I am shocked to hear that Woodlawn Trustees is selling the land right next to the new National Park land of Delaware.....all for money and development. This is beautiful untouched land that generations of families have enjoyed and it holds a treasury of wildlife. There isnt much open land left in Delaware, and greed is leading Woodlawn Trustees to leave us even less open land! Thousands of people enjoy this area every year for activities and outdoor enjoyment. Its absolutely beautiful! Woodlawn, what are you thinking?! Why not clean up land that is already developed?! There is plenty of that. I, along with many other people, are disgusted with this organization and their plan for this park land.

Negative 5 stars. I am saddened and disgusted to see the fast development of Beaver Valley. Its mildly infuriating that they and WilmU keep saying traffic is not going to be impacted at 202 & 92. The holiday season is almost here, so this will be the first test to that. Awful greed continually destroying and exploiting what natural areas we have left.

Disappointing in every way. They are violating their own mission and the public good, intent on profiting from the development of one of the most precious natural open spaces left in the area. Shame on them.

Growing up and working on Woodlawn properties in my teens was an educational experience. My father was a HVAC contractor that installed many systems in the affordable housing in Wilmington. I learned the concept of giving and sharing in the community without the idea of profiting as the first objective. Im very disappointed to see the philosophy that William Bancroft established has been corrupted. Shame on the Board !

Is it possible to give negative stars? Morally corrupt and despicable. Try doing the right thing for once and make a decision that improves the world by leaving Beaver Valley alone.

Bad guys. The list is secret as to who they are, and no wonder. They are selling off William Bancrofts endowment en mass. Back in 1900 Bancroft set up open space for the people of Wilmington, DE and Concord Twp, PA, to be held in perpetuity for their enjoyment. A secondary goal was to provide low income housing. Both of these tenets are being violated by the Trustees who are trying to sell a huge parcel of land to be developed by friends of Concord Twp Supervisors into a Walmart and upper income housing. Luckily there are those who are trying to stop them and save the Beaver valley.

This company is trying to single-handedly destroy some of the most beautiful open space in the Brandywine valley.

Woodlawn does a better job at greenwashing the public than Monsanto ever has. Their real name could be DeadWood & FakeLawn
