This used to be a great place and it was so convenient since it was a few blocks away from my house. They have changed and with new workers they are more inconsistent. Sometimes I walk away happy and sometimes not.

I didnt really like how my nails came out. :( They were really thick and uneven.

The day after I get my nails done (gel) they all started chipping. Such cheap polish and the ladies who worked there are rude and rush you out the door.

If you like your nails to all look the same dont go here. I had to file my own nails while sitting in the chair and she was on the phone.

It was not worth the time or effort. My nail is already chipping and it’s not even been a day since I got them. Given them a rating of 1 star was being generous.

Im embarrassed to say that I actually paid for this pedicure! Dare I call this a pedicure I could’ve done better myself at home! If i could give no stars I would. It lasted 15 minutes I still have lots of dead skin on my toes they could’ve just buffed it away ! I wouldn’t take a free pedicure from them ever again don’t waste your money !!

I LOVE this place! Having been to several places throughout Yonkers and since I moved to the neighborhood, this is my go-to place and I don’t want to go anywhere else. They’re quick to take you in, although sometimes busy, but they’re worth the wait and busy for a reason — that being that people love the service and results here. I would suggest calling to make an appointment, or at least calling ahead to see how soon you can be taken in. Everyone’s so friendly and courteous and they truly cater to your every need and at great pricing too with many services to offer (manicure, pedicure, nail fixtures, massage, waxing, etc). My now fianće lives in Long Island (for now) but he always looks forward to coming here for a manicure, pedicure and massage too.

Its been a long time since Ive been there but when I did go they were always very friendly. The only downside that they have is not enough quality time time spent on their pedi mani cure. Too Quick.. If they would only put time They would put QUALITY

They rush the service every time even if it’s not busy which honestly is rude towards paying customers and their work is messy. If I had to say one positive thing about this place is that the workers are friendly but that just isn’t enough to provide a good service. I’ve been coming here for years since I live in the area and it’s sad that their service hasn’t improved.

Best place in yonkers!

I had been going to VIP for years, it is in walking distance of my home. I was always please with the results. over a year ago I stopped going there, I never even saw this page to leave reviews. Anyway, Mani-Pedi is always my relaxing treat to myself. I have natural long nails, the last few times I was there the tech did not listen to me when I said no cut and keep the dome shape. Well she didnt cut my nails but was flattening out the dome, when I corrected her she was annoyed. then I had the pedi which was unusual doing it in reverse. She cut my heel by using a razor on the callous and then the tearing the skin with the pumice stone. She apologized and got alcohol right away. I wasnt happy but I realize these things can happen. The next week I went in for my usual routine, I got the same tech, there was no wait time, I went right to the chair for the pedi. I was there so early on Tuesday there was no one there, so I got the mani-pedi at the same time. Great because I had a whole list of errands to do. Once again she cut my foot but this time said NOTHING. I didnt even know until I went to get into my car and saw the blood on my flip flop, then saw more of the other flip flop. I immediately went home to clean my feet and stop the bleeding. They have a dirt parking lot, thankfully I didnt get an infection. I called and complained for all the good it did. I got a so sorry. I never went back. As I said this happened over a year ago, but from what I have read here, that seems to be when they went downhill.

This is the worst pedicure I have ever received. It must have lasted 15 minutes. And they do not know how to resolve issues. My mother got a pedicure as well and did not finish due to the terrible work and was still expected to pay full price (even though her nails werent even painted?) If you actually want a decent job done, go elsewhere.

Powder/Gel is not removed entirely, nail cleaning and cuticles are barely done. Sometimes power/gel is not finished professionally, lumps and bumps here and there. Waited 30 minutes for pedicure the other day and they took a customer that came in after me, so I left. Trying a better salon.

I have been going to this salon since I was sixteen, now twenty-nine. This place has always delivered excellent service, but recently it declined dramatically. I used to get acrylic tips, pedicures, and eyebrow waxing. Over the years, I stopped getting certain services because like others have stated, the workers are always rushing and do not take the time to follow through their tasks. I am so unhappy with the service that I only go in for eyebrow waxing. Unfortunately, that is also being poorly done. My final straw was a few weeks ago when the owner herself did my eyebrows and when I got to my car to look them in actual light (the rooms being a pink shade with yellow colored lighting, its hard even to see anything correctly), I saw numerous stray hairs still not plucked. I only gave two stars because I love all the people that work here as people, but they need to step up their game. I instead take a fifteen-minute car ride to another salon rather than take a minute walk down the street to this establishment.

Not a fan . They used to do really good work they rush now and dont listen properly. Its absolutely freezing in here ! The one whos doing my pedicure i gave her a second chance and shes massaging me with her gloves on in the same spot over ans over I politely told her she needs to move it around and shes clearly not listening! Shes rushing and thats a turn off ! Not very catering for a 55.00 pedicure. I do not recommend

So for my wifes first time here she was treated very well people were kind however when she got her French tips the guy cut her finger and made a few mistakes like leaving streaks and missing little spots with nail polish. He seemed to have rushed a lot. We were not impressed. We did hear that the other women workers were better at that stuff. Probably wont go back to find out.

I have been coming here for 6 years the service is usually decent but the last few months the service has been declining. Bad paint jobs, terrible shapes and when you ask them to fix it they get an attitude. Today was the worst time of them all!!! There debit card machine stopped working after my $26 pedicure and the owners daughter took pictures of my debit card without my permission!!!!!!!! How dare they?????? With all the fraud going around how dare you do something like this? After I took out cash I walked back in to be bombarded by 3 workers trying to snatch the money out of my hand. I am filing a police report immediately!

While I didnt get my nails done and I do mine myself, I will consider this spot for my next event 💋⚘❤💅

25 dollars for mani pedi Monday to Wednesday. They work pretty hard and do a good job.

After going to Vip Nails, although their english isnt the best but their service is very good. The pricing is also very reasonable. I recommend this nails salon.

By far worst gel set i have ever gotten, they kept messing up my nails and had to redo them like 5 times. they didn’t clean my nails afterwords and left them dirty. the facts that i spent 40 dollars on this was honestly a waste of time and money. i don’t suggest this place to anyone.

I have been looking for a nail spot for over 2 weeks. I am so freaking happy I found VIP nails. I drove 25 mins from my home in the Bronx, found parking easily, the area is quiet and calm, staff were friendly and the other customers were pleasant. Pedi on a massage chair, GREAT; massage on my back while my mani dried, LOVE IT; a massage from knee to foot, and a massage from elbow to fingers, AMAZING! All in all, paid $58.60 ($33 for a color gel pedi, $25 for a color gel mani) left a tip, and I couldnt be happier!! Will definitely go there again.
