Faster to go here than to go to Krogers/Wal-Mart plus they have updated all their refrigerators and they have a pretty good selection of stuff

Very disorganized and hard to find ANYTHING there, and how dare you ask any employee to help you because its a lost cause. They really need new management and more employees. You cant get through the aisles due to big bins of products needing to be stocked. Now, I understand that sometimes it will be that way when they need to stock (which is all the time right now) but not EVERY time I go there, its a mess! If I didnt live so close to it, I would boycott that place for real...if it wasnt for convenience, I wouldnt step foot in it!

Seems theyre working hard to clean it up. Prices are fair. Good place to grab a few things and not have to walk miles in the department store.

This place has everything the Smart Homemaker needs to run yourHouse. Neccessaries like cleaning solution, toilet items, air freshening, and a giant supply of laundry detergents. Home Decor items, outfit your small children with a brand new set of clothing shoes included 15 dollars! Or less. A quick word about this locations staff, Hard working eat crew Ive seen in a long timqe. T hey are constantly moving providing well stocked neatly and categorically arranged. They are friendly well-informed of merchandise location and have never failed Courtesy. If I were looking for staff members to join my team I wouldnt hesitate to hire this stores present staff. As the name suggests, get your required General merchandise discounted well below big chain store prices.

Winchester has 4 so a little drowned out for such a small town. There is also one about 5 mins from town in Madison County as well.

They have items in the back for a couple of days and nothing on the shelves! All you have to do is go in the back and put your product on the shelves then people can actually buy them

Clean, well kept, had a good sale for my Great Granddaughters. POLITE Cashers did not have to wait in long line.

It wasnt busy at all. Very calm crowd and the gentleman stocking shelves over by the bread isle was very well mannered. But doesnt speak when making eye contact with guest. Thats a HUGE factor in todays society. You want EVERY CUSTOMER to feel welcomed as well as safe. The cashier was NOT friendly at all. I am a bit disappointed about that. For being tha MOD Im so not impressed

I go to this Dollar General all of the time simply because of its convenience. Its walking distance from my house so if I ever run out of an ingredient while cooking or just want to grab a drink and some snacks its a great place. Do not get me wrong though, it has a lot more cons than pros though. First of all it is almost impossible to just get in and out when youre in a hurry. Sometimes I wish I would have just went to Kroger instead because it would take the same amount of time. 99% of the time there is a maximum of one associate running the register no matter how long the line gets. On top of that they do not have the greatest selection. I find myself having to completely change what Im making for dinner because they dont have what I need. The last thing Ill say about it is for this place being a dollar general, its not very cheap. Youll most definitely get better deals going to Kroger and using your VIP card.

Always out of the things i need most. Seems like they would learn and order more if they run out of the weeks supply in 2 days. But Nope....they have been doing it for 3 plus years. Honestly, I barely stop there anymore because of this. Its a waste of my time

I got the best french fries in town they got the best restaurants in town I got the best fish sandwiches into going today

Good place to get last minute things you forgot, like coffee or anything in general. Staff has been friendly to me all the time. Takes some scavenging sometimes, but usually has what Im looking for at a good price, just gotta poke around. My only problem is a weird rotten smell that radiates around the store sometimes, it tends to singe my nose hairs right off.

The only bad thing was where they had gotten a truck you could barely e down the isles.

Shelves are usually lacking what you are looking for, but they are one of five DGs in Winchester. Parking lot is a mess. Staff seem cool though.

I love this dollar store. Would like to see someone at the register instead of stocking. But thats not the employees fault its corporate. The employees are amazing i love them. I drive all the way across town to go to this store

Employees have been friendly but the back isles of the store are very messy every time I visit. Bought some sweetened condensed milk a few days ago and opened it up today to find it curdled...6 months past the best by date...yum.

One of the biggest Dollar General stores Ive been in with a lot to choose from. The reason for 3 stars is the shelves are half empty the majority of the times Ive been in there.

This store has a hard time keeping things stocked. So if looking for something in particular go to a different location.

The one on Ivine Rd is awful. Cashier are rude, boxes all over the floor, food expired. The store itself is nasty. Employs stand around doing nothing, smoking close to the door. Very long lines.

The aisles are very messy, the store is dirty, there are spoiled foods in the fridge, lines are usually long and slow moving. If it was not close to home I would not put myself through it. I Do NOT recommend this location.

Dollar store is the place to go the quality of most of there stuff is just as good as the other department stores. But you have to know prices at the other stores because sometimes things will be just as cheap somewhere else or cheaper.!!!!
