During my short time here Nikki has been very helpful and always had great communication. Terminating my lease, due to personal reasons, was a breeze with her because she was very understanding and attentive from beginning to end!

We just renewed our lease here for our son! He is a Junior at UNCW and finds it very convenient to campus. We love that it is a safe environment as well as fully furnished! Nikki has always been responsive and friendly when we’ve needed her help. As parents several hours away this is a great benefit! We highly recommend you add this to your apartment hunting list!

In the process of looking for our daughter a place of her own, we discovered Seahawk Cove. Nikki Kroes, the Seahawk Cove Manager, was a true professional from the very start. During the tour of the apartment, Nikki was able to answer any question that we had about the rental and the area. We knew immediately that Seahawk Cove was going to be our pick. The apartments are very clean with a spacious and well laid out floor plan. The parking lot is well lite at night and the entire complex well maintained. We feel very fortunate to have found such an affordable place for our daughters first apartment with such a caring complex manager.

This will be the third year that my son has leased with Seahawk Cove. We have not had any major problems and the small ones we have had have been resolved quickly. We feel like Nikki the manager does stay in contact with you when there is an issue and she does respond back to you in a timely manner. For the money that you pay, the location close to the UNCW campus, convenient bus transportation to campus, and for students who want to live off campus this apartment complex is great.

We have been pleased with our experience at Seahawk Cove. Nikki, the property manager, has been great to work with. Issues have been resolved quickly with little disruption. Ideal for the UNCW student as it is located close to the campus and a campus bus stop. The living and parking areas are clean and nice looking. There is adequate lighting for safety as well. The design of the apartment allows for both social interaction and privacy. Highly recommend.

Very modern and up to date apartment. Had no major trouble with anything, and anything I did have a problem with, Nikki Kroes did a stellar job as property manager with quickly responding and took care of anything I needed. Amazing deal with utilities being included.

The Seahawk Cove was a wonderful place for me. The distance to the university campus was very convenient, the accommodations and utilities provided were extremely appreciated, and I was always notified of changes as they were happening (curtesy of Nikki Kroes). If I were staying is Wilmington, I’d stay here again, easily.

Our son rented an apartment year his sophomore year at UNCW. We had a wonderful experience with Seahawk Cove, particularly Nikki Kroes. She was extremely responsive to both our needs and our sons. She always responded to emails and voicemails very quickly. The apartment was nice, the rent reasonable, and the fact that it included utilities (electric had a cap but he hardly ever went over) was a huge plus. Thank you!

We faced some unforeseen challenges and Nikki worked with us to resolve those challenges and communicate with us on a regular basis. She went above and beyond her expected duties to help meet our needs. I would highly recommend Seahawk Cove to other families.

Age discrimination is practiced here. Im a full time student starting my senior year at UNCW. Im a non-traditional (older) student who has been rewarded by the university with scholarships and grants based on merit (3.87 GPA). As the attached picture shows, Seahawk Cove refused my application based on my age. As you can see from the other reviews you may feel that this might not be a good fit for you. There are a lot of great off-campus housing options for you as a student. Good luck!

I lived at seahawk cove this past school year and In my opinion, it is a hidden gem. Anytime I mentioned where I lived to someone, they had never heard of it.Let me start out with the pros by saying that the maintenance team was great. Granted they do not have their own maintenance team but they would send in certain outside services. Anytime I submitted a maintenance request (we never had any big problems, just stuff such as clogged drain) they would have someone call me to schedule something for the same day, or the next day. The rent is also incredibly cheap for a furnished apartment. Also our neighbors were great and we became good friends with them! The place was also pretty clean upon move in which was great. lastly, best of all, they are one of the only student housing complexes to offer a nine month lease.There is no management office or any management on property, which did not turn out to be a problem for us. You are able to have get togethers without having to worry about management. We never had to deal with anything getting out of hand with anything in the complex which would pose a need for management.There are a few small things that I encountered. Upon move in my toilet seat was broken, mainly just loose. Also when my dad placed my towel on my towel rack it immediately fell off of the wall as it was just placed back on the wall, not screwed in. Luckily my dad was able to fix these for me and they were just small things. Also The walls are very thin, but that may be common among student housing, im not sure. There is also no amenities but the rent is cheap enough to make up for this.I am not living here again for other reasons, but Overall I would definitely recommend living here, Especially for your sophomore year and first apartment.

Absolutely horrible management. I had roommate issues involving an assault and management refused to try and help and refused to let me out of my lease. I even provided her with evidence of my roommate being in breach of her lease and constantly was told something was going to be done about it and then I randomly didnt hear back about it for a week just to be told that everyone has roommate issues . She let this situation dwell and get worse and the courts had to be involved. they just want your money and dont care about the rest. Terrible apartments! These apartments are also very dirty and no one cares. I highly recommend finding somewhere else. These apartments are however cheap but just know you get what you pay for.

There might as well not be walls or doors in the apartment because you can hear everything through them...people walking and talking as they go up the stairs as well as people shutting their car doors... the people above you walking and flushing the toilet...even with bedroom doors shut you can hear entire conversations in the living room word for word as well as everything else that is conducted in the apt. Overall constructed very very poorly.

Can I just say, I love this community. The people are great, the atmosphere is awesome. Nauteca, the community manager is just lovely, and always available to answer any questions.

Worst place I have ever lived. Would give 0 stars if I could! The management is a JOKE. Poorly constructed apartments along with no amenities previously discussed nor gated entry (like the sign out front says?) Signing a lease with these people was the worst nightmare of my life. Ended up subleasing after 2 months. I do not recommend.

The apartment management employees are completely inconsiderate. After my roommate broke many of the rules on the lease, they still have not evicted her. I highly do not reccomend leasing an apartment with this complex. For anyone considering living here, I do not reccommend it. The walls are also very thin causing noises to travel from everywhere inside and outside of my apartment.

I have loved living here and the location is great. It is a very small and quite place to live. If you can live without amenities then this is the place for you. There is no clubhouse and no pool or anything like that. This place is built very cheaply as well. If any water gets on the floor in the bathroom then the floor starts to bow and the door are so cheaply made that the door stopper for a door I have opened maybe 10 times in a year went through the door and made a hole. The walls do not seem painted and if you get any water on the wall or rub anything against it wrongly then there will be marks on the wall that do not come off. There were so many problems when I moved in such as a broken dishwasher, the fridge door being put on the wrong way (still broken), the fridge being dented that was finally fixed after several months and many more things. There has been an issue that I have been calling about for almost 3 months now and it is still not fixed. They keep telling me people are coming and they never show up.

The size of the apartment is surprisingly large and I havent had any issues with anything yet. The location is perfect, making commuting to school very easy. There is a lack of amenities here, however that does not bother me since there is plenty at the Rec Center on campus. One complaint I have is the apparent lack of recycling options.

Tried taking over someones lease, but the lack of professionalism from Nautica, the leasing manager, steered me clear of this place. Im glad though, if the application process was a nightmare, I cant imagine what living there would be like.
