This was A terrible experience. Ultimately they didnt charge me for something they were going to charge me for do to them putting me in a rental that was above my insurance companies agreed amount. That was a error on their end, I just wanted what my insurance was paying for but it took me showing them pictures of the pot (Weed) and dirt in the car when I picked it up before they changed their mind. Im so glad I took photos and recorded the actual event. So very unprofessional. I have always used Hertz but I will never again. Please check your car, take photos and make sure that you are being charged correctly. Best of luck. Im going back to Enterprise...

WORST service with the highest rates possible, they said the rental for a full size sedan was 310 per week, when I got here, they changed to 460, how am I supposed to say to that? I just decided to take an uber home. DO NOT come here or trust their service, NOBODY cares about you. LEAVE here immediately if you value your money.

After having a terrible experience throughout the day looking for places that would rent me a car after an accident, Hertz was truly a breath of fresh air. I was greeted by Kirby, who had some of the best customer service ever. Kirby accommodated me perfectly and made sure that I had the best deal possible, as I am a 21 year old college student working two part time jobs. I also got a better deal here, rather than at Enterprise who treated me terribly.

On November 2020 I was sent to Hertz on Peter’s Creek Parkway to pick up a rental after my car accident. From the very minute I walked in, Nathan had helped me and been very friendly, compassionate and helpful. He turned a bad situation into a pleasant experience.Then I returned again in February 2021 to take care of a rental situation and Nathan and the other workers have bent over backwards to help me with my situation. I cannot speak well enough of how wonderful they have been to me working with my issues and making me feel like I was their only customer. Seems good to work do business with nice people especially as evil as this world is and to have people who actually care. Thank you Nathan and everyone who had helped take a bad situation and turn it into a pleasant experience!! May God bless each of you!!

This Hertz rental agency is quite unassuming, but inside were many friendly, helpful, and pleasant staff. We rented a car from them which we dropped off at the airport on our leaving Winston-Salem. Everything went without a hitch and the friendly staffer even assisted us with a question on our other rental. Great shop!

This location more than exceeded my expectations for a car rental. First, I placed the rental last minute and had some card issues that were becoming a headache for me but Siry and his teammate worked diligently with me so that I could get the rental and explained what process I would need to follow from there to extend it. This trip was a last minute emergency and they lifted that burden from me with ease which i greatly appreciate. Next, Nathan had a friendly demeanor during our follow up phone conversation, when he made sure to contact me regarding the note I left with my return envelope since they were not open on the day I was due back. I will continue to rent from this company and location the next time I need a rental! Rock star team all around!

When my husband and I arrived to pick up the pre-reserved vehicle at Hertz, the representative failed to share the additional fees that was required for an additional driver until AFTER my card was billed for the agreed upon charges.After learning about the multiple other fees (after my card was swiped for the agreed upon charges), I asked if I could cancel the purchase, but I were told my card was already billed. If I knew about the additional fees, I simply would have declined the entire purchase. I felt this practice was deceptive.

This company is Absurd. I use to love Hertz but now I will take my business elsewhere. I will never refer customers to your site or business ever. Im very disappointed for being over charged especially when I was told i wouldnt be. Zero is more appropriate if that was allowed. Must be nice to over charge people in a Pandemic.

Very fast acting business. Very polite and willing to make the custom happy. Was schedule at a different location and they were more than happy to send a driver a did what they need to do however to make the custom happy. Although Im still unsure of the price per day. I did switch the vehicle when I did the paper work. I do recommend this place.

Ive never rent from hertz before this was my first time .The car i received inside was dirty and smells of cigarettes .... In times like today i wouldve thought the car would be cleaned due to covid i had to spray disinfectant on the area i had to touch just to feel safe enough .

Waited for over an hour. There were 5 employees present but only one willing to work with customers. Also I was promised an SUV when I was finally helped they werent sure what was available for my rental. They said probably a sedan..... horrible customer service, I watched a poor couple get a jeep that they did not want because all other rental places were about to close and they waited for an extreme amount of time. It was almost sad to see this situation unfold. I would not recommend.

Be careful to check your rental agreement before leaving Hertz. I spent 45 minutes on hold waiting for a response and it wasnt until I got to the actual store that I got any straight answers. Customer service could be improved.

Excellent place to rent a vehicle for any occasion I used enterprise for many years and then my insurance company turned me on to Hertz after an accident between me and a deer and ever since then its the only rental place I will go great staff excellent vehicles to choose from and they go above and beyond to make sure your happy two thumbs up for me

Ford Motor Company paid for me a rental vehicle here because our vehicle was waiting on a safety recall part. Better watch out here, they charged myself and Ford Motor Company for the rental charges. Took over a week to get my money back from them.

Friendly staff, upgraded us when our reserved rental was not available. With AAA discount, far cheaper than Enterprise and car was immaculate. Great value. Updated: needed a car to get back and forth to work while mine is being repaired. Service beyond measure with a GENEROUS car in the shop discount. Does Enterprise even offer this? Not sure. Very happy with Hertz and I have told my mechanic about the in the shop discount and to send clients needing a rental there instead of Enterprise. I received a Nissan Versa which was a dream to drive back and forth to work (and GREAT GAS MILEAGE) and just a pleasant experience all around as I was worried about getting to work with no car. (My sister joked I could have rented one of the $25 per day pickups from hertz instead. 😂😂😂😂 Hey, its an option!) The staff on this visit were warm and friendly as always and patient as I was getting my payment method straightened out. There is a security hold of some funds placed on your card, be aware, but it is lifted in a few short days. I will choose to use them next time my Cadillac wants to give me grief. Thank you, I wish I could give yall more stars!

The Hertz on Patterson Avenue is absolutely great the staff was very friendly and informative they made me feel very comfortable and put me in a very nice vehicle 2018 Kia. Had our vehicle reserved 2 months in advance. Wasted an hour trying to get my card to work because it had been declined. With my phone on speaker, the bank told Hertz no one had ran my card and i had plenty of money to cover it. Went to Enterprise and was driving away in under 2 minutes. Miraculously, my card worked. Another guy was having the same issue. Ill never, ever do business with Hertz again.

Car and rental where fine, it was after would that Hertz showed true colors. When rented I agreed on amount and also amount that would be held on my account. Returned car on time with plenty gas,on Saturday. then on Monday I noticed a charge on Sunday then a charge on Monday, for something I did not authorize. End up hold almost 500.00 for a two day rental on my account, my account went below the amount needed to pay my bills. I was not told of any additional charges nor authorized any. Call Customer service and they say that due to computer process [which apparently there computers dont work weekends] it charged my account double what I authorized [computers dont work on weekend, but accountants do cause they charged my account on Sunday]. i would not recommend Hertz unless you just have a lot of money you dont need.

So I had a reservation with Hertz off peters creek parkway in Winston Salem, NC, but when I called to be picked up from the auto-body shop they rented out all of there vehicles. The purpose of a reservation is to place on hold. Smh. Then when the rep answer he doesnt apologize or offer any solutions. Ill never do business here.

After our car was hit, the insurance company of the driver at fault used Hertz rental car . Im assuming they use Hertz since they are most likely the lowest bidder to State Farm insurance company. Hertz provided us with a fairly new car with 31,000 miles on it that is the most basic model available from Nissan . The interior of the car has food in the crevices of the dash and shifter, white specks of Ash from a smoker Im assuming but from the smell of the interior possibly a illegal drug substance. The interior was sticky and disgusting . I had a Hertz employee sit in the car he said Im sorry its not up to your standards of cleanliness . I was like you consider this Clean, he didnt respond . While I was complaining another gentleman said his rental car smelled like cat Urine. I wish I could give this place a Negative Star .

The worst experience ever! State Farm uses Hertz for car rentals after an accident. The car that was rented to me was a new jalopy! It was not clean and it smelled like old cigarettes and beer. When I put the car in reverse it sounded like the transmission was going to fall out, I asked the Hertz representative if there was another vehicle I could change to he told me all he had was 2 cargo vans and a pick-up truck even though I saw other vehicles. I returned the car 30 days before my would be ready because the rental was embarrassing to drive. I did not get a receipt when I returned the rental so I called back and Jalisa was rude. She put me on hold for more than 4 minutes and when I called from an unknown line she answered all of my questions and gave me the number to another shop without returning to my first call. After she answered all of my questions, I asked her why she had not returned to my first call and she said she had a customer in front of her. She was rude when I came and she was rude on the phone.

TERRIBLE experience! Our insurance recommended the use of Hertz for our first fender bender. This was our first use of Hertz and will be our LAST! We were not aware that our insurance covered us while driving a rental vehicle and the Hertz employee was! He stood there with a smile on his face and convinced us that we needed coverage while driving this car or we may be liable for all the repairs in the event of an accident! Trying to prevent further financial strain on our family we agreed and proceeded to pay $21 some odd dollars a day until return of the vehicle. Due to some unforeseen issues with our repair we had the rental for 2 weeks! We were charged OVER $300 for insurance we didnt even need! The representative knew all about it! He knew we didnt need it because our insurance would have covered us! When my insurance company called and asked why they had snowed us like that their reply was: We can sell what we want to anyone. They signed an agreement and we got the commission. Its their problem for not knowing what was going on. They are UNTRUSTWORTHY and they will TAKE anything they can from you! Ill never use them again!

So I called in yesterday to make a reservation to be picked up in Kernersville, So I can drop my car off to be fixed. My appointment was at 11:30 to be picked up. I show up at few minutes earlier just Incase, and to my surprise nobody is here and its already 11:50. So I called the store asking where is the driver.. she puts me on hold and says we have no record of this sorry about that and we will send a driver. Mind you they are in Winston and I am in Kernersville, so now I need to wait another 30 minutes or so until they get here. Fantastic. How hard is it to have someone picked up? And the customer service reps in store super rude, and no care of what happened. Poor service.
