Tech came out, said our washer had multiple problems. To fix main issue/ cause of not running would be $500. Not worth fixing cuz wires rusting and wearing out. Recommended to replace. Did not submit to warranty company.Now have to have another tech come out 10 days later and mot have functioning washer whole time. I very inconvenient and bad situation.

Run 21 just lost out on a $100+ purchase of items from me. After walking the store and selecting my outfits for my Costa Rica vacation this coming Wednesday. I asked to try on my selections ( you know covid weight) an the lady behind the counter told me the fitting room was closed. I told her Im going to Costa Rica next week and needed to try the clothes on before purchase. She still said no. I told her Francescas (showing her my bag with my item I purchased from them ) let me try on my item. Let me add its a $58 dress that I will be wearing at the destination wedding of friends. I told her Im not buying clothes I can not try on and left all my selections. Heading to H&M in the mall and then Target across the way.

The lead technician was pleasant and knowledgeable, the helper tech was sarcastic. I do not know for sure how thorough the search was for the burnt odor since July 2020. In other words, I do not know if they were experts in this field. The conclusion was - yes, it does smell like a burned out motor (and/or resin) but we dont know why, the odor has settled in the insulation, you will never get rid of it, they will not replace the unit. The unit was installed in 2016, the odor started in 2020 - just 4 yrs old. The odor is always there, sometimes so bad you can smell it in the garage, and definitely the surrounding rooms. Just so you know, we are very clean people, we take very good care of our appliances, etc. This Elite microwave/oven combo unit cost $3000. I am sorry that we purchased ALL of our appliances for our newly built house from Sears. To add fuel to the fire, we are not able to replace this unit.

Service was great. Price was completely rediculous. I paid $332 for a dryer repair. 2 parts worth a total of $30. The rest was labor. 45 minute repair. So they charged me $228 / hour for labor. Unless you have very deep pockets I would think twice about using them.

Out course you to a out of the country call center. Cant 8nderstand person I was speaking to on two separate days. Didnt work with me on getting quick repair man to my home and was going to make me wait 15 days for Aptt. ! My food would have spoild

We had our washing machine repaired, which cost over $300. The exact same problem happened again with in two weeks. They assured me on the phone that if they came out and it was the same issue, we would not be charged. They did charge us and said it would cost another $500 to fix it..so we ended up paying $400 (the fee for coming out) for nothing and had to purchase a new washer. I believe the initial repair was misdiagnosed, but they will not admit it. I called to file a complaint and never got a response. Ill never use Sears service again.

The service man was quick to respond, attentive to my homes cleanliness, professional and knowledgeable. After the repair, I was due a partial refund and needed to contact Sears to proceed with the said refund. It was VERY DIFFICULT to get anyone to respond to me. When I did acheive a return phone call I was told they had lost all the paperwork and had no records of my repair even being done. After 6 months of repeated phone calls and explaining the situation, I gave up. It wasnt worth my effort.

Sears sent a tech from a&e appliance repair today. He showed up on time, was very pleasant, and worked quickly. He had me up and running in less than 30 minutes! I checked out comparable prices and feel I was charged fairly. I will be using these guys from now on to fix my Kenmore appliances!

The repairman was prompt, courteous, and very informative. He reviewed what work he had done and also informed me on the amount of laundry detergent that would be most beneficial for my washer and the cleanliness of my clothes. He also checked on the status of my washer and dryer warranty. I was extremely satisfied with the service I received.

Service guy was at our house for less than 1/2 an hour to fix a part on the dryer. The part cost $2 online, but Sears charged $25 for it. Plus, an $80 service call charge and then an additional $80 for the technicians time. Youre telling me that this guy makes $160 an hour? Ridiculous. When we called to address the issue with Sears the customer service rep said, well, is your dryer working now? and then stated that we should just be happy that we got it fixed. They also told us that the service repair technicians charge whatever they want for their time. Again...ridiculous. We will NEVER purchase a Kenmore appliance again from Sears nor will we EVER use their service company. And, I will be sure to tell everyone that I know about the horrible customer service and rip-off that they are. Im not surprised that Sears is going bankrupt.

Joe is an excellent technician repair done quickly and efficiently. This is our second experience with him, he repaired our oven just as efficiently. Sears service is fast other extended warranty companies.

Dishwasher rack still does not goes in the whole way and I have to push the door really hard to get it shut. repair man said thats the way it is and i cant do anything about it. It wasnt that way when first installed! the one spring on door was replaced but it still boings loudly when lowered-but sears wont replace that one until it fails-just put up with noise! I dont call this good service.

Called to find out why I haven’t received part yet because today was my appointment. No cancellation of appointment or phone call letting me know part was on back order. Wasted my morning waiting around for service tech when they were never coming in the first place. While speaking with a&e about the back ordered part and how they should have called to let me know it was on back order they hung up on me. Dude didn’t really speak clear English as he couldn’t pronounce my name. I assume they are outsourcing their phone calls overseas. Not a pleased customer as this is terrible service.

I was not very happy with the service. I received an email stating the repair person would be there between 11:15AM and 1:15PM and at 12:45PM I received a call stating they would be there closer to 4:00PM. He arrived at 4:15 and completed the work in less than 30 minutes. My entire day was on hold for 30 minutes of service. My service contract ends in Dec not sure I will renew based on this experience. The 1st time I had this service it was excellent and I was offered products/details this time, In/Out no mention of cleaning products. The service person was very nice the service needs an UPGRADE...............

After having had a repairman out 3 times for the same problem I finally got a repairman that seemed to know what he was doing. replaced ice maker and now everything is working fine. Even fixed the door handle that was loose.

The repairman was very professional and knowledgeable. Had me up and running in no time. Where the problem existed, they sent out a tech for a one year check up and we clearly told the operator what the problem was and we needed a repairman. So the tech was very nice and had to reschedule for a repairman to come up and fix it. Waste of Our time, and the techs. Was told by tech they do that a lot. So repairman I would give a five star, customers service and scheduling, a NO STAR!

The technician was great. called ahead of arrival. was polite and knowledgable. The scheduling was terrible. I had 3 appts set which were changed by Sears each pushing the day back further. I spoke to a manager who said she would get the dispatcher to call me and try to set thing up better, but there was no call-just an e-mail notice with no apology or recognition that Sears screwed up. Youve got good people working for you, but management needs some lessons in PR.

The technician was great. The cost was awful. I had a $7 switch installed in a kenmore frig and it cost me over $200 for 1/2 hours work Sears can keep their kenmore products and Ill find another repair house when I need one.

DW wasnt fixed on May 5th or the other two times they were here. At least now I may know the problem. It needs a door latch. Of course, now Im waiting for the part. I spent three different days waiting for servicemen and still cant use my DW.

After 6 visits and new parts the serviceman finally figured out the microwave problem.Frustration was also added during the repair because a couple of times I was told I had an appointment and then on the day of the appointment called to find out they had no record of my call or appointment.

Refrigerator ice machine does not worker properly after service. Wash machine replacement rubber on front end loader is buckled and does not look exactly like the original. I called and rescheduled another date for sears to come and fix ice maker and look at washer rubber part again. Not happy that It was not fixed properly the first time.
