I moved to Winston-Salem from Pennsylvania about a year ago, I went to the same woman for a haircut for about 15 years. Last June I thought I found her replacement, he was a good barber, last week, I found a great barber. Jay is a true professional, he will take the time to give you a great haircut and for me, a native Pennsylvanian, I was treated to some Winston-Salem history, some dining suggestions and points of interest. I will definitely be going back, I highly recommend Jay.

This is the best barber Ive found in Winston Salem. I searched Winston for a period of about 6-8 months in 2018-2019 going from barber shop to barber shop for multiple visits. I happily discovered Jay last year and have been a repeat customer ever since. He is hands down the most knowledgeable barber that Ive ever met, (I guess thats what you with a master barber though). I get a consistent haircut every single time with him, which was a huge factor for me. He does an excellent job despite the fact that I have extremely unruly hair, it never seems to even phase him. Great down to earth guy, I will continue to be his customer until he retires. I would recommend him to every single one of my friends without hesitation, and he also has a very high reputation here in Winston. Thanks for the excellent service Jay!

This was by far the best experience Ive ever had getting my hair cut! I believe God has given everyone a gift and when you find someone that is truly operating in theirs they are unstoppable and the best at what they do, its obvious, Jay is operating in his gift! The professionalism is there, the quality in his work is there! Im picky about my hair, its my favorite feature and a bad haircut can be devastating. I had someone mess my hair up so bad it took 2 full months to grow back to a length where it could be somewhat salvaged. Jay was able to fix what someone else messed up and earned every penny in the process. I was worried about who to go to so I could get my bad haircut fixed.
