This place is great! The staff are very professional and they do a thorough job with the hair removal. Best part of all though, they dont charge for a whole program of treatments. Some other places want to charge in excess of $2,200 for the whole kit and caboodle, but then guarantee it for your lifetime. Maybe that works for people that plan to live close to their laser hair removal place for their entire life. I guess Id rather pay as I go and if I need a touch up later, then Ill just pay for it. No need to take out insurance on my nether region.

Where do i Start? I have had 3 sessions completed with Kim at permanent choice. Oh man! Is so worth it! I was waxing for so long it was so pricey getting waxing every 6weeks not just that ingrown hair, Skin damaged! Just had my second appointment at Permanent Choice in Woodbury with Kim since they opened up back up with Covid protections in place. As someone who is immune suppressed I feel very comfortable that they are taking the precautions needed to keep both me and their staff safe. If I didnt, I would be postponing my appointments. Kim was double masked with a face shield and other protections. Theres an evacuator running to protect both of us. Clients are required to wear masks while being treated. We are also asked to wash hands and sanitize on our way in. Do we need to put off a few procedures like upper lips (which would otherwise require mask removal) until times are safer? We do, which seems perfectly appropriate for everyones safety. I applaud Permanent Choice and Kim for doing everything they can to protect both employees and clients.

I wanted to share how I was treated by Permanent Choice. After many years of my loyal business, which included over $5,000 for laser, I was treated with immense disrespect. Their policy states there will be a charge of $25 for late cancellations and no shows. On each and every occasion for which I had a late cancellation or was a no show, I always paid the late fee with absolutely no complaints, which I know can’t be said for every customer that had to pay the $25 penalty. When booking my latest appointment, I was told I had to either be notified the same day I could get services or prepay the service plus a late fee and the electrolysis salary for the time they would have spent with me. This is not the policy which every client signs before attaining their services. In addition, it is illegal for any company to divulge an employees salary. They did not have a problem with the last appointment I made; however, they did have a problem booking my next appointment. I found that interesting since the technician cancelled my last appointment because of the weather, not me. Why was I held accountable for the technicians decision to cancel my appointment? When discussing this with Permanent Choice, they said and I quote, “If you say another word, I’m going to hang up.” Wow!!!! A business is threatening to hang up on a costumer. That is controlling and narcissistic behavior of which I do not tolerate. A good business recognizes the saying that makes them a good business, which is, you can disrespect some of the people some of the time, but you can’t disrespect all of the people all the time. If I am treated in a rude, disrespectful manner, there will be consequences for that behavior. Thank goodness our society has evolved, so all voices can be heard. Unlike years ago when the mistreatment upon others went unnoticed, we now have the internet to hold those businesses accountable that are rude and disrespectful to their clients. Most people read google and yelp reviews before choosing one business over another. There are many electrolysis in the Twin Cities to choose from; therefore, businesses can’t afford to have bad reviews, which luckily we now have a platform to be heard, thanks to social media and the internet. This company’s inappropriate, cruel behavior goes beyond what I have mentioned thus far. In one conversation when they inquired about my cancellations, for which I always paid the $25 late fee, I shared with the staff that I was going through a very difficult time this last year with my personal life and the unexpected death of my brother. The response I received was, “Everybody gets depressed.” Wow!!!!! Keep in mind I wasn’t asking for any favors as I always paid my late fee. The care and compassion of this company is underwhelming. All I can say to that is shame on you for treating me so cruel. Let’s hope Permanent Choice will learn a lesson from this. The lesson being there are consequences for rude, disrespectful behavior of which they will be held accountable. #nofilter

Body hair is not something I wish to fight— but when my confidence skyrockets the way it does after a laser hair removal treatment, I have to do it. I used to receive electrolysis regularly at a location on the west side of town, and initially sought Permanent Chiice for that service closer to home. I’d never considered laser treatment (because I thought it be significantly more expensive) until Kim suggested it. So glad she did. I’ve had three treatments and have seen significant improvement in less time with fewer sessions. I like that electrolysis is also available as it’s sometimes a necessary supplemental service as well. Kim is wonderful to work with. No heavy sales pitch, no pressure and a very clean location and a thoughtful technician. After 3 services I am almost hair free on my face and lip. I’ve been going here since beggining of the year. I’ve had a ovarian cyst that cause hair growth excessively all over areas you don’t want. I’ve had it to my face lip and side burns I was so embarrassed to go to school and even not wanna go to work. Now my face feels good and Kim treats me so kind in and out. I found Permanent Choice in Woodbury.After the first treatment it got worse. I was really frustrated. It grew faster and was even more coarse. I was sickened. Then one night, about 2 weeks after that first treatment, I was watching TV and I reached to feel how bad (how coarse) it was....IT HADNT EVEN GROWN SINCE I SHAVED IN THE MORNING. IT FELT SMOOTH.I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!!Too good to be true I expected in the morning to have full growth, but it was still smooth!!!I cried for about 1/2 hour. I was even shaking! I felt free!! Complete joy!It has been over a month and I am still smooth. I went in for a maintenance treatment and it is just TOO PHENOMINAL!!! Every day I cannot believe it has finally happened. I think I must be dreaming. I am so grateful.
