Fran and his staff are amazing! I run a restaurant, and we use east atlantic for our plumbing needs. The work they do is very thorough, fast, and, unlike other workers in their field (and many other fields to be honest,) stays fixed and doesn’t just break again a few weeks later, there is no band aid with these guys, they do the work and do it right to the point where it isn’t a problem anymore. When we call Fran, the response time is lightning quick, he’s usually out within the hour and hops right on the issue. He also is amazing at communicating what the problem is, what they had to get to fix it, how they fixed it, and any issues that arose during the process, providing pictures of the process the whole time. Couldn’t imagine handling this restaurant without the help of Fran and his staff! Truly one of the good ones!

Our home had the original 64 year old cast iron sewer pipes. Wed had multiple issues in the past few years since wed bought the house, and other companies did not give us the full story of how bad the pipes were. When we started having issues again, I called East Atlantic We were smelling sewer gas and they found a pipe cap had come off under the house. We knew it was due to a possible clog and as soon as the cap was put on, everything started backing up. First thing the next morning the techs were back to clear our line, we were shown the camera images of how bad our lines were and we knew they all needed to be replaced. We immediately began the process of replacing all of our cast iron pipes under the house. They were straight forward in pricing and kept me informed about what we needed to do. Pricing was right in line with what Id thought it would be ( it was a big job). Within a few days, due to weather; our job was started. We were amazed at how quickly our job was completed and we were only without water for a short time. We are very thankful to have found East Atlantic when we did. The employees are great and customer service is top notch! We look forward to working with them again in the future to replace the remaining sewer line in our yard.

Usually do not have a reason to post reviews for businesses as most of them were fairly ok or just did the work that needed to be done, however, I wanted to write this post so East Coast would know how very satisfied and impressed I was and still am on the service they provided for me. They not only came out immediately after knowing that I needed their help, they were very friendly, polite, and worked very hard to get my toilet repaired. This is by far the best and most professional plumbing company that I have ever dealt with and would recommend them to anyone! I called due to my daughters bedroom leaking water flooding her floors, they came that day very fast and respectful. slowed the leaking down it was in the late afternoon they said they couldn’t fix it due to not having parts (even tho they only doing emergency calls but don’t have parts in there truck?) & the hour of day being late they said they would come back in AM to fix it and that I would receive phone call first thing in the morning. Had no issue with itI didn’t get any calls all morning water still leaking in my daughters room so I call them to find out what’s going onThe owner tells me he isn’t going to be able to come because they are only doing emergency calls (my 6year old daughter floor flooding to him isn’t an emergency I guess ) he said he filled his day up already? But didn’t book me into his day even tho he told me he would come just the night before . No one ever called to even say they aren’t coming or could I reschedule not a word. Of course after I called and had our Discussion with him i told him I was leaving a bad review he changes his story and proceeds to tell me he’ll cancel his “more important emergency jobs” and come today... I’ll spend my money somewhere else not how you run a business very unprofessionalI only left 1star so that I could leave this review

We had an emergency, called on the weekend and spoke to someone very knowledgeable. Put us at ease immediately . The plumbers came and unclogged our drains. Very affordable and professional, explained everything. We will continue to use them.

Fran Richard helped me with a plumbing issue on a site where I met him on another job at that site. He and his staff took time to help me resolve my issue totally aside from the job that they were working on. They were fully knowledgeable of what they were doing. They were genuinely interested in just being helpful to me and I appreciate all of them. Fran would not accept any payment for their help. There are still good people left in this world! I would certainly recommend this company to anyone.

Don’t use if you don’t want your stuff broken. Took apart our sink for a new countertop install. came back to reinstall and nothing is secure and they are playing dumb. don’t appreciate the attitude when we called them to inquire about it either!

On the first day I contacted this company, they asked me to come home from work early so if they worked after 5pm the job would be double the cost. So when crew arrived they worked an hour and said they dislodged problem. $489.00Saturday morning: called office and I was told no one could come till 3pm. They did come that morning only because of my insistence. Fran, the owner was rude and I felt he blamed me for buying an older home and even tried to compare my plumbing issues to a car problem. Unfortunately the two young men that did the hard work, I have no problem with. I wish them the best.

I’ve been dealing with plumbing issues for over a year now and have called others to help but the problem was never quite fixed. This morning, that issue became an unexpected emergency. A friend of mine referred Fran. I called in the morning and he quickly called me back. Fran showed up after lunch with two trucks and two other guys! These men mean business. Fran, Will, and Nick showed up and were able to identify the issue, explain it in english, and get the job down much faster than their competitors had. These guys identified my problem, fixed it, gave me some great advice, and all in a very same day!! As a female and first time homeowner, I often worry about being taken advantage of, but the team at east coast plumbing made me feel like I had trusted advisors in my home. I will be recommending them to all of my friends. Thank you soooo much!!!

I did not actually use this company, but still wanted to write a review. I read a lot of good reviews and knew I wanted this company to help me with my problem. The gentleman I spoke to hesitated when I told him where I lived. He said they service my area sometimes. I do understand that because it is about 40 miles from the address listed on their website. He asked what I needed done and then told me that my job was too small for them to come out that far. What I don’t understand is why my job was too small when I was willing to pay whatever he told me because I need my leaking toilet fixed.

Was in a pinch thinking I had a major leak issue behind a wall in my house. Called this morning, was able to get scheduled for the afternoon. Showed up right at 3pm as stated. Were a great help and let me know what my issue was (luckily wasnt plumbing related) but super courteous and professional. Thanks Guys!Called East Atlantic Plumbing at 10am and the same morning they came out within about an hour and a half. Id missed their phone call but they still came and caught me working in the backyard. We had a high water bill and just had them come out and repair the pipe last billing session, but we had yet another high bill. The guys came out and were great at explaining the meter reading and showing me how its affected by a water leak compared to regular usage. They checked the whole house for any other leaks and found none. They gave me options as to what may have caused the high bill and we are in the process of following up on it. Looks like the high bill may be due to the water leak from the previous time since we repaired it in between billing cycles.Both guys were very pleasant and fun! I will admit that I almost called a competitor only because I had used them previously, but my fiance trumped me out and Im glad he did! Will continue to use and recommend East Atlantic Plumbing in the future! Keep up the awesome work!

We had an emergency weekend plumbing problem and called multiple plumbing services. East Atlantic Plumbing was the only company who picked up. They responded quickly and were to help us get the water turned off and set an appointment. When they came, they identified the problem quickly, fixed it, and made sure the water to the house was turned back on as well as the hot water heater. They then proceeded to check that everything was working correctly and explained the steps I needed to take in order to not be charged for the excess water by the water company. We really appreciated their quick, knowledgeable, and courteous service. We highly recommend them if you need any plumbing.

First, I hardly ever write reviews….and yet, I count on them when picking companies, so I will get better at doing this. We just purchased a home for our mom and knew something was going on with the plumbing. I live out of state and was setting everything up for repairs over a three-day period. I was flying in to work on the house to get it ready for my mom to move in and didnt have a lot of time. I believed from the beginning we had a clog somewhere in the main drain line and had set up for another plumbing company (referred by a family member) to come out. The morning they were schedule to come, the drain backed up and both bathrooms flooded. It was coming up the tub drains and from the base of the toilets….water was everywhere and we, not yet occupying the house, had maybe 6 towels to mop up what seemed like 100 gallons. It was not a good start to the day. In comes plumbing company A. They asked if I had an outside cleanout, I had been to the house twice since we bought it and had no idea, so I shrugged and said “maybe”. Plumber A walked around the house, kicked around some dirt and came in and told me they wouldn’t help me because I had no outside cleanout…..I’m sorry, what?! I was soaked, unable to cleanup the mess, totally exhausted from travelling, my coffee was cold, and now the plumber I set up two weeks prior and told what I needed, told me they wouldn’t help and LEFT! Insert panic.I called EAST ATLANTIC PLUMBING at 0930 on a FRIDAY and begged for help. Fran (owner) called me and asked me to explain what was happening. Within an hour, I had three gentlemen at my door and the promise that they would not leave until they fixed my issue. I will skip the rest of the process, but will tell you at the conclusion of this, we had 6 guys from East Atlantic Plumbing, three county public works representatives, and 6 hours of work….they didn’t even stop for lunch. They were AWESOME!!!! You should know too; EAST ATLANTIC found the elusive OUTSIDE cleanout that Plumber A said I didn’t have! What was my issue? The main drain line from the house to the public sewer tie in was separated and therefore, my drain was going into the ground and when it could not absorb fast enough, it pushed it back into the house. It was a mess. They fixed everything!I cannot emphasize enough to you how AMAZING this company was. They were POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, CLEAN, and they KEPT THEIR PROMISE!. If all those aren’t enough, they were AFFORDABLE! I paid half of what I had in my head the cost would be based on the work they were doing. I have no concerns about moving my mom into this house and there being plumbing issues. These guys are THE BEST!!!

East Atlantic Plumbing is an honest and dependable company. Fran helped me through an issue that I thought I should get a plumber for and he referred me over to the Cape Fear Public Utilities Company who ended up fixing it for me at no charge (since it was a Public Utilities issue). He stayed in touch with me through the day to make sure I got my issue resolved and had a spot reserved for me that day if they couldnt resolve it! Im sure he could have come out and charged me without going out of his way to refer me over to the Public Utilities, but was honest and helpful enough to do so! My bathtub faucet broke on a Sunday and it was a holiday. I had to shut off my water for the whole house and thus no bathroom or water until I could get it repaired. Other plumbers put me off but Fran was understanding of my situation and was at my house within an hour. His whole crew, Tim and Rick included, were excellent. They had me up and going in no time. Woke up this morning to find a serious clog in the kitchen sink. All other drains were fine. I called the folks at East Atlantic and they sent someone over in short order. The problem was found in the drain in the crawlspace under the kitchen. They performed the very messy job in tight quarters quickly and satisfactorily. I will definitely use them in the future.

I called East Atlantic Plumbing on a Sunday to repair a leaking faucet on my tub. I work out of town during the week and had to communicate with Fran (the owner) that I would not be there to oversee the repair and would have my roommate let them inside. We agreed on a time for them to come look at the issue that following Monday at lunch.The whole process was a breeze. Fran and his other employee Tim were sure to call/text me when they arrived and let me know the issue at hand, as well as a cost estimate for the repair.The estimate was definitely beyond reasonable and the gentleman proceeded to send me pictures of the repair before, during, and after it was completed!
