I will only bring my Forester here for service! I have never had a bad experience with this location or it’s Service Team. They have always been able to schedule appointments very timely, usually same day. The service is performed quickly, professionally, and correctly. I recently moved, but I’d rather drive an hour for this remarkable team than take my chances elsewhere.
Always receive great service at Subaru of Winchester. The staff and technicians are very courteous and friendly, and they answer all your questions. Repairs/maintenance are always well done never had to return for the same issue. Cost is very reasonable.
Awesome location, my wife takes her Subaru here all the time and its always worth it. Let me explain; the reps are always friendly and understanding, especially when I become demanding, they never over-sell or pitch products & services not needed. They do the work and they do it well, without charging obnoxious fees, their service techs are highly experienced and allow me in the bay to show me details of issues that need resolving. Their techs are really good, so good we like to tip them with food or money.My wife has been taking her Subaru to this location since 2017, meanwhile the company vehicle, which is a jeep has traveled throughout Northern Virginia to all available Jeep dealerships & other auto shops and has consistently left empty-handed and disappointed.So, after the Jeep dealership in Front Royal Virginia almost caught the company vehicle on fire, Lindsay Jeep in Manassas forgot we had scheduled a service appointment & left me sitting there for two hours without touching the vehicle, Auto Care Clinic in Front Royal always completed 95% of the job, Fair Oaks Jeep in Chantilly over-charged prices and somehow forgot our vehicle appt existed, Caseys Auto in Chantilly forgot we had an appointment and had to order the oil and filter when we showed up, Craftsman Auto Care spent more time than any human trying to upsell me on bogus repairs about our vehicle, and I may or may not still be banned from Chantilly Virginia Tire & Auto for accusing its owner of snorting blow on a luxury boat rather than caring for their customers...Our company takes our Jeep to the Subaru Dealership of Winchester! Im not joking, its really worth it, I was surprised they agreed to work on the vehicle. They even allowed me to shop for my own parts if I wanted. Keeping our company vehicle healthy is a top priority, as our business relies on this extremely important piece of machinery.Fat Cat Vending is their new customer.(ミⓛᆽⓛミ)
Quick and easy. Sales rep was easy going and not pushy. Very polite and quick about the extra stuff. Would have gotten 5 stars if they were a little flexible on price and gave us a full tank of gas. I would look to buy there again.
We were recommended by two separate people to check out Subaru of Winchester for a great car and a great deal. They did not disappoint!The website was very informative and accurate about the cars, unlike other companies listings we saw. Even though I was referred to Betty, Glenn was kind and helpful to schedule an appointment since Betty was off work the day I called. I told Glenn we live 50 miles away so he actually put me on hold to check that the car we wanted to look at was in fact in their parking lot. When we arrived, Betty was quick to welcome us and pull the car around. The vehicle was in great condition, inside and out. Our test drive was successful and Betty had us finished up in a few hours with a fantastic price. It turns out shes capable of selling, tagging, and processing everything herself - a Jane of all trades.Its been two weeks and friends and family still comment on how great and nearly new the car looks! I highly recommend Betty and the Subaru of Winchester team. Betty was patient and helpful the whole way for my boyfriends first time car buying experience.
I first dealt with Duncan through emails. When my car came I finally met Duncan. He was as nice in person as he was on the phone and emails. I couldnt be happier with my experience. He was very helpful and explaining everything. He went over the car and made sure I knew everything about it before I left. I would recommend the dealership for your next vehicle!
The service was excellent - very fast and Brad communicated very well. What Im not happy about is the price charged for a Denso A/C compressor ($900+) though. That is double the price of the same part at parts stores and, considering the first one went out after only 8 years, its not worth 1/4 of that price. In comparison, the compressor on my Toyota is still going strong after 20 years and 250,000 miles. If it lasted 20+ years, I would happily pay $900 for it. I understand dealers charge more for parts (though not sure why since they are not actually made by Subaru), but 20%-25% might be a reasonable up-charge. Charging about double for parts is a sure way to keep me out of your service dept. But again, great service by the dealership - thank you to Brad and team.As a follow up, I found that I could have gotten a 15% discount as a Costco member, I went back and they honored the discount by giving me a refund for the discounted amount. Thank you - you made it right! I hate to ding any dealership on over-charging for parts, but it is a poor, antiquated practice (controlled by the manufacturer) that has gone on too long and it needs to change. If you dont have control over that, please inform your customers of discounts available or other options to get their repair bills lower - that would avoid having to go back and deal with refunds once they find out how much they should have paid. Remember, people dont come for car service because they want to - they do it because they have to. Make it easy on them and they will be loyal customers.
I had a big problem with my Subaru and the only place I could trust and wanted to go to was CMA subaru of Winchester. And that was the best choice I ever made! Thank you to Shawn S. Who helped me throughout this whole process and always kept me updated on how things were going with my car! I 1000/10 recommend this place to anyone who owns a Subaru! I was planning on bringing in my Subaru and my wifes Subaru for an express oil change. I wasnt sure if there was a separate entrance for the express service or whether it was the same service entrance for all. I decided to use the chat line to find out. I typed out my question and when an agent responded a minute or so later, she asked, What can I do to help? Fine, so I re-typed my question and waited for a response, which in my mind should have been Yes, there is a separate entrance or No, there is just one entrance for all service. After a little bit of a wait, I was told to go to the front desk with my internet appointment and they would direct me. She also wanted to know the make, model, and year of my car, just to make it easier I guess. I responded by telling her that the website indicated no appointment was necessary for express oil change.I waited and waited some more. Then I finally just said thank you, stating that I didnt know my questions were so hard and closed the chat. I got the impression that this chat line lady maybe needed more training! I was at the dealer for recall service less than 6 months ago and everything went well with that and though I dont go to the dealer often, I dont recall any bad experiences. I dont plan on using their chat feature any more!Addendum: I decided to bring my car and my wifes car in for service the next day, to get an express oil change and tire rotation. All that was handled well. Then we left the dealership and drove to the local Walmart, just a few miles away. My wife told me that there was a warning light showing--it was the low pressure tire warning. I quickly checked the tires and noted that they all seemed to be overinflated. Not having dealt with this warning light before, I called the Subaru service advisor who told me to bring the car back, which I did. He had the car checked right away and the tires were definitely extremely overinflated. He informed me that the switch (?) on the tire inflator had been set wrong (to metric?), so the mechanic inadvertently overinflated the tires. The problem was resolved and the service advisor took the car for a road test to make sure the warning light was not coming on. When I got home, I decided to check the tires on my car as well and found that my right front tire was overinflated--the other tires, including the spare, were OK. I lowered the pressure on the right front, noting that in the case of my car, no warning light had come on. My wife and I were thankful that we hadnt gone for an extended drive on the nearby interstate because, in my opinion, that could have caused a tire blow out which would have had serious consequences to say the least. This incident wont necessarily stop me from continuing to come to the dealer for service. This review isnt meant to criticize the dealer, its just to inform others on my experience.

The work was done professionally and on time. They washed my car after the service and it never looked better! Had ordered touch up paint kit the previous afternoon. The order was fulfilled quickly and completely. Highly recommend them for parts, cars and service.

I rarely leave a 5 star rating; in this case however it is earned. Easy recall, funny because the a/c was not working and I was going to get an appointment anyway. Quick turnaround, even got a rinse on the car as well. Worth the trip and Im going to let them do my next oil change and plugs instead of my local shop.

My family is a big fan of Subaru. However, this Subaru has super customer service! I bought my first Subaru from Subaru of Winchester in April 2020, and Duncan helped me out. He was incredibly informative and supportive throughout the entire process. He went out of his way to ensure that I was treated with care by the entire staff.I have been back since then for every oil change, tire rotation, and tire check. I love the express service that allows you to walk up without having to make an appointmnet. I am always confident with the work done on my vehicle. I highly recommend this location!
They did a great job keeping me notified of the timeline for my car. They appeared to attempt to accommodate my timeline needs (they asked multiple times, but I had a very flexible schedule, so I told them not to stress about me). They gave me a great complimentary car to use while mine was being repaired (another reason I wasnt in a rush).
Took my car in for required inspection. In my opinion, this is not a big money-maker for the dealership. I needed to do this as I had moved here from another state. Plus, I had asked to have additional work done.Left it in the lot because I arrived after the dealership closed, but theres a dropbox where you can leave the keys, so I did. They called me the next day to tell me my car was ready for pickup.They had done everything I asked for, and they even washed and vacuumed the car for me. The prices were totally fair. So far, this is an excellent car dealership to work with.
Everyone was really nice. They were quick with the services that I needed. Said it would take about 2 hours but, I was in and out in a little over an hour. Pricing is fair as well. Will continue to use them. :)

I had service performed August 2, for oil change, multiple inspection and brake fluid flush. Work was done in a timely fashion. Amy was on top of the process the whole way. Im happy with the outcome.
I called early in the morning of 8 June to make an appointment. My safety system and eye sight was showing off. Also car was vibrating badly when idling. I had an appointment for a MRI at 10:30 that same morning. So I was late making my appointment for service. But the staff was so helpful and took me right away. So, I guess I had not replaced the gas cap correctly even though it had been 3 weeks since I filled up. Also, during the virus epidemic we did not drive very often and carbon bad built up. The problem with eye sight was corrected with the cap being properly placed and they took my car out for a spin and blew the carbon out. Was so kind to even wash my car. Loved the service and I will use this dealership for all my service that is required to keep my 2017 Forrester running smoothly.
I went in just looking and drove away with a new car that I absolutely love. Bart was of great help explaining the features of the vehicles when I was looking without coming across as overly pushy (which I hate most when it comes to car shopping). Great service start to finish!
Car alarm get going off ( window was open during a big downpour). Subaru Service was right next door to where I was when it all started. They encouraged me to leave car and keep an eye on it as the open door light and dome lights would not turn off- a definite way to drain the battery. The alarm went off a few times for them and as the day progressed ( car dried out) the alarm stopped and the problem ended. Just a temporary short and no further issues. No charge for monitoring!Thank you Brad!

Stopped in Saturday afternoon on my way out of town for a trip. Car was not acting normally. Signed in, diagnosed and repaired (fuse issues) within an hour. Service person was friendly and professional with a comfortable waiting room.

Always a great experience! Purchased my Forester in the fall of 2020---the AC recently kicked the bucket for the second time. Tommy had me hooked up with a loaner ASAP---my car was fixed the next day and classified as a goodwill repair. Couldnt be happier. These guys know how to treat people well.

Took our two vehicles in for state inspections. We usually use a drive in type place and sit and wait for usually a few hours. CMA Subaru was a breath of fresh air as they performed service in about 20 minutes.
The Service Department has the best people. Not sure where Subaru finds them but they are incredible. Sincerely very caring and go they go out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel like you are their special customer. Amy gets and A+ and so does Chuck. But the entire service department is so incredibly nice and professional.

A bit lengthy - but I felt it was important to give positive feedback in a time when negative feedback seems to be the popular response.After the last few experiences at the dealership where I purchased my 2018 Crosstrek being less than stellar, I decided to give CMA Subaru in Winchester a try for service. The vehicle was due for an oil change as well as two recalls that needed to be performed. I called to set the appointment, and the service advisor I spoke to was very helpful. I had the opportunity to drop off my vehicle for service earlier in the day than I had originally anticipated and scheduled (service was to be performed the next day). When I arrived, there were no loaners available, which was not a problem since I was earlier than expected. Sean took my name & number and offered to call if a loaner was returned earlier. The timing was perfect when he called, and I was able to pick up a loaner that same morning. He also told me there was a possibility my vehicle would be finished by the end of the day, which would have been an extra bonus, but not necessary. I received a call later in the afternoon updating me that it still may be finished, but most likely ready first thing the next morning. I received a third phone call confirming the pick up for the following morning. For me, this was going above and beyond - getting the vehicle started earlier and keeping me up -to-date is what excellent customer service is. The icing on the cake was the car wash - including my tires!Thank you for your attention to detail. Youve earned a new customer.
The buying process was rather smooth thanks to Gary Yerkie (sales) and Tyler Warne (financing). I never felt pressured to purchase from them which made the buying of a new vehicle less stressful. I’ve been treated extremely poorly in the past at other dealerships so not being pressured was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this dealership for those looking at Subaru for their next vehicle. :)
What a treat from the first scheduling phone call to pick up. I’d had some emergency work on my Crosstreck (123K miles) while out of town due to running over a huge pothole and they took care not to repeat what had already been done. I needed special accommodations for pick-up and Brad facilitated my requests professionally with no fuss.They are great. I wouldn’t take my beloved Subie anywhere else.

I had a very good experience buying a new vehicle from CMA Subaru of Winchester. All staff from sales to finance were friendly, professional, explained options well, were honest when they didn’t know the answer to a question, & were quick to get my questions answered. Salespersons struck a good balance of doing their jobs as salespeople without overwhelming or pressuring me to buy accessories, warranties, etc. that I didn’t want. I especially appreciated my interactions with salesperson Glenn Patterson who walked me through the process from initial interest to car orientation to post-purchase follow-up.
Took my 2006 Tribeca for a recall which was done and also asked for a full check of the vehicle and there were some issues that were resolved. I requested a loaner and I ‘misplaced’ the key and they went above and beyond their service . They drove to a location (far) with a second key to save the day. Very happy with service and I would recommend them all the time.Thanks again
Subaru changed my oil, rotated my tires, and did the 15 point inspection complete with a free car wash. It took them an extra long time to do it that day and so they gave it to me for free and let me have my last oil change, etc. on my maintenance plan to use on another day. In the meantime, since my maintenance plan was ending, I went and bought another five years of a maintenance plan (which was a savings).

Subaru of Winchester really helped us out when we were shopping for a used Subaru from another dealer. We brought the car in to have it inspected, and the Service Department looked up the VIN and told us that they had already inspected it a few months earlier, and that it had failed inspection. We were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes and they didnt charge us. Very grateful for help the team at Subaru of Winchester gave us!

Went here for warranty work to replace an armrest that popped off. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They even fit me in when I was running late due to a doctors appointment taking longer than expected. They fixed the armrest in about 15 minutes and even quickly washed my car for me which it desperately needed since I hadnt gotten to it this week yet. Would definitely recommend them!

Brought my 2020 Forester in for oil change & tire rotation. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. There is even coffee and cold water for the patrons. Very nice.
In early at the express center for oil change and tire rotation, Chuck was quick and courteous to process and get work started. In and out in less than an hour. Chuck also explained items needing attention soon. Overall a very quick an unsurprising visit as all should be.
I could not feel taken care of any better. Subaru is currently working on a problem for me and Mandy Housely, the manager of the service department has kept me in the loop throughout the whole thing. She’a gone above and beyond. She’s the best! I’m glad to have found this service department.

Had several service items to get done today and just cant say enough good things about my experience at Subaru of Winchester. The interaction with the service writer was great. He was able to understand what my concerns were and address them correctly. The waiting area was very comfortable and set up in a way that allowed for social distancing. Subaru of Winchester went above and beyond to make sure I got my recall done. They accommodated me and my situation as they picked the car up and dropped me a loaner for the day. Mind you, I was an hour and a half away. I appreciated everything they done for me, and the employee who picked my car up, Robert, was truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. A+ service.
I really appreciate being able to bring my car in for servicing without an appt and still be able to get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone was very nice. But the service department was swamped. When I arrived, I asked how long an oil change would take and was told 30 to 40 minutes. Almost an hour and a half later the oil change was done. I just wish I would have been told a true time estimate as I had another appointment and would have come back another day.
Had routine maintenance done. Work was completed a little earlier than expected. Everyone was very pleasant and my experience was very good, which is typical for my times at the service department.

Subarus quick service lane is great. You pull in; a friendly service rep checks you in. They have a comfortable waiting area with complementary coffee. I used the wait time for a phone call. After that my car was ready. I had an oil change, tire rotation, and a headlight bulb change. The service rep even took time to explain to me how the unique gear mechanism in a subaru changes when I mentioned another issue. I even got a carwash as part of the package. The price was fair.
Had a fog light out & forgot 2 tell them. However, I figured since they do a multipoint inspection they would see it. Alas, I was wrong. I was told they would do it next time I came in & they wouldnt charge me labor. However,, I dont live around the corner so we shall see since it might be a while, & especially since I didnt see the guy document this anywhere! Also, why does it seem like you are such an inconvenience when you go there. First you have 2 wait until someone decides to acknowledge you, & then when they do its like you just ruined their entire day!
I enjoy having my car serviced at Subaru of Winchester. They are an extremely kind and helpful staff. When I buy my 6th Subaru, it will be there again!
Everything was wonderful at first, throughout the actual car buying process. Now two months later I’m already having issues… one of which is transmission. But here’s where the problem is… I was talked into getting the 4 year power train warranty with the vanishing deductible, stating if I brought the car there it would be no deductible vs taking it somewhere else and there being a $100 deductible. Now that I call with these issues they tell me they can’t work on my car because it’s a Nissan and they aren’t a Nissan dealership. Don’t you think that’s a key detail you should have told me when selling me this warranty!!!! So very disgusted and disappointed with this dealership!

Great warranty service to replace A/C condenser on my 2018 Subaru Forester under factory recall notice. Was in and out in about an hour. Very courteous and professional service.Visited service department again on July 27 to have the StarLink system upgraded from the soon to be deprecated 3G to 4G at no charge. Took about 90 minutes. Great facility and very courteous service.

I had an appointment to take care of a recall issue. I found the staff very easy to work with getting a good appointment time and checking me in once I got there.Very clean service area and waiting area. I will definitely be bringing my Subaru back to them for my normal maintenance.
I took my car (purchased elsewhere) to CMA Subaru’s service department for repairs on my air conditioner due to a recall and was treated like family. When I called I was registered quickly by Amy and offered an appointment as soon as the next day. When I took my car in, I was directed into their drive through valet style service bay. They made dropping the car off amazingly easy. Amy made sure that I arranged my own ride and didn’t need a loaner. The work was completed quickly and my car was ready right on time. Chuck Mason from the service department called me and explained the work they had done on my car. When I picked the car up, everything was completed just as explained, and the car was cleaner than when I had dropped it off! So far the air conditioner they repaired is working perfectly, and they even checked for other recalls while I was there. I will be taking my car back to CMA Subaru for any work that needs to be done, and would recommend their service department to anyone. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent service I received.
