I really really enjoy living in this apartment. The apartment is clean and comfortable, I also like the decoration style of the apartment. In addition, the fitness center is free and open 24/7 so I can work out at any time.
507 main street apartment complex is the worst place to live. the elevators are frequently down and if they are working only one of them works. the first alarm also goes off randomly at the middle of the nights or early in the mornings. can never sleep and always go off for more than 30 minutes. the only perk to living here is that it’s location is in downtown. i would never recommend this place to anyone. the rent is way too high for a place like this.
My car was broken into while renting a private parking garage space owned by the grid. Window smashed, personal possessions stolen only to have management revoke my spot because I complained about the garage door being stuck open for weeks on end and the “keypad locked” doors not closing fully. They didn’t do any repairs to any of the doors until my car was broken into and the worst part was they had the new parts ON HAND, meaning they could’ve resolved the problem beforehand. Told me I would have to cover the damages. On top of that, the building is so poorly maintained that there’s abundant black mold, terrible water pressure no matter the floor and leaks anytime there’s more than a drizzle outside. DO NOT RENT FROM THE GRID
Living @ The Grid (Portland St) has been a great experience for me. Management is friendly, along with the concierge staff. Maintenance is always responsive when you need something. The area is convenient & close to everything you need.
❌👎❌👎❎❌👎 COMPLETE RIP-OFF, FOR WHAT YOU PAY, THEY ADVERTISE LIKE THE PLACE IS AMAZING,IN REALALITY IS A COMPLETE RIP-OFF ROYALLY.YOU GET THIS LITTLE DINKEY APARTMENT,THEN YOUR VEHICLE GETS TOWED AWAY OR TICKETED EVER DAY.THEN YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL THE JUNKIES THAT ARE EVERYWHERE.THEN WHEN YOU CALL THE POLICE DEPARTMENT THEYRE RUDE INGNORANT AN ARE COMPLETELY CORRUPTED.WHAT A JOKE 🤡🤡🤣 You would have to be a complete idiot too rent from these SCUMBAGS RIP-OFF PLACE tell everyone what its really about.MONEY AN TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WITH ALL LIES 24 7 🤣🤡👎❌👎❎❌👎
Great place to live! Maintenance is awesome & so is management. Downtown Worcester has come up a long long way. Nice area and good discounts to the restaurants is a plus. Modernized and renovated apartments!
If you can move somewhere else I would go in-depth but it’s literally way too much to go through. You might rather live in a box than this place.
There are many more places in Worcester that you can live. I suggest that you dont give your money to this company. If you have any issues with your apartment, it will be ignored. In fact, if you try to bring it up, you will get harassed by the manager. Most of the buildings are cheaply built and not well maintained. The walls are thin and youll be able to hear other conversations. Lack of heating is a big issue in some of the buildings in the winter, and you will be lucky to find a washing machine working properly.
I have not moved in as of yet. I can not speak as a current Resident but I have signed a lease and will be living at the grid over the next year. The apartments are a little dated on the outside but very cute on the inside, the area is like a small version of boston commons. Location is 2 minutes off the highway. I wanted to comment on how awesome Francesca C. Has been through out the showing / signing process. She took us around showed us all the units we wanted to see plus more, Francesca has made this experience super easy, fast, and convenient. She is friendly and professional and upbeat. She has assisted me with all of the questions I have had, shes gone out of her way to provide me with information on the area to ease in my moving and set up process . I will come back to update my review as a tenant, but for now I just cant stress how great Francesca has been through out this process ! Thank you!!
Nice place to live in a nice location. HOWEVER. Elevators barely work, i live on the 9th floor and have had to walk up the stairs countless amount of times. about a week ago me and the elevator maintenance guy got STUCK in the elevator together and he said this company needs to bite the bullet and get a whole new elevator system because these elevators are from 1960’s!!!! They only turn air conditioning on from June 18th-some time in September which is my BIGGEST complaint. These buildings get HOT. It can be 70 out but your apartment will be scorching at 100 degrees. NOTHING HELPS. Overall ok experience. literally had to go to my car to get ready with the AC on because i was about to pass out in my own apartment. ive had to use a fan all throughout winter because even then it’s so hot.
Fairly decent spot thats local. A bit overpriced, but ideal location if you dont readily have transportation and must rely on public transportation. Elevators can be iffy, whatevs. And I owe them a big debt of gratitude for not rushing rent and giving me a little leeway when I lost my father. Biggest complaint [for me and many others] is the central air and heat schedule, man. One thing I learned is Worcester gets crazy cold during the winter months but hellishly hot during late spring/summer months. I certainly hope in the near future the dates can be reprogrammed to accommodate the needs of the tenants [and their children/pets] to prevent hypothermia/hyperthermia.*Get a portable a/c and bake goods during the cold months to keep your apartment regulated during inclimate weather conditions*
Tried to get someone to speak with me. They kept telling me to email them question. Said no ones in the office today. Or tomorrow. Or the weekend. Or the next weekend because they have family issues and working from home and not able to call me from home.
Wouldn’t know how to begin, I was super anxious two months ago before moving in to my apartment at the grid, so far all I’ve had a terrible experience. Elevators are terrible, I live on the 6th floor and have a two year old most mornings I have to walk 6 flight of stairs because elevators Do Not function properly. I’ve called various times can’t ever get a hold of them. I changed my address to receive my mail and for some reason I haven’t been able to receive any of my packages or mail. Very disappointed !!
This place is very comfortable, great feel with the industrial look and open I Beams. Staff has always been very helpful (A+). The location is great, giving easy access to the highway and anywhere really you want to go. Overall great place and very safe.
I just moved into Portland on the Grid, the leasing experience was easy and Francesca was amazing! She has continued to be great! Quick responses and so helpful with any questions I have or assistance I need. So far me and my pup absolutely love living here, our apartment is beautiful, the AC works amazing, and the hot water/water pressure has been reliable. I have been able to take a quick walk to dinner and had a variety of choices!
Alright I’ve lived here for about a year now and I can say personally there aren’t many complaints. Yes the elevator in the back goes out sometimes but there is 2 other elevators and it’s usually fixed pretty quick, yes the Ac in the lobby is not working. Sure the fire alarms go off once every month maybe. But all around it’s a solid place to live. Sure the price is higher but that’s the way Worcester is going. I don’t know where the problems with management and maintenance guys come from but it’s a very laid back environment and it’s never been a problem. The maintenance in the building is absolutely awesome from my experience I’ve never waited more than a day to get something fixed. My apartment has been in good order and everything works fine. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been helpful and friendly honestly.
Here is what most people do not understand about: The Grid District; The Grid is separated into a few different buildings. One of them is Portland on the Grid, and the other is Bancroft on the Grid.Through my time living on the grid, maintenance has been reliable, electric is cheaper than previous town house living, and laundry is convenient. The prices are high, yes, but they also offer different events for the residents and the location is a short 8 minute walk from Union Station for public transportation.
So far so great, moved in recently and had the best experience. Francesca made the process so easy and she is on top of any concern or question I may have immediately with a positive attitude. I recommend using her as your agent if at all possible especially if this is your first place!
Elevators never work, employees are rude and dismissive... all services and hospitality employees need major updates.
UPDATE: So after working for the Grid Company, for a year, they have the AUDACITY to ask me who I was. I was the one in charge of their money on several nights a week going into THEIR paycheck. The Craft Table and Bar and Revolution Pie & Pint were the restaurants I worked for. All the Grid cares about is the awful Beer Garden that it funneled all of its money into or Brew On The Grid since it was good enough for Ryan Reynolds to come and film in.THIS PLACE DOESNT CARE ABOUT EMPLYOEESYOU ARE A NUMBER.
The best way to live downtown. They are very affordable(compared to most downtown living areas). They allow pets and are very accommodating to your needs as a tenant. Whenever we had a repair needed, maintenance was in the day I placed the ticket. The concierge is very friendly and accommodating as well. Theyll lend you a dolly when moving stuff around. Give you a hand with the door when bringing in groceries. I needed a place within close proximity to the train station and this is the place we went with and couldnt have been more happier with our decision. Going to miss the downtown living but work has pulled us away again. Highly recommend.
Just moved into The Grid, my 1BR apartment is very nice, clean and inside parking is a plus. Francesca is wonderful to work with, she is very efficient, polite, works hard and is great at what she does. I would recommend this place for sure.
Extremely easy leasing process. My leasing agent was Francesca. She was a great resource for any questions I had and was very quick to respond to anything I needed.
I had lived at The Bancroft for about two years, and one of the primary reasons was because the folks I worked with in the management office were very accommodating and were willing to work with me to make my time in the building as comfortable as possible. All members of the staff were great to work with and were always very friendly. It was also great to share the building with the players from the Mass Pirates. Going to miss living there, but I may be back. :)
I honestly would have giving a better review, because I didn’t mine the Grid apartments. But, after talking to this girl named “Bianca” or “Brianna”....I will not recommend this apartment building. My boyfriend and I broke up after living in our apartment, he wanted to take over the lease & we both agreed. But trying to set up a meeting to sign a new lease was like pulling teeth. “Bianca” or “Brianna” was so rude, gave me the wrong email for the property manager, and was talking down to me. I was already upset about this situation, but this girl dragged it out & made the process so much harder.
Been stuck in the elevators 3 to 4 times and theres roaches and its dirty they dont fix or do anything and rent is very high not worth living here so dont
Francesca has been helpful, consistent with communication, professional and flexible with my crazy schedule. She has made my moving process easy and I’m grateful for her help.
Great place with professional and friendly folks who are there to help 24/7. You dont get turned away with any questions or requests. Office, security and maintenance people are all there to make your day go better.
My whole experience was awesome! Usually apartment hunting is a nightmare but working with Susannah it was a breeze. She was wicked patient with us with all of our questions and in checking (and rechecking) that we had everything in order to get me into my unit ASAP! I was extremely happy with the entire process and now in my beautiful apartment!Looking for a place pop into their leasing office & Im sure you wont be disappointed!
My time at the Grid was collectively one of the worst experiences. Throughout the stint that I spent there, I continuously asked for the elevators to be evaluated, as they are dangerous and unreliable. Many nights they remained stuck on the 8th floor and would not return to the bottom, so I had to trek up the stairs to my residence. I felt as if the office staff is not fully equipped to handle all that is going on at the grid. If you ever call with a question, good luck. You are either getting a voicemail or the phone will continue to ring. In the event that they do answer, the concern will be sent to the property managers voicemail. Additionally, I decided to move out early and turned in my keys to the management team about a month before my lease end. In this event, they used my apartment for showings to a majority of prospective residents. How do I know? I got on average 10-15 emails a day saying showing scheduled or showing canceled. I tried to stress this concern, but guess what? I got the property managers voicemail. However, when I called back to say I wanted to speak to someone actually there, I got the assistant property managers voicemail. Overall, I have lived in many apartment complexes through my time in college and starting my career. The grid was overall my worst experience and I wouldnt recommend staying there.
Probably the worst place to live in the city. One there’s rats, two the elevators hardly ever work and three good luck with your central heating/air conditioning. I’ve had to suffer months with out heating or air condition, there response “ac only works at a certain level because of the thermostat running the compressor within the building is bad”. Don’t move here unless your desperate for a place to live other then that there’s a nice trash can that may have all the amenities your looking for.
The Grid is a great place to live. The location is right in the center of downtown Worcester which makes it very convenient for a lot of things. The staff is great and always so helpful whenever I have a problem with my apartment. Maintenance is great as they attend to my requests in a quick manor. The concierge/security is also an amazing plus to the building. They are very friendly and easy to approach and talk to. They put a lot of work into the building as it looks beautiful, free WiFi in the lobby which is extremely convenient. Pet friendly which is great for dog and cat lovers like myself. The free payments on trash and water also save myself some money monthly. It’s also nice that they have their own brand of restaurants Craft, Revolution, The Beer Garden, WooHaHa, which all residents have a discount at! Just a lively area on the weekends, it’s fantastic for people who like going out for a few drinks just to kick it back! Been here for a few years and just enjoy everything!
I really do not understand the mediocre and bad reviews. I moved from Seattle to MA and lived at the Bancroft Building for three months until I purchased a home. All the personnel were friendly and helpful. The residents are nice and considerate. The Grid hosts many fun events for its residents and has good amenities. The price for a furnished month-to-month rental is the best I found in the area for a suitable living accommodation. The personnel and residents make up a diverse group of ages, ethnic backgrounds and nationalities. This is the environment I want to live in Im a city girl and love diversity. I highly recommend the Grid.
Management is terrible. Everything in apartment was broken. Nothing was ever fixed properly. Have contacted management numerous times. Communication is poor. No hospitality at all. Was supposed to get 2 months free rent, that never happened. Honestly, I feel stupid for ever living here. Not worth the money. Just terrible.
I guess the people who have problems go out of there way to review here. Everyone who [lives] here at the grid, have always seemed as if they are fine. Occasion they say hi, mind their own business, and / or get along. I only stayed here for a short time, but my short stay has no complaints. Gym(excellent), laundry (some dryers you need to use twice to get it dry), lobby(clean, nice), high rise(Good experience if you never have), price fair; little on the higher side.
Just found out some of the 5 star comments were post by its only employee, how pathetic. There was not heat most of the day and nobody was /is/ will do anything. FYI the heat here is included in your rent, which means if they say to you that there are some issue with the heat, that actually means they are neglect of the maintenance and will stall the repair process as long as possible so they don’t have to pay the fuel and save the budget. Moved in early august and by law they should provided heat starting September 16, which means the heat must be provided, is up to the tentent whether to use it. So there was not any heat, told me they were repairing it and waited for 2 weeks, nothing changed. I have to call the city hall and ask them to send inspectors, as result, they fixed it during a weekend, over time, i don’t know how they can stall the repair for 2 weeks and fix it in 2 days suddenly. I do not if there is really something wrong with the heat or they are so desperate to save the budget, the heat went off very often. I had no heat during the past 2 weekends, the emergency maintenance cannot do anything after hour or during the day because they don’t want to. Imagine suffer from the cold and have to stay in bed the whole time and the temperature outside is even higher than your unit. I am seriously considering getting a landlord tenant attorney to end my suffer from this hole.Update:2019/10/28 hot water boiler broken, said it’s fixed. 2019/10/29 break again, no hot water for shower and did not give a head up.2019/11/07 no heat since beginning of the day. it’s currently 34F outside. i wonder if the manger’s house has heat or not? is he suffer from this as well? or he just doesn’t give a xx as long as he’s ok. 07/20update: Maintenance are rude. The confirmed case of the US is almost 3million and they have no intention of wearing a mask before entering your unit.
If I could give zero stars, I would. It would seem appropriate because it’s almost like no one works there. their office hours clearly state that Monday-Wednesday they are open 9-6. I get there at 5:40 and there is nobody in the leasing office and nobody at the front desk. When the person running the front desk gets back, he has the nerve to be rude to me and everyone else waiting in line. Like, why would we be expecting someone to be working when it says they will be? Not to mention the concierge desk is “24/7”. Their prices are outrageous and their staff is rude and completely incompetent. I’m lucky to only rent a parking space with these people. Oh and I forgot to mention that they made a change to their parking policy and decided that everyone renting a space didn’t need to know. Not like it matters because people park in my spot constantly. If you could live literally anywhere else, I would recommend that you do. As would everyone else who left the one star reviews that are just piling up.
I think this place is great, has excellent location. The building has charm and character. My unit is convenient to my school. They have a fitness center and I like the parking options. I would recommend this place to my fellow college friends. The management and leasing staff is very helpful and friendly. They are also under new management.
Dont be fooled by the upgrades. The main building at 50 Franklin has no air conditioning in the lobby or gym. The so called secure buildings constantly have the doors propped or the doors unlocked. They also rent to airbnb so you can never tell who belongs in your building. Whats the point of them doing a background check when you apply to live here? The roofs leak during heavy rain - they patch the hallway walls, but never fix the problem. I think its great that they allow cats & dogs, but people do not pickup after their dogs so there is a heavy odor outside in the summer months. Leasing office has had massive turnover - none of the staff is the same from a year ago. Parking costs are sky-high - the garage is dirty, the doors are finicky (i got stuck inside once). Fire alarms go off very frequently. There are interior doors that go into one of the apartment buildings - anyone can get in once you are in the garage. Overall its not worth the money - I wont be renewing my lease later this fall.
Treats people like a number instead of human beings
Changing my 2 Star review to a 4 Star. I recently had problems with my heat and hot water, which was due to an electrical problem within my apartment. They were very accommodating and sincerely apologetic. One of the maintenance guys kept checking in on me to make sure I was comfortable and even gave me a chair to sit on since I don’t have much furniture (just moved in.) My impression was very upset because of all the reviews and I felt as if I made a mistake moving here, but after everything was fixed and because everyone was so nice to me, I feel much happier moving here now. I read a lot of the reviews and some people had similar issues, but if you address what you need to be fixed then I’m sure they’ll do it in a timely manner.
Beautifully renovated building, two restaurants and a comedy club in the basement. Convenient location right in the middle of downtown Worcester. The staff is also helpful and friendly.
For being in downtown Worcester, this community serves as a great place to live while attending school. My friend lives here and the few times I have gone into the office with her regarding maintenance issues, the girls in the office are extremely helpful and friendly. Maintenance issues are taken care of at a reasonable manner and there is always someone there to help! The Grid has come a long way based off old reviews. Check this place out! They have great looking apartments.
Very professional, accommodating, helpful staff!!! Apartment was comfy and just what we needed and expected!! We had a few problems, ie stove had a burner that didnt work and within a day- taken care of!!!! If ever back in Worcester, I am calling up the Grid again!!!!!
If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would. Their staff is the most unprofessional band of folks I’ve ever dealt with. No communication, poorly managed properties. DONT LIVE HERE
Pros and cons are inherent with many apartment complexes. The Grid District is no different; however, Scott Johnson, the director of property management has been professional, responsive, and accommodating to our recent concerns. We are very satisfied with the level of service has provided us. Additionally, the leasing agent, Scarlette, was also helpful in showing us different apartmenrs based on our criteria.
The worst maintenance and managment ever. It took them forever just to come and change the battery to my fire alarm, which makes a chirping sound until the battery is charged. The elevator has not been inspected since 2017, liscense expired 2018. Now instead of fixing it they just removed the expired certificate from the elevator. It took them a week after we moved in for them to paint over the scratches which they said would be done before we moved in. When we moved in, during winter, our heater didnt work and their solution was to give us a desk heater to warm our whole apartment. So we had to buy our own heater of course so we wouldnt freeze to death. The maintenance constantly has a attitude about having to actually do their jobs which they are already late to. Honestly not worth the $1200 to live here.
I like to say the grid District has its up and down like any other place but the one thing that is great here is the property manager Scott hes very professional and understanding and helping.im hoping the ownership group realize hes the glue keeping this place together
DON’T MOVE HERE, YOU WILL HATE IT.I live here and it is horrible!!! It is not so much the apartments themselves because I like the inside of my apartment but the rest is horrible. Start with the people in the office who are very incompetent. If you call them and ask for something simple they will tell you that they will follow up and NEVER do. They need the manager to do everything and the manager is never in when you need her. They lose records and are just overall lazy. Our lease ends in March and there is no way that we are renewing. We are leaving as soon as the lease is up. The dryers don’t dry well and there are no trash cans in general areas so people end up throwing their trash anywhere. They finally started some remodeling in the elevators since the managing company was changed but it is the same people in the office which shows that it is just that they need someone to tell them what to do or they just don’t care. The elevators are being renovated to look prettier because they had carpet inside that smelled horrible but they also don’t work sometimes. There are three so there is always a backup but still an inconvenience. Also get ready for the fire alarm to go off about every 2 weeks and there is no fire. I can’t wait to move!!!
Scarlette and the team absolutely amazing ! Follow up, quality of service, commitment to tenant world class ! One of of the best place to Iive in Worcester!
My studio furnished apartment is nothing of what they told me over the phone or what they have described on their website, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and plank flooring. My apartment only has a TV, full size bed, a table with to iron looking chairs, a floor lamp that did not have a light bulb in it. What I dont have on my room is some type of sitting chair or sofa in the room, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, plank flooring, a dresser, a microwave, a vacuum, end tables, a shower liner, and screens in the windows. The first apartment they gave me, I couldnt have stayed there even if it was the last place around to stay, the smell was horrible, no air conditioning, the ceiling fan had one speed, low, not to mention the noise from outside. I had to get a hotel room when I got in to town because of how bad the condition of the first apartment was. On Saturday, I went to the leasing office when it opened and told them about, I had to wait until the person called her manager before she could do anything. Once the manager called back they gave me another apartment that had the same thing as the first apartment except it didnt have a smell to it. I had to go all weekend with out air conditioning, I had to go buy a box fan to put in the window that didnt have screens in them. To top it all off my rent is twice the amount of long term renters because I am a short term renter. They havent tried to compensate me for any of this. I would not recommend this place to anyone! The only reason Im still here is because I signed a lease. I will take responsibility for not looking at the apartment before signing the lease but when you are driving from Michigan you dont really have a choice when needing a place to stay for 5 months.
I moved to the Grid Park Plaza about a year ago and love the location and apartment. Its convenient, convenient, convenient... to work, City Hall and the downtown area with lots of dining and drinking establishments in the area. If I want to get a nice meal, there are ramen, sushi, Chinese, American, pizza, pub and farm to table restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. A beautiful beer garden is right around the corner! The Worcester common is right across the street and currently theres ice skating out there (not that I ice skate) During the warmer months they have bands, festivals and soon the Red Sox AAA farm club will be building a stadium right around the corner. Im also about 100 steps from the Hanover theatre for plays, about 400 steps to Mechanics Hall for classical vocal and musical performances and the DCU center for more major concerts is also only a stones throw away. Recently, a new comedy club opened up in the 50 Franklin building plus a couple of new restaurants. Older residents have told me that this downtown area used to be very vibrant years ago, and the vibrancy is really coming back and quickly. Plus banking, small shops and night spots are all within walking distance. As for the apartments themselves, they are very affordable, comfortable and refreshingly below the high prices of Boston. In the entire time, Ive lived here, Ive had only one minor maintenance issue and it was fixed within an hour. The tenants in my building keep relatively to themselves and are quiet. Ive previously lived in places where I had my own washer and dryer. The apartments in my building do not have washers and dryers in the apartments but have a common area for doing laundry in the building. Its a minor inconvenience, and the open hours are extremely generous (Im not sure if the other buildings have washer/dryers in them). . The staff is very friendly and accommodating and security/concierge is available 24/7 if they are needed.I love shooting pool for a hobby, so literally the only thing I need to leave the area for is that... and theres a pool hall within 3.5 miles. If you like convenience, Id highly recommend the Grid apartments if moving to the area. I havent been in school for years, but its really convenient to many of the colleges in Worcester. The ages of the residents vary, but It helps give a nice young vibe to the area.
So I moved here as a travel nurse and was expecting much worse being in the middle of downtown Worcester. The room was quiet, and clean. No a/c and the heat/electric was outrageous for such a small apt. I give a 1 star because they did not return my security deposit until 3 months later and a letter I sent stating I would take them to court. Suddenly I got my deposit back. It was so bad that when I called to ask once again about my deposit return I would just get sent to some random voice mail. The manager and staff were all very nice but I feel like they have shady business practices. So keep your paperwork, know the law, and dont let them take advantage of you!!
DO NOT MOVE HERE! The people from the leasing office are extremely unprofessional. They have no type of workflow, or customer service. They do not keep their word. We have not had A/C for a 1.5 months already, and all they keep saying is Im sorry, there is nothing I can do. We are actively looking for a new place because of their staff, which is unfortunate since we love the location. You do not want to deal with them.
I really enjoy living at the Grid apartments near the downtown area of Worcester. The out side veiw from my bedroom window is a gorgeous glance of how the bright lights is a glips of the historic scenery view of the park and many of the down-town shopping center(s)and restaurant(s) just minutes, walking distance from the residency. Ive been living hear now at the Grid apartment for the past 4 months in a studio apartment. I absolutely love it! and find cozinesss of my apartment relaxing. The people are very friendly and admiring. If you are looking for a quiet and cozy place near the historic down-town area of Worcester The Grid is thumbs- ☝its quiet and the Grid even has a workout room and a lounge where the residency are welcomed. to. If you just want gangout in the lounge and watch tv or read its a great place to live.☺😉😄 Mr. Green
Ive lived here since February (7 months) and really the only issue Ive had is parking over the winter, which is just Worcester and could be avoided by getting a parking spot. I moved here because I had no time to find a place and they had apartments available immediately. At first I thought it was a mistake due to the reviews here, but I like my apartment! Having the gym and laundry right down stairs is great. The people at the front desk are always really nice, even to my grumpy over-tired self. Ive never had an issue that maintenance didnt come fix the same day, and even that was just my hot water not being hot enough.Any other complaints I might think of are general ones that I would have in any downtown apartment building! :)
We hate this place. The staff is not very smart and the overall experience is horrible. Go somewhere else, dont waste your time or money.
Friends of mine who lived here always complained about the maintenance of the place after numerous AC issues.and elevator malfunction. When they reported these or other issues, property management seemed to do little to nothing at all in terms of problem solving efforts
I have lived at Park plaza for about two years too long. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There is always something broken: elevators hardly ever work, they are always waiting on a part for the AC, play smells like weed, fire alarm goes off all the time, people fighting in the building and street, one resident stole my license plate, they will try to charge you extra for everything, I can go on and on..
Ive been here 6 months and its been problem after problem. With the exception of Bia, the staff is horrible. No matter what the problem, they never did anything about it or took their sweet time handling it. My clothes being stolen from the laundry room, me catching another tenant vandalizing my car and a worker there just waltzing into my apt on accident not once, but 2 times. All of which I brought to their attention and nothing has been done. Another thing is that my cousin, who has a 2 bedroom and is double my Apts size, is paying 200 dollars less than me. If you have other choices do yourself a favor and choose the other options.
Worst place Ive ever lived. With its many fire and safety code violations, constant fights in and around the building, horrible management, and junkies living in stairwells, not to mention the fire alarm that goes off twice a month. This place should be avoided at all costs.
Nice and clean units, Susannah is very helpful!
These guys are the most unprofessional people Ive dealt with. They will waste your time. Do not even bother.
Not only is this building run by careless maintenance. But when actual emergencies happen. There is no person to speak with. Weve only been here a few months and I can tell you if Id known Id never even would have looked at this awful place. More than half the building literally flooded and now probably had water damage that theyre ignoring from a severe rain fall in the fall. Not one complaint about extreme leaks or anything have been met bc Ive seen 0 repare people here and some apartments were so extreme it was almost as if a shower head replaced smoke detectors in the ceiling. Not only that but the front desk is full of incompetent morons. We rent parking spaces. Pay between $90-$150 for a stupid space a month. So when an unknown vehicle is in it the ever so eager to make money towing company will tow it. But not before they have someone call you ( only half the time) which has ALSO happened. A car that was NOT mine was in my spot. They called. Asked. I said it wasnt mine and explained to them that ( coincidentally I would be having a new car in that spot ) my car was in the shop for an amount of time i dont know so I had a replacement for the time being. Told them the car color and even the plate. And what happened 6 hours later!? IT WAS TOWED. and there is NO CONTACT number to speak to someone to have them release the car. So who has to pay for it!? We do. Out of Pocket. And their version of reimbursement is to have the credit be on my next months bill. what if someone didnt have that money to spend and really needed the car out of the lot? Hm? the man sitting at the front desk doing nothing isnt even authorized to have a towing company release our vehicles.ALSO we have cubbies in our main building for large packages ( that no one had seemed to enforce with the postal people ) because they continue to leave large packages on the floor by the mail boxes in the other buildings. This wouldnt be an issue if everyone in the world was honest because during Christmas the a package of mine went missing and later that evening showed up by the mailboxes. opened. It was a personalized ornament so no one kept it. But when I went to the front desk to complain THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER OF A SECUIRTY COMPANY. and refused to help with ANYTHING related to theft happening in their buildings. Nothing. These people take no responsibility for the headache caused by their awful buildings and dont even care to help the people that live here. Ive only been here 6 months and Im pretty sure were the last of only a few left in our building and all the apartments are open for rent because theyve not only taken no ownership for anything happening in their apartments but they have now upped the rent for all the apartments when renewing leases.I will NOT be renewing mine.
I have lived here for over a year im telling anyone looking for a place dont come here they will screw you over and try everything to kick you out. the office tells you there here to help you but its bullshit they only want to line their pockets with money. the people here are always selling drugs or partying. its not even safe to walk out of your apartment because you have to worry about getting stabbed or shot its ridiculous.
Worst apartment! Every thing is low quality. Even receptionist shows attitude in front of you if you have any complains regarding apartment. Answer to every problem is ‘we are not responsible for it’ . Staying in these apartments is the worst experience i ever had.
BEAUTIFUL place and tons of amenities!
