I went in for a wash and came out with half my windshield wiper broken into pieces. So sad omg

Before getting a Zips membership Id go to gas station car wash pay for the high dollar premium wash but my car would never really be that clean. Having a newer cool looking car but it never looked that great. So I stopped wasting my money and didnt wash it much. But when I tried Zips it came out great even shined up my tires like Id had them specially done. You can tell youre getting a TRUE premium wash. Plus with free vacuums that saves 2-3 dollars each time. Zips is car washing done right.

My car is an Audi Q5 and Ive been through many car washed off this type. First ill say this car wash is expensive compared to others of this type. $10 for a basic wash and$15 for the next step up. My wheels were very dirty so i opted for the $15 wash which included a wax. I never saw the wax come on and my wheels were not very clean when i came out. The self service vacuums dont reach very far and mine did not work on the drivers side. They did provide towels to dry your car which would have been a nice perk if they had not been dirty!! I would not suggest this car wash and would not return.

Where are the lights? It’s supposed to be a light show and there are almost no lights. That’s literally the best part of experience. Also, the vacuums are not very powerful. For a monthly monthly fee, we deserve more.

No pre wash or bug wash station, car smells out not so clean as a result, there are better washes for less. $10 for this one and you can’t even leave once you pull up and see prices.

I was disappointed in this Zips Wash at Marriott Residence Inn. The attached photo was taken directly after wash, bugs still on front /in grill. Also on windshield.The young man, I believe Josh was nice but he informed me they don’t have the correct water pressure. He said they couldn’t spray my vehicle before entering the wash due to the incorrect water pressure.

Use to be great but for the last 2 months, the water sprayer does not move back and forth so the driver side of the car does not get the soap washed off. They also have stopped pre spraying the car before it goes through... Definitely rethinking my monthly plan

I usually go through the wash at this location 2-3 times a month. It’s a quick and easy wash and the free vacuums are a great amenity. Really convenient with my busy schedule, and worth what you pay. The workers have always been very welcoming and helpful. Never had a bad experience so far!

I visited this site to have my Chrysler Pacifica cleaned on 9/2/2021 and I am thoroughly disappointed. My vehicle isn’t even close to being clean—it looks terrible. This was way to expensive for just some ride-through wash.

This place stinks. You pay a good amount for wax and car shine. Literally no car shine and no noticeable wax. The employees act like they hate being there. They didn’t spray my car down before going in like they done so many times before. Last time I go there.

Car wash was broken and they still allowed people to pay for a wash and go through. When asked about the broken wash, the staff AND manager was fully aware that it was broken and did not offer a refund. Bad business.

The carwash started out good. However, we have been to three locations in the last couple months, and the carwash has been malfunctioning at all three. (no soap, no tire shine, only rinsing one side of car, etc.). Sometimes the employees will pre wash the vehicle, other times they begrudgingly walk out and just start the conveyor. Also, we canceled the monthly plan on a vehicle we sold and they continued to charge us. Contacted the Zips office on two occasions to resolve and can not get a response. Cancelling our monthly service... plenty of other carwash options to try.

I received great service today! This is my favorite car wash to go to. Workers are very friendly and make sure I get a prewash/spray every time! James and management have always been very kind and helpful!

Car wash did not operate normally last 2 times Ive been, time to try another similar car wash. This time there was no window cleaner outside either. This location has went downhill in the last few months. Tire shine only was applied on drivers side also.

I used to love this place but it has really gone downhill over the last few months. I just went through and didnt get the pre-spray but instead watched an employee texting on his phone. Also, they have hadnt any tire shine recently. If its not that then its usually something else thats broken. The other locations are top notch so Im not sure why this one cant pull it together 🙄

Awesome deal for the unlimited package but the people that dont have passes slow down the process tremendously. Stop closing off one of the lanes... leave them both open, especially after 6! Theres no excuse not to just leave it open for the unlimited subscribers.

I went to zips car wash today on hanes mill Rd in winston salem at approximately 1:20 pm as I was heading into the carwash a man comes out with a very displeased look on his face starts spraying off my van and then proceeds to knock on my window very hard and yells at me to get my feet off the brakes and to put my car in neutral which by the way is what I was in the process of doing, he was very rude and unprofessional he yelled at me as if I was a dog and not a paying customer, he made the experience at zips car wash very unpleasant with that being said if I had not purchased a monthly pass I would never go there again horrible customer service.

They dont have a phone number to inquire about your acct. They make it very difficult to ask questions which is bad business.i canceled my membership.

Bought the monthly plan and go at least once a week. So worth it, IMHO. Check plan specs, but with the one I purchased, the barcode gets me into any of their locations in any state (179 stores in 17 states.) Wasnt certain it was worth the expense, but Im very happy with my decision.

Today I went to wash my car; I have the unlimited car wash package and Caitlyn at this location would not rinse my car. When I asked her to, she snarled and rolled her eyes and walked away resulting in a DIRTY car. I didnt have the time to drive back through again. But needless to say my car is still dirty no help to CAITLYN being lazy.But I did need additional help and JEREMY was amazing and helpful helping me with everything else.*SUGGESTION* You should probably make a place on your site for comments/concerns/complaints to handle these matters.(I am a multiple times a week user of these car washes)

Zips car wash is great, but this location is terrible. Only one lane usually open and most of the time the person rinsing your car at the beginning doesn’t rinse or they are on their phone not even looking at your car. The Clemmons location is way better.

This is by far the worst location of the three. They don’t rinse your car anymore. When I asked why, I was given a snarky comment about how it doesn’t do anything anyway. The Clemmons and University locations are way better.Get new employees there. They don’t care one bit.

It looks like the machines are not working correctly, my car wasnt wash correctly and they dont have a hose with air take the rest of the water

Went on my last day of my fast pass. something was wrong with final rinse. suds everywhere. went back through and told the attendant, she said we are having problems the system. instead of fixing the problem she lets me go back through, now i have double the suds when i exit. Good thing i had a towel to wipe down my truck in the Conns parking lot.

January 27th, I went to Zip’s car wash on Oxford Station in W-S, NC. It was about an hour and a half until they closed. I bought a monthly pass for $14.95. The woman working was alone and I believe I must have woken her up from a nap. I was the only one at the carwash, after I excited the carwash I was going to go and get my window sticker when I noticed there were no products to help me with cleaning my car. The vacuums on both sides where I parked were broken. I went to find the employee and could not. I finished cleaning my car and left. When I got home, I went online to the Zip’s carwash website to tell them about my experience and sent an email. I received an email that said my ticket had been accepted and should hear back in 72 hours.I forgot about it until February 28th when Zip’s charged my count $34.95. I never filled out the paperwork for an account nor did I receive a window sticker. The carwash I use now, I had to fill out paperwork and then sign the receipt and give it to them authorizing the deduction. I should have read the screen when I used my card at Zip’s, I must have authorized the deduction. I filled out an online ticket as I had done before and received a response email telling me that someone would get back to me in 72 hours. Now it is March. Zip’s carwash has now tried to debit me the $34.95 for my membership 4 days in a row. I have filled out 14 tickets and have not heard a word. I want a full refund. How do they get away with this? Why are they not held accountable for this? Why are they in business yet care nothing at all for their customers or the state of their carwashes.

Car had a lot of sand and grit underneath from a trip to the coast, took it by and wanted a full wash.... there was a 1 month unlimited special which I did not want... somehow I ended up buying this and my card being charged for a recurring charge when I didnt agree to do this and was told by the person who actually made the selection for me that it was just giving me a better deal that time to do it. So either I was lied to or he had no clue what he was talking about. Either way.... check your card statements for zips recurring charges. You might have a surprise.

The past few times I’ve gone here I didn’t get the pre wash and tire shine is broken. Employees just load you on the track and walk away. I have the monthly pass and go once a week. I’m debating on canceling my monthly plan.

Almost completely automated. Free vacuum, cleaning clothes provided, lots of spaces for vacuum and post-wash cleaning.

This place is too small for the location. All of the vacuums are not available...they advertise its due to COVID HOWEVER, all the other car washes have all vacuums available. The vacuums need to be serviced more often, they are not as powerful as others around town.

I did the $17 car wash. It did ok. I definitely want pay that again. The vacumes are terrible no suction at all. I ended up plugging in my little vacume that I have to get the job done. Next time I will go to a cheaper wash and put quarters in the vacume t

If you want A quick wash and dont need heavy duty scrubbing then this place is convenient. Some have a big truck either my friends raised f150 would not fit. Its like 20 dollars for best kind of wash. But I have gotten same results with the chapters 6 dollar option. Good thing is free vacuum and clean drying towels. The also have these cool mat cleaner that you just feed your floor mats into and they get steamed and dried in seconds. Also free.

Half the vacuums work, the other half sort of work, been that way for months. The floor mat washer disappeared yet the prices stay the same. The wash works very well at this location

This place is TRASH. Seriously. Left side of vacuums don’t work. Signs are fading and degraded. Half of the “working” vacuums are clogged or lack sufficient suction. Parking lot is small and hard to maneuver. Wow. This car wash is by far the worst in Winston. And the car wash itself barely does a decent job. I will NEVER return here. And I advise others to go to the wave car wash or sams xpress.

I have been a sales manager for a very long at a very large retailer and two key parts of a successful business are always delivered at shine time. First and foremost they deliver a quality product but what prompted me to write a review and sign both of my vehicles up for monthly plans is the staff that deliver that quality product. Specifically Tony! He is the man and always goes above and beyond to ensure HIS customers are more than satisfied. Keep delivering a great product shine time and most importantly take care of Tony because HE is bringing in business.Did I mention Tony is the man!?

I have been customer of this location since the opening. I spend $30-$45 a month on car washes. In a number of occasions I had confrontation with Mark the manager. And I really have to say he got the worst customer service . Very rude. Very disrespectful. And will never deals with this location or zips until they get sold out again or get out of business and if he gonna run this business like this. One of the two gonN happen soon.

Ive been to Shine Time a couple of times now. Just purchased a monthly plan for my car today. Its an awesome deal, and the car comes out clean every time. The kids love the different colors of suds, and the free vacuum and towels are an awesome touch! It isnt totally full-service, but knowing that before going helped set expectations. Cant wait until next time!

This place is amazing. The line was pretty long but moved very quickly. The attendant was helpful and my car was clean after the wash which Ive learned isnt always the case at other car washes. There were plenty of spray bottles of cleaner and towels available. I will be a regular here for sure

Wow. Save your money. Poor wash and the vacuums even dont work.

I purchased the $20 car wash only to discover the tire shine was only applied to two of the four tires. So I went into the store to let the staff know what happened. Their was a nice lady who said she would refund my money or I could go back through the wash. I chose to go back through. As i was walking back to my car one of the staff approached me and said something is broken so if you go back through it’s just going to do the same thing. So I said thanks for letting me know I will just take the refund. So I go back in the store and there was a different person at the counter (young guy). So I explained everything again. He said he could only refund me the price of the tire shine which is $3 Or I could apply the tire shine myself. I said if I wanted to apply the tire shine myself I would not have purchased a $20 car wash. He said that’s the best he could do. So I took my receipt and left mad. Not only was the tire shine broke but there were no towels to use to wipe down the cars. He should have given me a full refund. The staff had to be aware that the tire shine was broken the lot was full of cars ...just a way to rip people off. This is a terrible way to do business and to treat customers. The wash was not worth $20 my car was still dirty. Needless to say I will not be back!

Ruined when Zips bought Shine Time Express. Vacuum stations are frequently broken now (5 were out today) and the “rinse” is so weak it doesn’t even get all the soap off anymore. They used to wash the rear of your car when you entered the wash but today the guy just stood there with the brush in his hands and didn’t touch my car (same for both cars in front of me). None of the staff was out directing the backup caused by people waiting for working vacuums but there were plenty of them just sitting in the break room. The next time I return will be my last and I am going to cancel my monthly unlimited wash plan. Super disappointing. This place used to be great. I’ll still give it two stars for being faster than auto bell but that’s about all there is good to say.Updated 9-30-18. Just canceled my monthly plan. Gave them one last try. Car came out still covered in soap. Dryer was broken. Tire shine was broken. Now I will have to get it washed somewhere else just to get the soap streaks off. Never going back.

I originally gave them 5 stars but they quickly dropped to 1 star. I canceled my monthly membership today. We had signed up for two cars but even with the best package we drove away with water spots all over the cars. Then we started getting these very tiny specks of something all over the cars that took multiple washes to remove. They also did away with microfiber cloths and switched to cotton cloths that smelled horrible. Were just done with them.I decided to give them another chance today and they failed. The lady who came out to start it up looked very angry. I felt like she was mad that I was there. Then the vacuum cleaner is broken and they have no towels or window cleaner. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Love love LOVE this place. This is the only car wash I go to in town. They always get my car sparkly clean, if not for mayb two spots, which I clear up with the glass cleaner and towels they provide after the car wash. Not only do they provide that, but they also have free vacuums. And even on top of that they have this machine that vacuums and washes your floor mats. I have not one complaint about this place. Even when it’s busy, the process is still quick and easy. Once you go there, it’ll be your favorite car wash too.

Great price, great deal, machines are amazing at cleaning the car. Can’t beat the free vacuums. They have free towels and rug cleaner. My only issue is the staff always acts like they don’t want to be there... which I know is obvious, I wouldn’t want to either. Nonetheless, great customer service and atmosphere is expected but not received here.

Great car wash! Buy a wash, use the vacuums free! Vacuums on both sides of the car make it easy if you go with 2 people. They have a floor mat cleaner also. And wipes for windows and stuff like that. Its a great place. We are definitely going back!

The concept of this car wash is awesome. The wash itself does a fantastic job, and even applies tire dressing at the end!After the wash, you can pull into a self serve spot and vacuum out your car, or use the provided micro fiber cloths and window cleaner to detail your ride.The staff are very friendly and very attending to any questions you may have. I recommend this place to everyone.

Great concept and service is not bad, spinning brushes are a little rough on shiny plastic exterior parts...but DO NOT EXPECT TO GET YOUR CAR ADEQUATELY DONE. There is a 10 minute time limit after you get to the self service area. I drive large vehicles. I cannot get them done in 10 minutes. The vacuum hose would not reach the cargo area of my SUV, so I tried to turn around to get to it. The attendant wouldnt let me. He stated they were busy and needed all the spaces. I told him there needed to be a sign. He pointed and said you just didnt see it. Even after he pointed I did not see it. I have been here a few times and never noticed a sign. I told the attendant I would not return. He said he was sorry and that they were on a learning curve. I guess it is a learning curve of how to run customers away.
