The guy who took my computer in was super professional so I thought this would be a good experience.They called me back a few days later and told me my motherboard was not working and that I needed a new one. Total charge parts and labor was $270 which btw the part is like $40-$75 and would take 15-45 minutes to install.I declined the offer and asked for my computer back.The guy who gave my computer back was not as professional. I didn’t realize u til I got home that Instead of all my thumbscrew on the back I have 2 of my original ones and 2 random regular screws for the other side.... don’t know what else they messed with inside but to not keep track of screws for a computer is already a bad sign in my opinion.

(I went here to get my laptop fixed at one point. I also went here to get my brothers laptop fixed. )They were very responsive, and were able to tell me exactly what would be happening with my device, whether I just brought it in or during the process of it being fixed. They fixed my device with efficiently and great attention to detail. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs any of their electronic items fixed.

I brought in an iPhone 7 that had stopped charging a while back to see if it could be resurrected for my child. I was greeted professionally and politely. Because the phone wasn’t able to charge or turn on they fairly stated they would have to check if it was just the charging port or another issue. They said it “Will take a while to check it out” and would call me. I had expected this to mean a day or two but when I asked they said “Oh, an hour or two”. They quoted me a very reasonable price if it was just the charging port.True to their word they called me back just two hours later to tell me it was indeed just the charging port and it was now repaired. I picked it back up just a short while later and everything was working perfectly and I was charged exactly what I was quoted.Being my first time coming here I was very impressed with their courtesy, speed and quality of work. My repaired phone is still working perfectly thanks to Geeks Zone.

I had a problem with my HP Printer and took it to Geeks Zone. They let me know the cost if repairable and diagnostic cost. After they determined the part needed was no longer available they let me know right away. They reduced the diagnostic fee by half and also agreed (upon my request) to dispose of the printer since it was not repairable. I would recommend this shop to others. I like honesty and thats what they gave.

We purchased a refurbished laptop on the internet for our teenager. A few months later, a hinge broke...hideously. Dont get me started on the warranty companys response. Naturally, COVID-19 virtual school was about to begin, so we didnt need poor or slow service, so I carefully read reviews for a great place to go. Geeks Zone in Montclair, only minutes from my house? Never even knew it was there. Brought the laptop over, and the technician said he could bolt the hinges and repair the screen, making the laptop more secure than it was originally. The repair was solid, aesthetically well-done (I thought the bolts would be ugly but they arent), affordable, and done in just a few days. I will definitely go there for future needs. Its been months since the repair, and its still holding strong. Oh, and the technician advised one of my other kids about another broken laptop...said even if we repaired it, it couldnt be upgraded to do what we needed it to do. He prevented us from wasting money on a repair due to our lack of knowledge on computers. We are grateful for the advice.

Got my iPhone screen fixed there. Was a bit of a problem with it because some of the sensors were broken on my phone and they agreed just that I would just need to pay for the materials cost. I got another screen replaced there and the phone worked perfectly.

They are scams. Frauds. My iPhone screen was damaged. Asked to come back after about 45 min for pickup it was almost new iphone 6s actually. The screen was working perfect and charges were decent. BUT I REALIZE AFTER FEW HOURS THAT THEY HAVE CHANGED THE ORIGINAL BATTERY IN MY IPHONE. Now if would last more than 45 min. Stay there at the office if you want to change the screen or do something else with your phone.

My daughter was thrown into the pool with her cell in her pocket. Took it in and diagnostics run and phone returned within 3 hours. Very polite, informative service. Very economical. Highly recommend!

This place is legit, I came to get my chrome fix because the darn thing would not allow me to long on. But turan told me what he can do for a fair amount. I accepted. I still needed a computer. I told him what it was for and he was able direct me to a perfect match. I actually added up purchasing from him. It was a used one but really heavy duty. I had a buffer in mind, but exceeded it because I saw this computer being a great fit. Over all I like his personal approach and everything worked out perfect. Oh I forgot, i got my sons phone fix too while I was there. It was actually done the same day. My Chromebook will be done shortly.Once again I am pleased

Amazing! my friend accidently spilled hot sticky coffee all over my laptop. I thought it was done for. Luckily, the team at geek zone fixed it perfectly!! This is the best cell phone repair shop. They were the only ones that were able to get my SIM card from my Samsung Galaxy S7 to work outside of the Sprint network, after I paid it off. I am so happy I was able to keep my phone, service was awesome. Turan really worked hard to get me up and running. I cant thank them enough. Definitely would recommend!

Got quoted the price for a new part installation, they said they instead fixed it with a new solder on the charge port, which is a relatively easy fix but was still quoted the price for the brand new part, got scalped always ask for a new price for the work or theyll rip you off too

THE BEST! Cracked my yellow iPhone 5c while running in the rain:( My front camera was messed up, couldnt take cute selfies any more without having a gray streak in the middle of my pics. I went there with a power port issue. I wielded it month ago. It became loose again. I dont have tools with me, and a game is waiting to update,so, i went there for help. Tech told me it will cost me $120,I told him it only took me 20 minutes less to do this job. He answered with a bad attitude: does not matter 10 minutes or 20 minutes, 120,ok. Then he turned around. Dont ever go to this Store, it is off.
