I wish I would have found this place when I first arrived in Wilmington 6 months ago. Would have saved me a lot of grief.

Deb has been cutting my hair for 6 months and I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone but her. I constantly get compliments on my haircut. Not only does she give an amazing haircut, but she makes the entire experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this place!!!

Sweet lady. Awesome haircut. Extremely happy with the results. Cost $17 including a straight razor neck clean up. Deb did my hair, but I watched the other (younger) lady give 2 haircuts and they were excellent as well. Best haircut Ive had since I moved to Wilmington by far. Will definitely be back. Today May 6th was my first time at Hanover Mens Cuts. It was a great experience!! Ruth cut my hair just the way I wanted it done. She made some very good suggestions on what to do with problem areas of my hair. She was very pleasant and did an EXCELLENT job!! I will return again and again. You will like this place to get your hair cut!!! Most importantly-----she took her time and made me feel at HOME!!!!

I went to UNCW and for four years I got my haircut here with Ruth and Deb. They are both so wonderful and nice to talk to. They also give great advice and love when you ask questions. My hair was pretty dry for a while and Ruth gave me some amazing advice to make it healthier. Deb gave me some fantastic style tips. I had Ruth most often and she is the best. She does an amazing haircut, really listens to you and makes sure to do what you want but also gives her own input when she thinks a slight change could make the cut look better. She is also so funny to talk to. She always has good stories and makes me laugh every time I see her. I cannot speak more highly about Hanover Mens Cuts. They do it right over there and I miss them dearly now that I have moved out of the area. If you are new in town and want to get a walk in haircut, I recommend showing up at opening. It is so popular here that if you show up during the day and without an appointment, you might have a lengthy wait. Also their appointments fill up fast so it is best to schedule a few weeks in advance. Once you meet Deb and Ruth, they will take great care of you.

Got my hair cut by Deb recently and I can honestly say it is the best haircut Ive had in many years. She took her time to make sure everything was right. Not to mention the price! You cant beat 15 bucks for top notch service. Wonderful place overall! Will definitely be coming back.

They provide a good haircuts for the price, my roommates always went here! I’m not sure what happened to Tiffany though, she was the one that normally cut my hair before corona. This is also a small local business, so if you want to support your local business get your haircut here!

WOW! What a place! Ive never had anyone take so much genuine time listening to me and hearing what I had to say. so much time was spent addressing my concerns, answering my questions and offering alternative options to best fit my hair type. Deb was so wonderful and kind! She treated me like I was a family member, Im not kidding. She was so true and genuine when talking to me it put me at ease. ON top of her being such a great person, I might even stretch to say shes an even GREATER stylist! Usually when I leave a hair salon I leave feeling so-so about my cut knowing that itll eventually grow into what I was wanting. but after leaving Deb I had exactly what I asked for and I was baffled by it. Ive never had someone cut my hair with so much precision and care. She definitely knows her stuff! I recommend this shop to EVERYONE, it’s a 10/10 must go.

New Hanover mens cuts is a small and unique haircut place located near Apple Annies bakeshop, and the patriot dive center off of S. College Rd. This place is run by Deborah, a sweet lady who is an expert in mens hair. She does not care about getting your hair done fast, she cares about the quality. She makes sure you are satisfied every single time. The best aspect of this place is the customer service. Deborah introduces herself as soon as you come in and she makes it a point to make you feel welcomed. As long as I am in Wilmington I will always come to New Hanover mens cuts . Also I am a college student and her prices are just like any great clips. 5/5 strongly recommended

Deb is one of my all time favorite hair stylists. I hate that I had to leave Wilmington. She does such a great job at an excellent price, she cant be beat.

My son has been coming to see Deb for a few years. She’s very knowledgeable and friendly. We like that the shop is close to UNCW so he can walk or ride his bike there from campus.

The ladies at Hanover mens cuts are the real deal. Like many other reviews have stated, they take their time with each individual. Not only do they LISTEN to the customer in their respective chairs, but they are willing to EXPLAIN the reason why they cut a certain way or why a certain style may not work for your hair style (thickness, lay pattern, etc). I personally like Deb as she takes time with me every time Im there. Highly recommend all of them as they are always busy and always explaining the why!

My barber, Leslie, did a great job. My wait was less than ten minutes, and the haircut itself was thorough but didnt take forever either. At the end she offered to make any adjustments Id like if I decided my haircut wasnt great. I was very impressed with the level of service and professionalism. I will definitely be making this my go to barber shop.

Just picked this place because its closer to my apartment, really glad I did. I usually dont do barbers, so I was a little apprehensive. Great experience though, was sure that with how much care and time deb put in that it would be over 50 bucks, but it was only 20. For sure found my new barber.

New Hanover Mens Cuts does and excellent job to accomplish any hair cut you want. The two barbers that I have had are Ruth and Deb both always go above and beyond to insure I get the best cut possible. The shop is very clean! One of my favorite parts of the hair cut is getting my neck shaved with razor and the warm towel. I highly reccomend you go here to experience the incredible service with very personable barbers!

Went by there today not knowing what to expect. First of all I didnt have to wait forever which was great and than these sweet 2 ladies both tried to help me out of how to cut my hair correctly. Im from oversees and the hair cut I have and want is so too. Its not your everyday haircut but she ended up taking all the time in the world to figure out & and I think that awesome. They really care about you at Hanover Mens cut!

I would say the prices are competitive but that would be comparing diamonds to coal. Deb did a fantastic job on my hair and gave more attention to it than any commercial cuts Ive been to. Walked out as a completely new man after she did her thing. Will be going back!

I specifically requested and asked b4 i got into the shop if they was able to do a fo hawk! i offered n even described the cut fully. with in 3 min they took a #2 ckipper to the back of my head.then had the nerve to tell ms if i would have had pictures they could have cut it right!Excuse me i told you i had pics on my phone she said it was ok not to bother we have this.that in itself is why this review is going up!then srill had the nerve to follow me out of the shop amd tell me agin really lady get your shop in order and if you can only do one cut HIGH AND TIGHT which isnt even a correct high amd tight close your doors

Big shout out to Deb at Hanover Mens Cuts! You saved me today! So here is what happened. I was in a hurry today and decided not to wait when there were a few people ahead of me, mistake #1. Left with Deb saying for me to call her a little later and she would work with me..me being impatient, decided I would try somewhere else, mistake #2. Walked into another local shop and knew right away that I should leave, but I stayed, mistake #3.. well about the time I am sitting in my car looking at where my sideburns use to be and gashes in my head, Deb calls and says she could fit me in. Needless to say i drove there as fast as I could to get my second hair cut of the day! How she fixed what that lady did to me I will never know, but she DID!!! All I can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I have been going to Hanover Mens Cuts for almost a decade and today was a big reminded why!

Use to go to Deb all the time when I first moved here and unfortunately had to move homes and didn’t travel down that way much anymore. Then met Tiffany and she cut my hair for a couple years and moved into New Hanover Men’s cuts so I came back and couldn’t be happier. She listens and adjusts every time I decide to change it up!
