Ben was very quick to respond to an emergency outage. He was able to get us up and running. We were in need of a new system, so Chris gave us a very reasonable quote. Jonathan and Dan got the new HVAC unit installed in a timely manner. These guys were very professional and had to work extended hours on a very hot day.We are very satisfied with the customer service!! Dixon has top notch service and technicians! Had a great experience with Johnathan. He came and repaired the AC unit and stayed to make sure the unit was charged correctly. That means he stayed until the house cooled from about 90 to about 78. If he hadnt taken the time to check then the unit would have been over or under charged which would have hurt the system. He also explained what was going on and all of what he was doing. Very good tech. Recommended!

Excellent communication with technicians and someone always picks up the phone. Yes they are available on evenings and weekends! This is the only AC company I know of that shows up same day /sometimes same hour to fix a broken AC. Ben has always been able to get the units running properly ASAP. From now on this is the only company Ill be using for my vacation rentals at Carolina Beach. Its a bad feeling when a guest calls you on a Friday afternoon and tells you the AC is not working but now I know that Dixons has a reliable tech on call! When you have a paying guest on a beach vacation it is very important the house is cooling properly.

Chris from Dixons was very professional, polite and thorough. He seemed to be focused on maintaining our systems for proper operation and reliability moving forward which is what we wanted. I have a hvac system that was installed by Carolina comfort air when home was built.I have had numerous issues with the heating and Carolina comfort air was here 3 or 4 times to fix it but never got it right.after calling Dixon’s a/c service company they came out and the service technician Ben found the real problem the unit was never wired the correct way from the beginning.after rewiring and numerous adjustments has it working properly.A special thanks to Ben and Dixon service.

Our compressor blew late evening last night. Mike Smith, a skilled repairman, was at our house within two hours. He diagnosed the problem and was at our door this mourning ready to restore our air conditioning. He accomplished the job very professionally by early afternoon. We are now sitting in complete comfort. Thank you Mike and Dixons Service Company.

Unprofessional and incompetent.I found that the wiring for my HVAC system seemed to not allow for installation of upgraded thermostats.I give Dixon 1 star because they showed up.The service tech was extremely rude and offensive to me and my family.He was not careful with his ladder and damaged both the walls and ceiling in the master bedroom.He did connect a wire to the new thermostats that had not been previously used, however, he did not ensure that the other end of that wire was attached to the system. It was not.He charged me $150, but the HVAC system did not function correctly because of the work he performed.To top it off, he did not tell the Dixon office about the job.He pocketed the money.Dixon has no record if him having been at our house; which means they will not honor the work or fix the issue.Do yourself a favor, use a different company.

24 hr service appears to be broken.Our twice yearly tune ups were fine, except for the very last minute rescheduling last time (like, minutes before they were supposed to arrive) after I had already made arrangements to be around.However, our air conditioner just stopped working tonight. I called at 12.30 when I noticed, got the answering service who said a technician would be calling me shortly.I waited an hour before I called back at 1.30 am. Waited on the answer service to pick up for 15 minutes. Hung up, called back and am still waiting to talk to ANYONE!!! Its been almost 20 minutes of waiting for answer service to pick up and no technician has tried calling.The animals are getting hot (its 81F and 85% humidity outside and our inside is creeping up close to 80) and I would like to be asleep (its almost 2am). My opinion of Dixon is rapidly dropping. Unlike the temperature in my house.

Came right out and performed service. Always reliable and with our service agreement we always have piece of mind.

Mike did a great job getting our AC back up and going. He came out two days in a row to help problem solve and make sure we had air. He was polite, and offered to clean up any mess that was made. We went ahead and did the maintenance package which saves you a little bit up front on cost. The maintenance plan includes checking/filling refrigerant, cleaning coils, and this will help save on energy costs. Overall, we were very pleased and would highly recommend Dixons and their technician Mike.

Mike came out today for our 6 month service. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Also, they were able to schedule the appointment without much delay and Mike showed up as scheduled. He also called first so we knew he was on the way.

I was selling my home and needed some quick repairs to my air handlers heat strips in order to Close on schedule. Dixons was recommended by a friend and they responded quickly and I feel did a very reasonably priced repair.Shortly after moving to our new home I learned that the heat pump and air handler was beyond reasonable repair and needed to be replaced. Based on my earlier experience with Dixons I got a quote from them as well as several others companies that were recommended or highly visible through their TV adversising. Chris Young from Dixons not only met or beat the other quotes, he provided a higher SEER rated unit and an upgrade to a Trane from the various lesser grade replacements others quoted. Dixon technicians Johnathan and Elvis did a great installation job and I was back in service within the same day. I would highly recommend Dixons for both service and new installation jobs!

In more than 50 years as a homeowner Ive not been so favorably impressed with the response time or the quality of the workmanship. Ray and Chris installed the system in our new home in May so when they responded to our call at the end of July, I was confident that they would resolve the problem promptly. I NEVER write reviews, but I had to for Dixon! My A/C stopped working unexpectedly right while my family was on their way to visit us. Not only did they come same day and early, they were extremely efficient and it cost WAY less than I thought it would! I wasnt there so I even had animals locked in a bedroom and they had to re-lock my front door and they left my house safe and secure for me! Trevor at the office, was super nice and helpful and Mike the tech, did an outstanding job so that my company didnt have to suffer in the heat while they were here! Called this company because their listing stated they were available 24 hours a day. I called at 12:30am because a guest at my rental unit had no A/C. Lady who answered took my call and info and said shed have someone call me shortly. I never got a call back. I get that nobody likes service calls in the middle of the night, but if you advertise that youre able and willing to do that...I think its important that you follow through since people calling off hours are doing so because they have a need that cant wait. Not even a follow up call to say that a repairman wasnt available. So now that leaves me to deal with some very unhappy guests. Not good.

Very thorough and proper diagnostic tests needed to find a shorted wire. Very impressed with how Ben was kind, courteous, and above all well educated! Will call back and ask for Ben!

He was professional and thorough in his explanations, put it in terms I could understand, of the system checks he ran and answered all of the questions that I had for him. I had an air conditioning emergncy during the hottest week of the year to date here in Wilmington, May-2019. I was referred to Dixons Service Company from the previous owner of the house and could not be happier with them! From Trevor who works in the office and got me on the schedule, to Ray and Mike who came out in no time and completed the necessary repair. They accurately identified the issue within minutes of being here, had the neccessary parts on hand and had my air running again within the hour. I cant thank them enough, especially having a one and half year old in the house and no air. This goes above and beyond normal. I highly reccomened them to anyone needing installation and/or repairs!!

We use Dixon Services for both our business and our home. They have always been prompt and courteous. Ive had them out for multiple calls over the years to service what was some very out dated equipment. They got me through the summer for years before I had them install new equipment. There was never a hard sell, just good service. The new equipment has been great. When we had our AC go out at our office in Rocky Point, their service tech Al made the trip up after finishing a job in Carolina Beach for same day service. I always recommend them to friends, family, and customers.

If you have the misfortune of getting stuck with these folks. I hope you dont have the nerve to have any questions about your bill! They invoiced me $600 for permits that cost $60 and got a serious attitude and hung up on me because I questioned it. The owner Ray and his wife are rude and feel entitled to your money for their business expenses. The Technician was rude also. The only person the with any customer service skills is the office person Angie. I hope they enjoy the $600 dollars they stole from me. Cheaters never prosper, I wish I could give them less than one star!!! Horrible people!

The most honest and quality AC and getting repair people I know. Ray Dixon and his team are the most corteous, friendly, knowledgable technicians. They not only did the initial install on our home, I call them for any HVAC servicing needs. They arrive on time every time, and do the job right the first time without frustrating call backs like you get with some other companies. And lets talk price. The price they quote is the price they charge. If anything extra arises, they take the time to show you and explain before hand. By far the most honest people I have ever dealt with. Ray even took the time on one visit to bring equipment manufacturer rep on one occasion to make sure it was to quality.
