I really enjoy this Planet Fitness. They have welcomed me with open arms. The staff are always so friendly. Ashlee is the best! She is epitome of a amazing. She understands what it takes to retain customers and gain customers. Her happy disposition is warm and welcoming. Her attention to detail for the equipment, keeping the gym environment clean, helping others etc is a rare commodity and I appreciate that.The classes are great and I adore Andre!!!You guys are the best. Thank you for making a shy girl come out of her shell in a new place.

Very good service and very clean everything & the staff are very friendly! The only thing that is needed more machines to be able to do exercises that are not in the place 😓 since it is not a very big place and I imagine that is why they do not have all the equipment of exercise machines I would like that there could be more machines.

Extremely friendly staff. They definitely do not judge anybody that walks through their doors. They take sanitation and cleanliness seriously from what I can tell. The people they have that do the training classes are some of the best trainers I have seen, they are nothing but positive and supportive... they will literally cheer you on. Showers stay nice and hot 90% of the time Id say.This is one heck of a place to work out at.

2nd time at this location..probably one of the Best planet fitness I visit..I work over the road delivered in 48 state. This is where I go to get a good workout in when i in the area..staff are very friendly..one thing I admire the most and I wanted to address cause a small act of kindness can change peoples live..and I a strong believer. I wanted to make sure Abigail gets credit for her awesome customer service..she didnt have to do what she did but she did it anyways. So I wanted to thank you Abigail for the protein. They ran out of protein at the location, she didnt stop there, she let me have one of hers and I a type a guy who love my post meal right after!! Again thank you..Guys I use to work at a gym as a customer service and a sale rep for years. I very familiar with the environment. And no matter what? we have to be at our best for our customers every step of the way, cause you never know nor understand the battle each people going through each day..especially with everything going on around us there are still good people in this world. We need more people like Abigail. Hope I got her name right.but she needs a raise. Definitely will visit this place again in the future 👌 its all Love fam

While I understand the that we have all had to adjust to COVID restrictions, the owner of this gym bases his policies on the mandates of Maryland and not Virginia. No one should have to work out while wearing a mask if they choose to not to wear one knowing the risks involved. Those who want to wear one should, of course, do so. I have waited a year now with my account on freeze for them to loosen their private requirements of exercising with a mask in place. When asked if they think this will change with Hogans new loosening of restrictions, they replied that they do not. Again, none of this is based on our numbers here in Winchester, which are low, and the fact that there is no mandate to wear a mask in Virginia in the first place. What a lack of imagination and creativity on the part of the owner. You can have different rules that align with each state. You have socially distanced the machines and we all wipe them down when we get off of them. The private mask mandate is not necessary. In the meantime, I was just hit with a $39 fee because I kept my membership on freeze hoping that they would change their policy. How stupid of me. Here is my warning to you all. You are still charged the yearly fee even if you freeze your account and they DO NOT pro-rate it. My opinion...explore other gyms and work out in comfort.

Its inexpensive. The staff greats on entering and exiting every time. A great place to start but.... if two options present themselves, go with the better of the two and become the higher thinking person.

Its ok. Free weights only go to 60 and there are only two adjustable benches in the free weight section. There is no rack for the cable machine handles so it takes some hunting to find them. Most of the benches have cracked and worn vinyl. Not the end of the world just unsightly. Also bring a lock, they dont have the combo lockers like at other PF locations.

This planet fitness is great, and I highly recommend it to anyone. It is extremely clean, has anything you need to get a complete workout for any part of the body, cardio, free weights, dumbbells, machines, smith machine, clean locker room with showers, tanning beds, massage chairs, etc. The staff is always polite and accommodating. It can at sometimes be a little packed but that goes to show how great of a place it is, and for the price it cant be beat. And if you cant deal with the crowds it is open 24 hours and can definitely find a time where it suits you and your needs. As long as planet fitness is here, Ill continue to go. Highly recommend

Very clean with a decent selection of weights and tons of cardio equipment. Very nice staff and the most accessible and certainly affordable fitness option in the city.

With the pandemic in place, I feel that planet fitness is doing a awesome job. I noticed that not only is Planet Fitness Staff is doing an awesome job the entire Planet Fitness family is doing their part as well keeping equipment clean. Just remember it might be a pain in the you know what but please wear your mask people.

Employees seem nice and the facility is clean. But, the gym is pretty sad for weight training even by Planet Fitness standards. Three smith machines for the whole gym and a grand total of twelve 45lb plates to split between the three machines. Dumbbells only go up to 60lbs and there are only three benches in the whole free weight area. Not even a true leg press machine in the place. As long as you only want to do cardio, the gym is ok. But, its by far the worst Planet Fitness Ive seen if you actually want to do some sort of strength training.

The staff was very kind as I was trying to buy a surprise birthday present for my son. They were very helpful. The place is beautiful, it’s very clean, the music is a reasonable volume and there’s plenty of equipment.

Have to give your bank account information to sign up. Can sign up online, but not cancel online. If you don’t cancel 7 days ahead of bill date, they will fraudulently charge you for another month.

Great gym and low rates! I do mostly home workouts, but when I want to lift heavy weights or workout with my husband, we go to Planet Fitness. The staff is super friendly. If you are running in for a quick workout or planning a long session, this is the place to do it! If you upgrade your membership you can bring a free guest each visit plus have access to tanning and a spa massage chair... totally worth the upgrade!

When I started my workout I was 53, 110 pounds. Did back and biceps and now Im 62 and 210. Just signed my first NFL and modeling contract on the way out of the gym.

Planet Fitness is only about 2 miles from home. Its very economical. Its very clean. There is just about every machine and aid available to keep you in shape or help you reach your goal. No one criticizes. Employees are friendly and willing to help if needed. Im really happy to have PF to go to.

The website policy says as of today 09/28/2020 that you can take your mask off while actively working out. Ive been going in this gym for 3 months and now all of the sudden mask is required....smh come on planet fitness make up your mind. If youre afraid of the virus, dont open this gym or atleast clean the restroom more.

90% of the employees look like they never lifted a weight in their entire lifeGym lacks equipment. Several benches are ripping apart Floors have dirt on them. Employees don’t clean machines One of their employee harasses almost each member that enters about their membership and walks around policing their customers about policy

I’ve been going to this gym for over a year now and absolutely love it! The front desk staff are so sweet and at this point, remember my name as I walk in. We used to go to the sportsplex in Winchester when it was a part of body renew and were so sad when it closed down because I had finally found a gym that was calm enough and small enough for my enjoyment. so finding planet fitness in Winchester has been a lifesaver! I go at the 3 o’clock time and it’s never too crowded. Everyone minds their own business and does their own thing. It’s great!

Greta Gym! Greta staff and very clean

I enjoy going to Planet Fitness. The pricing and equipment are the best features. However the Winchester club continues to get dirtier and dirtier. Plus a lot of the vinyl pads on the weight equipment is cracked with holes and missing material. These would be easy fixes but management does not seem interested in completing them.

Nice staff, clean locker rooms and gym. This gym is cleaner than some hospitals so no worries.

Only downside is the size. Lots of different equipment but I’d rather see the new row machines like in VB and more benches for weights than treadmills, but to each their own! I’m usually here at night during the week, staff is typically friendly, place is usually pretty clean. Definitely love the shower and changing stall setup. Haven’t been to any of the classes yet but I’m sure they’re great since they’re always booked!

Come as You are. Do your thing without scrutiny. Very inexpensive. Whether youre a thirty-year-old hulk getting ripped or an 80 year old person trying to bring your blood pressure down, its fine for all.

Really enjoy going to Planet Fitness. They only have 1 bike that I like and have been pretty lucky being able to get on it when I get there. Not as busy as I thought so I can jump from machine to machine without having a long wait.

There’s something for everyone at this gym. Very diverse. Not only that but there is an impeccable staff. They are all very kind, honest and helpful. They are always going above and beyond to make the place feel “judgement free”.

I absolutely love this gym Ive been a member since they have opened up in Winchester! This gym is always clean the staff is amazing the owner is amazing the managers are amazing and Elizabeth the trainer is amazing! I would highly recommend this gym to anyone this gym also feels like a family we all push each other to strive for our personal goals! While I have a membership here, its not my favorite gym. There are often dust bunnies under the equipment, along the walls and in the corners. A little more attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness would go a long way!

Great gym for me! Im a avid weightlifter but I hate the bodybuilder atmospheres where everybody is grunting and yelling and Im actually a bodybuilder but at this gym I dont have to worry about guys posing every 5 minutes. You can workout around regular people and even have a conversation or 2 in the process. Definitely recommend!

Excellent gym with a large amount of cardio equipment. The place is very clean and it is open 24 hours! There is plenty of free parking and the location is easy to find and it is centrally located. I pay $10 a month and it is well worth the price. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for a place with all the basics. If you are looking for a gym with extras such as a pool or spa then this would not be for you since they do not offer those extras.

I had a membership here for a year. Moved out of town and had to cancel, but have to say they have nice facilities and they keep everything spotless. If there were a few more free weights, Id give it 5 stars, but I think most of the patrons prefer the machines and cardio. Anyways, its a good facility with a very helpful staff and the value is hard to beat.

I love PF Winchester! Not only because its clean w/ lots of great equipment and exercise options, but for me the bonus is the STAFF. Marissa, Jordan, Kevin, Noelle, Steph...they genuinely care! Ive gotten cheerful greetings, pep talks, suggestions and more! I may not know all their names but I know their smiles! Looking forward to seeing them gives me an extra push to show up!

In terms of a Planet Fitness, its standard. Its clean and maintained. It gets 3 stars because my first day (night) there to work out ended up with my Fit bit being stolen out of my locker. That basically killed it for me... Good luck to you though.

Decent location...no free weight leg sleds, and the tanning equipment need updated. Level Two booths and level three lay down beds. Not enough mirrors in locker rooms, none are full length, large lockers though, and the showers are great. Also very clean clean and properly maintained. Good truck parking as well.

Was looking for a new gym to join, I’ve been going on and off as a guest at Planet Fitness but I finally decided to make the switch! Excellent customer service and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend Planet Fitness in Winchester!

I am a fairly new member and although I find it worth the money Im really upset at this cash ONLY system. I wanted to purchase tanning lotion and I was paying cash. They wouldnt take it and I couldnt get my lotion cause I didnt have enough today to cove the cost in my bank account. Thats ridiculous so you lost that purchase. Ill get my lotion at a tanning place instead where they take cash. Since when is cash no longer good enough to purchase an item? I was so irritated and very unhappy with the service. The girl was like we are now actually cashless. When I said I dont have enough in my account I wanted to use cash she just looked at me so I was like then forget it. Shes like ok.

Very clean place with a great staff. They could use a little more equipment and a place to change clothes after taking a shower. I would recommend this place regardless of the little things.

I had to cancel my account last year due to health issues which they were far from understanding. They didnt handle the cancellation properly and caused a nightmare with my account, which I paid for in the end. I then reactivated my membership and had to go in two separate times to have it corrected because it was not set up correctly. Due to the inconvenience a manager offered to waive my yearly fee which was a nice gesture. I then was charged the fee and when I called requesting information I was told that I am more than welcome to cancel my account. I didnt ask to have the fee waived but I was not expecting the charge and was not told otherwise, which in the past I have been sent email reminders. Then the rude comment suggesting I cancel my account was great customer service. One gentleman in management stands around talking about people in a judgment free zone gym. He is degrading and embarrassing when approaching with anything. I left the gym so furious one day and then called back to address this with him. He did apologize and then when I came back in he made a slide remark to another employee that I was the crazy one that called him. Ask yourself this... Do they not think people hear them? Would this make you conformable to attend? I know mistakes happen in creating accounts everyone is human but the level of customer service and respect is by far the worst. I do not recommend this gym to anyone. Its inexpensive yes, and you get what you pay for. When looking for a new gym at the 1st of the year please take this into consideration before you end up with the same issues that I have had.

For the last two years I have been trying to cancel my subscription and they are still charging me every month. Everybody keeps wanting to pawn me off to everybody else instead of just simply dealing with my situation and properly cancel my account. I do not recommend this place for anyone to go to. It seems impossible for anyone to do any cancellations. Even corporate pawned it off and said they were unable to cancel my account because they are franchised out and that individual franchise has to be the one to cancel my account. If I could give this franchise a zero star I would. Prove me wrong and I’ll gladly rebuttal this post.

This gym is out for the money. I specifically picked them because I only needed a membership for about 2 months. I went in there and asked repeatedly if I could cancel at any time. For the $10 a month I could. I brought my boyfriend in for a workout and upgraded to the bring a friend still under the assumption I could cancel at anytime. I went in to cancel today since we now have our own gym equipment, and was told there would be an early cancelation fee. Since I upgraded I was no long in the free cancelation. Not once did someone tell me this when I asked to upgrade. Daniel, the manager was not in and apparently no one else can do anything in the place but him. Not impressed nor recommending to anyone. When upgrading, you should have given more information.

I signed up to this gym last January and loved going there. I had to change gyms after about 6 months and have since came back to my home gym. A lot has changed for the worst, it is really dirty when I go after work and all of the employees just stand behind the counter not doing anything. There are huge fur/dust balls under all the equipment, the floor has dirt, hair, dust everywhere. I hate to get changed in the locker rooms before my workout, the floor is so gross I dont want my socks touching it. I really enjoy being a member, but this gym has gone down hill since the last time I had been there. I hope this brings a change or I will take pics and post them on social media and take my business elsewhere.

Friendly employees, clean gym not overly crowded. I feel very comfortable going there. You cant beat the price. 10.00 a month just to use the gym. You get freebies all the time so you dont have to have a black membership if you dont want. I am not a tanner but if you are the black membership is for you. With the black membership you get allot of extras like the massage chairs and discounts off of drinks etc. plus you can bring a friend with you when ever you want. This is a GREAT gym.

I like planet fitness. Im in frequently, most days just to get a quick workout. Ive been a member of PF for about 3/4 yrs. Went to another location in Maryland. The one in Winchester is ok. It gets really crowded and they dont seem to care about their members much.

I just upgraded to black card membership. Totally worth it. Im enjoying the classes. All the equipment is in great condition. Gym etiquette is taught and enforced.

Staff competence and friendliness is spotty at best. Low membership price brings the problem of overcrowding. People like camping on equipment while watching videos on their phones. Bad language and rudeness can be an issue.

The cleanliness is hit or miss in my opinion. I often clean dust bunnies from the areas I use just because I cant stand dust. Overall I like the setup, the staff and the convenience of the location.

Decent gym, I travel a lot for work and I can always find a PF. I understand the philosophy of no gyn-timidation but there are numerous occasions men and women are wearing form fitting/skin showing outfits. Also I wish they had more weight lifting machines instead of duplicating each equipment. If you just need a no frills cardio/simple weight workout this place is it!

I come from NY to visit my family here in Winchester and I spend great time working out at this gym cause itsClean, alot machines available, friendly atmosphere, and bathrooms and lockers are very clean, the stuff in here are very kind and make you feel like home✌

They offer excellent facilities that always accommodate the busy hours and high volume. Working out late at night is peaceful and appreciated as well.

Maybe Im spoiled because my planet fitness back home is brand new, but this location is awful. I wasnt even sure they were open because its so dark. They only have 2 stair climber machines, which are outdated. They have a synergy little stand thing instead of a whole room. Their stand up tanning beds were in almost porterpotty type closet things. I will say their locker rooms were clean and the staff was nice. Definitely needs an update. Nearly made me want to cancel my membership. I will just drive the extra 10 miles tons different location.

This gym is not worth your time or energy, my boyfriend has a membership and wanted to take me one day and they said NO... if he wanted to bring a guest he would have to pay $20/month instead of $10. Does this make any sense if he was good no to pay $20/month I would just get my own membership instead. I dont want Joni its worth me paying $2. For this gym it doesnt have many options. Looks clean because its a new gym. Thats all... funny how its a gym and they offer candy at the front desk. Its like the bad cereal that a toy so you can buy it. Lol..... I dont recommend going to this gym . They say you cN go to ant planet fitness which is a Bold Face Lie....
