Its a cute store, but but definitely needs some tlc and shaping up. There wasnt much to look at honestly. They were putting up Halloween stuff, so its understandable that a few shelves where empty and boxes on the isles in preparation for it. But the main isle with little toys and treats for parties was pretty empty too. The giant gumball display was completely empty around it in the little candy spots. And was kind of hard to navigate around ladders, empty boxes, and bags. I wish it was kept up a little more because it used to be so fun. But I will say the staff that helped me check out was very nice! Also, they have plenty of balloons, napkins, and plates in different colors.

I went in and bought balloons. Was right.in time. Said Id be back at 3. Came at 4, had to wait 20 minutes and my.ballooms werent blown up. The girl working balloons jumped all on it and got the. Some super fast for me which I appreciated so much.

We used to love shopping at party city for Halloween. I was shocked to walk in and see they had about 1/3 of the selection they normally have to choose from. Guess well be ordering online from now on.

I love to shop here. I just had my 50th Birthday celebration and they had everything I wanted. They also offer Military Discounts. Parking lot is available and clean. Store is clean inside. Staff is definitely friendly and helpful. Prices are within reason to most people budgets. Its just a lot of fun to shop here. Thanks for being so awesome.

Extremely long wait times. I arrived ready to purchase a few supplies and 4 balloons . I was told I would need to wait around an hour for them to be inflated bc they had online orders. I responded but there is no one in store right now. I’ve never heard of this. I cancelled my order and went to another party city 30 minutes away picked up my items promptly had my balloons inflated, went on my way. Don’t waste your time here. Poor customer service and dishonest.

Dont buy balloons here. They say they cant inflate them and to come back in 3 hours. Had to go somewhere else to get helium. When I called back to ask about refunds for the helium they didnt give me, they said the price of helium is included whether the balloon is inflated or not. They told every customer before me to come back to get helium too. Go somewhere the employees actually want to work.

Store not very stocked and staff seemed stressed or something. Were not very happily serving customers. Had to wait a long time for a pre-order. Checkout was quicker than pre-order pickup.

Came in when store opened at 8 to get 11 balloons blown up and they told me to come back at 1p because they had pre paid orders ahead of me. I was the only customer in the store. No one was outside waiting to pick up an order. One girl was standing doing nothing and they couldn’t take 5 mins to blow up my balloons then. I will never come back to party city.

Today there was a small mix up with an order I had for delivery for my daughters 16th Birthday. The manager on duty today (03/29/2021) went above and beyond to make sure the issue was taken care of. It was probably the best customer service I’ve ever had. I hope she knows she helped make my daughters birthday so special!

If I could give no stars I would. I bought balloons here and they said it would be a 3 hour wait to inflate them… no body was filling the balloons up at the time. So I went to Publix and ended up paying $8 per balloon to fill with helium. I called party city to get a refund of the charge of helium. They told me they would not give me a refund even though I had proof that’s stated I had paid for helium elsewhere.

Not enough selection. And still not enough selection online either. Multiple visits the employees at the counters seem to be in an ill mood. Not sure whats going on here, but I suggest you hire people who actually want to work and have great attitudes.

This place is amazing! The most helpful friendliest staff! Overpriced balloons though just saying.

Showed up to collect balloons and supplies after ordering online. The two women at the service desk were rude and unfriendly. They didn’t know what our order was and left out a number of items. We had to return to the store to pick up the rest of our order. Then a day after the party the balloons deflated and looked terrible. Definitely won’t be returning to this location.

It is O.K. they need more Employees. Everyone is a teen working. Not that all teens are bad yet, experience needed. I also called and was told they did not have what I asked yet online they did. I just went in. So if you call good luck on getting the Truth. So said I had to take a chance on driving a long way to find out. My experience online told more truth than the young lady who answered the phone. She did not even know what color yellow was.😱

Party City does not change much in the ways of inventory. I have had however the experience of them not letting customers in 5 minutes before closing time. This was not my experience in this last visit but it has been before. So my review maybe untimely and inaccurate but I did not share this before. Last time it happened to me was last year before the pandemic.

Had no issues making a return even after being past the 30 days. But they was out of helium.

Helium is over priced! They will blow up your own balloons but its a little pricey. $1.19 per regular sized balloon and $8.00 big ones.

Better items at Walmart I was very surprised at party City they didnt have the simplest things..

Two hour wait on filling balloons up with helium. After waiting thirty minutes to place an order on the balloons was told I was in the wrong line and had to go to the register then was told its a two hour wait. I just wanted a few balloons not alot. Only seen two people blowing them up and then one walked off. Dont know what was going on. They were even super behind on online orders. So I wouldnt trust ordering online either and expecting to get balloons on time

The selection is great, but they seem to never have enough staff on Saturdays, their busiest day. 1 register open the last 3 times Ive been on a Saturday. Several hour wait times to get balloons filled, just not worth it. Either order ahead or just order online. Get your balloons filled at almost any grocery store, and not have to wait 3+ hours.

Very helpful and polite. Need to increase the age on parties flavor. My uncle turns 99yrs today. You only go up to 80 in somethings and 90 in cards.

I went on Saturday, Oct 2 around 5:45pm To get balloons blowed up for my grandsons birthday, I had to wait about 20 minutes for my balloons to get blown up. I dont blame the young lady who was blowing up the balloons, because she was doing other jobs, like answering the phone, assisting other customers and at the same she remained pleasant and professional. The other young lady was helping customers at the checkout counter.. There were only 2 employees in the front, doing more than one job, but they were very courteous to their customers. I dont know where the manager was, but they could have been out there helping these young ladies out. By the way, they do need help, there is a sign that they are hiring.

Wide variety of party and holiday items. Was there just before Halloween and even so the line for costumes seemed to be moving quickly. Checkout seemed to be moving slowly due to computer lag - did not appear to be a staffing issue. More than enough parking, though it can get tight around holidays and special events.

Plenty of variety where you can have fun getting creative to throw any themed party you desire. I would give 5 stars but the customer service isnt consistent. Ive had wonderful visits, and some not so pleasant. Overall I enjoy shopping here for party supplies.

I love the selection of party favors and the location! There are so many things to purchase to create the perfect treat bags. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

Probably the best place in Winston Salem to get party decorations. Its fun to come here and pick what youll buy and walk around looking at products, but personally Id prefer buying online, I believe Id get better deals there, but you cant always wait on deliveries so its always good to go to a physical location and buy what you need.

They had a good stock of Halloween items for last minute shoppers. They were fairly well organized for the crazy. Employees were patient even when faced with some rude people.

This place is fine. My church hosted a trunk or treat at Halloween a couple years back and I came here to stock up on stuff for it. There was a pretty limited variety of supplies for the event but the prices for the things we ended up getting were good prices so I couldnt complain, and in the end, the community had a great time and we have over a thousand people come through so it was a success.

Excellent staff. Very helpful. My four grandkids all got what they wanted. Very pleased.

The staff was pretty straightforward and nice. The guy that helped me with balloons for my young daughters birthday was very helpful, listened to what I asked and got me the fastest and easiest solution. Their selection was really good for halloween, unless youre a costume enthusiast and like to make your own costumes from scratch. They has off-season stuff too, so it was easy to find what I wanted and even browse a bit as well. Big store size.

Cashier was super nice and friendly. Store was a mess. Merchandise all over the floor, shelves empty, boxed merchandise on pallets all over the back of store from wall to wall 2 pallets deep. Really was disgusting. An accident waiting to happen with all the stuff on the floor. At least 4 or 5 employees at the front of the store too busy laughing and talking to be bothered to clean up the isles.

This was one of the worst Party Citys Ive been to. There was no merchandise on the shelves and the store was trashed. There was stuff strung all over the floors! We walked in and walked right back out!

Great selections high prices. Also the lines are always horrible on the weekends. Not sure what kind of system they have in place for busy times but they need to re evaluate it.

Person sitting in their car in the Handicapped accessibility parking with no Handicapped placard or tags, plus they were throwing their trash out the car on the ground. PEOPLE HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE HANDICAPPED.

Love my cat ears I got for Halloween. Iraq time when I went out for the evening they were five of us they stayed on all night I bought them last minute they were literally two pairs left couldnt find any all over town thank you party City!!! 😊😁

I went there to get balloons first my grandsons birthday and was charged a first blowing up the balloons. I understand that there should be a charge but not a $1.25 per balloon just to blow it up you buy a pack of balloons for 5.99 and pay $6 to have them blown up over $6 because theres six in a pack so you pay as much to have it blown up as you do for the balloons plus the large balloon that we purchased we were charged for it too so I think theyre a little bit pricey on that I love to shop there but I still think that the price for blowing balloons up should be less

After walking around for about 10 minutes looking for a product. I finally came across an associate who looked less than thrilled to be there. Showed him a picture of what i was looking for asked if they had it in stock. He looked at the picture and shrugged his shoulders and said I dont know but you can try looking maybe this aisle or maybe 4 or 5 I dont know... I originally had a basket full of items to purchase but due to the lack of customer service I sat everything down. Id rather order online.
