANOTHER 100 to prevent us from keeping the car.

What terrible service. I reserved a car to be picked up at 8:30 am and actually didn’t get their to pick up vehicle until 10 am. The car wasn’t even ready. They still needed to wash it. All the staff members were in regular clothing and they all looked hung over. Now this car was reserved for 2 weeks so it’s not a cheap sales invoice. Shape up or our company will take our business elsewhere.

I would like to say that the service was good for me and my car had almost no issues, besides a small air leak on the Wednesday of its second week, but that can be cause of the terrain I encountered.
