Jessica Cicero the manager at this location is the worst manager I’ve ever encountered and to top it off she’s a liar. She had my membership cancelled because my mask was down while I was doing cardio. Mind you…I abide by the mask mandates…don’t believe in them…but I follow the rule. My mask was down only because I couldn’t breath and I was leaving the gym. There was also not a soul within 20ft of me while this was occurring. She suggested I speak with her superior Reggie…which amounted to nothing at all. The man wouldn’t even listen to my side of the story. He totally disregarded the facts I was giving about the managers lies right in front of her. I asked her if I was lying and she wouldn’t respond…because I was telling the truth. He wouldn’t even address the fact of the one employee yelling at me in front of the manager…which she wouldn’t deny either. Her reason for my cancellation stated that I was harassing employees. I have never once went out of my way to talk to any planet fitness employee. I go in, keep to myself, then leave. Another lie from the manager. Overall if you have problems don’t talk with them because they will not be resolved. This location doesn’t take into consideration the clients point of view pertaining to issues. It’s a shame I’m losing my membership of 6+ years over a power trip. Planet Fitness needs to address these issues. Planet Fitness should feel good to go into. My past month has been very uncomfortable. The same employee that was aggressive with me was also following me around when I went there. It was borderline scary. I should feel safe addressing problems with management and other above management staff….which I do not because they do not handle issues appropriately and disregard what you have to say and walk away. They clearly have better things to do than deal with customer service. This is my point of view on this very unfair situation. PS I also wasn’t notified about the cancellation prior to it happening AND THEY EVEN CHARGED ME AGAIN THE NEXT DAY!!!. It was a surprise

For 10 dollars a month this gym is perfect, that being said you’re only paying 10 dollars so they won’t have top notch equipment. For what it’s worth it’s overall a pretty good gym, staff is friendly other members are friendly and it’s never too crowded.

Nice clean equipment, lots of varieties of workout machines as well. Weights section is usually busy but there is always availability when I need it. Entire section dedicated to abs and bands. Me and the wife have been enjoying our workouts since joining. Highly recommended.

Never would I have thought of myself as a person who would like Planet Fitness. I have always preferred CrossFit gyms, and still do. However, the personnel at Planet Fitness Woodstock have made all the difference for me. I started my membership pre-COVID, but have continued on after the reopening. Despite the challenges of the times, the attitudes of the associates here remain positive. Staff even sometimes visually identify me upon entry and check me in by the time I step in the doorway. The place is clean, organized, useful for general fitness, and a fine option to keep moving. The HydroMassage lounges and chairs even provide a simple, short respite from a stressful day.

This place sucks! Not just the staff but the other members as well. Theyre all looking at their phones the whole time taking up equipment. The staff is poorly trained and unprofessional. Any gym that serves pizza and doughnuts to their members for customer appreciation isnt a gym. Its a daycare for adults

Very clean gym which is great. Friendly outstanding respectful staff during the day. Owen and Alyssa gave outstanding member assistance and have phenomenal communication skills. Owen went above and beyond to show great care and concern for my well being. There is a disrespectful older gentlemen who works overnight. He needs to settle down his emotions, not be so strict, and not make such a big deal with certain things I was doing.

Everything is clean! Sanitizer dispensers everywhere! Employees are super nice and well educated on the equipment. I love to work out here!

Staff is friendly and equipment is clean.However, cancellation of membership and planet fitness business model has flaws. Went in person and asked to cancel all memberships attached to a card (for family as we were moving) and was assured it was taken care of. Thought nothing of it until 3 months later when I see that one of the memberships was still being charged.After trying to work it out reasonably with the manager the only option is to dispute the charges where Planet fitness holds a balance for whenever you return.The place is kept clean with machines that are operable. It is a shame that this company has left a poor taste due to grabbing a few extra dollars where they can.

It was my first time there and I can honestly say that I was very comfortable with my surroundings! Highly recommend

Best gym in Woodstock. Clean, spaced out enough, plenty of equipment, never feel like Im on top of people. For the price point, it cannot be beaten. If you know how to work out, they have everything you could possibly want without having to have heavier dumbbells. Props to the staff who are always cleaning the place meticulously and pleasant. I even saw the general manager on her hands and knees sanitizing. Great place.

I was going to join and have a 2nd gym to go to when traveling in he area but I was turned away at the counter because I didnt know my bank routing or account number to put in my phone. This is all despite being equipped with a debit and credit card. I was told this was impossible due to their new touchless policy. Ahhhh..this is the pick things up and put them down gym. Their credit card reader was sitting right there. It was just too much of a hassle to join. I probably wont try again.UPDATE: I emailed them to the address they requested me to below & asked them what additional information they needed. There has been no response.

Never have I ever had a problem where I am working out and I take my mask off that its gonna be an issue the only time I take my mask off is when im running or doing and incline workout on the treadmill, but today as im doing that i get told that i have to have it on not matter what and yes I understand that covid is very serious but when im doing a workout to a.) help me lose weight and b.) is causing me to sweat which causes you to breath more, its kinda hard to not be a little angry that im not allowed to have it off when im doing stuff like that, I also always put it back on when im done and I clean up after myself but I have never had an issue with me taking my mask off while im doing that kind of work out :(

Well staffed, and well maintained. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the machines - by and large - are clean and well maintained. Of course, you always have some knuckleheads who dont wipe the machines down, but thats in every gym on the planet. Im particularly fond of the battle ropes in the back. My last gym didnt have them, so I am happy that this location does! The red light therapy they offer is also one of my favorite parts. Not sure if its the placebo effect, but it seems to work for me!

Awesome gym. Everything was so clean, even the floors spotless. The 2 workers were just great kids working hard all night. I spent 2.5 hours there. Since this gym opened this year, I love how the machines are more updated and really work the muscle for whatever muscle is being trained. In other words, these machines are very user friendly.Even the cardio machines are so much more computer programmed and user friendly also.Great job Planet Fitness.Ive been to Palatine, Schaumburg, Arl. Hts., Crystal Lake and now Woodstock. They are all managed perfectly to keep us safe from disease.God Bless the management.Thank you very much!!!!!

Right now all the equipment is brand new and in great working order. Everything is very clean. The staff has always been friendly and helpful with me. You cant beat the price compared to other clubs. Well see a year or so down the road.

Work out here 4 days a week. The hydro beds and chairs are great

The Gym is open 24/7. The equipment is better than the other PF gyms in the area... I’m very pleased and happy to have a gym in town!

I was rudely asked by a female employee to wear my mask while working out. She felt the need to talk to me like i was stupid. I wore the d@mn mask for my last 5min and gave it back. Thanks! Never had an issue till now. I think its time to cancel!

Newer facility has less people and newer equiptment

Good clean gym, staff are very interested, in their own conversations, this is a plus for me because I dont want to be bothered in the gym. If you need something, they will stop to help you out. Ive only been there a few times now, but they are not familiar with me like the one in Crystal Lake used to be.

Ive been at this gym at different hours (including 2am) and they alway keep this place clean. Full effort too, no half a** jobs. I really like that they do that. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

I signed up for this gym before they even opened. I decided to go to snap instead about a month in, and called to cancel. The staff member said his system was glitching but he’d keep working on it. I got billed $35 a few days into February and went in person to dispute the charges, but the manager said she couldn’t refund me, even though they have documentation proving I called and talked to a staff member about cancelling. It’s not like this huge company suffers from refunding one person $35. Disappointing

Great place to go

You get a lot of bang for your buck. New facility, new equipment, and plenty of space. 24 hours and its clean. Wouldnt reccomend for hardcore powerlifters/bodybuilders but they have enough weights to get you by in a pinch. Plenty of cardio equipment and machine. But hey for $10 a month I grabbed a membership for the hell of it and the convienece of it being close to home.

I’ve been trying to ask to use the massage chair for over an hour and there hasn’t been anyone at the front desk in over an hour. Employees hide in the bathroom stalls so they can text and get a break. No one to even work the desk. Laugh out loud pathetic. Honest review.

Really good price for a gym in this area. Will go when it can reopen due to the stay at home order.

They rudely asked me to remove my coat from the machine so I canceled my membership and they called the police and banned me from all locations, so much for a judgement free zone.
