Wonderful service! The Hyundai dealer near me couldn’t schedule me until September. Koons had availability the next day. Randy was very kind and helpful. He kept me updated with the status of my car while I was there. They have nice waiting room with vending machines if you want to wait there for your car. Will definitely recommend to other Hyundai drivers.

Randy is always my go to person - he has a way of explaining things in normal terms, he’s not trying to overcharge or do things some other shops do. He is patient and since I have moved further away, I still come to Koons Woodbridge just for Randy’s amazing customer service. I am never disappointed when I know I hand my keys over to Randy.
Communication wasnt what I expected. They fixed the car, its fine now but I was waiting on a part and expected a call to update me on if it had been received or not and no call came. I had to call several times to get a status update. When I called the third time, they told me the person leading the team on my repair was the only one who could tell me the status of my repair. I think that is just a terrible system because I left him a message already and he didnt get back to me. Communication could have been better. Everything else was fine.
This dealership has owed me over $350 for a car rental reimbursement for over 3 1/2 months. A few more weeks and I’m planning to send the transcripts of assured reimbursement to the BBB. They had no loaners available when I had my car serviced and gladly took me over to the enterprise across the street for a covered rental. Fast forward over three months and HUNDREDS of calls/texts/emails later and I’m still waiting. Every time they say they have an answer and then they use the wrong charge code, or have the wrong POC at Enterprise, or the approval goes to the wrong person, and they hand me off to someone else to contact. It’s been truly infuriating and I will never bring my car here for service again. Beware!!Note for below: Anthony, I’ve tried calling multiple times and always get your voicemail. I’ve left messages, but have not heard back. I received a check today that is not the amount I was charged, which was given to Elliott multiple times. Please return my call ASAP.
My daughter went to get her oil changed and a 150 pt check. I just took her but we dropped car off at 2 pm and less than an hour, mechanic called and car was ready. They did a wonderful job. My daughter was very pleased. They checked everything and all is well. Great job Hyundai. She and I was very pleased.
I recently purchased a Hyundai Palisade and unfortunately we picked up a nail along the way. I made an appt and they took the car in right at the appt. The service manager kept me informed on the progress. My car was detailed right after the repair. Great job by all.
My experience was NOT good, 2 or 3 weeks after having the car the check engine light came on, and the car stopped working while I was moving and had my family in the car, this made it ver dangerous for us. I then went to the dealership I got the car from and was by a manager “the light was not on when you left here” as if to say it was my problem now. I was not happy. The car then had to be fixed at a Chevy dealer because I was told by the service center that they did not have the technology to run a diagnostic on my vehicle to see what was wrong with it. This lead me to believe that the dealership just tried to sell the car and did not care if there was anything wrong with it. $1027 later the car was fixed and thanks to the warranty I had bought I only had to pay a deductible which I was then reimbursed for. I user stood the car was used but it was new to me and any issuers should have been taken care of prior. I will never go back to this dealership to purchase another vehicle and will not send anyone there to buy a vehicle either
I had my State Safety Inspection done. In addition to State safety requirements, they also performed other general car inspection at no cost. Being able to schedule the appointment and having my car taken in on time was a real time saver. I would recommend Koon’s Hyundai service station and plan on using them in the future
I went in to see if there was a leak in my tires. Not only did they not find the leak that I found in a few minutes of my own searching, but they also incorrectly told me I needed to replace brakes and the serpentine belt. Three hours later, I got my car back and it was making noises like I had an exhaust leak. They had forgotten to close up my air cleaner cover. I went in with a leaky tire and left with more issues that would not otherwise have existed. Irresponsible, unprofessional, and inadequate service.

UPDATED 09JULY21: I wish to express my extraordinarily high degree of Joy & Satisfaction experienced each time my 17 Elantra Sport has been serviced at Koons Hyundai in Woodbridge.For example, today, right when I had parked outside the Service Center at 0735, Elliot had stepped out to greet me with clipboard & service tickets in-hand, in order to discuss the normal maintenance which I had previously scheduled - the Service Center was prepared, ready, and completely professional. Now, this sort of stuff matters quite alot, as part of the overall ownership experience.Throughout the Service today, Randy kept me up-to-moment informed on everything the Service Techs were finding, concerning my vehicle; further, Randy provided appropriate suggestions to maintain the top-performance of my Engine and Transmission.Near the end of the service, Service Tech Justin (while intently examining the engine bay) had identified components that may become potential issues in the future and provided suggestions on what to look out for...All in all - this is BEST Car I have ever owned. There is just NEVER an issue with it! Ill further illustrate my point by saying that during my 30s, like many others starting to develop a little Cashflow, I was driving pre-owned yet Bank-financed (really stupid - paying interest on whats [effectively a] liability) higher-end German vehicles because I had mistakenly assumed this was some sort of mark-of-success - a totally incorrect notion, btw... all these vehicles really do is blow-up your cost-of-living. Now, nearing 50y/o, I consider my purchase-in-Cash, as well as Ownership, of a much-less-expensive [yet, tremendously more reliable and easier/cheaper to Maintain/Operate] Hyundai a real step-up. Everything in my Hyundai ALWAYS works - nothing breaks/malfunctions.Id recommend this vehicle far & wide to anyone looking for an intelligent alternative to supposedly higher-end (READ: just Higher-Priced) vehicles.--------------Previous Review: The Service Techs and Service Lobby Personnel are fantastic at Koons Hyundai in Woodbridge (formerly, Malloy Hyundai). I purchased my vehicle at this Dealership in Feb.17, and have had every service & inspection of the vehicle performed at this Dealership because, I trust these guys to do the job right.
Everything was taken care of without any surprises. Noone tried to sell me summer air for my tires or brake light fluid.

I really dislike giving negative reviews, and coming from a service based industry wished I could review some positivity. However, that would not be a fair an accurate description of the lack of empathy, dishonest mentality, and overall subpar facilities this location has. They didn’t over charge me, I have no complaints about my own lack of comprehension for the cost of dealer pricing. I just sat in the “lounge” for two services, totaling approximately 4 hours, and listened to a multitude of cold calls, no concern when relaying difficult news, and then blatantly lying to me about filling my tire with air! (Side note, I stated at the start that if it couldn’t be done to not worry about it, and then upon checking at departure, it wasn’t done.) everything just equates a lack of Builds Trust and only conveys Breaks Trust to me. I am a believer in honest hard work, not skating around the minimums and lying as a foundation of my service needs. For this I will not be back.
