This was my first time in this store. I was immediately greeted with a friendly face. Cheryl took the time with me to answer my questions. I needed help with a ring sizing, she noticed that one of the diamonds had come out of my ring, she not only helped me with the guard I needed for sizing, but she was able to find an extra little diamond piece and get it placed in my ring. I asked her how much I owed her, she said just smiled and said all she needed was a thank you. Being in customer service/sales for almost 2 decades, I know that this type of customer service is extremely rare. I was lost for words. Although I was not ready to make any big purchases today, I know for sure that when I am ready, I will definitely be going back to Jared to see Cheryl.
Allow me to first start off by saying this isnt my first time in a Jared store and Im happy to say it wont be my last. To the representatives Renee, Monique Wing, and GM Mark Humphrey, THANK YOU. I had an issue with a service plan that a separate Jared location had left out. These three individuals moved heaven and earth to make sure I left that store satisfied. Theyre located in Wilmington De on Concord Pike. These 3 individuals need to be commended for their hard work and customer satisfaction. I WILL BE BACK.
I’ve been going to Jared in Wilmington Delaware for over 15 years. I went today to drop off 3 items to get fixed and to purchase a bracelet for my granddaughter. They take my name to make an appointment to drop off my jewelry and then after making the appointment she decided to tell me if I did not purchase it from Jared I can’t get it fixed there. This is the first. Then I wanted to buy my granddaughter a bracelet, well, they were not very friendly or helpful, they were actually very rude! I will never purchase or drop another piece of jewelry from them again. My family also purchased jewelry from Jared and they will be going else where too! The sad thing is they did not seem to care that I walked out, especially the man that waited on me. I went on Friday, August 14th at noon.
Had a great experience buying an engagement ring here. I especially recommend Renee! She provided very helpful education about everything I needed to know about buying a diamond and was extremely helpful in finding the best value. She was knowledgeable and patient as I went through all the options. I definitely recommend asking for her help if you shop here.
It took days to get my rings cleaned. Used to take 1-2 days at king of prussia. Often same day service. I called today at 330 hoping my rings would be ready and was told it wasn’t done, and I’d get an email when they were ready. Never got an email and called after 5 and the rings were ready but I didn’t feel like making the big drive. When I was at the store, wanted to order earring backs for the diamond earrings we bought at Jared. There was no back that fit my earrings. I need 2 backs now. Can you help me? I’m pretty sure you can’t.

Best service ever! Renee helped my mother and I with some Pandora items. She was friendly, funny and knowledgeable about the products. It was my Moms 70th Birthday and Renee gave her first class treatment. She left the store with her bracelet shinning and a smile from ear to ear!! The store even had an area for my kids to play and watch movies while I shopped.
They make you sign in when you walk in the front door I think because help was limited. I missed the table and stood in line before realizing and had to wait again for my name. So make sure you sign in if you want help in a timely fashion. Other than that we had great customer service on getting a stone replaced that fell out of my ring! I must add it is Valentines day month so Im guessing they were a little busier than usual!
Its a great place. Too go for the holidays.. Or for the matter of fact. Any day is the best day. Too go shopping. Everyone is Very hospitable, respectful.
I had a great experience taking jewelry in for service. I was greeted as I came in the door. The sales person was knowledge and relatively quick.
Your staff is always polite friendly helpful and professional.... they always keep themselves at the highest standard and put the customer first in every aspect... even being from Philadelphia this is my favorite store to shop for my jury needs thank you for allowing me to be a valued customer and I wish you well in your continued success in 2018....
Yunhae is fabulous and worked with us tirelessly. She truly knows what shes doing when it comes to gems and diamonds.Jared is the place to go. I love my rainbow diamond!
Horrible experience. I purchased an engagement ring there, and it took them 4 hours to put the stone on the ring, even though I got there half an hour after opening. Then they said “I had to upgrade the prong”, even though it was the right fit for the diamond. Later that day when I called customer service, they lied and said they gave me the option to upgrade the prong. They also added the warranty without asking me if I wanted it. Finally, I wanted to return two previously owned watches to the store that were unopened and within the 30 days of purchase. They said I couldn’t. Customer service said I could have, they were just lazy. I ended up returning the watches at a Jared’s where the customer service was much better. I’m definitely not going back to this location for my next purchase!
The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and gives you the time needed to make selections or explain concerns. I never felt rushed.
My husband and I appreciated the coupons from Jared for $100 off a $100 purchase, plus the storewide 15% off! We each received one, so I chose a nice necklace for about $27 and the matching earrings for about $25. The charm on the necklace has a little diamond; however, the chain is cheap and gives a dirty appearance when worn with the charm. Thankfully I have a nice chain I can use with the charm. The earrings are pretty, bib one of the backs wont stay locked, so theyll be going back to see if they can give me a new back. The overall checkout process is very tedious! It literally took the sales person over 20 minutes to get us checked out, so be prepared for this!
This was the very best experience I have ever had when buying jewery. The representative was suburb. The atmosphere was very friendly and absolutely suitable for a buying experience. I have been to other jewelry stores and this was by far the best
If I could give zero stars, I would. I took my platinum wedding band & engagement ring to get their annual cleaning December 2017. I was told that they would clean my rings and tighten my prongs, all included. When I got my rings back, they looked beautiful, they said that they were all done, in good order and I went about my way. Fast forward to February 2018, and one of my diamonds in my engagement ring popped out! Luckily I saw it happen and was able to save my diamond. I went back to Jareds that weekend and was told that there were two cracks in the setting. This was NOT mentioned when they gave me back my rings in December, so I was a bit concerned. The customer service associate was very defensive and unhelpful. It didnt make sense how there could be two cracks in the setting if it was just fine less than two months ago. I worked retail while engaged, and I was way tougher on my ring then, than I am now. I ended up taking my ring back to the place I bought it, they took one look at said that Jareds had done a number on my ring. They were careless and were sure how on Earth it cracked. Whats even worse, is not only were here two cracks in the setting, the bridge that held my diamond up was broken! I ended up having to get my ring completely remade, from scratch. I will never take my rings to Jareds, purchase anything from them, nor recommend Jareds to a family member or friend. The worst experience ever.

Used the internet to purchase the jewelry and picked it up at the store. It was 2 days before Christmas but the service is always good when I go in. Also go twice a year for other jewelry I have purchased from this store and never have waited more than a couple of minutes from walking in the door for someone to ask if I need assistance. Been going to this store for years

DO NOT GO TO JARED IN WILMINGTON DELAWARE. I have never had a more disappointing, awful and just outright unacceptable experience. To make too long of a story short, we bought my engagement ring here and not once did they mess up my ring, but TWICE. The day of, they told us it would be ready in 5 hours, and when I came to pick it up, they had placed the center stone on the wrong prongs. When I explained to the jeweler that it was on the wrong prongs, he was just rude. My center stone was also off-center, and when I told him that, he snidely replied I wasnt looking that closely. Well I WAS, and YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN. After it was fixed a week and a half later, one of my prongs broke!!!!!!! I havent even had the ring for THREE WEEKS. When I took it back in AGAIN to to be fixed, the assistant manager was shocked that it had broken and immediately knew which jeweler it was (younger gentleman with long hair). Had it fixed (yet again) by a different jeweler. When I sat down with the general manager the next day to express my concerns, she pretty much laughed in my face and said she couldnt do anything. She never even apologized or took any responsibility for her staff!! Theres so much more to the story, and for that reason I am writing this WARNING to please not go here. Terrible customer service. They just dont care.
I took my grandmothers ring to have 3 prongs repaired and the stone reset.1st time we picked up the ring I was shocked at the quality of the work done on the ring. The prongs looked as if they were beat with a hammer, gouged and smashed on the stone, and the stone is scratched to hell. They agreed to make it right and they denied any sharp tools are used when repairing jewlery.Went to pick up the ring the 2nd time. The stone was set sideways, prongs still smashed and gouged. This time we were told that the original jeweler that worked on the ring is no longer employed by Jared. The staff acknowledged the stone was not straight and they apologized. At that point, I said I would take it somewhere else and have the ring repaired. They asked me to let them make it right since the person would did the work was gone. I was ensured that the manager would personally oversee the work. The store is over an hour drive, so they suggested that they would ship my ring to Kays.I agreed to give them another opportunity to fix the ring. I picked up the ring yesterday. Im sad and disappointed in the unacceptable work Jared did on the ring. I am beyond angry at this point. I paid for services that Ill pay someone else to again to do it right.Jared has lost all credibility with me, I will never do business with them again. Its too bad because we have spent a lot of money in this store. I will allow them to inspect my jewelry purchased from them, per the agreement, but they will never make any repairs needed.

Wonderful personal service. There was one occurrence when I went for my 6 month inspection and the lady kept commenting about “do you not take your ring off? There was so much stuff in it” during the cleaning and listed the stuff she found in the ring with an accusatory tone. I also requested my ring size to be adjusted since it was slipping off my finger for 6 months that I needed to wear those ugly ring guards and she told me not to. I made sure to bring my fiancée back with me for the next 6 month inspection and we went on a day we knew my original jeweler would be there. She easily took a look at how big the ring was and I had it resized as it should have been from the last time I came in but was dismissed. I make sure now NEVER to go there unless my original jeweler is there.

All the staff we have interacted with at this store have been very helpful and interested in our satisfaction except one, and fortunately our time with her was brief. This is the least pushy chain of jewelry store we went to, and it also had the best selection, so we are Jareds cuatomers for the foreseeable future.
Terrible Service and Bad Quality. Sales staff friendly but not interested in helping if you have a real problem. Jewelry sizing and repair staff rude and horrible. Did everything wrong twice. Never leave anything that matters to you there if you want it back in good shape. They did a horrible job with a ring I cherish and when I asked them to fix it the response was that it had little value and oh well.Ring broke in two!! I was left mad and unhelped.
My experience was very poor. Horrible customer service and told me one price to fix my watch, but wrote down another when I came to p/u . Finally after me lodging my complaint, the manager finally agreed to adjust. So poor!!
Shockingly bad customer service when I called to check the status of my watch. An employee engaged me in a hostile and accusatory argument after I asked a routine question -- whether my watch was ready to be picked up. I wont be using this store again.
