Well I will say the woman that works there is sooo nice the owner is such an a hole came over and laughed in my face about the jewelry I brought in to sell like I knew some wasnt real but he wouldnt even let the woman test the other stuff and also they wont buy anything if it isnt over 100 bucks nice to know before rushing over before they closed but how would I know how much its worth till I bring it in well the time before I brought 130 bucks worth of gold and the time before that I brought 1450 bucks of gold but I will be going elsewhere from now on atleast if he is there he need to let the woman run the store he needs to retire NOW

I stopped in to get my engagement ring reshaped. I had jammed my hand and the ring was an oval at that point. I was told I would need to leave it with them (which is not an option) and if I wanted to wait for it I would have to make an appointment to wait which would cost double to fix. This was not a repair just needed to be re-shaped. I walked right into Jared at the mall and they fixed AND cleaned it within minutes. I didn’t pay a thing. Whitten’s very obviously has no idea what they are doing or talking about.

Weve dealt with Whittens for 30 years. They have an outstanding reputation and our experiences there show its well deserved. In addition to purchases, weve had numerous pieces of jewelry repaired. The workmanship is first class.

I have brought my treasures to Craig Whitten for over 30 years. He reset and reconfigured my engagement for for my 30th anniversary and I get compliments all the time. He is honest about repairing my family heirlooms and will tell me that they are not necessarily worth the cost of repair but he is VERY RESPECTFUL of the intrinsic value of my feelings. His repairs are impeccable. His prices are very fair and he has lovely pieces for sale.He is honest, has integrity and is a fine craftsman.

Don’t be fooled by the overpriced items in display cases, you’ll be lucky to receive 20% of pawn shop prices at Whitman’s.I’ve taken the precious metals I come across at auction and estate sales to Diamond State Coins & Currency and for good reason. They will give you top dollar without negotiation.I only brought what I had here after reaching out and sending pictures of some vintage jewelry. I was assured that because it was antique/vintage it was worth more and they would pay more than their melt value.Whitman’s lied to me.Upon arrival, I was offered melt value for the same pieces I was told they would offer more than melt value. Save yourself the time and go to Diamond State Coin and Currency.Whittman’s was a waste of time.

Great family owned store! I won a diamond in a promotion they did a couple years ago. They custom did my setting for it when my husband proposed and we got our wedding bands there too. They were very helpful and patient with us when my husband wanted to upgrade my diamond as an anniversary gift. We also got a beautiful diamond tennis bracelet at a great price. They do appraisals in house which is convenient for insurance purposes. I have also bought a ton of Chamilia bracelets and beads here over the years. So has my mom, best friend and her mom. They have a great selection. They also carry a lot of Troll Beads. They buy gold and silver, and do custom jewelry and jewelry repair. These are all services I have taken advantage of over the years and have been very happy with. Craig, Neal, Christina and the rest of the staff are all friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this store!

EXCELLENT!!! Ive had nothing less than superior service when visiting Whittens. My repairs are always completed to perfection by the knowledgeable and expert jewelers. The staff is always attentive and patient - always willing to help in anyway possible. I never take my jewelry anywhere besides Whittens because I know its a store I can trust to complete all of my jewelry needs!

Several months ago i was at wittens to replace a watch strap and to sell a piece of gold i had inherited. A very nice young women assisted me. After looking at and testing the piece she informed me it had no value.Which kind of surprised me. But she is in the business so I took her word for it.I started weighting e pieces, to sell as scrape gold . I purchased a loupe and within a minute i could clearly see Louis Comfort Tiffanys full signature was just below where she had taken her sample. I know this piece was odd looking and 9 carat the standard in europe. I also have 10 other pieces marked L.C.T 375 which I almost melted down for scrap gold, maybe a second opinion would have caught error. Wont be returning to store.
