They flushed the water heater and recommended a new one (which I agreed with because it was over ten years old). They went above and beyond in helping me, and picked up a new one and installed it all in one day. I am grateful for their honesty and help. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work.

Great Service!Our AC stopped working last evening (°102 outside). We thought it was the wall control so we bought one and installed ourselves. That wasnt the problem. At 10:30pm we call Quick and got on there list to come out asap. They were out by 12:00 🙂 so great. Carlos was so professional. He tested and explained everything, made total sense. We had a sensor installed 2 years ago to prevent another over flow from the condensation collection pan. It was doing its job shutting off the unit when it couldnt drain fast enough ( extremely high humidity). Carlos replaced some of the drain line to fix the issue. Our home was back to cooling again before he left 🙂🙂🙂. Our bill was under $200. And Carlos called the next morning to make sure all was good. Thank you Carlos and Quick Refrigeration

My air conditioning unit was no longer functioning so we contacted a HVAC company here and they recommended we replace the entire unit. The representative, Jay Brill, took the time to explain the recommendation and even went so far as to climb on the roof and show me exactly why it needed to be replaced and also reviewed all the documentation on previous repairs to our old unit. We agreed to move forward with the replacement, and on the day the installation was to begin the company arrived earlier than expected and completed the installation swiftly. This was a pleasant experience and we would recommend Quick Refrigeration to friends in the community. The sales representative, Jay, was easy to speak to, was patient and answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns.

AC went out in the middle of the night. At 0700, after reading company reviews, I decided to call Quick AC to look at my AC unit. The woman on the phone was very courteous and said she would get someone to help us. Realizing we were not the only people who needed help in this desert heat, we were surprised at how quickly they responded. Equally surprised at the quickness of the diagnosis and time of repair. I dont think it was 15 minutes and he had the part on board . We were back up and running in no time. Beto was our technician and he was exceptionally nice and very professional. He answered all of our questions and thoroughly explained our problem. In the past, at another house out east, I have had a few AC techs to my home, but none of them made me feel confident of their expertise and ability as did Beto. He made us customers for life!! I have been using Quick Refrigeration for about 5 years. All the techs have been wonderful. One tech had come out in the middle of the night and got air conditioner running again. We did not have to suffer from the heat. They answered all my questions. Also explained what problems were and what to look out for. They are the best!

Another Yuma company came 6-25-20 and replaced blower motor with a temp one. They came back 7-10-20 and put in a new motor and control board. This blew so much faster than the original blower that we could not take it. We then called Quick Refrigeration and Tech Kyle came out. He found the setting on the new board was set for 1 HP and reduced it to 1/2 HP. This slowed down the blower and made it tolerable. We decided to use our stimulus money and asked Quick to put it back original. They just had to order the proper motor and installed it 5-20-20. They removed the new board and motor that were wrong for our Trane unit. Man oh man does this work exactly as it used too. Great job Kyle and Quick.

Every year Service Tech tells me this might be the year my old AC gives up the ghost, well yesterday was the day! After an extremely uncomfortable nights sleep Quick Refrigeration got us hooked up with a new unit! As of 4:00 pm we’re back in the cold! Charged us 500$ and removed filters but never put new ones in. Got a 2nd opinion and confirmed they only wanted money. They wanted us to replace our entire system when it was not needed. They possibly left us without any filters so our unit WOULD break. Do not trust these people.

My AC units stopped working during the hottest days of the year, I called Quick Refrigeration and Fernando Zavala responded quick to my call, came over and check my entire 15yr old system. time to replace it, right!, Well Fernando moved fast and got his crew (Horacio Garcia, Gabriel Espinozo and Juan Sotelo) here and changed my 2 units and even fixed and cleaned all the mess that the contractor who built my house had done in my attic. I was so thankful for the entire crew that came over and the clean work they did. They even took all the precautions needed during this pandemic. My grandfather’s a/c went out. He called for service and within 20 minutes a technician was at his house. The problem was identified and repaired and his a/c up and running again. Thank you Carlos for your professionalism today.

Satisfied with the results. Not very confident in the process or the techs abilities.The tech insisted that the problem with the new motor he had just installed was a dirty coil. I told him that he had it wired wrong. After the $139.00 cleaning, the motor was still not blowing. After coming down off the roof twice to check the air flow, he got it right.And I found 2 screws missing on the access panel for the indoor coil that was causing hot air to be sucked in the system. I looked around the roof and found the screws he had dropped.No confidence.I CALLED, but received return phone call.

Company was quick to handle our needs and very informative.. AC unit stopped working was informed on best steps to take .. New unit was installed quickly guys were also professional.. Jay definitely knows his stuff when it comes to AC units and is a very good guy to have a normal conversation with but still stay on topic of the job.

We had them service our heat pump 2+ years ago. Visit included diagnostics and cleaning the unit. This time, it didnt include cleaning which was not explained as an option when we signed up. Had we known, we would have chosen the full package even though it is $40 more than it was two years ago. Technician was personable and efficient.

We had Quick Refrigeration clean our ducts and replace our AC unit. The whole team was very professional. During this time of COVID-19, they were very conscientious about using distance and masks to protect the us and themselves. I had my air conditioner replaced in May of 2019 and they did a great job. I had been replacing parts on my old system for years and it was costing me a fortune in maintenance and power bills. When the sales guy gave me my options I opted for blowing in extra insulation in the attic and getting the newer energy efficient AC unit that came with an APS rebate. I love the WiFi thermostat that enables me to keep an eye on my usage and adjust the settings from wherever I am. So far my power bill has been have of what it was last summer and this new unit is so quiet you can barley even hear it from outside and it blows cold air. I have a few friends that have also had Quick install these systems in the past few months and they are also very happy. The attention to detail was first hand and they coordinated with the roofers so everything was done right the first time. JAY was our salesman and he was great he explained everything that was going to be installed how it was going to be installed. He answered my phone calls and text messages almost immediately he was always accessible. The installation went really well there was a few little hiccups but the technicians were awesome and took care of them immediately they were very clean there was no mess left behind

At lunchtime today I called Quick Refrigeration about a problem we saw with our air conditioner. They sent a great technician out in less than two hours and he quickly identified and fixed the problem. The timely response is fantastic because it is 109 degrees out right now. We also had Quick out to the house in May to conduct routine service and the technician was on time, polite, efficient and friendly. Im really happy with their service.

Called Quick Refrigeration for cleaning of duct work. Received a prompt quote and he wore a mask! Had the work done by two employees who also wore their masks. Very polite gentlemen and concerned about their work. Explained everything I asked about. Had a small amount of cleanup afterward but all in all very pleased with the work done. Would recommend Quick to anyone.

This happened a week or so ago: AC was working fine in the morning and afternoon, then it felt like Hells gates were opened in my home. Got a new filter to see if that would work and you guessed it, NOPE. Called you guys and granted it took a while to get someone out here which is highly understandable, they came and fixed our AC. The guy was very professional and even wore a mask! The price was high but I would rather pay the 500 some odd dollars to make sure my family is comfortable and safe. Good service but the tech was running late. it would be nice if they called to let us know. We waited almost 20 minutes past our scheduled appointment before they called to say they were running late.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! My AC which was almost 40 yrs old went out in the beginning of these hot summer months. I called most places here in Yuma and came across quick refrigeration. I scheduled an inspection and the next day Jay Brill came out to inspect my AC unit. He was phenomenal. He is extremely knowledgeable with HVAC and even knew areas of my home that needed more ventilation before even stepping foot in my home. His attention to detail was awesome. He explained the issues to me in a way that was completely understandable. He gave me several options to choose from which outlined features and costs effectively. After doing my research and shopping around, I came to the conclusion that the product advertised and the price for the product was the best in town, BY FAR! Set an appointment with these ppl and never showed up. Thy called me and left VM to give them a call back when I did thy said it was for someone else with the same name....at the end they never showed even though the women on the phone stated my appointment was set and ready.

I had my home AC go out and stop cooling. A tech was at my home within an hour. My AC was old and unable to be fixed. The comfort consultant (Jay) called and was there within another hour giving me my options. I chose the one that best suited my family. I was not pressured or pushed into something I could not afford. All the staff was extremely professional and the customer service was great. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Had a part delivery issue that took forever. The tech that installed them was very polite and professional in a very timely manner. After explaining the situation, Mr Gilmore one of the owners, called me to explain the sequence of events that made the situation what it was. Jay Brill gave me three options when he did my estimate for a new a/c heat pack system. One option included a separate unit for my added-on room. My added-on room has never been comfortable (summer nor winter). “Polar A/C” installed my previous two units... BUT when Jay and the crew examined the internal ductwork carefully, they found an obstruction (WHY didn’t Polar see that when they improperly installed the ductwork 25-years - and two new a/c units! - ago????).Anyway, to make a long story short, QUICK REFRIGERATION saved me a lot of $$$ by removing the obstruction and directing air flow evenly throughout my house instead of needing to add a separate system to cool the added-on room. The same size unit that I had previously now cools my whole house effectively!My previous two units were Carrier...and they just did not last more than a year or two beyond warranty. I knew I wanted a Trane this time; Quick Refrigeration is the only company trained specifically by Trane to properly install Trane systems.The installers replaced my old unit in less than half a day and I really notice a huge difference in indoor comfort, especially in the added-on room. They were on time, installed quickly and efficiently, removed the old unit - left no trace they had done anything except now my entire house is cool and comfy :-)Also, a week after installation, Jay came back to check that I was completely satisfied and went through the warranties with me. He left all warranty paperwork etc in a neatly bound folder for my files (all I ever got from “Polar A/C” was a “receipt” from the installers when installation was complete.I highly recommend all the PROFESSIONALS at Quick Refrigeration! Quick refrigeration, Fernando and the installation crew did a perfect job installing a 5 ton A/C and removing the ducts and putting in the new ducts. Fernando did a excellent job measuring out my house (2800 sq ft), he suggested a 2 zones to cool my house. I was a little hesitant for the zones, but it really works very well. The installation crew was on time and did a very good job, also in the attic they found some repairs that needed to be done and they fixed it. When the summer weather gets here, they will come out to see how my house cools. They were very professional and responding to my question. For me I will recommend Fernando and quick refrigeration !!

After working with about 3 other local companies for service on my air conditioning, We were referred to Quick Refrigeration, and have thankfully never looked back. Happy to say the service has been excellent for over 10 years. They come fast, when they say they will come, (even if after hours) take care of business, and whatever needs fixing gets fixed and stays fixed. The techs are courteous and good at explaining what is going on, without talking me to death! In particular, I have to give kudos to Mr. Jose Garcia, who came out one hot night and spent several hours in the dark with one of my blown-out units. He somehow re-wired it so that I didnt have to do an expensive major part replacement, and it is still working like a champ. No charge, as it was just part of the service. Highly recommend.

These guys are awesome. Quick and professional. They went above and beyond by removing old air conditioning units and sealing up any holes left by the old units even though these old units would not have interfered with their installation.

Called for a maintenance and came out. Found out I had a leak so told them to get me a quote the guy came out to see what I need and said will send the quote email or call you. Never got the quote, I called to see what happened and never got a quote that was last year. This year I went to home depot to see the ac and setup a appointment. When they were there doing the sales at home depot. Appointment was made on Wednesday at 10am we called by12 or 1 to see what happened and still waiting on them to call or give us a quote. So called other ac companies and got a new one.

My experience with Quick Refrigeration has been one of great details and thoroughness on the quoting and install of a new Trane heat pump. The service to install was good and while there had been an issue with the unit they are replacing the bad part. They cleaned up and it was as if they were never here, except for a much cooler house! Jay has provided very good service.

Needed a quote. They came out and looked over the place. Left and never said a word. Never heard from them. I called once for them to come out and repair my unit. They never showed up. Southwest refrigeration gave a better quote than 6 other companies. I later found out they prefer the higher class income. My parents bought one of their units and it took a week to come out to fix the thermostat.

Quick Refrigeration has serviced and repaired my unit on multiple occasions and I have never had a bad experience. The office staff is very friendly and the technicians are knowledgeable and did an outstanding job. I will continue to use Quick Refrigeration for all my heating and cooling needs! Update:So it’s been three nights since they were finally able to repair our AC, it took them a while to properly diagnose it but I felt it necessary to come back and update the review. Originally I gave them two out of five but I was impressed with their level of professionalism and work ethic and decided to revise the review upward.It’s hard to find professionals in Yuma. As a community we tend to be very accepting of sub par work and therefore our service providers do their best to avoid meeting the community’s already low bar. This was not the case with Quick refrigeration.They made themselves available to help us throughout the entire process, Mr. Peebles(?) stayed in regular contact with me, they sent a number of technicians out at no additional cost to keep our system going until it was properly diagnosed and then repaired. They even lowered the initial quote for the repair substantially.This was not a level of professionalism or dedication that I expected from a Yuma company, as a life long Yuman I can say safely it’s hard to find ones like this so when you do, treat them as well as they treated you.We will definitely use them again for our future needs.Original PostThe only reason they received a rating higher than one star is that they showed up promptly and have been polite.If that were the only thing to judge them on I’d give them a five out of five, unfortunately for an AC company to get a higher rating their staff should demonstrate a mastery of AC units and or organizational skills. According to him it’s restricting air flow. He goes up into the attic (to his credit) and defrosts it. I think I’ve just dodged a major bill and wish the guy a good day. I promptly put a regular filter in.A week or so later the AC shows the exact same behavior. Won’t cool past a certain point and is rapidly turning on and off.Technician two- Comes out, checks the pressure on the outside unit and declares that I’ve got a bad valve in the system located in my ceiling. I ask him to visually check it, he says he doesn’t need to the readings tell him all he needs to know. Will have office give me a quote on Monday and loads a pound of refrigerant into the system to get us through the weekend.Monday rolls around and I get a $900+ quote, now I’m sweating for two reasons. So I naturally call my home owners warranty to see if they can cover the repairs.All Seasons Technician- Comes our. Declares that the apocalypse has begun and that it’s starting with my AC and that he has no idea how quick refrigeration could tell if it was a faulty valve.So now we’ve had three separate “experts” tell us three separate things. We call quick refrigeration again, not knowing who to believe or trust. We ask that they send a supervisor out this time and they kindly do.Technician three- tells my wife he’s got twenty years of experience and he knows what he’s doing. Goes up into the roof (once again to their credit, it’s hotter than hell up there). Comes down some time later telling my wife that he’s fixed the problem. Implying that the All Seasons guy and Technician two were both wrong about a significant mechanical error.Everything is awesome! The AC cools the house properly. It’s shutting off and staying off until it’s needed. Everything is great... for a night.Now here I sit, having monitored my thermostat and not seen the inside temperature change for hours. Now it’s still pleasant but I know what comes next. This is exact what happened after each previous “fix”.My AC unit is 3 1/2 years old, apart of a new build home, installed by quick refrigeration in the first place, who after having sent three separate technicians to my house have yet to properly diagnose or repair my system.I am not happy to say the least.

I have been using Quick Refrigeration for over 20 years. They installed the air conditioner when my home was built and have given me excellent service. I have a maintenance agreement with them at a very reasonable cost and have never had any major problems with my unit. I definitely recommend Quick to anyone who wants speedy quality service.

My parents Clifford & Betty Winton couldnt stop talking about how their customer service was so great. They were polite and very helpful. Thats very important for me to know that they respect and treat their elders with care. My parents have very bad allergies and took the time to make sure their duct work was clean and in working order. I would recommend them to anyone.

Quick was like the. name say. They were always here on time and extremely cautious and efficient.In my mind I would never use anyone else for air conditioning. They may not be the cheapest but for what you get, they become the most economical. There are no last minute addins & they definitely don’t nickel and dime you.

What a great company to install a new Trane heat pump system. Quick Refrigeration removed a 1971 heat pump, upgraded the electrical panel, thoroughly cleaned and repaired or replaced all the floor vents and sealed ductwork. This was a two day experience. The crews were professionals and very courteous. I ended up with a state of the art Trane XL16 Energy Star heat pump system. I can not hear it cycle on or off. An Air Scrubber was also installed that cleans the air in my house as often as I want.Yes, pretty expensive but so worth it! I was able to take advantage of the 5 year 0% financing offer.This system has all the whistles and bells and amazing warranties.I highly recommend Quick Refrigeration.

I had posted a negative response to this company. I have to withdraw it because, as can happen, I did not have the full story behind what was happening. We apparently have a very complicated system and Quick went above and beyond to fix the problem coming to my house multiple times per day and even at 0200 one morning! Thank you!!!

Victor came to service our residential HVAC. He came with a great attitude and was highly proficient in checking everything and cleaning all the dirt out. I recommend Quick Refrigeration and would also recommend that you buy a super quiet Trane system from them.

This is the second A/C Trane unit we have purchased from Quick Refrigeration in the past 16 years (different locations). Our contact person, Fernando Zavala, was very professional and helpful during this purchase. We are very pleased with the help we have received from Quick. We trust that our relationship will just continue to get better.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Prices are way too high. Evacuated the system, repaired a line and recharge. $1300.00 Had to come out 3 times within a one week period to get it right. Was told I was overcharged, called and questioned bill. They were going to look into it and call me back. Still waiting for that call? Priced same repair elsewhere and found much cheaper. Even bought a maintenance contract from them, someone was going to get ahold of me so they could set up a time to come out and clean/service unit. Still waiting for that call as well. Unbelievable. Lesson learned....
