We went to Perry’s Emporium on a Saturday and were kindly greeted by Judy Bishop. She took the time to ask a few simple questions to allow her to understand what we were looking for and how to help us. She took the time to show us multiple times and she possessed a vast knowledge. During our time there, Alan Perry took the time to approach us and asked about our shopping experience. He seemed and was very genuine in his asking.Judy was wonderful and provided a no pressure, haggle free, buying experience. I told Judy our budget for this transaction and she met it, without haggling or delay. Lastly, and more importantly, Judy treated us like family, complete with hugs before we left.You just don’t get this kind of service anymore but you sure get it at Perry’s Emporium. I highly recommend a visit to their store where you can expect to be treated like family.

This was my first visit but will not be my last. I brought a couple of my favorite pieces of jewelry in for repairs and walked out with a new piece. The displays are exquisite! Janice Schwartz assisted me, gave me a tour, and was extremely helpful from explaining the repairs to helping me try on new pieces that caught my eye. Repairs are done on site which put me at ease. The demeanor of the everyone I encountered was very pleasant. My experience was a pleasure.

My entire experience was great at Perry’s. I had no idea where to start and was pretty stressed to make sure I would pick the right ring. Geordi was awesome at helping me from the beginning. I had some ideas on what the ring should look like and sent it to him and he came back with the perfect combination of all of the styles I sent. He was prompt on keeping me in the loop on the status of the production. The whole process went smooth and quick. I will be going back for more purchases or upgrades!

I went in on a Tuesday afternoon and a very nice woman at the jewelry counter helped me with repairing several of my long treasured bone necklaces. She got all the kinks out and made them like new. When I told her my Movado watch battery expired, she mentioned Tony a goldsmith has experience with them and would be happy to take a look. Tony replaced the battery and was very helpful and friendly. Thank you both for all your kindness and help.

Jeweler Leah Ludwig understood my vision for combining my wedding band with my husbands band. The finished product was even better than I envisioned. I love the new ring. Leah has designed other pieces for me as well. Each piece is wonderful, very distinctive, and I always get compliments.

Been inside and helped 3 times so far and what a great atmosphere. Helpful, professional staff (I had Lynn). My finance purchased my engagement ring from here and they had a great sale for my wedding ring! It’s nice that it feels like they support you even after the purchase is made (cleanings) and fair prices for altering/fixing jewelry that I didn’t buy from them. This is my first negative review. My fiancé and I are very fortunate to have received rings from both our mothers. My fiancé’s ring is an antique ring with a sapphire stone and mine was a classic diamond in a basic band. We were extremely excited to combine both rings (put my mothers’ diamond in her mothers’ antique ring) as the symbolism of uniting both families. When we discussed our intentions with the sales lady, she literally LAUGHED AND SCOFFED that the diamond would never work with the antique ring. She then proceeded to sell us other rings and diamonds and refused to listen to what we wanted. We left horribly dissatisfied. Fortunately we were referred to another jeweler who went above and beyond and were more than willing to assist us. It was honestly not very difficult for the jeweler to bring our dreams to reality. This jeweler has earned our business for the rest of our lives while we tell everyone we know Perry’s is not the place to go.Pictured is the final result of what Perry’s could of given us but refused to help. Perry’s has been our go to jeweler since around 2010 with repairing family heirloom pieces and my wedding ring. Recently I had an family heirloom diamond replaced with a new white gold setting and Shelby was extremely helpful and patient in helping me pick that out. I also had my vintage Art Deco gold ring repaired- it is stunning! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Natalie and Rob were able to be answer questions about my jewelry. Recently purchased and engagement ring at Perry’s. I was pleased with the whole experience. Gail helped us find the perfect marquise diamond, she went above and beyond to make it happen. Perry’s is one of the few places with good selection of diamonds and also a great supporting selection of mounts. In our situation Gail ordered in extra marquise diamonds for us to choose from and did it within our budget. She took time to show us each one and really helped us find the perfect one. 5 star experience all the way around.The #1 thing I appreciate from perry’s is the sales staff. They’re professional, polite, and not pushy. It’s a pleasant experience walking into the store.#2: There is some beautiful jewelry in that store. There’s many clean, non-gaudy, beautiful pieces in the showcases. They really have something for everyone and one day I hope to return and find something else.

I brought my wedding band in for inspection. It had been 15 years since the last time. It needed an overhaul from abuse, I was lucky no chips or breaks had occurred. I cannot say enough good things about Perry’s Emporium. Truly. I moved to the area a few months ago and started looking for a new jeweler pretty soon after getting settled. I went to the store to drop off my diamond expecting to come back at a later date for my new ring and to my surprise, and delight, they put my diamond in my new ring while I waited in the store. I worked with goldsmith Leah Ludwig and she set my diamond SO beautifully and so quickly. I am blown away by how gorgeous my new ring is! What really blows me away the though is how amazing the staff was to work with at Perry’s. I was impressed with this store; friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had my jewelry appraised by another reputable Wilmington jeweler in 2017, and thought I would give them a try. I felt confident that my appraisals would be close to my past appraisals or even appraised higher, since the cost of gold and silverhave gone up since 2017. When I brought them in I was asked what my last appraisals were valued at. I was totally shocked when we looked at the appraisals! I would think my jewelry would have been appraised at about the same value or even more! The truth is they appraised both of my diamond rings thousands of dollars below my last appraisals! I found that to be quite unsettling. When I called to question the appraisals, no one ever called me back.

Repairs to my wedding ring were completed quickly, at a reasonable price and the staff was easy to work with.

My wife lost one of her Tiffany earrings and we went in to look for a new pair. We’re new to the area and saw that Perry’s had good reviews and even got a few recommendations from friends. We ended up being helped by Leah L., one of the jewelers in the establishment. She was very knowledgeable had a keen eye for design. Leah listened to us, which we liked, and helped guide us to a great pair of earrings within our price range.

I walked in with the thought that this probably not going to happen, on a Wednesday afternoon and three days before my 40th wedding anniversary needing work on a diamond ring and some diamonds and ruby on a necklace.
