I read many negative online reviews about Roto-Rooter, but my experience was very positive. Jerson Lopez and Rob Hubbard were super friendly and did the job right. When they left my kitchen sink was running smoothly and everything was cleaned up properly. Was very appreciative that these guys came on a Saturday, fixed my issue and didn’t try to sell me anything extra other than what was quoted. Would call again for sure.

I was very impressed with my technician! He was very professional, knowledgeable and informative of what I needed to do when certain plumbing issues occur. Specifically, my water heater needed to get replaced after it burst and flood the basement. I consulted and received estimates from about six companies near my area. Roto Rooter was by far the number one choice when it came to customer service and estimate pricing options for a replacement water heater or upgrade to a tankless water heater. Will definitely use them again in the future for our plumbing needs!!

Called Roto Rooter because there was a major leak in my kids room. Called and operator advised help will is about a 2 hour wait. 15 minutes later I received a call from repair guy saying hell be about 30-45 minutes. Gentleman arrived and instantly said we needed to replace water heater unit and needed an expansion tank too for the cost of $3400. He didnt even bother to inspect the unit to see where the water leak was and just assumed that there was corrosion. Needless to say there was no repair done and no findings of the actual leak. We wont be calling them again.

Appointment for 27 Sep 21 between 8am to 12pm. The on-call team did not show until 28 Sep 21 at approx. 1pm. We called about a ceiling leak in our kitchen and when they arrived they said they couldn’t do the work because they didn’t have a ladder tall enough. Thankfully we own an 8ft ladder and were able to provide it for use. They began cutting into our ceiling without setting up a fan, offering covers, or anything else to help mitigate the amount of dust and debris that would accumulate throughout the house. My husband had to tell them to stop working so he could pull our vacuum out and assist them as they continued cutting into the dry wall since they didn’t make the attempt to do it themselves. As a professional service, the members in the field should have a better understanding of potential concerns for inhaling dust and debris while they are working in someone’s home. They showed no concern for their own health or that of my family. We expected it to be messy but we also expected them to try to mitigate the impacts. No attempt was made at all. Furthermore, they wore shoe covers inside our home, yet didn’t bother to take them off when walking outside to and from their work van. Frankly it felt like the use of shoe covers was for the homeowner’s “benefit” but a moot point since they didn’t remove them when going back outside. It seemed to pose a false sense of respect for our home. When they set the drain tube up they did so in our kitchen sink and wrapped it around the sink facet in a sloppy manner so that we couldn’t use the sink at all. Again, we have an infant and need to be able to use the sink for bottles and such. I don’t expect the team to know that per say but I do expect a professional service to anticipate that a customer is probably going to need to use their kitchen over the next week. This was just a small measure of consideration that wasn’t offered. We moved the drain tube out of the sink and into a bucket on our own. During their “cleanup” efforts they used our vacuum. I don’t know if they had a shop-vacuum and simply didn’t want to go get it or what but using our home vacuum for work like that was unprofessional to say the least. To add to it, they didn’t bother to empty it out or clean it up after use. My husband and I had to spend majority of the next morning cleaning up the home and removing as much debris and dust as possible for the safety of our infant. This was expected but not to the extent in which we had to do so.We were told that they would come back each day to conduct reading checks. It took 6-days before the team came back to complete their first reading. They would call and say they would be there by a certain time and then just not show up. One 1 Oct 21, I noticed two missed calls around 6pm. This was the first time they tried to contact us after their initial visit. No voicemail was left and I had already provided them with my husband’s phone number twice as the primary contact since I do not have my phone on me at all times. They called me again on 3 Oct 21 and left no voicemail. I was at military drill and when I called them back they said they had contacted my husband and would be there soon. They didn’t show up. When they finally did show on 5 Oct 21 the reading was still very high, 48 down to 33, it needs to be below 16 I think? They stated that they may want to cut into the wall on the second floor and move the fans to have a more direct effect. Had they returned the second or third day the idea to move the equipment to another room could have been done days ago and we might have a different reading after a week. Obviously there is no way to tell but yet again the lack of attempt to do the job the correct way is noticed.Any time you have a leak in your home you expect the process to be impactful and messy but the lack of professionalism, awareness, timeliness, and unpreparedness to preform their work is why I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Tim from Roto-Rooter was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot the drainage issue and unclog the drain pipes allowing for the standing water to be drained properly.

$689 to snake and clean out a main line drain. Asked the gentlemen how long it would take and he stated about 30min to a hour. I am not sure what world we live in where a plumber gets paid 500+ an hour (minus the equipment). I cannot believe people pay this and by judging the reviews I almost guarantee that they coupon they offer is tied to leaving a positive review. This company is literally taking advantage of people who think they have no other option. I will give it to the employee, he was polite and professional and timely to come out to the house. Two stars, will take care of the issue myself or wait for a plumber to come by that is not going to price gouge us into poverty.

Our tech was on time and time efficient. He looked at all possible reasons for the water damage and came up with a plan to fix it on the spot. I felt that my home was fully taken care of by the time he was done.

Certainly not the cheapest, but they really came through on very short notice. Had a leaky shower faucet pop up on a weekend right before heading out of town, with everyone else closed. Went on Roto-Rooters website at 11 am and Joe was here at 4 pm. Done with all the work by 6:30 pm and its working perfectly. Even gave some options for other things but not pushy at all. Would definitely recommend if you have an urgent issue.

They came within an hour on a Sunday (Father’s Day) to repair a clog in our main sewage line. They follow up in the morning to check on the bigger issue with a camera. Our technician was very respectful, honest, and efficient. We’re very happy with the emergency service and staff.

The technician, Carlos, diagnosed the blockage quickly and fixed the problem promptly. He was pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. Pleased with the service!

Marqui, our technician, was prompt and courteous. He got the job done in surprisingly short time, and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him. I was a little disappointed in the cost of the labor, but he assured me that is a regular cost and not a weekend extra.

The plumber did a great job of fixing my leaking shower faucet. Highly recommend this business.

The tech spent a long time on my shower and was not able to snake the line. He left the drain cover off and the screws for it on the edge of the shower with the door open, along with a piece of broken cable. I have dogs who could have very easily hurt themselves in any of these pieces.He said he couldn’t fix it so they were going to have to come back to use the water jet on the line. I scheduled that service and then received a call that the truck was down and they didn’t know when it was going to be fixed….but still charged me for the failed snake attempt. And I still do not have a working shower.

Service was done on the same day (within just a few hours), the gentleman that came out was very nice and offered some advice and showed me how to use the tool and where to buy it that he used to unclog my toilet which I thought would be a bigger issue. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars was that I was not given any sort of estimate over the phone or at least told that it is $300 just for someone to come out or how much per hour. I understand that all situations are different and a true estimate is not able to be given until someone sees what is going on but being given some sort of information would have been appreciated. Just something to think about for future customers.

My water heater leaked and required replacement on a Saturday. Roto-rooter was responsive and had someone out in a few hours. They then went to get the water heater and installed it all within the 4 hour estimated time frame. Very satisfied with the workmanship and professionalism of the plumbers that did the work.

Our tech, Tim was very good, clean, informative, and thorough, when fixing our toilet. Hope that the water company will let me use his bill and the previous bill, because he had to complete the job from that previous service call.

We needed outdoor plumbing help from our sewage pipe being broken in the ground. They were able to come out same day and have the job completed the following morning. It was an extensive job with the county involved needing permits and Roto Rooter facilitated all of the work quickly. Outstanding service and work.

Richard was great and explained what was going on and was friendly. He went with me to purchase a toilet to save money in the end I will use roto rooter again and ask for Richard.

This morning at 830am I discovered my toilet was leaking in my condo. As I only have a 1 bath, it was imperative that it was fixed as soon as possible. I called Roto-Rooter and they said they could have someone out between the hours of 9-12. At 11 the technician Brang #3552 showed up and was able to review the situation. I said we would like a full replacement and he quoted it on the spot and was back within the hour with a new toilet. He worked quietly (some drilling and sanding) for about 90 minutes and we had a brand new, fully working, ADA-compliant toilet! I was so happy that it was done within hours instead of days. No waiting around for parts or anyone, and it was so easy! I was so happy I called and I know you will be too!

We had an emergency plumbing outage after contractors in the neighborhood accidentally hit our main sewage line. Roto Rooter helped us at each step - diagnosing the issue, getting a team out, etc. Every staff member we worked with was very friendly and professional. We would absolutely recommend them!

Mr Jerson Lopez was my technician and he came to my house several months ago for a toilet stoppage. He said that due to the toilet being so old (7 years) that the main flow valve could go out due to the well water my house uses. He was right the valve went out a few days ago and I thought about doing it myself, but I thought it might be a a better idea to have a plumber do it. Jerson installed the valve I bought for my toilet and gave me some go advice on what to watch out for if I do it myself. After successful installation, Jerson stayed awhile to make sure the toilet flushed correctly and the water came back to the toilet correctly. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Jerson for your plumbing needs.

Mack and Aaron did a great job, I was extremely happy with the care they took moving the old tank out of my house and moving the new tank in. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, cleanly, and was great around the kids too! Overall, wonderful experience! Its nice to find a company and folks who arent just there because its a job. So happy with the service from Clarence at Roto Rooter. The entire ordeal was a hot mess due to my home warranty but he was patient and communicative the entire way! I needed a full hot water heater replacement and Clarence got it done with a smile on his face. SO grateful to have everything fixed!

The technicians were fast and took care of the issue I was having with my garbage disposal. Only thing I would recommend would be for the technician to state the cost of repair before completion. I was not expecting to pay $279 (this was after a $75 discount coupon) for a quick repair. Literally took them about 5-10 mins to resolve my jammed garbage disposal. It would of been nice to have an option.

Called Roto-Rotor on Sunday and they showed up within 3 hours to repair a leak we had inside of our basement due to a faulty spigot. They replaced the spigot within a few hours and leak was gone. and added a shut-off valve hehind it. Our service technician were professional and courteous. Other than the cost was a little steep and I could not wait for other technicians, i am glad they were able to fix my leak.

It was just a 2 hour time window and I got a phone call 30 minutes before arrival. The technician arrived within 15 minutes of the call. He was very professional. I explained the issue, he made a review of the problem and provided me with a quote along with assurance that if it could not be done, then there would be no charge. He was quick to get to work and, when finished, completely explained what he did and found. I was so pleased with the entire process from the online appointment submittal to completion. I am very happy with Roto Rooter and would definitely use them again.
