Great place, fellow gym members are respectable and friendly. The yoga teachers are great... but half of the general staff is unintelligible, grumpy, and unhwlpful. Sauna is down again too.

Clean and well maintained gym. Will be back.

I miss the quietness of LA Fitness it appears with this new name, came a lot of new faces. Nothing like trying to workout with people pulling their masks below their chin. Otherwise, the gym is pretty good..

Come to Garden State Barbell if you want to make real gains.

This location is much better than Turnersville’s LA!! Staff deserves 5 stars but I am giving the location 4 stars because it is not very clean.

Do not allow for you to cancel your membership unless the 1 person that has authority to do so is there, which is limited business hours m-f. That makes no sense

Pretty nice la fitness, I like to look at how many equipment is out of order, if weights are stack back, and clean bathroom. Sauna is not really hot though. Same la fitness template as others. Friendly staff.

Not very clean and lacking equipment. Still have NOT GONE TO 24 HOURS like they said they would. Still have nothing in place to prevent less paying members to access parts of the clubs that higher members pay for. The staff there is extremely boring and not welcoming at all. They just sit there looking absolutely miserable. If it wasnt 5 mins from my house I would have stayed at edge fitness. Edge is wayyyyyy better

I had to stay overnight at the truck stop, so I decided to see if there were any gyms nearby. I saw that E Sporta fitness was only 4 miles away so I took a short Uber ride to get a workout in . This place was formerly known as LA Fitness but was rebranded as E Sporta. Since they are still owned by LA fitness, I was able to use my membership and did not have to pay for a day pass. Very nice gym. They have all of the equipment you need to get a great workout in. There is also a really cool area with what looks like field turf( like a football field) to do CrossFit, grass drills etc. highly recommended. Will be back if I’m ever in the area.

Hours during the weekend are extremely limited. Also, has cleanliness issues, especially the bathrooms.

I cancelled my membership before the pandemic hit, I was not using the gym facilities for months due to my relocation and illness. They just charged my account for September. I havent been at the gym for almost 2 years. They can clearly see my activity since they scanned my card. I spoke to the Operations Manager to cancel, he assured me was all cancelled . Poor Management.

Lee is the absolute best trainer.... he helped me look amazing for my wedding this year! i have been training with Lee for over a year and he is hands down the best trainer I’ve ever had. Can’t say thank you enough to Lee for helping me lose this weight and getting me back on track with life. He motivates me everyday to try harder and do better!! Love ya Lee

This gym has given me a great experience. Has a good amount of machines and equipment. Never have I had to wait to use any of them. The staff is always helpful even helped me with work out routines/diet suggestions and also have great membership deals. They also have fun classes for their members. The times Ive came, it has never been packed which is something I like as well. I would recommend this gym to anyone and everyone including friends which are already members. Glad to be a member this gym!

Love the gym. I especially love the trainer there Lee. He has been my trainer for 8 years. He is always evolving and using new techniques for work outs. Lee is very motivating, I tried to stop paying for a trainer but was unable to stay away. He is awesome and very energetic which makes your hard work out fun.

This gym deserves a 5 star rating because of how many different options you have in it. You can literally almost do anything. Everything from lifting weights to swimming to playing racket ball and even basketball. Great gym

Love the gym! It is a great environment to workout in, and there is always equipment available to use. I really enjoy working with Lee as my trainer. We have been training together for almost a year, and he has helped me to lose a significant amount of weight in just 6 months! Hes a great guy, and motivator highly recommend!

This gym is awesome! The atmosphere is amazing, very friendly staff and always clean. The equipment is very rarely broken n if something is broke it gets fixed right away. LA Fitness in Woodbury is fantastic! Great facility: roomy, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, and elaborate. LAF provides everything you need, and more. The facility is smartly arranged in a warm and modern atmosphere. I’m visiting from CO for a month, and Sales Manager Christopher fixed me up with a generous guest pass for the entire duration. He was friendly, accommodating and professional. As was Dan, the Opns Mgr. If I lived in the area this would be my gym of choice, no question! This is a great gym! Locker rooms are always clean, the equipment is nice, and the staff is friendly! Ask for Tom, he’s always friendly and will help you out with any questions you have!

Overall, the gym is decently maintained. However, my experience with the sales associate hasnt been pleasant. Corporate seem to have more authority and seem to actually be the ones who try to retain clients. Dont count on their staff to be of assistance in certain sensitive matters. You have better luck contacting their headquarters in California. Most organizations like to deal with issues in-house. These folks at Woodbury LA fitness are quick to have you dial corporate or use the common, thats an online deal only routine.

One of my preferred LA fitness locations. Always clean and machines working. One of the few in Jersey that keeps the dumbbells in order on the racks. Never overly busy in the morning which I prefer.

Normally a great experience until the pool pump broke last week. Every time I call to see if the pool if open and working like last night twice, they gave me false info stating the pool was warming up and fixed. I get in there today, Jan. 17l,2018 and was told the part was just put in this am and the water was still ice cold. Really!!!!!!!!! And no one could put that info on the web site or tell their people at the front desk to give our correct info. Now to drive another half hour home for nothing.

Lee is one of the most dedicated trainers. He’s awesome at what he does, and he’s the only one I would train with.

Usually a good environment, equipment kinda old but still salvageable, i decided to bring my friend to come work out at night once and i watched the guy pocket the fifteen dollars for the guest. I didn’t even get greeted i had to get his attention .

Good machines. Nice free weights. Lots of cardio machines. And small rooms to do core work/yoga and such.

My experience was great the weekend manager is the friendliest most personable person Ive ever met. The facilities are fairly clean the locker room is not as bad as people make it out to be so they clean up fairly often but it does get busy around rush hour dont take that out on the staff. Great place to come casually or long term, and great to bring a friend. Angel, the weekend manager deserves special credit for keeping the facilities especially comfortable and clean.

The reason I stay with this gym is because of my personal trainer, Lee. Working with Lee has kept me healthy and fit for the past 7 years. Lee is an incredible trainer!

I had to guess to come visit the gym. She was given a 5 day pass and only attended one session. On the second visit they wanted to charge her the Initiation fee and a membership fee without her having a full experience. Guess should be give 3 to 4 separate visit if they cant come on consecutive days.

It takes a lot for me to leave a review, a negative one at that. Been a member here for the better half of 7 years. And in that time frame, the management periodically will decide to skimp the weekend hours year by year. What’s even worse is the google my business page isn’t updated on time to notify these changes.Did my monthly payment amortize and decrease to reflect sick changes? Of course not. I don’t care about that. I had to work today, a Saturday, raced to the gym, and I’m greeted to a desk associate locking the door on me and replying “ idk” when I asked her about the other locations Saturday hours. So here I am, now paying to get into another local gym, with preworkout RACING through my skull in disgust.

Working out here is great. Ryan was a great help in getting me started.

Best LAFitness location. Always clean and even on Saturday never much of a wait. New cleaning staff- Matt- is the best. All machines get cleaned and he circles back when a Machine is in use to assure 100 percent attention. Lockers/ showers rarely any trash on the floor.Staff from other locations should be brought here to see how gyms should be attended to. Also excellent in Michael Brown, GM. He even helps if there are any problems I have with other LAF locations on travel
