Carpet Smart did a great job in meeting and exceeding our expectations, regarding the removal and disposal of existing floor products, and the Installation of Luxury Vinyl Planks and Carpeting within three bedrooms.Every aspect, from Project Cost, Acquisition of needed products, scheduling of the Installation, and removal and disposal of the removed products, was completed exactly as promised, and on-time and within the established budget for our project.Minor flaws were noted in a small portion of the Carpet, but were promptly repaired to our satisfaction. Therefore, we can confidently recommend Carpet Smart to our Neighbors a d Friends, who might need these types of Professional Services.

I checked at several other outlets and Carpet Smarts price was the most fair by far. Their bid was over $700 lower for flooring installed in my home. The installation team arrived on time, were professional, competent, cleaned up, and delivered an excellent installation. The sales and office staff are friendly, and kept me updated.

Was not to happy with the service or selection, sales person did not attempt to focus on my needs. Looking for a commercial nylon carpet only showed one me one sample. Maybe it was a bad day for them today...

We had Jon from carpet Smart come to our home to give us a free quote for vinyl plank flooring. He did an estimate of how much material would be needed and the labor to install it. When it was done, he had overestimated by 63sqft. He then took the amount overestimated and that labor off the bill. The work was done on time. The workers left my home as clean as it was before they got there. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing flooring

When the floor carpet smart put in for me 5 years ago was damaged by the hurricane, the owner of Carpet Smart bent over backwards to fix it, even though the floor latching system had changed. Carpet Smart saved me a lot of money and their work is top notch. It is a great family-run business that I highly recommend.

This place has been patient with me and my husband since we moved to Wilmington. We *finally* decided on flooring for our house after at least three estimates. We did have our house painted prior to moving in so I was nervous about their installers damaging the paint. Let me tell you; there was like one small baseboard damage (which this is not our first flooring company) which is nothing for 1500 ft2 of carpet. Very prompt in all aspects of the new flooring project. The cost were very competitive, the installation was done when they said it would be done. Very pleased with the outcome. This took place just after the hurricane, Florence . Getting repairs work done at this time was almost impossible. Except for Carpet Smart, they visited the house for the quote when they said they would, had great feedback to questions on the issues of converting hardware and carpet to the LVF, and sent their crew to install the flooring right on schedule.

Best place to deal with period. They let me take home samples multiple times to make sure I had the right color. All in all, great service and great prices.

I had Carpet Smart redo my hardwood floors last spring. Before I had my floors redone, I addressed a crawl space moisture issue by using a professional service. The crawlspace was encapsulated and uses a dehumidifier for moisture control. When the floors were sanded down there were gaps in the wood in several places due to the change the in crawlspace environment. I asked the installers to fill the gaps prior to putting the new coating on the floors. Once complete, i had concerns about several areas in the bathroom (due to staining and gaps). They came back out and wanted to charge to redo the portion that was stained versus asking me up front what the path forward would be. Furthermore, as we have had a very cold and dry winter, the gaps in the floor in this area and in several other areas are worse and very unsightly. I asked the owner to come look at the floors. He immediately told me that I had a moisture problem and washed his hands of the issue. Working with wood for a living I understand the expansion and contraction of a cellular substance. However, the floor gaps were not properly filled to start with and my wife and I found it upsetting that this was his answer and response to our concerns. I have sent 2 emails asking for a formal response and have not seen any correspondence.

I was looking for an area rug for my living room. I walk into carpet smart on a saturday. the staff was supper helpfu and friendlyl. they show me many different options. walked out with a great rug for a great price.

Generally reviews are posted shortly after the service and you dont really know how well the product has held up over time. I had my floors installed almost two years ago, from over 600 miles away. I worked with John over the phone and online and chose the flooring sight unseen. He knew what I was looking for and installed a beautiful floor for me in the entire 2nd floor of my new home, replacing carpet for my allergies. It looks as great today as the day it was installed. I am very pleased and relieved that it worked out so well even with me not being here. Would definitely work with them again should the need arise.

This was our first experience with Carpet Smart. Unfortunately, the rug we ordered had some dirt and smudge marks on the back and serge due to some rough handling between vendor and store. Fortunately, they handled the situation like true professionals and acknowledged the marks and arranged to pick up the damaged rug and deliver a new rug.

They installed about 1000 sq feet in our home of white oak, then refinished my old wood to match the new. They feathered in the seams so well, I cannot tell where the new and old meet. Had a horrible customer service experience with Carpet Smart from start to finish. Order was a month late getting installed. Installers showed up un-announced. Invoice was wrong and had to make multiple calls in order to get it corrected. It was a very simple job but it turned into a major headache. I would recommend looking somewhere else.

After vetting over 10 flooring companies and contractors, we chose Carpet Smart to install COREtec vinyl planking and carpet throughout our beach home at Holden Beach, NC. We chose them because of their favorable reviews on the Holden Beach FB pages and because we wanted a company that specialized in flooring materials and installation every day. We also had no doubt that John (the Owner) would stand behind his products and his installation if we ever had a problem. From my first contact with Patty on the telephone, to us meeting John, to their installation crews we found everyone at Carpet Smart to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. We had an idea going in concerning the materials we wanted. However, with Carpet Smarts broad selection of materials in their showroom, coupled with their staffs experience and knowledge they listened to us concerning our specific application and as a result they were able to guide us to exactly the right flooring for our needs and our pocket book. As with any older home, especially beach homes on pilings, we had a couple of issues that needed to be addressed. Hats off to Junior and Oscar of their installation crew for addressing these issues without a hiccup in addition to their extremely profession installation. Carpet Smart told us exactly what they were going to do and when they were going to do it, they provided a fair price and then they executed the plan, far exceeding our expectations.
