I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the service department for providing good quality service and also taking the time to address some small minor issues with my vehicle without me asking. They even fixed one of my rear windows that was not working at all. They also cleaned my vehicle inside and out. I feel the love everyone I go there for service. My vehicle is over 10 years old but still drives like a champ. I will always be a LEXUS fan forever! A huge thank me you to my advisor George for allowing me to bring my car in such short notice for battery replacement and oil change.

Had software update. My car was done within the time I was told. There was great communication with updates. I can’t say enough about how courteous, helpful and friendly everyone was. Ron was fantastic in directing me as it was my first time there. He was super friendly and a pleasure to speak with. My car was clean when I got it back. I will come back again for service.

I was very unhappy with concierge service. They recommended I try it instead of waiting for the service. I was scheduled for a Monday and on the Friday before they rescheduled me for the following Friday. I was told 11am . They showed up at 1 and when I called at 12:15 to see if they were still coming the man on the we phone was rude and told me they have a 2 hour window. Then at 6:30 after I tried to call them only to find out they were closed George called an a told me they hadnt even looked at it and wouldnt get to it until Monday since it got to them so late - their fault not mine. If you dont have the staff to do the work DONT SCHEDULE IT!

I called for an appointment to get my oil changed. The lady told me there was a slot open for 11:15 am so I took it. I arrived exactly at 11:15 am. The tech quickly checked me in and sent me towards the service write-up area. After about a 10-min wait, I told the service writer that I was there for just an oil and filter change nothing more. No need to wash the car (I just washed it the day prior), and no need to deal with the cabin and engine air filters as I do them myself.Service writer said, Okay itll be 90 minutes. I replied, 90 minutes? To change the oil? He stated that well, they wash the car and vacuum to which I reminded him I didnt need any of that done so then he said, Okay then, one hour.After waiting for 1 hour I texted him asking what was up. He soon found me in the waiting area and said they were a bit behind and apologized for the wait. After the 2nd hour, I was ready to explode. I even walked to the service area door to see if I could see my car. The tech was just getting into it to bring it out front.When I got back into the service writer area to close everything out, I told him that it was ridiculous that it took 2 hours to get an oil change. He replied that it didnt take 2 hours as the car doesnt immediately go back for service. I replied that it did take two hours because I WAITED two hours. I wondered what the purpose of making an appointment was if it can go back for the service whenever after I arrived.🙄 And to be that backed up after only a half a day clearly shows that their appointment system is severely flawed. To top it off, the receipt said that they washed and vacuumed the car, but that didnt happen as I requested. So then why did they say they did?I have changed the oil and filters in nearly every vehicle Ive owned for years. It takes 15 minutes at the most.Needless to say, I will never ever be back. 😡 Too bad, too. I was really drooling over the LC500.

We have a 2005 Lexus sedan that has been a great car. We needed our Pa inspection and 110,000 service. We were very glad to be able to pick up a loaner car. This also gave us a chance to try out the Lexis SUV hybrid ( what a nice car!). George Shaer was our customer service representative. We loved that we could communicate directly George during the day and could pay for the work before we picked it up. We also told George we had a broken case on one of our ignition keys and had been told it would cost hundreds of dollars to order a new one. He told us to bring it in and if electronics worked they could replace the case and grind a new key for $70. We went home very happy! THEN we discovered we had left a purchase in the back of the loaner. We called George’s personal cell ( which he gives to all customers) and he was able to rescue our package and had it delivered to our house. We have never had this kind of personal, kind, individual service from a car dealership!! When we replace this car we will definitely buy a Lexus and take it for service with this dealer!

The service staff at Koons was very professional and made sure my experience was a positive one. I brought my car in for a recall and was given a brand new loaner car to drive to work. The job was finished by lunchtime and I stopped in to pick my car up and talk with sales about a new vehicle… they were extremely helpful and professional as well. As a younger guy, the level of respect I was given at Koons Lexus has been unmatched by any other dealership I have ever been to. I would highly recommend their beautiful dealership to anybody who needs service, parts, or is in the market for a new/preowned Lexus.

I dropped it off to get an oil change. I noticed that after the service was completed the maintenance light was still on. So I had to drive the car back around into the service line then wait again for customers being serviced to explain my issue with the service representative. After I explained my issue he had the auto valet attendant attempt to “reset” my car, he wasn’t successful trying it so he called in another service person to drive my car back into the service area for a technician to reset my maintenance alert. Not to complain but if you took your vehicle to Lexus and that occurred how would you feel based on your expectation of Lexus?

Disorganized and not focused on customer service, especially compared to other Lexus dealerships. Dealership offers concierge pick-up/delivery of vehicle (which is a nice benefit) but comes at the cost of frustration.Day 1 Thursday: Car was scheduled to be picked up between 9-11am, as they give a 2-hour window. 12:30pm rolls on and no call, no pick-up. After several attempts to contact dealership to find out what happened/what’s the plan, they finally call back at 1:30pm and offer all the excuses possible without a simple apology. They finally pick up the car at 3:30pm. At this point, for an oil change and tire rotation they can’t return the car the same day - which I’m less concerned about since they leave a rental.Day 2 Friday: No call in the morning. They finally reach out at 3:30pm to recommend a few other repairs/routine maintenance items, which I had known about and figured since it’s at the dealership already wanted them take care of. At 5:00pm they complete car, invoice me and notify me that they can’t deliver today because of how late it is. No problem, since I still have a loaner. They were going to call in morning to arrange for drop off since I had informed them that I had to be somewhere at 230pm the next day.Day 3 Saturday: No call in morning. I couldn’t reach anyone until 12pm. They finally call me back at 1:30pm telling me that people didn’t show up for work, it’s crazy there and the manager even said he’s just a pawn delivering news at this point. I said fine,No problem I can be back at 3-330pm if they can deliver it then. He begins to argue with me that it can’t be delivered then and can only be delivered at 230pm which happens to be the only time I couldn’t be available and that info had been communicated to Sean (my advisor and asst mgr) and the lady I spoke with at 12. He tells me to figure it out or they won’t deliver the car until Monday since they’re closed on Sundays.This was not a pleasant call by any measure. Especially with being so flexible and understanding up to this point.I escalate the situation to the dealership Director,Joe, and he calls me back and apologies, and agrees to deliver the car back by 3. At 3:20pm my car is delivered and the woman/front receptionist (which is crazy to me) is beyond apologetic and is telling me how dysfunctional it is right now and I shouldn’t have had to go through all that. Honestly, I wasn’t even mad at this point - just disappointed that I’ve been to this Lexus dealership many times now and it’s been getting progressive worse in terms of experience, customer service and down right professionalism.Mind you, I also requested an appraisal but I’ve been looking at buying a new SUV from them. No appraisal. No sales call. Nothing. They just don’t want the busy. Period.

I’ve owned “luxury” cars over the past 30 years. Lincoln, Cadillac, Infinity, BMW, Mercedes and now Lexus. So far my 20, ES350 has performed as expected but I’m sorry to say my service experience has not lived up to the standards that I’ve become accustomed to with “luxury” car brands.I call to set an appointment, no one calls me back.I ask to be called and informed of the charges for my service, no one calls.I reserve a loner, when one is available it’s always dirty, not even vacuumed.When I pick up my car, I just sit there until someone becomes available!The service here is NO WHERE close to my previous service experience with Lexus competitors!It’s taken me 4 services to come to this conclusion but the service does not match the car or the price I’m paying for it!

Five stars (highest rating). The service technician, George, was exceptional. I called the day before, he scheduled me and the reception process went smoothly greatly assisted by Mark who always seems to remember me and greet me with enthusiasm. George was on top of paperwork, had a loaner car perfectly situated for me, and got me out and on to work quickly. He notified me promptly when service was complete, perfectly briefed me on benefits of the service and promptly got me out the door. His knowledge of the car, his efficiency, his friendliness and professionalism were superb

Since Koons is the only Lexus dealer in Delaware and it is a bit of a trip to go to there from hone it was really nice that they offered free pick up and delivery to service my EX 350.Service agent Sean was very helpful and sounded knowledgeable.Service work was good and quick.The only down side is the communications from the shop to me as far as pick up and delivery times.

Once car was picked up, all went well. But arranging for “concierge “ service was difficult. First I got a text reminding me of need for service and asking if a particular day was convenient. I said “ no “. Then I got a text asking if there was another day that would work. I responded with a suggested date and added that I would like concierge service. I never got a response. Then I got an email again reminding of the need for service. This time I replied on line again suggesting a date and asking for concierge. Again no response. Finally, days later I called Koons. I followed the prompts to service and then pick up and delivery. The phone rang and rang until it disconnected. This happened in two different days. So I gave up and called asking for the regular service schedule. I mentioned I wanted concierge and was told someone would be in touch but that I had a 9:45 am appointment. The day before my appointment I got a text reminding me of the 9:45 appointment but no mention of when the cat would be picked up. I responded asking when. I got a response saying sometime between 9:45 and 12:45, which seemed odd given the 9:45 appointment. The car was picked up about 10:45 with no call to say they were coming. The driver ( and the one who returned the car) was very polite and professional and from then on all went well. But if Koons is serious about offering concierge service and really wants it to be an option for customers, it should do something to make it easier to schedule.

I went to get a tire worked on that I purchased from them not even a year ago due to an issue with the tire itself after purchase. I had been given the impression that I would be covered if anything were to be wrong with the tire when I originally purchased the tire. Upon returning the the shop I had been advised before they even checked my tire that it is not their problem, that they do not cover my brand tires that I PURCHASED FROM THEM and I would have to reach out to the company’s’ corporate to have them assist me with my issue. Then in that same sentence proceeded to offer me tires to purchase again due to their already poor work. It is about nothing but money with this Koons Lexus of Wilmington shop and they will try to trick you and work you to get every last cent they can. Nothing but a scam with an autoshop.

I always receive great service when I have taken any of my Lexus vehicles to Koons for service. I feel like they remember people and keep you updated on what your car needs and they only tell you to get services when it is necessary. I see the same representative for service - George Shaer, and it is also nice having a dedicated service advisor. He is always very helpful and efficient. I look forward to my next purchase from this dealershipAs the other reviews mentioned there was some difficulty setting up a concierge pick up, like I had easily done so in the past. This is no reflection on the service team or sales reps. Not sure if they are experiencing some issues with setting up concierge pick ups but the lady that called me said she was not able to access that option. I hope they can make this easy again but I still give them 5 stars!

The people were nice and the service itself was fine (as far as I know) but the concierge was very mismanaged. They were supposed to pick up my car for a 8:30 am appointment. I was told to be ready by 8am. By 10 am no one had showed up so I called and they had not left yet. They said they would send the next driver back which should be within the half hour. At 11:30 still no one had left. They called finally at 12 noon and said a driver was leaving in the next few minutes from 25 minutes away. I called again at 1:15 since no one had shown yet. Finally at 1:30pm a driver showed up to get my car for my 8:30 am appointment. Not only were they incredibly late but the dishonest communication caused me to wait around all day and delay the things I needed to do (the whole point of the concierge). Also when they returned my car (two days later after simple general maintenance) the gas tank was completely empty.

I had a regular 135k miles appointment. Everything was done in a timely manner including additionally recommended maintenance items. It was not cheap but the dealership added a nice touch and dropped off my car at my house instead of me driving to pick it up. Which I appreciated given how busy my day was. Thank you, George!

George our service advisor makes the difference!He is professional, courteous, and so detail oriented!! He manages multiple tasks at once, but makes you feel like you are the only customer he waiting on.He also reviews your Lexus past history and makes recommendations for repairs including future ones.I drive 2 hours to this dealership ( Koons’ Lexus of Wilmington DE) for repairs and have purchased 2 vehicles from them .That tells you a great deal about their attention to details .I give George a 5 star rating of EXCELLENT!He earns the highest rating!!

I waited while my 2021 Lexus was serviced. After about 2 hours my car was returned to the service area. Service manager never told me what they did to correct trunk lid problem. After another 45 minutes I asked about the car and was given a receipt and told service had been completed. No one ever told me status of work on my car or if it had been completed. I noticed service agent going for coffee several times so they couldnt have been very busy.Seat position and air conditioning controls had been reset and not returned to their original positions.

There was a recall of some sort and Sean in service stepped up and was instrumental in resolving this issue while his plate was quite full, Sean made us feel as if we were the only ones in the building, a feat lost in todays business world.One of his coworkers who was viciously rude and unprofessional, seemed impressed by the way that sean took charge from inception to resolution.Sean apologized to us for the manner in which this coworker behaved as it was glaring and blinding to my wife myself and several coworkers. Sean remained undaunted in his approach to resolving our mechanical nightmare. He continued to search for the best approach to make this ho away..This is my 3rd lexus dating back to the eRlt 1990s. It was time for my scheduled maintenance service. George, the service manager reached out to me by email, text and usps to notify me. Since the pandemic I have used their pick up and drop off service. The process is quick and easy. They work around your schedule. The driver picking up my car was very polite and professional. The loaner car was very, very nice, 2021 NX300 h. Due to staff shortage my car was not returned until the next day. I was at a doctors appointment when the driver arrived at my home. The driver contacted me and was advised of my new location. She was very professional and met me at Chestnut Hill Hospital. I tried to apologize for change in drop off location. She smiled and said no worries it was fine. The change added at least an additional 30 minutes to the time frame for the exchange and the driver was so pleasant. The whole process was excellent.

I wanted a noise that sounded like a door window glass rattling. Seemed like a bigger problem than it turned out to be… I pictured taking the door apart, did-engaging the airbag, etc. After a road test by a Lexus mechanic, it turned out to be a very simple problem. Fixed for $0 . I left happy.

The service experiences at Lexus are always second to none. I will literally never buy a different brand car because of it. They offer home pickup of your vehicle, and drop off a loaner - what a convenience! My GX was due for routine maintenance, they dropped off a clean loaner, on time, and I was on with my day. They send texts and emails to let you know the progress on the work, and our service lead George couldn’t be more personable, polite, or professional! Car was returned, fully detailed, and looks brand new.

I always base my future vehicle purchases on how the service department treats their customers. My past experiences with Koons service department have been subpar, the service reps are always miserable. However, my last experience with Chris was great, he’s pleasant and keeps me posted on my cars status, in the future I will choose to work with Chris, the other service reps can learn a thing or two about “customer service” from Chris.

The service attendant assigned to me behaved as if the business was a store front operated by Jack legs.Once I arrived with the car, after making my appointment online and signing up for a loaner, this attendant confirmed my online appointment then said, he would like to tell me he was George Clooney but that wouldnt be true. Basically my online appointment would be honored but there would be no loaner car.He then told me after looking at the car he noticed temporary tags. Had I put gas in the car recently? Perhaps I did not tighten the gas cap thus the reason for the check engine lights.After the car was diagnostically checked by the tech, the attendant now speaks to me as if I am a human being and informs me there were 17 codes displayed showing there was an electronically problem with the car but it could not be looked at further until Monday. The weekend without transportation.On Monday after leaving voice-mail messages for the attendant and being on hold for 11 minutes he finally picked up the phone after 6 pm but had no idea who I was or the status of my car. I was VERY upset at this point. He complained about their being short staffed. I replied, sir that is not my problem. He was just as loud and angry! Im not sure why?I hung the phone up on George. The service manager, George, keep me apprised of everything that was going on and what was being done as well as helped me with some questions regarding another Lexus that I own.
