Craig has helped me on several dofferent repairs now. Each time I was confident that he was honest in his assessment of the problem and his price was reasonable compared to other places. I now will bring my cars here for any issue. Craig also gave me some advice and assessment on an old truck I recently purchased. Hes been in business for a long time and its obvious why.

I was recommended to craigs to see if they would fix the AC and was told he couldnt fix that was fine I was going to ask if he could recommend someone else before I could ask i was rudely hung up on in middle of the conversation. He maybe a good mechanic but I will never take a vehicle to him after him being so rude

My sister was given a price of a service, $50, and then charged $83. Didn’t receive any notification when the vehicle was ready, so had to call right before they closed and they assured us the vehicle would be able to be picked up even after close. When we arrived they had locked the keys in the car and we had to wait in the dark for over an hour for a locksmith making my sister late to her job and I missed the entirety of a work event I was supposed to attend waiting with her.She called to work out the issue with them the following morning and they offered no compensation simply that they would talk to the guy that locked the keys in the car. She had to push to get them to even cover the cost of the locksmith and they offered a credit instead of actual payment, but finally agreed to pay her for the locksmith. No apology of no notice, making her wait, late to work, the overcharge of agreed upon service, or locking the keys into the car.Disappointing and unprofessional service.

I was having issues with my A/C but didn’t know what was wrong so Craig came and looked everything over and told me exactly what was wrong and how long it would take to fix! I got to sit in the comfort of my car while they fixed the two A/C belts! The amount I paid was a lot lower than what I thought and the kindness they showed me was way more than I expected definitely will bring my Subaru outback here any time I have issues! Thanks again!

My wife and I were on vacation, hauling a 24ft travel trailer when my 2006 GMC blew a power steering line. We were 200 miles from home. We called Craigs Auto and they said they would look at it, so we limped the truck and 2 hours later they had it fixed. They were wonderful! Very reasonably priced. Tried Craig after a few disasters with other mechanics. Craig diagnoses before he starts working. Lots of mechanics change items unnecessarily until they get to the real problem. Always prompt and pleasant.

I found Craig and his staff to be top notch. They spent several hours trying to diagnose a difficult problem and in the end only charged me an hour labor. After spending all of this time he was honest in explaining he did not have the specialty tools required to further diagnose and determine the issue. I will use Craigs again.

For one, Craigs does good work. More than that, though, theyre honest. A few years ago, I had some work done on a car. They gave me a total, I paid it. I know nothing of cars or mechanics so I certainly wasnt going to argue. A few days later, they called me to tell me theyd made a mistake and over charged me by almost $200. I was impressed they didnt notice and walk away with my money. Perhaps thats a low bar...but I have low standards.

Even as a woman I felt very comfortable dropping my car off. The lady at the front desk even called back a week later to,make sure I was happy with my repairs!!!

Good guy nice shop fair prices

I had my car towed here as it was recommended to me by some coworkers. They figured out that fuel wasnt getting to the engine & that a relay had melted. They replaced the relay & recommended I replace the fuel pump. I asked them to quote the job. I had spoken to the guy who orders the parts & he told me he orders from NAPA or Advanced Auto Parts & that they typically use the OE parts. I looked up the OE parts on both NAPA & Advanced to find out they were trying to charge me 60% above retail for the parts!!! I confronted them & the guy at the desk said he couldnt negotiate but talk to the owner in the morning.The next day I called the owner & said that I understand they need to make a profit and i dont mind to pay retail or even 10-15% above retail but could he work with me because 60% above retail is unreasonable & I didnt want to have to have my car taken elsewhere. He LIED to me saying he got the parts from the dealership & that he couldnt lower the price or hed lose money. I confronted him on the lie saying that his employee told me he ordered the part from NAPA already & that the NAPA list price is significantly less than what he is quoting me. This Man doubled down on his blatant lie & insisted the parts were from the dealership.!!!!I went & picked up my car & started getting quotes! found out about a manufacturer service notice issued for my problem. Ended up taking my car elsewhere & turns out my fuel pump wasnt bad after all!!! so they tried to over charge me for something that wouldnt even have fixed my problem! I do not recommend going here! If you do go I suggest you bring your own parts.

My older truck was making a noise in the clutch so I took it in to Craigs. The mechanic called and said he drove it and thought it was the throw out bearing. He said he could replace just that but if I got a whole clutch it would only be the price of the part with the same labor charge. I said go ahead, it was only $60 more.When I went to pick it up the guy at the counter said when they started taking it apart they realized it was the carrier bearing and not the clutch. My bill for repairs was less than half of what I was expecting.It is great knowing we have a good honest mechanics shop here in Winchester!

RUN!!! RUN!!!! Find another mechanic. This place marks up there parts by 60% and then double the time allotted by the service manual to repair your vehicle. Had my alternator replaced and instead of the part costing $170 they charged me $270, when they were questioned they said it was because it was a new part not a Re-manufactured one... LIE #1. The part number on the part is a re-manufactured part number not a new part. Then they charged me 1 hour of labor when the service manual states that this repair should only take an 1/2 hour. LIE#2. This place is horrible and I will tell all my friends and family to avoid this place like the Ebola virus......
